Chapter 19 Walmart
You would think that in that moment both Taehyung and I would stick our brains together and think of some ridiculous excuse that would somehow make sense in the long run, but no. We just stood there dumbfounded by the innocent child who showed us our reflection through her large, glassy doe eyes. Then it clicked. I could fix this.
"Lisa, I need to talk to you." Grabbing her hand I practically pulled her soul off that chair before running into my room and shutting the door. "Listen, there was a reason I called you here." I whispered wiping my sticky sweat.
"I'm going to tell you everything," I already saw her intrigued eyes glisten, "BUT, you cannot tell anyone or anything. Not even your own pillow is allowed to know this." The curiosity in her eyes only multiplied the more I spoke making my worry multiply.
"Okay, the other day Taehyung kind of... well I don't know how to explain it... he made a confession." A loud Pringle crunch exploded through the room and her eyes got wider. "And, at first I kind of avoided it, but I started getting more and more comfortable around him the more I realized he wasn't really going to hurt me." Lisa hummed understanding my words and shoved another Pringle into her mouth. "And today we were... well playing around," I gulped watching Lisa's dark smirk grow, "And I'm not sure how I honestly ended up getting pinned to the wall, but before I knew it... IwaskissinghislipsandmakingoutonthetablethenIsomehowendeduponthecouchandthenonhisbed."
Lisa stopped chewing her Pringles with her jaw hanging open.
...
"Lis?"
"Um. So you said my pillow can't know?" she calmly whispered getting up from the floor. "Yea..." I began worrying for her mental health. "How about your pillow?" she said.
"My pillow?"
Before I could get an answer to my question she was already hysterically screaming into my pillow regardless the amount of noise created. "SHUSH." I practically tore my tonsils trying to whisper that.
From a far distance away I could hear something drop in the kitchen where a probably very worresome Taehyung stood. She stopped for a spare moment to look at me before diving back into the pillow to give yet another high pitched scream. I rolled my eyes at her dramatic self, questioning the Gods above why they gave me this one.
Finally, she halted her horrid screams and threw my pillow to the side, grabbing my hands while she rambled with questions. "How did it feel? Was it your first time? Was he even any good? HOW ARE YOU WALKING?" Again, I rolled my eyes, "We didn't sleep together."
She let go of my hands and sat straight up on the bed with eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "Then what did you guys do? You guys were making out on the couch and suddenly decided to build a fort on the bed?"
"Actually yes, that's exactly what we decided." Lisa and I turned our heads towards the door to see Taehyung leaning against the door frame with a bold smirk on his face.
"oh."
"Y/N, we need to go to Walmart with Jung-min. Can you please come with?" Taehyung's low rumbling voice was hard to ignore. And plus, I owe him. Right? "Yep. That's my job."
"Great! Oh and Lisa," he rasped, "Don't worry, I am excellent." He smirked my way, as if that was going to comfort me.
"Okay, I'm calling Jesus." Picking up her phone she walked out of the room, purposely bumping into his shoulder for an extra affect.
Opening my closet, I pulled out a hoodie and examined the greasy stain I made an eternity ago. Clicking my tongue in annoyance I threw that option on the bed while looking for a cleaner one.
"Y/N, you know I'm still here." I painfully turned my head in the direction of the door to find Taehyung still leaning on the wall outside my room.
Oh..
Being alone with him brought back all those confusing memories that I still didn't know how to approach. The kisses that we had, the event on the bed that I'm sure would have led to something much more if I had not stopped it.
I innocently averted my eyes back to my closet where I pulled out another hoodie which had a large hole on the elbow. Immediately memories of my clumsy scooter accident filled my mind forcing a chuckle out of me.
"Listen, we need to talk about this." Taehyung breathed heavy.
Oh yea. Taehyung.
"What about?" I threw the hoodie on the bed, continuing my search through my closet.
"Y/N, you get A's in your classes, I'm sure you're a smart girl." He turned his head for a moment to check on Jung-min before returning his attention to me.
I see what he did there. That was the nice version of, are you stupid?
"Well. I don't really want to talk." I blankly said. He sighed and took off his hoodie, throwing the large, warm fabric within my reach. With a smile I gladly put it on.
Pulling it over my head and fixing my standing hairs, I looked over to Taehyung, but my smile disappeared when I realized he wasn't there anymore.

It was an awkward drive, especially with Jung-min in the back constantly referring to Taehyung and I as her parents. It made me wonder why she was so obsessed with the idea of playing "family" in the first place.
"We're here." Taehyung heaved parking the car. "I'll get Jung-min," I mumbled. It was the most I said the entire car ride, not to mention that I pushed him away without a word when he attempted to put Jung-min in her car seat.
