Bonus Chapter 2
Grace put Ethan into a sexual high, and after she was finished, he sat in his chair with his head leaning back against the chair, wondering where that all came from. Wiping her mouth with the back of her hand, she got up from her knees, grinning. She clenched onto his shirt, and pulled him towards her, giving him a kiss that had him begging for air.
"Wow, Grace..." he moaned, wondering what he did to deserve this. Shivers began running through him, and shook his head. He cupped her cheeks, and looked her in the eyes. "I'm not sure where all that came from, or what I did... and don't take that I didn't like it, because I definitely enjoyed it..." he started speaking, until she placed a finger on his lips, quieting him up. "Shhh..."
He smiled, and pulled her finger off his lips, as a thought ran through his mind, and wondered if it could even be possible. "Does this all have anything to do with something growing inside you again?" he asked smiling, hoping she was there to tell him she was pregnant again.
She shook her head no, and stood up. She walked around the desk, grabbed her purse, and walked back over to him, and sat on his lap. She wrapped an arm around his shoulder, and started running her fingers up through the back of his head. "No... not that."
"Then what's on your mind?"
"Well... I bought a couple things the other day when I was at the gas station." She opened her purse, and looked back at him "I think I might need to find an attorney." she says, pulling out a piece of paper, and handing it to him with a big grin.
He looked at the paper, then looked back at her, tilting his head to the side "Lottery numbers?" he asked, looking at her confused.
"Yes... all of these numbers matched last night's drawing."
"What?"
"Look them up, I myself had to check them multiple times. I couldn't believe it." She nudged his arm, urging him to look on his computer "Check them, make sure I'm not looking at them wrong... please?"
He slid her to the side, and pulled his laptop to the edge of the desk, and signed in. He googled the lottery website, clicked on it, and looked for the Superball numbers. He looked at the winning numbers from the night before, and then at her ticket. As he checked her numbers, his hands started shaking. With his one hand wrapped around her waist, he pulled her back tightly against him, and rested his chin on her shoulder.
"Do you know what this means?" he asked in shock.
"They all match, don't they?" she asked "I do need an attorney, am I correct?"
"I'll call Antonio, I don't think he deals with this sort of thing, but I'm sure he could lead us to one who could help."
Grace tensed up, and turned around to look at him "I'm not so sure I want him to know?"
"Why?" Ethan asked confused, he figured she would be excited to share the news with Antonio, and Sadie. It made no sense to him.
"Because, I would like to share it with them... but as a surprise."
"Grace... you can still surprise Sadie; Antonio would be the best person to tell... he can help you with this. You didn't call the lottery office yet, right?"
Grace breathed in deeply, and exhaled slowly, trying to calm her nerves, and still trying to take in that she had won, one of the largest lotteries that Montana has ever had. "I still don't know how to react... if I should be jumping for joy, scream in excitement, or even cry? I'm still in shock over this, but no... I never called them. I wanted you to see it first, and for you to see if I was possibly hallucinating."
"Good, because, first you need to hire an attorney, and I still think you should call Antonio." Ethan felt excited for her, and felt if anyone deserved it, it was her.
Grace still wanted to surprise them, and wanted to repay Antonio for everything he had done for her when she first came to town. She sat on Ethan's lap thinking about it, and sighed "Maybe you're right. I should just call, and see what he says."
"I can call him right now if you would like?" he asked, kissing her neck.
"Sure, might as well."
Ethan called Antonio, asking for him to come, and meet him at the office. A couple hours later Antonio finally showed up, he walked in the office and was surprised to see Grace sitting in the chair, and thought that something was wrong. "Everything OK?" Antonio asked worried.
"Everything is just fine." Ethan said, grinning "We have some questions for you, and was curious as to what your thoughts would be."
Antonio looked at both Grace, and Ethan with a questionable look, until Ethan handed him Grace's lottery ticket. "What's this?"
Grace smirked, stood up, and walked over to Antonio "Don't say anything to Sadie, I want to be the one to tell her."
"Tell her what?"
"I bought this ticket the other day, and when I checked the numbers this morning, they all matched." she said excitedly, feeling like she could cry.
"We know we need an attorney, and our question to you out of curiosity, is this something you would be able to handle, or do you know of a good attorney that we should contact?" Ethan asked, grabbing the ticket out of Antonio's hand, and sat down at his desk.
Antonio looked at Grace in shock. "You won the lottery?"
Grace shook her head fast, smiling away "I did, I can't believe it! I have never been so lucky in my life, not like this."
Antonio knew he could do this, he didn't want another attorney representing them, and for Grace to be spending money on someone she didn't have to, as well as making a profit off them. He let them both know he would be their attorney, and explained to not say anything to anyone, or to contact the lottery office.
"I'll get all the paperwork drawn up, then I'll call the lottery office myself on your behalf."
"Thank you." Grace said, giving Antonio a hug.
