Full summary: I never expect love, in any case, to come my way at all. When it came knocking on my door, I wasn't even ready to crack the door open.  I told myself to never fall for anyone to keep me from breaking but suddenly, he appeared, like a breath of fresh air, into my colorless world that once was filled with smoke. Kaitlyn McFadden is a typical dork. She does abnormal things. Her life mostly revolves around romance books, music, social online networks and her best friend, Cheryl Thompson, who is the leader of the 'Elites' group at school. She started a series of 'My confession' blogs, where she writes down her most truthful thoughts about people around her and posted it on her wordpress page under a faux name. One day, she received a reply from a anonymous telling he was impressed by her writings and whether he could direct message her to talk. Kaitlyn agreed. Once they got to know each other better, Kaitlyn shared with him all her secrets as he tells her all about his life. They grew to be best friends in the cyber world. 

At school, Kaitlyn had a huge crush on James Robert, a new coming kid in town. He was a cold ice cube. He didn't talk much, but his look was enough for all the girls at school, including Cheryl to fawn over him. Kaitlyn kept thinking she was so out of his league so she tried to push her feeling aside. Little did she know life already had a plan for her.
