The ladies then start doing their works!

It was almost 6am now! The men started waking up! So do Kathir! He got up from the bed now! He went out searching for His Mullai!

 Dhanam and Meena came from kitchen!

Then Kathir went searching for His Azhagi again!

Kathir moves from there with little disappointment! 

Suddenly, Mullai holds his hand and pulled him near her!

K: (fake anger) Ippe enna?

Mullai signalled him to come near with a naughty look and showed her forehead – asking for a kiss on her forehead!

K: Po Dii! Katthipidicha mathum kathuve! Yennai thithuve! Ippe ithu mathum venama? Mudiyathu po!

M: Seri ponge! Ennaku enna? (turns and continue drying her hair just like before he came there)

K: Yenna posukunu poge sollithe! Appe avolothan le! (turned to walk away) Po! Naan poren!

Kathir moves a bit – but stops there and comes back near her, standing in a very short distance from her!

M: Avasara pathuthiye Mulla! Kochikithu poithange paaru! (Kathir is controlling his laughter) Avenghe porantha naal athuma ippedi pannithiye Mulla! Poiyi samathanam paduthu po! 

Mullai turns in jiff and shocked to see him there!

K: Enna Madam? Appediye nikkiringe? Vaange....vanthu samathanam paduthunge! Vaange!

Kathir can't control his laugh anymore! He laughed out loud seeing her childish look! And eventually she can't get angry after seeing this innocence yet romantic Kathir!

She ran and HUGGED HIM again! He HUGGED HER BACK!

After a while......

K: Yaarum vanthure porange Ma! Pothum! (moves her out from the embrace)

M: Seirathelam senjuthu! Pothum am le! (smiles)

Kathir held her face and KISSED HER FOREHEAD - fulling her wish! Both was very happy!

K: Ippe santhosam thanne? (Mullai nodded YES) Naan ulle poren! (Mullai nodded ok)

All the men at the hall! Even Dhanam and Meena was chit-chating about KM there! Amma was at the hall too! Mullai goes to the kitchen!

Each one wishing Kathir for his birthday! He was very much happy! Usually they forgot to wish him and he never have bothered to celebrate too! But today....all this just happened because of his woman, His Mullai! She have changed all this! He felt so lucky for her being in his life!

Mullai comes in with tea for everyone!

M: Ellarum tea eduthukonge! Kanna...unnakum inniki tea tha....Intha pidi!

Kn: Ennakum tea ah? Tea le inniki enna Ni special?

M: Athu...ellarukum Masala Tea pothuruken!

(Mullai and Kathir felt a little embrassed)

Then all goes from there to get ready for the day!

After some time, Dhanam called everyone for breakfast! Everyone settled down for breakfast!

All had their breakfast and get ready to go for their daily chores!

Mo: Aha...seri seri! (smiles)

The men disperse to PS Shop and the ladies returned to work!

Then afternoon came!

Kathir came for lunch! All the ladies were sitting near the pillars and chit-chating among them!

M: Avanuku iniki etho extra class iruku...Late ah tha varuven sonnen Nghe!

Kathir understood the meaning of both his Annis! He smiled within himself! Meena noticed Kathir!

Even Mullai understood their meaning! She smiled withen herself too! Dhanam noticed Mullai!

Meena and Dhanam left the house!

M: Aha...irunge eduthu varen! (Mullai goes to the kitchen and Kathir goes to clean himself)

Kathir comes and see Mullai is still not at the dining hall! He goes to the kitchen! She was taking the plates and food! He goes behind her and HUGGED HER!

M: Yenghe! Vidunge!

K: Paarda! Mothe maari kathuve nu nenaichen! Parvaleye!

M: Athu...athu....appo yaaru nu therleye athan! Aana...ippo...inge....neengelum naanum mathum thanne irukom! Ungele thavire vere yaar ippedilam enkitte seivange?

M: Help ah? Ippediye pidichikitha?

K: Ada aama le! (moves from hugging her) Inge kudu! Naan eduthu varen!

Both KM brings the food outside of the kitchen! Sat down together and starts eating together happily!

M: Inniki ungeluku pidichatha....naane samaichen! Sapdunge!

