So many scenes flashed in my mind as soon as I heard his surname .

Yes .. his brother is the one who killed my Taehyung . Mr. Seon Hyun Wu killed my Taehyung .

Mr. Seon: hello Miss Y/n . I'm Seon Geon Wu . I'm here to bring back my elder brother Seon Hyun Wu back alive .

Y/n: ah.. hi

I wasn't able to understand what's happening. I'd known that Mr. Hyun Wu had an younger brother , but wasn't into this mafia business and all . It seemed like he was doing his higher studies in Europe . Now he's in front of my eyes and wants to bring his brother back ?? Means his elder brother is dead ? But .. how ? When ??

I never knew anything about any of our enemies after I left the Mafia and neither did my oppas . Daniel is now managing the whole mafia and he would probably be knowing how he died and stuff . What if Daniel itself killed him ?

But that's not what's important now . His brother is here like a competitor for me . It's like we both are students competing for the 1st rank , Dr. Lee being our teacher . But this isn't which depends neither on knowlege nor luck . It's all on our strengths of desire and love which would help us .

I only knew one thing now , I've to work hard to get back love of my life . I shouldn't worry about who my opponent is . I should put in the best of me .

While I was immersed in my thoughts , Dr. Lee seemed to recieve a call .

Dr. Lee: ah.. please let me attend this call , it's a bit urgent . Feel comfortable till I return .

He informed us and went to his balcony.

Geon Wu: so.. you are here to risk your life for ?

Y/n: my husband .

I didn't know what to tell . My love ? My soulmate ?? My life ??? But all those words are well explained in the title 'husband' .

Geon Wu: oh ok . Would you be comfortable sharing how he lost his life ?

He kept on asking so many direct questions that I didn't even know why he was so curious about . Should I even tell him? Doesn't he know me ? Obviously he doesn't because my name was always hidden from the outside world . Only the Mafia members knew it .

He wants to know how Taehyung died . How would I tell him his own brother killed him ?

Y/n: hmm.. He was killed ... Taehyung was killed

Geon Wu : Mr Kim Taehyung ?

Y/n: yes ..

Geon Wu: so you are Yung Y/n ??.. Kim Y/n?

He gave a small pause and told my name with Taehyung's surname because I'd earlier told Taehyung is my husband .

Y/n: yeah and your brother was the one who killed him .

Geon Wu : no Ms. Kim it wasn't him . I know that all of you think it's him who killed your husband but it isn't him . I don't have a proper evidence to prove it but trust me . One of his most trusted men, Mr. Kan told me that my brother went missing even before Mr. Kim was killed . After one day of searching , they had found out that he's no more . He had been killed by someone whom we are still not able to find out . It was told that I had to take over his Mafia but I knew nothing about those things . Mr. Kan is now taking care of everything and we are in search of the killer . As soon as I bring him back , the truth will be out .

The confidence throned on his words was immense and it made me think for a while if Mr. Hyun Seon was really the killer . But then criminals are really smart . I can't fall in their trap , that to not for words . The last sentence he spoke gave me some negative feeling . 'As soon as I bring him back' .. he has so much dedication and hope that he will bring his brother back someway . But it doesn't mean I don't . The negative feeling also lit up the fire in me to show how much I love my Tae . It's time to do that . Normally I believe that why should I show it to someone how much I love a person . It's all in between us . I don't need to prove it to anyone . Our mutual understanding is what matters . But now , because he's physically not present like a human being , I need to use a different method . It's no more only between us . I don't like competing with someone telling I love my person more that you like yours . I just feel it silly . Everyone's love is in their unique way which can't be compared . But at the end of the day , only one can enter the Immortal World . So , I've to make it . I've to bring back the missing peice of my life .

Before I reply Geon Wu , Dr. Lee walked in .

Dr. Lee: sorry to keep you waiting . Here I am . I'm gonna turn off my phone and talk so that there'll be no more disturbances . So you both ready ?

Geon Wu: yes

I nodded .

