fourteen ; kim jongdae

"jongdae! wake your ass up!" chanyeol screams, shaking me by my shoulders.

"can you shout any louder?" i mumble, rubbing my eyes.

"i don't know, i haven't tried. let's see."

"NO!" baekhyun yells, covering his ears.

"we should go downstairs. i think breakfast is ready." chanyeol says, looking at his reflection in the mirror.

"are you examining your bald spot?" baekhyun snorts.

chanyeol rolls his eyes, "i have an appointment with the dermatologist next week."

"wow, chanyeol! you're using big words!" i gasp, clapping. "good for you!"

"i'm not a baby! stop treating me like one!" chanyeol screams.

"you're my baby, though." baekhyun winks.

"WHAT, NO. YOU'RE GROSS!" chanyeol continues to shout until a knock is heard.

"will you guys please lower your voices? i'm trying to play stardoll."

"yixing, nobody cares about you and your ugly stardoll." i say through closed doors.

"i'm unfriending you."

"yixing, wait!" i say, opening the door to grab his arm. "i'm sorry."

"will you guys just come eat breakfast so we can leave?" junmyeon groans.

"coming!"

"get in losers, we're going shopping." sehun says from inside one of the two black range rovers.

"sehun, you forgot your mask." jongin says, getting into the car.

"did you bring it?"

"no." jongin scoffs. "get it yourself."

about twenty minutes later, we were all set to go. our first stop was the mall and luckily, paparazzi wasn't there to notice us with our cool disguises. by cool disguises, i mean face masks with over-sized hoodies and caps. we picked the least busiest day of the week which was a monday morning. adults were at work and people were at school, so the mall was practically empty.

"let's go to victoria's secret." yixing suggested, everyone turning to him and shaking their heads. "but, i need inspiration for my sta--"

"yixing, if you talk about your stupid stardoll one more time, i will deactivate your account and make you suffer." junmyeon threats, pinching the bridge of his nose as yixing holds onto the older's arm.

"p-please, i'm sorry! i won't talk about stardoll again!"

"good, now let go of me." junmyeon huffs, pushing yixing off of him.

"let's go buy underwear because somebody keeps stealing mine." jongin says, glaring at sehun.

"your undies are lit, though!" sehun yells, a bit too loud. "i mean, come on, who has boxer briefs with pizza printed on them? only you, kai!"

"enough! let's just go buy underwear." junmyeon sighs, already tired of us.

after buying clothes and undergarments, we decided to just walk around the mall. chanyeol kept repeating that he wanted to go to the disney store to "buy some things for his niece", kyungsoo wanted to go to spencer's to "examine the people that shop there", yixing stopped at victoria's secret and sneakily took photos of the models (chanyeol tagging along), and i just wanted to go to the food court.

"should we go to the food court?" i ask nobody in particular.

"yeah, that seems like a good idea." junmyeon replies, giving me a thumbs up.

"do they have bomb-ass pussy there?" sehun snorted.

"i was going to buy you boba tea, but i have changed my mind." our leader says, handing his bags to sehun as he walks faster.

"oh, shit! wait up! i'm sorry!"

we soon arrived at the food court and got whatever we wanted. baekhyun and i went to a cafe and ordered two coffees.

"okay, which one is mine?" i ask.

"does it matter?" baekhyun replies, trying to read the barista's ugly writing on the cups.

"well, ye--"

before i could finish, baekhyun took a sip of one of the coffees, then taking a sip out of the other.

"they both taste different. you got yours with soy, right?" he asks, taking more sips of the coffees.

"no, that's what i was gonna tell you, you idiot!" i shout, receiving some looks.

"good thing i took my lactase pills before i came here." baekhyun smirks, sticking his tongue out and handing me my coffee. "here you go."

"i hate you."

we sat down at a random table, watching the people walking by. there was a girl who walked by, wiping her eyes with her sleeves and covering her face. she probably got dumped or something.

"poor girl. she probably got dumped or something." baekhyun speaks, drinking his coffee.

"did you just read my mind?" i widen my eyes, him doing the same action.

"telepathy." he whispers, high-fiving me.

we were out for literally the entire day. after going to the mall, we went to the lake and stayed there. it was really boring, but it was kind of soothing in a way. arriving home was truly a blessing. after getting ready for bed, i decided to check instagram. this new account was so dry, so i logged out. i signed into my previous one, forgetting to delete it at the time i made my new account, and checked my newsfeed. i was aware that if i double tapped or commented, then minji would be able to see and i would be exposed. i checked my messages and it was filled with minji's messages, recent ones to be exact.