K: Ennaku pidichatha? Nee mathume samaichiya? Ennakaga va?

M: Aama! Naan than inniki main chef! Akka vum Meena chinna chinna help tha pannange!

K: Appedi enna...en pondathi samichinge inniki? Eduthu vai paarpom!

M: Athu.....ungeleku than vege naan rombe pidikum le! Kaikarilam pothu sambar veichen! Ungeluku pidiche meal maker porichen! Aha....Vendakai pirathal iruku! Apparom.....ungeluku pidicha....ennode special omelette iruku! Ah....Mooru kalaiki vechiruken! Aiyoo angeye iruku mooru!

Mullai goes to take mooru from kitchen – Kathir takes 2 plates and put food on both the plates! – Mullai comes in with Mooru and tumblers!

K: Intha! Sapdu! Unnakum pothu vechithen!

Mullai was very much elated – She then pours the mooru in both tumblers and passed one to him and take one for herself! Both ate happily!

After a few sips of food....

Kathir took one urundai of rice.....

K: Intha Ma! Sapdu!

Mullai was dumbstruck by this gesture!

K: Enna appedi paarkuren! Naan thane...uthividuren! Sapdu Ma! Intha! Aaaahhh.....

Then they finish eating happily and felt so completed! Both cleared the placed and cleaned all the stuffs together!

Then they sat together at the hall!

M: En Chellathuku naan kudukame vere yaar kudupaa? Innom iruku!

M: Ippe kadaiku poithu vaange! Konjam....irunge varen! (goes in to take lunch for everyone at shop) Inthange! Kadaile ellarukum sapadu! Time aaguthu...ange ellam ungeluku wait pannithu irupange! Poithu vange!

K: Pongenumaa?

M: Aama! Ponge! (push him to the entrance)

K: Cheri cheri....poren! Thallathe Ma! Kaile sapadu irukule!

M: Okok sorry! Poithu vaange!

K: Varen Dii Pondathi! (smiles)

M: Bye Daa Purushaa! (smiles)

Kathir left to shop and Mullai goes inside!

Dhanam and Meena comes after a while!

Me: Kathir kelambiyacha? Sapthingela?

M: Aha...kelambithange! Naange sapthom! Vaange neenge rendu perum sapdunge! Naa eduthu veikiren vaange!

D: Parvale irukathum Mulla! Nee poi velaiye paaru! Naange paarthukurom!

Me: Aama Mulla! Neenge ponge! Konjam rest edunge! Apparom cake vere seiyanum le! Ippe naange paarthukurom!

Dhanam and Meena had their lunch! Mullai also has done with her works! All the ladies were at the hall!

After some time...... Everyone got refreshed from their rest!

D: Illaiye! Neenge yaarum sonningela? (Both Meena and Mullai shaked their head NO)

The ladies goes in excitedly to prepare cake! Kanna called Jeeva and informed him! Kanna then joins the ladies in kitchen! All helped Mullai! Then finally the cake is ready!

Then everyone at home start having their bath and get ready for the simple celebration! Jeeva and Moorthy came home from shop! Even Kumeresan Mama and Saravana came with them! But Kathir was not there!

M: Enge Mama avenghe? Neengelam mathum varinge!

Ku: Paarda! Naanum Saravana um vanthurukom! Athu inthe pulle kannele theriyutha paaren! Avan varele nu mathum nalla theriyuthu! Hahagagahaha!

M: Aiyoooo appedi illai Pa! Vaange Pa! Vaa Saravana! (got little tensed up) Ippo sollunge aveghe enge?

M: Oh appediya! Seri Saravana! (goes in happily)

(everyone rushes inside – nobody at the hall)

Kathir comes in – shocked to see nobody at the hall –

K: Enna da ithu? Yaarume kaanom? Kadailerunthu Annangelam vanthurupangele inneram! Annis Kanna...Mullai nu yaarume inge illai! Enge poirupange? 

(starts calling each one and goes inside) 

K: Mulla! Mulla! Anni! Kanna!

He reach the dining hall which was a little dark! It was the place where everybody was waiting for him! 

As he comes near.....

All shouted together: Surprise! Happy Birthday!

