Chapter 24 DON'T CLEAN!
TAEHYUNG POV:
I had managed to drink myself out cold with a few bruises when I woke up from a crusty stained couch. Jin walking around me, forcing water and hangover medicine down my throat. Memory was a definite blur. What even happened last night?
"You were crazy drinking last night, I didn't know the crowd would encourage you to poison yourself in a matter of minutes. Sorry hyung." Jin laid down a bowl of soup while pushing empty beer cans to the floor. Pity written all over his face while kicking away someone's pants.
"I don't understand, what.... happened?" Walking past the two, y/n held a white garbage bag while she treaded on in a tired baby blue skirt. Memories flew past my mind: The look in her eyes when I left her, the unidentified man that approached her, my inability to come to her side. Flinging my feet off the couch, I ran up to her despite my massive headache pulsing through my head.
"Y/n! Are you okay? Are you hurt? What happened? Did he touch you?" Grabbing her hands I stared at her wide eyed as she returned the same expression accept with confusion mixed into her arched brows. Why is she confused?
"I'm... fine? And you obviously... are not." Jin walked over and grabbed the bag from her hand before walking away.
"What did I tell you about cleaning? Don't you understand I hired a maid service to come soon? In what other language should I tell you woman?"
"But—but the guy— I saw him take you into the closet!" I pushed on attempting to squeeze any information I could from her. Her brows shifted, uncertain how to respond to my inquires.
"Don't worry about me. I'm fine. I'm not helpless. Why do you always think I'm this helpless girl that constantly needs to be watched like a prisoner?" I clicked my mouth shut. I guess I was being overprotective in a way. But it was my job to make sure she—
"NE PAS NETTOYER!" Jin threw a towel from the kitchen, aimed at her head. She avoided the blow by bending down to pick up an empty wine bottle.
"We have a lot of studying to do Taehyung. I can't study with our condo a mess like this." At those words, I bent down to help her. My brain cursing my quick action as it hammered away.
"НЕ УБИРАЕТЕ!" Jin shrieked, changing his languages as fast as he was able to change his tone.
Before I was able to grab the limp wet towel, y/n took it from under my fingers and threw it across the room, hitting her target smack dab in the face. Jin gave up as he poured himself a cup of whiskey, mumbling incoherent words about disrespecting his beautiful face. Looking back to y/n I smiled.
Damn. My hangover must be worse than I thought.

It had been exactly four and a half weeks since my birthday party. A day after, Jungmin's parent's picked her up and with tears and screaming. They finally peeled her off of Jungkook who had babysat her throughout my party. My father too had visited me, walking into our condo and threw some keys at me with a chiseled smile after we had finished our cleaning.
"Happy Birthday son." Was what he said. I remember looking down at those brand new Audi keys wondering what he wanted this time. "Take her for a spin... and make sure you post about it."
Ahh. There it was. Always gotta post to the world what he has: what his money could buy. But it was normal, I just did as I was told obediently. At least I was getting something in return.
I remember y/n walking around innocently. Bowing to him in respect once they greeted. Do you give respect to everyone or just certain people y/n?
I watched her walk out of the bathroom from our living room chair. I sensed a weight on her shoulders as she trudged towards the kitchen. Will you fall for me? Have you already fallen for me? How long until I could really have you under my spell?
Y/n. The girl who was able to guard her heart even while I had her physically in my possession. In my bed. How did she do it?
She grabbed a glass of water and sat absent minded at the kitchen counter. With her thoughts elsewhere, I was able to study her body without getting caught.
Her thin legs trembled a little and her hair a shuffled mess. I got up ready to leap to her side and figure out what going on before her words flashed into vision.
"Why do you always think I'm this helpless girl that constantly needs to be watched like a prisoner?"
I huffed. Eyes darkening. She had been more distant after that. Closing a door on me. Only making me want to open her doors even wider.
I walked over to the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water for myself. Inspecting her even closer. She was hiding something 100%.
Her forehead glistened with specks of sweat and her eyes dull. Somehow color vanished from her being and what was left a black and white human that seemed to lose all means of motivation.
She was... sick? And... depressed?
She didn't want my help and it hurt to know that. To feel unwanted. I could call her blonde stick in the ass friend Lisa for help. But that would go against every reason for me being here.
Walking to the bathroom, I turned on the lights. The moment my eyes met the toilet something clicked in my brain.
She forgot to flush.
And inside floated what I could only imagine stressed her to the fullest with her small weak body.
Puke. And a lot of it.
