Step 7
The hot breeze made Ty tempted to tie his bangs up. Squinting up at the sun; it was maybe 94 degrees.
Yet he wore a jacket anyway. It was his typical way of hiding his insecurities.
Walking down the block, Ty ignored people's conversations and quickly walked past people who stared at him. Stuffing his hands in his jean pockets, he began counting the streets he walked across.
In the big city, it was hard to do practically anything without the realization you're surrounded. Biting his lip, Ty's hand slightly twitched as his eyes landed upon a cute little pastry shop.
'Chloe's Cupcakes' was the title. How honorable.
It didn't take much before he forced himself into the shop.
'New scenery should be a good change in perspe-' Ty froze when he noticed a brunette sitting alone at a table, staring solemnly at his cup of coffee.
Quickly turning around, he was about to move out the door when something stopped him.
"Ah... uhm.." Ty really hated life at the moment. Turning his head slowly, he saw the boy staring at him, eyes wide open in surprise. He was standing up, one hand on the table whilst the other was outstretched towards him. It looked like he was going to take Ty's hand. His face still looked troubled, yet his eyes were staring right at the latter.
It was nothing but the warm scent of coffee, Ty, and the not drunk man who saved him.
'What is this situation?!'

Step 7

Ty found himself sitting across from the brunette, him ordering Ty a cup of warm coffee.
"Would you like creamer?" The boy's eyes glanced right into Ty's eyes, a warm smile filling up his atmosphere.
Ty looked elsewhere, not saying a word.
"...He'll have a bit of creamer."
As the waitress left, Ty began to shift uncomfortably.
"We never introduced each other." His baritone voice filled Ty's heavy hearing. He looked over at the taller, examining his movements.
"My name is Adam. I work as a business man." Adam held out his hand. Ty stared at his outstretched hand hesitantly, his wide eyes staring.
His hand slowly reached towards his hand, and soon his hand slightly shook Adam's.
"What about you?" Adam asked, putting his hand away. He never realized how small the other was until now. What tiny hands.
Ty simply stared at Adam.
"..You don't talk much, do you?" Adam asked hypothetically. "Well-"
Just as Adam was about to finish, the waitress came back with Ty's coffee. She delicately set it down in front of him, causing Ty to stare at the coffee.
It didn't look half bad.
---------
It won't take much for someone to believe.
It just takes a while to get them to open their eyes.
So climb that mountain,
Jump that river,
Pass through every maze,
Look up upon the horizon.

A/N
I thought I needed to postpone the chapter again, but I managed to get it done in time.
Hope you guys are having a good Monday so far; or will have a good Monday. For me I'll post the chapter 30 minutes after I wake up. Like what I usually do. So with time changes.. it's either you're currently in Monday or starting Monday. Or maybe you're ending Monday. Who knows *shrugs
