Kirt’s POV:
Well, ever since Ben was my friend, I never saw him wearing colourful clothes, instead he wore black clothes like a goth or a widow. He couldn’t change the style as Black was his favourite colour, although his house was shimmering by gold, white and other colours. And he couldn’t stand his own school uniform because the shirt was white, so he wore a black sweater to make it satisfied, oh and his designer hag was also black, but I didn’t think black suited him at all. So I decided I would plan a surprise for him on his 13th birthday. But I’m out of ideas so I called Quinn, since she’s a good advicer.
Quinn’s POV:
I was doing my homework while I got a call all of a sudden and it was Kirt, that was strange for me because he would never call anyone beside Ben, so I picked up my phone and called him back:
K: Hey!
Q: Hi. It’s strange you never all anyone, except Ben. So why are you calling me?
K: Well, you know Ben’s birthday is coming up in a few days?
Q: Oh yeah, right! So that’s why you’re calling me. Tell me, what do you want?
K: Well, the thing is Ben always wear black clothes. Have you ever notice that?
Q: Yeah, he said black was his favourite so he wore them everyday, he never wore something different like besides black, there are other colours. So maybe you could buy him some clothes but something colourful that made him like them in a second.
K: Oh yeah, right! Thanks but I’m not good at clothing. You know, I’m really not a fan of fashion or clothing.
Q: Maybe just ask him? Since you both are best friends.
K: Right. Thanks again.
Q: No probs! I just need to get ready to buy a gift for him oh and also invite our friends as well, we would plan a big surprise for him.
K: Thanks Quinn, someday you might be useful to me.
Q: What?
K: Nothing.
Q: O..kay! Well, I had to go buy some grocery for mum. See ya on Ben’s house.
K: Of course. Bye!
Kirt was right, we should do something to surprise him on his birthday, Ben had always been helping us a lot, so maybe a party for him would make us to repay him after all the times he was with us, oh and I had to thank Kirt to remind me for that. Who knew one day we would have freaked out if we had forgotten his birthday.
Ben’s POV:
Well, I was usually busy with making money and doing some work that I had almost forgotten my own special day. And Kirt was avoiding me these days, I wonder what’s got into his mind? He always would watch me working on something or hugging me, and we would tutor each other but now he wasn’t there in his usual spot. I didn’t mind and continue working. But I bursted out giggling a little because my heart said he was planning something special to me.