Dr . Lee: so .. tomorrow is the full moon day , on which it's believed that spirits and souls gain their maximum power . When you sit to meditate , it's to convince the king of immortal world who's indeed a spirit . He has to believe that you really love that soul and that soul deserves to live . When you are meditating , don't think about anything except the person you are wanting to meet alive . Once you start , don't stop until you fight for it . The ones who's entry is accepted by the spirit will leave it's body immediately. After that it's all upon yourselves cause no one can tell what happens once you change into a soul . I believe that there will be some book of rules that you have to follow before entering the castle of souls . The other's meditation who's entry is denied will get interuppted in some way and it ends there .

Don't think that if you gain the entry to the Immortal world , it's your victory . No , it not that way , you have to work hard to come back alive with your loved ones . All I tell is , put your best . This is one time experience only , you can't do it all over again . The one who's gonna help you too has an important role . He's the one who will try his best to keep all the distractions away . He should contact me as soon as you fall unconscious, meaning the soul has left and otherwise it's not required because others just break the meditation and open their eyes .

I took a deep breath , thinking about the meditation . I left the place with my absent mind . I took a cab and reached home . Nothing could distract me from thinking about Tae now .

I walked in and there stood Jungshook Jungkook .

Y/n: what happened ?

Jk: you went to meet Dr. Lee?

Y/n: yes , what's with it ??

Jk: why alone ? You could have taken me along with you .

Y/n: it's fine . You were sick and fell asleep with diffuculty . I didn't wanted to bother you .

Jk: it's not bothering . Nothing is more important that V hyung .

Y/n: ayy .. I didn't mean it that way . Anyways it was nothing much he told us , I'll tell you everything what happned .

Jk: yes yes tell me

Y/n : before that , I met Mr . Hyun Seon's younger brother there . I got to know that he's dead and his brother wants to bring him back .

Jk: what that bastard ?? He's not dead . He's alive hiding somewhere . That stupid coward .

Y/n: then why was his brother there ?

Jk: it may be a trap . They may be trying to grab your attention somewhere else . See that's the reason I didn't wanted you to go alone . What if something happened to you ? What if the idiot did something to you ??

Y/n : Aish !! Chill I'm all safe . That's not the real matter now . Shall we ask Daniel about him ?

Jk: look Y/n , I'll take care of all those . You just be tension free and concentrate on what's imprtant . It's just a day to go . Prepare yourself mentally and physically .

Y/n : thank you so much Jungkook . You are really helping me a lot .

I then told everything what Dr. Lee told us . He told some motivating words and those really helped .

I wanted to talk to Yunha once . As soon as Jungkook left , I went to Yunha's room. The door was unlocked and she wasn't visible at the first sight . I kept searching and I saw her in one corner . I tiptoed and sat next to her .

Y/n: Yunha .. please talk to me . You look too low . I know the reason too . I just wanna make it clear that there's nothing between me and Jungkook . I can't guarantee you that I can patch up your relationship because I barely know about your pasts . I don't think it's good to interfere without knowing that . So please excuse me for going against my words I'd told earlier . But let's just hope for the happy ending for all .

There was dead silence for a while . She then started speaking very softly .

Yunha: it's okay Y/n .. not all stories end happily . And after all it's a life story , so I can't change my fate by tearing the pages and writing it on my own . I think I should try to move on . I don't know why , but I see pain in his eyes whenever he sees me , acts all cold towards me . I Still have some drop of hope that we can be together . I feel I should make myself ready for anything that we are destined for . Together or ... far apart .

I felt the deep pain in her words too . I didn't know how to console her . There's nothing I can promise her for . I really don't wanna make any move in their matter and create more problems . I'll leave it all to Tae as he knows what's up with Jungkook.

As we were talking , I received a call from my mom . It's been a long time I spoke to her . I gestured Yunha that I'll get back to her in few minutes . She nodded in response with a small smile.

On the call :

Y/n : hello mom!!!
Excitement was filled in my words as I missed her

Y/n/m: hello my sweet heart . How are you doing ?

