Enter my first Miraculous Ladybug fanfic ever! Wow! This is gonna fun to write because I am actually gonna be in the story to play such a huge role. What fun!

(Marinette's POV)

Life in Paris was amazing. It was like all good things have been happening to me. Well for starters, the city of Paris is in peace. No one has been akumatized for so long, Hawkmoth eventually gave up because he hates all of the positive energy.

Heck, I haven't seen Lila in a long time. Rumor said she went somewhere but I honestly don't care because guess who's officially dating the Adrien Agreste?!

Man, it's such a complicated story to tell how and why but I never knew that he hid a huge secret from me for so long.

He was really Cat Noir!

Also known as my partner when I'm Ladybug!

I feel so guilty rejecting my own crush as Ladybug, I kept apologizing to him so many times on it, he kept replying back "Its fine, bugaboo" many many times.

But the good news is that I'm dating him and we both know each other's secret identities which is a huge relief.

Valentines Day was so close, I can't wait to celebrate it with Adrien! My boyfriend! For the first time.

Alya, Rose, Juleka, Alix, and Melene were so happy for me when they found about me and Adrien. Especially the whole school and my parents. Surprisingly Chloe even congratulated me which was crazy.

*sighs* Can't my life get any better?

I was walking to school as I spotted Adrien holding roses that were meant for me. It was the 12th of Valentines Day and Adrien has been  doing small gestures for me before the big day which was so so so adorable! I feel like his princess! Or maybe queen!

"They're amazing, Adrien, the roses, thank you" I told my boyfriend as he chuckles, giving them to me.

"It was no biggie, Marinette, besides you're amazing to me than the roses" Adrien replies back.

'Awwwwwww! He's so adorable! I feel like I don't deserve him at all but I'm lucky I do' I thought to myself as blush crept on my face like I look like a tomato.

Adrien and I kept staring at each other that Alya snapped so loud breaking our trance. "Enough staring, lovebirds! We have to attend Miss. Bustier's class or else you 2 don't mind having a tardy and have detention before Valentine's Day" Alya said as Nino chuckled a bit.

"No! No! No! Alya, how could you?! We have to get to class, you guys! I can't suffer a detention before the day of love! I don't want my parents to ground me!" I freaked out as I grabbed Arya's hand, dragging her inside the school building.

Nino and Adrien laughed as they followed behind us.

Slowpokes.....

All of the sudden, I bumped into someone who was somehow in the way. The person has shoulder length dark brown hair, tan skinned, wearing a shirt and shorts with a cardigan and black flats. She wasn't someone I can recognize but I helped her picked up her books and her glasses off of the floor with Alya.

"I'm so sorry this happened" The girl said as she put on her glasses as Alya and I handed her the books she dropped.

"That's fine. I was in a rush to get to class anyways" I replied back.

"Besides Marinette is very clumsy and doesn't look around for her surroundings so you're good" Alya added as I shot her a glare. She laughed as the girl slowly smiled in relief.

"Well what class are you two heading?" The girl asked us.

"Miss. Bustier" Alya answered.

"Really? I was wondering if you girls can take me there. I'm an exchange student from the U.S and transferred here for 2 weeks to study more in French, art, and fashion" The girl explained.

Wow...an exchange student? That's pretty cool and turns out she may have some things in common with me already.

"Well you come in the right place, I'm Marinette"

"Alya's the name"

"I'm Mina, nice to meet you two" The girl held tight of her heart necklace and clenched tight on her books. She looks like she needs some help so Alya and I helped her carried some to class.

As we walked up the stairs, Alya, Mina, and I were talking about life in general but nothing much that involves the exchange student. I want to get to know her more but Adrien and Nino were in class and talking to the others.

Thank god, Miss. Bustier was in a good mood because she let me and Alya slide for today for being 3 minutes late and the fact we were helping Mina out.

Mina sits in the back alone which I kept looking at her from talking to Adrien and Alya because I feel bad for her. I kept asking her if she wants to move to where she can be surrounded with me and other classmates but she refused to.

During the whole class time, Mina was incredibly smart and got into Miss. Bustier's lectures, leading the class and it amazes everyone by her intelligence.

Chloe whispered something to Sabrina as Mina explained on the repetition of poems itself which I overheard and was surprised how positive was that coming from Chloe herself.

"Oh my gosh, Mina seems like she knows what to do, Sabrina. The school is lucky to have an exchange student like her"

"I know right, Chloe. This was like a blessing to have her around but it's too bad she's staying in Paris for two weeks"

"Sadly even I can't convince my dad to have Mina stay a bit longer but rules are rules"

Aa class ended, Mina was the first one to walk out as she put on her earbuds to listen to music  from her phone. She was quiet that she sat at me of the benches with one of her notebooks alone.

"Adrien, do you ever feel bad for Mina?" I told Adrien as we walked passed by her.

"Yeah, I do, actually. The school part was impressive especially to know that Mina is one smart heck of a girl. But in general, the fact she's different worries me" Adrien replies back, giving me a concern look.

What does he mean by that?

"What do you mean, Adrien?" I asked him, lookin confused.

Adrien grabbed my hand and pulled me to where our lockers were at. He looked around to see if anyone was listening but luckily no one was not around in the room.

"Mina may have some good energy towards the school part but I'm afraid with her acting different outside of school will lead to Hawkmoth. Who knows what kind of monster she would be if she gets akumatized by him?"

"Adrien, Mina will not be a monster nor akumatized by Hawkmoth. Ever. You're just over exaggerating because there hasn't been anyone being akumatized lately"

"I wouldn't make heists comments like that, Marinette. But you gotta look out for her as much as I am alright?"

"Alright I will but now you mention Hawkmoth, do you think it's just weird he hasn't struck in Paris lately?"

"Well yeah. Hawkmoth was supposed to be this big bad villain that right now he's lacking that definition off. Something tells me we have to go to Master Fu about this"

"Good idea. Let's go see him and the other kwamis and hopefully they have the answer to this"

"Yeah it's a good thing Plagg and Tikki are keeping it down so no one won't know that you're Ladybug and I'm Cat Noir. We can't let anyone get hurt if our identities get exposed more"

"Indeed. I agree"

After the conversation, Adrien and I saw Mina walking out of the school which we followed behind her. I hope Hawkmoth won't akumatized her. She's so innocent and kind enough to be his puppet and do his bidding.
