The Beginning Of Our Adventure

Third Person

Alexander Hamilton sighed in happiness, pleased with the fact that he was out of that terrible island, Nevis. Now he was in New York! New friends, new opportunities, a new life!

He was moving in with his aunt, Rebecca Hamilton, his uncle, Mike Hamilton, and his three nieces, April, Miranda and Madeline (twins), and one nephew, Jake.

He walked off the boat and finally, after years of waiting, stepped on American ground.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth Schuyler sighed too, but not in a good way. She couldn't sleep lately, and she's been on her feet all day to distract her from everything happening in the outside world. She had been cleaning all day, and she has to go pick up the twins from school.

No, she doesn't have kids. She's only 20, after all. She's never met anyone in her life that actually loves her like that.

She works as a maid ever since her father kicked her out. I mean, she needed to find work somewhere! She is a live at home maid, might I add. She actually has a nice room, and bosses who are very kind to her. Rebecca and Mike, her bosses, trust her with their lives. After all, its been about 4-5 years!

She checked the time.

2:53

"Shit " she muttered, and grabbed her coat. Time to pick up the kids!

Alex's POV

I made my way to the Hamilton household. I knocked on the door, and a girl about 13 years old answered.

"Yes?" she asked

"April! Did you open the door? Who is it?" a voice called out from inside the house

The girl, April, ignored it. She just looked at me.

"Hi. I'm Alexander. I'm supposed to be moving in with you?" I said uncertain. I knew I had a niece named April as well, but maybe this was the wrong house?

The girl's face lit up as she heard his name. "You mean, Uncle Alexander?!" she exclaimed

"Well, are you April Hamilton?" I asked. She nodded her head, grinning widely.

"Mom! Dad! Mir! Maddie! Jake! Lizzy! Come here!" April yelled.

Soon a whole trample of adults came by, kids following.

"April?! Are you okay?!" the older woman yelled

"Yeah! Look who it is!" April exclaimed. "Its Uncle Alexander!"

They all gasped.

"YAY!!!" one little girl laughed, and clung on to my leg. Then, another girl, about my age, bent down to try and pry her off

"I'm so sorry" she laughed, and finally got the girl off of my leg.

"I-Its okay" I stuttered.

But then she stood up, and I was in awe.

She was beautiful. She had long, brown hair in a ponytail, these huge, chocolate eyes, and this stunning smile.

Wait- I can't think like this. She's probably a cousin or something. Dammit!

"Hello Alexander!" the older woman waved to me. "I'm Rebecca. Or, Aunt Rebecca in your case. This is your uncle, Mike. This is Miranda and Madeline, the twins, April, the oldest, Jake, the middle child, and Lizzy!" she said, referring to everyone.

"Hey! Nice to meet you all!" I said politely.

The girl my age- Lizzy...- walks up to me.

"Do you want me to show you your room?" she asked

"Uh, s-sure!" I said, and followed her into the house. We walked upstairs, and soon we made it to the bedroom down the hall (NOT SORRY) .

"Well... here's your room!" she said. "Would you like me to unpack your things?"

"It's okay, I got it. Is there anything I should be... prepared for?" I asked

"Well... April is an amazing girl, but you know, she's a teen... you know how they get. Jake is overall a good kid. He gets in trouble sometimes, and he's really into sports. So don't be surprised if you hear yelling or the sports channel blaring. The twins, well, they're twins. What else can I say? Oh! And dinner starts at 6:30. I'm going down to make it. Call me if you need anything!" she said, and walked out of the room.