"I want to buy pink bunny ears and more carrots!" She screeched jumping out of the car. She grabbed my hand and started to walk towards the entrance, a couple seconds later she linked her small hand to Taehyung's.
Setting her in the cart was a struggle, no matter how much our chemistry screamed to avoid each other we had to become a team. I immediately grew a new found appreciation for single parents after struggling to do it with a partner.
"Mommy! The carrots!" Jung-min screamed much to loud. I lazily walked over to look at the different carrots while Taehyung kept watch over Jung-min and the cart a couple feet away.
"He's so handsome, and seems like such a great father, you must be so lucky!" My ears perked up from the sound of a old lady holding the same carrots I was holding.
"Father?" I questioned looking at her. She was slightly shorter than me, but her eyes screamed kindness and her voice was soothing like sweet honey.
"Yes, but are you really a couple? When he looks at you it doesn't feel quite right."
Those words rang in my ears for a couple seconds before a burning sensation flooded through me. What was she saying? And why did it affect me so much?
"Actually we're not-" thinking about everything we've been through, it's not like I understand what we even are. How could I explain it to her if I can't even explain it myself? "It's kind of complicated at the moment."
"Ohh, I understand. Well I can see he wants it to work out too. Keep him, he's a good boy." She smiled, and walked away without another word.
Good boy? Hearing those words and remembering my first time being at a bar with him made my eyes roll to the back of my brain.
Finally after getting all the necessities that Jung-min and Taehyung "needed" we walked over to the cashier and started placing our TA-TA plushies, crowns, and bunny related items on the conveyer belt. Standing to the side I started to distract our child with a game while he payed.
"Hahah, you're so funny! Are the stuffed animals for you?" An annoying voice sliced through my ears making my head turn a full one hundred and eighty degrees to see a girl talking to Taehyung.
"Yea, it can get pretty lonely at night." He responded much too seductively while handing her his debit card.
Behind me, the old woman from before stood in line with her mouth open in shock. I watched the cashier with her shirt much too open, slip a small paper with quite a few digits on it when she returned his card. Licking her pasty pink lips and looking Taehyung up and down she practically raped his figure with her tacky glittered up eyes. Why did I have the urge to stop whatever this was. Don't ask me, but it needed to stop and it needed to stop now.
Walking over to his direction, I snaked my arm around his neck and leaned in close to his ear, making sure my breath reached his neck and layering my body enough on his to make his testosterone go a little crazy.
With a seductive smile I said, "Baby, Mrs. Kim is getting bored over here. Let's get home a little faster?"
The utter shock on the girl's face poured satisfaction into mine. The way her plump, fake lips cracked her smile in half after my stunt was the best thing that happened today.
From behind me I could hear the old woman whisper me some words of reassurance, "Atta girl.."
But the fight wasn't over yet, looking up to Taehyung our eyes met and I could practically see his tongue tied in a knot. He was completely, undeniably speechless. This power that I had over him, it was starting to get addicting. I grabbed the paper from his hand and with a smile put it into my bra. His chained eyes followed, attempting to look down my shirt, but I quickly fixed his hoodie I was wearing in place.
"Thank you for your help." I hissed to her and grabbed the cart with Jung-min who had carrots already stuffed in her mouth and started towards the exit. Taehyung was still frozen in place, but let his eyes follow my every move. It took a couple seconds, but he finally caught up with me.
"Okay okay okay. I have a theory." Taehyung finally untied his tongue. "Hmmm, alright let's hear it." I hummed walking through the parking lot.
"Did... somebody get jealous?" He peered over at me as I stopped at our car.
"Yea, she probably was so jealous," I snickered, "Can you open the car?" Unlocking the car he started shoving all the stuffed animals inside still with his eyebrows furrowed in place as I buckled Jung-min into her car seat. With everyone in the car, he started to back out still confused.
"Y/N. I mean were you jealous?"
Was I jealous? I can't say I was. And will not admit to that. Maybe it had something to do with keeping up with the lie I created with that old lady.
"Me? Jealous? Hahah. No way sir." Again he sat in silence for a couple of seconds before his eyes narrowed in on a thought.
"Then why did you step right into action? Even going as far to touch me. And you know that drives me insane." His hands gripped tighter onto the wheel.
Score. I drove him insane just as planned.
"Am I allowed to touch you whenever I want?" He stated braking the car hard.
"Well... no.. you're not..." I peeped quietly from the passenger seat.
"Then why are you allowed too?" He threw a side glare that finally made me understand his view point. How can I make this right?
"How about... every time I touch you, you can touch me..." My eyes bulged out of my head once my brain processed the words that came out of my mouth.
Taehyung's eyes bulged out of his head too once he registered my words and it didn't take long for a hot, deadly smirk to form on his face.
Did I say hot?
"Alright Y/N, then feel free to touch me as much as you'd like."