Later that night, Grace couldn't hide it any longer, she got the kids all dressed, and ready to leave. She wanted to fill Sadie in, and to let her know she would be sharing her winnings with them.
Once they got to Antonio's, Ethan walked inside without knocking "Hello, hello, hello... anyone home?" he called out. Luca, and Lilliana were excited to see Ethan, and ran over to him hugging him. "I'll bet grandma could use some help carrying in the babies, do you two think you can help?"
"Of course, we can." Lilliana said as she put her shoes on.
"Thank you." he grinned, rubbing the tops of their heads.
While Grace pulled Sadie to the side to give her the good news, Antonio and Ethan went downstairs to talk, and to have a drink.
Grace sat on the couch next to Sadie, and was shaking. She didn't know how to come out and say it, and turned her head towards the kids, watching them play, while thinking about how to tell her she won five hundred million dollars. With a smile, she turned toward Sadie. "I have some news to tell you."
Sadie's eyes got wide, and looked at her surprised "You're pregnant again?"
"Nooo..." she giggled "That's what Ethan asked too... anyway, I did something the other day, and never thought anything would come out of it."
Sadie tilted her head to the side, looking at her confused "What would that be?"
"I bought a lottery ticket, and won... I won Sadie; I won the big jackpot!"
"What?"
"I won the five hundred-million-dollar jackpot... can you believe it?"
Sadie's heart dropped, and started sweating. She had to shake her head, not believing what she just heard. "I'm sorry, what did you just say?"
"I know it sounds crazy, and I still can't believe it myself. Antonio said he would help me, and would have the papers drawn up for me, you, Antonio, as well as all the kids."
"What? What do you mean me, Antonio, and the kids?"
"I want all of you to get something out of it... I'm sharing it all with you, Antonio, and the kids."
Sadie couldn't believe it, and gave her a big hug; she couldn't believe her mother actually won the jackpot. She felt this was something she deserved, and explained to her they didn't need any of the money. She wanted her to enjoy it, and explained she, and Antonio had enough money, and didn't need to take any of that away from her. "Don't be silly, you keep your money, we don't need anything. I'm set, and my kids are set. You need to be set, as well as my siblings. Seriously... worry about yourself, your kids, and Ethan. We're fine!" Sadie assured her, squeezing her tight.
"Sadie..."
"Mom... seriously, we don't need any money, I won't take it."
For the next month, Antonio worked on Grace's paperwork, and helped with figuring out what to do with her winnings. Despite what Sadie told her, she still wanted to gift them, and her grandkids money from her.
Antonio contacted the lottery office, and had Grace come forward to claim her winnings. She walked into the lottery office, with Antonio, and Ethan showing them her ticket, and claiming her winnings. After they verified her ticket, her picture was taken, and was awarded with her winnings.
Sadie wasn't thrilled when she, Antonio, and her kids received their checks, but felt grateful anyway. For the next year, Ethan, and Grace had a house built that she designed on her own, and with all seven kids having their own rooms. She fenced in the back yard, and added a huge playground for the kids to go out, and play whenever they wanted.
In the meantime, Grace decided to have her tubes tied, she didn't want any more kids at her age, and Ethan was content with what they had. He finally had everything he always wanted, and often visited Harlow's grave, thanking her at each visit. He still believed, and was persistent she was the one who helped him get everything he wanted in life.

Sadie was getting ready for Antonio's surprise fortieth birthday party she had planned, and suddenly felt sick. She bolted to the bathroom, emptying out her stomach, and shook her head "Oh God... not again." she moaned with her head hanging over the toilet. All she kept envisioning, was her pregnant again. She knew Antonio would be happy if she was, especially since had been talking a lot about wanting another one, something she wasn't too keen on.
She picked up the phone, and called her mom, asking if she could pick up a pregnancy test before coming over. Sadie sighed, after hearing Grace laugh, "It's not funny mom, I was hoping to have a good time tonight."
"You can still have a good time, just no drinking if you are." Grace giggled "I thought you were on birth control?"
"I was, but unfortunately I was having issues, and was told I had to have it removed." Grace couldn't stop giggling, and told her not to worry, that she would pick one up.
Antonio was running late at the office, his client was taking longer than he had expected, and continued asking questions about his case, questions that Antonio already had gone over with his client. Antonio kept checking his watch, knowing if he didn't leave soon, Sadie would have his ass. She told him before he left that morning, he was not allowed to work late, and expected him to be at the restaurant by seven, no ifs, ands, or buts about it, and no excuses on why he would be late.
"Samuel, as much as I would like to talk more about your case, and to answer all the questions you would like to know, I will have to have you come in again tomorrow. My wife is waiting for me at our favorite restaurant right now, and she insisted that I not be late. I have twenty minutes to be there before she asks for a divorce." he sighed, while adjusting his tie, and sweating that he was going to disappoint her.