Then everyone moved aside, Mullai came in front with a cake with lighted candles on it ...

Kathir was astonished! Mullai looked so much like a Devathai! She came near him!

M: Enna appedi paarkuringe! Happy Birthday! 

Kanna brings a small table near him and took the cake from Mullai and placed the it on top of table!

Kn: Enna neh paarkure? Cake eh vettu! Inthe cake Mullai Anni ye senjange! Naangelam konjam help pannom! 

(Mama laughed)

K: Mama? Neengelum.....(then sees Saravana with Mama) Deyh Saravana.....Neeyum inge than irukiya?

Ku: Aama daa! Inge tha irukom! Nee...Mullai senje cake eh vetthu mothe! Kelvilam apparom ketkelam! Hahahagagagaha!

Everybody sang....Happy Birthday to You song!

Then the cake feeding happened!

D: Aasai aasaiya cake senje Mullai ku mothe uthividu Kathire!

Kathir with a little smile....Feed her the cake!

K (soft voice): Thanks Ma!

M: (she feeds him back) Happy Birthday (softly) Chellam!

Then the cake feeding continued for everyone! Elders blessed Kathir and Mullai! Then all went to have their dinner together! Mullai cooked the lunch in a big amount today! So its gonna be the same dishes for dinner! Nobody complaint anything! They actually appreciated Mullai's effort! They understood her love for Kathir! All had their dinner happily together! Then the men from shop disperse to get themselves showered up! Saravana and Mama went home! The ladies cleaned everything and everyone dispersed to their rooms!

In KM room –

Kathir was sitting on the bed and turned towards the wall! Mullai comes in!

M: Chellam!

He turned slowly! He wiped his tears before turning fully! But she saw him wiping his tears! She goes near him quickly!

M: Yennaghe aachi? Yen azhuringe? (held his face in her palms and wiped his tears)

K: Athu...onnum illai! Anandha kanneer! Ahhhh....cake rombeve nalla irunchu Ma! 

M: Appediya? Thanks Chellam!

K: (becomes emotional) Inniki nadanthathu ellam ennaku rombeve puthusu! Naan kadaisiya....appa irukom bothu...rombe chinna pullaiya irukum bothe tha cake vethune! Mullai sits up on the paayi! She was afraid!

M: Yenghe! Naan...... (starts crying) Ippedi kovama pesathinge! Ennaku bayama iruku! Unmaiyave kovam paduringela?

Kathir goes near her and sits on the paayi next to her!

K: Mulla! Azhatha! Nee mathum appo appedi pesithu...ippo eppadi panna...kovam varatha enna?

M: Yenghe! Kovama? Sorry Nghe! Naa.....

K: Ey! Pondathiiiii.....Unna pathi ennaku theriyatha? Kovam padelam nu tha paarthen! Aanalum....un mele ennaku kovame vare maathuthu! Athuthan ennane theriyele! (smiles at her) Appedi ennaiye mayaki vechiruke dii!

K: Oh...appedi! (smiles) Kile paduke poroma? Ennaku kile paduthu...palakam iruku! Unnaku ok va? Kile padutha...unnaku udambu valikatha?

M: Yenghe? Naan kile paduthe illaiya? Kalyanathuku apparom...inthe bed inge varathuku munne...yenghe paduthena? Kili thanne? Neenge mathum annadikum kile thanne padukuringe! Innime naanum ungelode ingeye padupen!

K: Ada aama le! Maranthuthen! (smiles) Annadikom lam kile paduke vendam! Appo appo inge padukelam! Appo appo ange paduthukelam! Cheriya? Ippo light off pandren! Padukelama?

M: Aha...cheringe!

He came lying beside her on the paayi! Both orukalichi sleeping with facing their faces! Mullai placed her hand on him! He pulled her near him!

K: Good night Ma!

M: Good night Chellam! I love you daa Purushaaa!

K: Love you too dii Pondathiiii!

Mullai slept securely in his embrace! Kathir slept peacefully with her hold!

It was an unexpected yet very beautiful birthday for Kathir! Even a very memorable day for Mullai! A day to be treasured by both Kathir and Mullai in their life!
