After we were finish talking to the Johnson's, we had dessert. Which I loved and so did my sister. Once we were done with dessert, we went back to the hotel. By then, it was already five o'clock. We didn't notice that time flew by, until we got to the hotel. But you know the saying, when your having fun, time flies by.

After we all entered the room, I flopped down on Courtney's bed. "I'm tried." I whined into the bed, because I was face down.

I felt someone sit down next to me, "So am I, but you don't see me face down in the bed." I heard one of the twins.

I propped myself up in my elbows and I looked at the twin. I glared at her, "Oh, shut up."

"Courtney and Chloe, that's enough." We heard our mother snap.

I sat up and looked around, looking around for Alison. "Where is Alison?" I asked.

Mom pointed at the bathroom, "She's taking a shower." She answered my question. "You guys might want to get all of your stuff together. I wasn't kidding about leaving early."

Just then Ali came out of the bathroom, and only in a towel. I heard Courtney burst out laughing, while Ali's face turned bright red like a tomato. "Um... Can someone please give me my pajamas? I forgot them."

Our mother rolled her eyes and grabbed Ali's clothes off of her suitcase and handed them to her. Alison quickly dashed out of the room back into the bathroom.

A few minutes later, Ali came out of the bathroom, and in her pajamas. Our mother was the next person to take a shower, then it was just us sisters.

Courtney was the first one to break the silence, "So, Ali, can you tell us anything about the high school we will all be attending?" She asked.

Alison rolled her eyes, "The only thing you should know, is stay away from me." Next she looked at me, "But you can stick with me, Chloe. And trust me, I'll make sure no one bothers you." Ali chuckled. "They would be stupid to mess with me."

Courtney growled, "That's not what I meant, Alison, and you know it." Woah, what just happened here?

Alison glared at Courtney, "Yes, your little loser friends still go there. After you left, and I took my rightful place as Queen Bee, they all stayed friends without you."

I glanced between my sisters, confused. "Wait, what?"

Courtney sighed and looked at me, "In seventh grade, Radley had some financial problems and they thought they were going to close. So I went home, for about a week and our parents planned on sending me to another mental hospital. The Preserve at Addison-Stevens. That place goes beyond hell. Until-"

Alison cut her off, "Until she decided to leave the house and make friends with losers."

"They are not losers!" Courtney screamed. Ali rolled her eyes, while Courtney continued. "Anyhow, four girls came to our house for a Time Capsule flag that Ali got and we're going to take it from her." Courtney pause and looked at Ali. "Well, she stole it. Just like she usually does."

Alison growled but shut up. Courtney smirked, "I was the only one that heard them, and went outside to the porch and called out to them."

I pushed opened the screen door, and watched the four girls. Out of the four of them, I only recognized one. It was the girl who lived next door, Spencer Hastings, the one Alison says is a loser. All four of them were now arguing, and fighting over who should and who shouldn't get Alison flag. When the screen door slammed closed, all four of them looked up. I smirked, they thought I was Ali.

"You can come out," I yelled, calling out to the four of them.

None of them moved.

"Seriously, I know someone's there." I paused and continued. Trying to act like Alison. "But if you've come for my flag, it's gone. Someone already stole it."

Slowly, all four of the girls moved away from the bushes, showing themselves. First Spencer, then a chubby blonde, next a girl with dark hair with pink highlights, and finally the last girl came out, who looked like a swimmer because of her build.

They all started asking question, and the answer just flew right out of my mouth. I can do this. I can be Ali. I said to myself.

My jaw hung wide open, and I even think a fly flew into my mouth. Courtney pretended to be Alison. She even made friends with some people. Now I was starting to question my chose on staying with the DiLaurentis.

I felt someone push up my jaw, closing my mouth. I glanced over and saw it was Alison. I cleared my throat, "Where were you during all of his?" I asked her.

Ali was just staring at Courtney, "I was inside the house, while that was happening. Then I was being dragged out of the house, because the night before. I told our mother that she threaten me, and when Courtney went outside. They were about to take her back."

"But they didn't. What happened?" I questioned.

Alison smirked, "Courtney wasn't so smart."

I looked over at the other twin and she sighed, "There's only one difference between Alison and I." Courtney pushed up her sleeve and so did Alison. I notice a long scare on Courtney's arm, and none on Alison. A scare that looked like Courtney cut herself. "Our parents notice it, and I was sent back to Radley. I only got a week away from there, but it was all worth it."

I pointed at the scare on Courtney's arm, "Courtney, did you..." I trailed off.

Her eyes started to water, "Yes, I did it at the beginning of sixth grade. I was able to get a hold of a real knife from the cafeteria at Radley, and hid it under my pillow. At midnight, I took it out and cut my arm." She paused and a tear fell down her cheek. "I accidentally cut a vein and I lost a lot of blood."

Courtney was then in tears, Alison sighed and got up from the bed. Next she went over to Courtney and pulled her into her chest. Alison twin started crying even harder in Alison's chest.

"Courtney lost a lot a blood that she almost died." Alison continued. "It was the only time I was there for her."

"The only time she had a shoulder to cry on." I mumbled and Alison most of heard it, because she nodded.

Courtney continued to cry until our mother came out of the bathroom. Courtney quickly gathered her clothes and ran into the bathroom. Alison sighed and got up from the bed.

My sister went over to our mother, "Hey Mom, Chloe and I are going to get ice. Do you want a drink or something?" She asked. What? I never agreed on that.

"Oh, why thank you Alison. Could you get me a Diet Coke? If they don't have it, get me Coke." Our mother answer and pulled out some money. "Maybe you can get Courtney something."

Alison smiled and nodded. She went over to the door and opened. Ali looked back at me, "Chloe get the ice bucket and let's go."

I rolled my eyes and grabbed the silver bucket and left the room.

When we were like five room down, Alison spoke up. "Mom hates hearing about the past, especially about Courtney. That's why I pulled you out."

"What happened? While Courtney was you?" I questioned as we walked to the room.

Alison looked over at me, "She made friends with the losers, ditching the most popular kids in the school." My sister rolled her eyes, "Anyhow, one of the girls she made friends with ruined her life. But not really."

"What do you mean?" I asked.

Alison stopped walking and grabbed my arm, stopping me as while. "Courtney is gay, Chloe. Our parents are homophobic about all of that. They found out about her after they found out about the switch."

"What? Did this girl bring out her inner lesbian?" I chuckled and continued walking.

Alison quickly grabbed my arm again, and her grip was a little tighter. She stopped me and turned me around so I was facing her around. "I'm not kidding, Chloe. Courtney is in love with that girl, and she can't see her because of our parents. It wasn't about the switch that got Courtney sent back to Radley, Chloe. It was also her being gay."

Alison paused and let go of my arm and walked passed me. When she was about five steps away from me, she stop and spun around to look at me. "Sometimes, I don't think you understand our family Chloe. We don't get along, we don't communicate, and we don't care. But when we do, Chloe, it comes and bites us in the ass."
