"I-'' Amelia looked at Rose about to cry'' I need to go home..." Rose nodded and Amelia quickly grabbed her things and phone off the floor and took off running to the bus station when a car drove past her.

"Amelia get in," Alex shouted to her. Amelia stopped and turned to him before getting in the car strapping herself as tears dripped down her face. "Try to calm down Mels... you being upset like this won't help anyone"

She wiped her face and nodded, she couldn't help but be scared but she knew that no matter what happens she needs to be there and at her fullest to help. "I can't believe that this is happening... I thought we were safe." she looked at Alex closely, spotting a scar on his neck, from what she could see it didn't look like something that would have happened in a fight. "What's on your neck alex?"

"Nothing just a new thing that work put in after you left" Amelia decided to not push it but she felt like something was wrong.

Alex kept driving "so you really aren't planning on coming back.."

"Are you stupid? I already said no for god's sake. Someone has taken my brother Alex atleast be a little sensitive you dumb asshole"

Alex gripped hard onto steering wheel hard. "Asshole? Is that all i am to you amelia? I had your back for years and you call me a dumb asshole?"

"Yes alex you are a dumb asshole. Half the time our missions went wrong because of you making mistakes! I'm starting to think you did it on purpose!"

Alex pulled to a stop outside her house "get out. GET OUT NOW" Amelia shrank back at his anger and got out of the car as fast as she could then grabbed her things. She ran through the gate and screamed falling to her knees when she saw the house. The once pristine house crumbled to the floor.

Her mother ran over to her "amelia we need to go now we aren't safe, your dad is on his way back to pick us up"

Amelia nods, feeling numb and stumbled to her feet gripping onto her mother. She felt weak and broken as she looked over the house, tears sprang to her eyes despite the house ever feeling like her home, she still lived there and had memories here. Now the house was gone and it felt like all the memories were gone with it.

She looks out towards the road in hopes to spot her dad driving up as soon as she rested her head on her mum's shoulder. "This is going to keep happening isn't it mum" she whispers already knowing the answer.

Her mum sighed "you knew what the job entailed when you started Amelia. It was your choice, no one else's. The only way it's ever going to stop is if you die. The longer you ignore it the harder it will try to bring you back in. you always said you didn't think you could ever truly stop."

Amelia rubbed her arms and nodded. Her mum was right. When was she right? "Dads here.... Wait mum, who's driving behind him?"

Stood there watching the car's time seem to slow down, she could see her mum preparing to grab their things to move to the car. A scream could be heard but she didn't understand why until she looked at the cars. The black car had gone to the side of her dad's car and it was repeatedly slamming into the side trying to ram her dad off the road.

Amelia grabbed her mum's gun off the side, cocking the gun and firing it at the black car's window. Amelia felt a cold wash of calmness come over her once she was holding the gun. Gone were the bad memories and feelings all there was, was complete concentration as she aimed again and fired at the black car. The car quickly left and Amelia took off running towards her dad's car.

The car crashed into the brick fence they have, Amelia quickly unbuckled her dad and dragged him out in case the car blew up. Her mother started checking over her dad, so Amelia went into the car grabbing the radio that was used to contact all operators.

"Officer Samuelson? Its commander Jackson we need an ambulance at the summer safe home in the united kingdom, i also need all my gear if you could. And send out the announcement that the blue jay is back. At Least for now."
