Chapter 24: Incident (part 2)

Ben’s POV:
When we get back to class, we stopped at the door because Tucker is opposite us like inches away. He gave me a bouquet of roses. Like red, fresh roses. I was frozen, with my jaw dropped. And Kirt was mumbling to himself, I couldn’t hear much what he said. . “Ben, this is for you. I hope you liked it.”, said Tucker with a devilish grin on his face. At this point, my heart was just like shattered in pieces, you people would assume I was depressed, but it was like like pulling an arrow and stabbed it. And I peeked into Kirt, his face was in anger and I could see his bloodlust. I turned around and looked at Tucker again.
Ben, keep cool, just give him a freaking thank you and escape.
“O…oh, thanks. You don’t have to do this. I… I can’t…”. I was about to say more, but the bell cut me off. So we quickly went back our seat, then I turned to Kirt and signaled him: “Keep cool, we’re in class, remember?”. He then calmed down. But when class were still in progress, Kirt just leaned his head on my shoulder, sometimes, he hid his arm and made his fingers on my waist, pulling me closer, a bit. Later, he gave me a note that read: “Hey, I’m really mad at that freaking stalker. Please don’t talk to him.”. Then I took my ball-point pen and started writing. “Kirt, not now, we’ll talk later during lunch.”. I passed the note and he took it, he read it and gave me a thumbs up. And finally, after a long, boring Geography lesson, the bell rang and we got our lunchboxes to eat. And out of nowhere (Like Girl from Nowhere), Tucker went to us and sat down. He got his lunch and asked Kirt: “Hey, do you have a moment. I’d like to talk to Ben.”. Kirt made a frown but he had kept his cool. He got out of his seat and looked at me signaling: “Don’t worry, I’ll handle this.”. Then he went away.
Conversation:
T: Hey, Ben.
B: O-oh. Hi! What’s got into you?
T: Nothing. I just love to talk to you, you know!
B: I see, go ahead.
T: Do you know when I said that I have fallen in love for you.
B: Uh huh!
T: That is the truth.
B: Oh, I see.
T: And do you want to hang out with me, like a date?
B: Well, Tucker. I really appreciate about that, but I already have someone else.
T: Y-you do?
B: Yeah. I’m sorry, Tucker. I guess you’re not lucky that way. But there’s plenty of people suit you.
T: Oh, I get it.
B: Well, if you excuse me, I’ll just have lunch with my squad, would you like to join with us?
T: No thanks! Go ahead.
B: Alright. See ya!
Well, that was a bit rude on him for me, but I guess he understood.
After lunch, I heard gun shots, and a screaming voice which was familiar to me. “BEN MILLER. I’M GOING TO LOOK FOR YOU. YOU’RE DEAD MEAT NOW! IF YOU DON’T F*CKING COME DOWN AT ONCE, I’M GONNA KILL EVERYONE AT SCHOOL.”, this voice belonged to Chris’s son, Hector. Then the school principle had made a warning speech: “Code Red! Code Red! This is not a drill! This is not a drill! Please close the window, door, and the lights. I repeat. This is not a drill! Over!”.
