Third Person POV

The days progressed, and soon two months went by. It was now winter, and the Hamiltons (and Schuyler) were stuck inside. Until:

Alex's POV

"Kids! Let's all go out! We can go get pizza!" Aunt Rebecca called through the halls. You could hear some okays, and soon everyone was downstairs, tying their shoes and zipping up their jackets.

"Lizzy!" she called

"Yeah?" Eliza asked, coming downstairs after hearing her name

"Would you like to come, too?"

"No, I'm okay. You all go and have fun. I have laundry to finish" Eliza responded, and started walking towards Maddie, who was upset that she couldn't tie her shoes

"Okay... if you say so" Aunt Rebecca said, and soon we were all out the door

The kids were eating dessert when Aunt Rebecca phone rang. I was watching the kids, because Aunt Rebecca went to the bathroom, and Uncle Mike went up to go pay. I got a look at the caller ID:

"Lizzy"  it read

I answered.

"Ms. Rebecca?!" I heard

"Eliza? Are you ok?" I asked

"Oh, Alex, hi. Where's Rebecca?" she asked in a panicked voice

"Bathroom. Why?"

"Alex, when they come back, tell them to get here as fast as they can" she said

"Why?!" I asked, worried

"The whole downstairs is flooding, and somebody got into the house".