"Oh, I'm sorry, what do you have going on?" Samuel asked, still trying to delay him.
Antonio stood up, and walked towards the door "It's my fortieth birthday, and she was taking me out to dinner. Between you, and I she doesn't hide anything very well, and I have a feeling it's a surprise party." he chuckled "She was very persistent on me not being late, and I'm sure that's why."
Antonio finally got his client to leave, agreeing to meet again the next day. He quickly ran to his car, and sped off. He was happy that when he pulled up to the restaurant, that he didn't have Ethan's luck about getting pulled over. He had a feeling his suspicions were most likely correct when he noticed Ethan's vehicle sitting in the parking lot. Ethan was standing at the doorway, when he saw Antonio start walking towards the door, and warned everyone that he was coming in.
"SURPRISE!" Everyone yelled as Antonio walked inside the restaurant. Sadie walked towards him, giving him a kiss. "Sorpresa Tesoro!"
Antonio kissed her back passionately "I knew it." he moaned into her mouth, smiling. Antonio pulled away, and smiled at everyone "Thank you, everyone." he tells them, after wishing him a happy birthday.
Ethan walked over to Antonio, and patted him on the back "Don't let aging get you down, it's too hard to get up again." he joked, chuckling "Don't forget, age is like underwear, it creeps up on you." he grinned.
"Thanks for the tips." Antonio chuckled.
"Just think, your one age closer to getting that senior discount." Ethan laughed, handing him a glass of bourbon. "Happy birthday, brother."
Antonio started making his rounds, saying hello, and thanking everyone for joining him on his birthday. He then made his way back to Sadie, and hugged her "Thanks for doing this."
She smiled "You're welcome, you old fart." she giggled. "I'm only kidding." she says, when he frowned.
"Just think, I'm not really forty, I'm eighteen with twenty-two years of experience."
"Nice try." she giggled, nudging him.
After they ate their dinner, Antonio stood up, and headed to the bar with Ethan. "Something is up." Antonio said to Ethan, as they waited for the bartender to come over to them.
Ethan leaned back, wide eyed "Can't you wait until you get home, and why are you telling me this? You should be saying that to Sadie." Ethan grinned.
Antonio smacked him on the back of the head, "Not that you big goon, I mean something is up with Sadie, she's been acting weird since I got here, and she refused champagne when I offered to pour her some."
Ethan pretended he didn't know what he was talking about, and brushed him off. "Maybe she doesn't feel like drinking, or getting drunk, it's your night to party, not her."
"I know her all too well, and if it's what I think it is, then it'll be a nice birthday present."
They ordered drinks, and walked back over to Sadie, and Grace. Antonio handed Sadie a drink, and watched her set it down, causing him to raise an eyebrow.
"That's twice now."
"What do you mean?" Sadie asked confused.
"Twice you avoided a drink that I offered you."
"I just don't feel like drinking, that's all."
Antonio wasn't buying it, the more he thought about it, and thought about how Ethan brushed him off at the bar, he knew exactly what that meant, and walked up behind Sadie, wrapping his arms around her stomach, and began rubbing it softly. "Sei di nuovo incinta, vero?" he asked lowly in her ear, tickling her ear.
"Why would you think that?"
She turned around, and wrapped her arms around him, trying to look at him with a serious look. "You don't think I know you by now?" he asked.
She pulled him in for a kiss, then leaned into his ear, and whispered. Antonio grinned, picked her up bridal style, and called out for everyone to quiet down for a minute, that he had something he had to say.
"First of all, I would like to thank you once again for coming out here tonight, and celebrating my birthday, when all of you could be out doing your own things. I would also like to thank my beautiful wife here, for planning this, and even though it may have been a surprise party, I have to say, I did have my suspicions that she was planning something like this. For the record, she doesn't hide things from me very well." he laughed, leaning down to her lips, kissing them. He then looked up, and grinned again "But there was something that I wasn't expecting tonight... she just shared some wonderful, exciting news with me moments ago, and now, I would like to share the news with all of you."
"If you both have to pee, the bathroom is right over there." Ethan yelled out, pointing over to the restrooms. "You fricken old timers!"
Antonio, and Sadie laughed, he set her down, and held onto her hand "No Ethan, that's not what I was going to say." he said looking down, tracing his lips.
"Sadie mi ha appena informato che ci aspettiamo di nuovo."
"Damnit Antonio! Fucking speak where we can all understand what the fuck you're saying!" Ethan yelled out, even though he knew what he announced, being he was with Grace when she had him stop at the store for her. He didn't know what the results were, but figured it out when Antonio said that Sadie was acting strange.
Antonio pulled Sadie against him, holding onto her tight, and smiled "What I said was, Sadie just informed me that we're expecting again."
("Sorpresa Tesoro" - Surprise honey)
("Sei di nuovo incinta, vero" - you're pregnant again, aren't you.)
