3rd Person's POV

"So Sonia, is Professor Magnolia doing fine in Galar?" Chloe asked her fellow Elite Four.

Sonia's smile is beaming.

"Yes, she is, she's currently taking care of the Pokemon eggs from the breeders." Sonia replied.

"She's been taking care of Pokemon eggs now?" Ash asked in surprise, it was unexpected that the Professor Magnolia would do such thing.

"She is, just a month ago, she even built a large incubator enough for the Pokemon eggs to rest." Sonia replied happily.

Ash smiled as he reminisced the past while he was on Galar together with Chloe, they've met countless rivals and friends during their journey. There was even the time he was about to challenge the Galar Champion, Leon, when Chloe suggested not for him not to reveal himself.

Kanto and Alola's Champion are unknown to them due to some reason, that's what makes the future interesting.

The trio have now boarded a plane towards Galar, and it is now headed there in the meantime.

"Ah, finally! Galar Region! Good to be back." Said Sonia as she raised her hands, savoring the nostalgic feeling.

"Let's go, we'll be meeting her at Wedgehurst!" Sonia cheerfully stated as she picked up and tossed a pokeball up on the air, revealing her very own Corviknight, but instead of black coloring, it has this gray coating all around it's body, leaving only some black part below it's face.

Indeed it is a Shiny Corviknight.

Ash revealed his own Corviknight while Chloe let out her Altaria. The trio quickly went towards the town of Wedgehurst.

"By the way Sonia, after passing the research, what will you do?" Chloe asked out of nowhere.

"Me? Magnolia didn't left any task to do after this one so maybe I'm free, maybe I want to come with the both of you." Sonia said as she grinned.

Chloe looked at Ash, he knew the message and he nodded.

"I haven't had the time to bond with you guys so I guess this is the perfect time to do so." Sonia added.

Arriving at Wedgehurst, landing just in front the house of Professor Magnolia. They were greeted by the very own owner of the house.

"Sonia, glad you're ba- Oh Ash and Chloe! I see you've also accompanied her! It's been so long since we last met." Professor Magnolia was genuinely surprised at Ash and Chloe's presence.

"Come, I'll treat you to a cup of tea."

They all went in and proceeded to the topic, Sonia reported her findings on Anistar and Professor Magnolia understood it, either she may need further research or leave it as it is. While they're at it, they also visited the eggs Professor Magnolia's been taking care of.

"It's amazing." Chloe muttered as she gazed at the sanctuary full of Pokemon eggs.

Ash also noticed some rarer Pokemon eggs like Riolu and Ralts being placed in the incubator. He was satisfied that Professor Magnolia really took good care of the eggs.

After some further talks, they finally head out and bid goodbye to Professor Magnolia.

"So, what are we gonna do now?" Sonia asked.

"We may have to check out this town while were here, it'll still be a while before we decide on where to head next." Chloe suggested.

Although there is so many places Ash wanted to go, she was right about deciding where to go next, Ash still has no idea on what place to visit.

It's not everyday you can travel in a pace like that, there's still his duty about being a Champion.

"Though there's no really good spot here in Wedgehurst, maybe a little rest will do and we'll think about where to head next." Sonia said while scratching her head.

As they were about to walk, a rather large explosion occured few miles from where they are.

"What was that?"

Everyone halted including them as they heard that explosion, the three was curious about it.

"Do you think we should check it out?" Sonia asked.

"Do you have to ask?"

And with that, the three individually let out their flying type Pokemon and mounted them, heading towards the forest, letting the people watch them with awe.

Gary arrived in Galar, few days after their graduation, hoping to expand his research as he aims to become a Pokemon Professor, doing so requires more knowledge about Pokemon.

Galar was the place he had in mind due to that famous Dynamax and Gigantamax phenomenon, that was his aim, to study the nature of that special evolution.

Arriving at Galar, he quickly did his job and collected datas around the place, until he arrived at Wedgehurst, wherein the Professor Magnolia can be found, though he did not talked to her and just collected datas on his own.

Until he walked around the forest, noticing something odd, a rather suspicious machine can be found in the middle of a small clearing, surrounded by some people in black, wearing masks that covered their entire face.

"What is that thing doing?" Gary muttered to himself, as he was curious about that thing in front of him.

He analyzed further, moments later, he's eyes dilated when he finally understood the concept of what that machine is doing.

"It...It's gathering Dynamax power..." Gary muttered in anger, as he noticed that the machine is collecting the power in an illegal way.

"B-But, I can't handle them all, they're probably handling some high leveled Pokemon." He thought out loud.

Little did he know, he was already found.

"Hey you, what are you doing here?! Get him!" A grunt yelled as he spotted Gary.

"Crap."

He quickly delivered out his Blastoise, seeking assistance.

The grunts also called out their Pokemon, some of them are powerful looking one.

"Rhyperior, Stone Edge!"

"Nidoking, Venoshock!"

"Quick, Rapid Spin to counter them all!"

With those commands being executed, the foe's Pokemon charged up their ranged attacks and fired them towards the Kanto evolved starter Pokemon. But fortunately, it was deflected by Blastoise's Rapid Spin. Though it created a large explosion which can be heard miles from where they are.

The other grunts are also notified about what was happening and also let out their Pokemon in order to stop the one who found their illegal activities.

Gary, sensing that he's outnumbered, decided to run, he returned his Pokemon and ran back towards the town, but the grunts are not letting him get away and chased down Gary.

"I didn't signed up for this!" Gary yelled as he ran, dodging some of the attacks fired at him.

"They're trying to stop me, as they were being caught in act." Gary thought out loud.

He was about to let out his Pidgeot but those people in black quickly surrounded him in an unexpected way.

"Wha-"

"Give it up boy, we're not letting you out here unless we remove that thought of yours about us." A person in black said, it was a feminine voice.

"Tsk. Pidgeot, Blastoise, come out!" Gary yelled as he tossed two pokeballs, revealing the Kanto native Pokemon.

"Not giving yourself in huh, fine then, we'll take you by force, Crobat, Air Slash!"

"Houndoom, Flamethrower!"

"Shriftry, Razor Leaf!"

Three attacks were fired towards Pidgeot and Blastoise but Gary was quick in reacting.

"Pidgeot, blow them away with Gust! Blastoise, help out with Hydro Pump!

And with that being said, the three attacks were successfully deflected but sensing that their numbers have increased, it is impossible to repel their next attack.

"What do I do?" Gary muttered in panic. They're number's increasing, and he's being surrounded.

"Gary, think!" Gary brainstormed, seeking some thoughts Ash have taught him.

"Everyone, fire again!"

"Nidoking, Venoshock!"

"Rhyperior, Rock Tomb!"

"Crobat, Poison Sting!

"Shriftry, Razor Leaf!"

"Houndoom, Fire Blast!"

"Weavile, Ice Beam!"

Some deadly attacks were fired at him, he just closed his eyes, waiting for the impact, as it was his time thinking he can't do anything about it.

But...

"Everyone, Hyper Beam!"

A large ray of light beam struck between the mixture of attacks, Gary was shocked and surprised about it and opened his eyes, three figure landed in front of him, two is the one who he quickly familiarized and the other one, unfortunately, is unknown to him.

"What's this, what's this? Ganging up against one boy? That is a seriously bad crime." The taller girl said, amused at that fact.

"T-Teacher?" Gary questioned.

"Oh, Gary, it's you, let the higher ups handle this, just watch behind." Ash stated.

"Good job helding these Team Rocket goons." Chloe remarked.

Gary just stared in awe and spectated them as they handled the battle.