Y/n: I'm fine mom . How are you ??

Y/n/m: I'm good dear .

There was an awkard silence for few seconds . My mom is a person who is very talkative but when it comes to serious matters , she turns all opposite .

Y/n: what happened mom ?

Y/n/m: hmm.. you are risking your life Y/n . Have you thought about it .

I froze on that moment . How did she get to know ?

Y/n/m : Jungkook has told me everything. I know you and him are not dating , have no intention of marrying . I have no much problem about that . But the meditation what you are doing ... will not garantee my daughter's life .

Y/n: but what am I without him mom ? You have seen me so many days . You were the one to tell me that I've lost myself. So what sense do I make without him . A person who sacrificed his life for me ? Now I do stand for risk when it's the time . I'm sorry mom , I didn't inform you earlier . I thought you won't agree for it . I've the sitaution to do or die mom . I choose to do , risk and then die if I'm not sucessful rather than dying like a coward . So please don't worry mom. I'm sure my love for him is greater than anything . I'll surely be sucessful. Wait for me to bring your son-in-law .

Y/n/m: I'm so glad to hear you talk so maturely Y/n . I've always respected your decisions , let you do whatever you want . Even your decision of being the most fearful Mafia . But you do remember your dad's state when he got to know about you taking over your Uncle's mafia right ? H-he got a stroke . So think wisely and take a move .

Y/n: surely mom . Trust me .

She kept giving me advises . I told her not to worry much and not to tell dad about that . He is too sensitive and it's dangerous for him to listen to news like that as we both feared he may get a stroke again . That wouldn't spare his life .

I walked towards the hall to drink some water after the intense serious talk with my mom. On the way I saw Jungkook in the balcony , standing alone and staring at the sky. I wonder what's bothering him as he looked sad and confused . I went near him and I wanted to thank him for informing my mom about everything. I too felt guilty about not telling it to her by myself . He had to speak on behalf of me .

Y/n: hey kook . Thanks a lot for talking to my mom . I feel much better now as I'm not doing it secretly . By the way when did you even speak about it ?

Jk: I'd gone to your house when you were in Dr. Lee's place . I wanted to take you with me but I thought it would be late. So I went alone .

Y/n: oh ohk . Thank you so much .

Jk: not a big deal Y/n . I thought it was a big decision to take , without your parents' approval .

Y/n: it was . I'm happy that they now know about it .

He smiled and nodded . He kept staring at the sky again and began to get lost in his thoughts . I just felt it's better to leave him alone . I went to my room in the thought that it's better I don't talk anything about Jungkook and Yunha .

I sat on the bed thinking about tomorrow . I closed my eyes and kept preparing myself for whatever would happen . After a while , I felt someone around me . I flashed open my eyes to looked at the clear eyes of Tae . I felt lost in the galaxy of love I could find . I quickly hugged him tight . I could really touch him , feel him but knew that it's all for today . Tomorrow night would decide if I can really get him back into my incomplete life .

V: thank you Y/n . I love you so much . I'm too scared to see you risk your life . I don't feel good about it .

Y/n: nothing's gonna happen Tae . We will be together again . Either in real or as souls . I'm ready for anything .

He hugged me again . The worst thing was I couldn't hear his heart beating . Anytime I hug him , his heartbeat provided me the most soothing music , but it wasn't heard this time . As he was just a soul with powers now . After the warm hug he gave me , I couldn't feel him anymore . He vanished . I panicked at the first but then heard someone's steps heading towards my room . I got to know why he vanished suddenly . Thank god he wasn't seen by anyone expect me .

Jin: Y/n-ah come lets have dinner . Everyone's at the dining today . Literal everyone . No one's missing .

He was so happy to tell that . I wasn't that hungry but also didn't wanted to disappoint oppa . So I just went without delaying . I felt like a complete family dinner after so many days . Any one of us would be missing all the time . But it was surely special now . It was a joyful meal filled with laughter . Not everyone laughed , but it still remained a merry one .
