The End

The End

This is the last post in this book. With this I have written 400 essays on science, technology, religion and related subjects. I've covered as much as I could on these subjects, but I've run out of new ideas.

The original book 'The Theory of Nothing' covered a wide variety of subjects, and this book expanded on them. I wrote these to educate and explain in simpler terms the very complicated ideas in science and religion. My hope was to encourage others to write about science, and some did. A lot of my time on this site has been spent trying to encourage people to write anything. Many would-be authors, especially young ones, get discouraged too easily. They think that one can obtain instant success. That doesn't work unless you write romance stories or fan fiction. Poetry is one genre of writing that is very hard to gain interest. The only way to improve is to read a lot and write as much as possible. Practice makes perfect, or at least reasonably good.

I also covered a lot of religious subjects, many of which are controversial. This is one of the pitfalls of writing on anything that could be considered religious. However, some things about religion are universal. Most religions believe in a god. The only problem with this is trying to explain what a god really is. That's the problem with something that is a subject of faith not science. Science requires proof and verifiable experimental results or repeatable observations. Faith is based on belief in something that can't be proven. Anyone that read my posts should know this by now.

I believe that there is no reason that religion and science can't get along. I believe that the creative force that is responsible for this vast, marvelous universe we see wanted us to be here and is responsible for all of the scientific laws that we have discovered. In fact I believe that the true mind of God is contained in the mathematics that drives the physics of this universe. I also believe that a scientist can believe in God. There is no reason to not believe in a creator. However, that's only my belief. I realize there are some that would argue the point.

I want to thank all of the many readers that took the time to read my posts, and I am especially grateful to those who voted and commented. Some of the comments resulted in a lengthily discussion. I'm happy that I could entice people to take an interest in science.
I'm not sure If I will start another book like those I've completed. Maybe if enough readers would be interested, I would consider it.

Thanks for reading.
