----------7----------

I burrow deeper into the pile of toilet paper, hoping to get out of sight.
I flip over with some difficulty so that I am on my stomach, and I peer out from the pile.
A pair of feet stop right in front of me, and I barely hold in a gasp. I stay as still as a rock, hoping that maybe it will go away. But no one ever gets that lucky in real life.
Instead of lifting the toilet paper up, which would've been much simpler if you ask me, he shreds it to bits. I don't know why, but the load feels much lighter once it's shredded.
He grabs my arm and pulls me out of the closet and throwing me into one of the lobby chairs. I groan as I topple to the floor but quickly get to my feet, gun in hand. I shoot the other two behind him easily, but hesitate when I see him.
It's my Uncle Ray.
Brain washed or not, I don't shoot my family. Instead I kick him in the chest and he falls into the closet, where I proceed to lock him in.
I lean against the door for a minute, catching my breath. I keep my gun out in case there are any other brain washed soldiers out and about.
I end up finding another cart to carry everything in further down the hall, and I start to push it through the hospital, looking for where they keep their medicine.
Eventually I find a room labeled 'DRUG DEPARTMENT' and figure this should be pretty close to what I'm looking for. The door was left unlocked, and inside is a few dead pharmacists on the floor and when leaning against a mixing counter. Since the president had only started his killing spree a week or two ago, the smell was only really bad, but I knew it could be worse.
Rows of injections, pain killers and wound cleaners are on the walls and stacked on carts. Bandages are stockpiled in an open cupboard. Notes and papers are scattered on the counters, and unfinished medicines sit in containers.
I roll the cart down the aisles, knocking everything I can find into it. Everything in here will be needed eventually, and I'm going to take as much as I can.
My gun is slung over my shoulder now, because I need both of my hands if I want to get this done fast.
As soon as my cart is full to the maximum with medicine, I push it back outside, making my way quickly to Adam and Jonah.
