"Trouble sleeping?" someone asks. I turn around and see Amano. "Yeah." I say. For once, it's actually nice that Amano is with me.

"Um, about what Catherine said. You know, about me liking you?"

"Yeah, What about it?" I ask as I look at Amano's face. It's showing embarrassment.

"Well, it's,um,it's true." he said.

There was a long moment of silence.

"Oh. okay." I said not really sure how to react. He stepped forward and held my hand. I didn't really go against it.

"It's okay if you don't like me back... I know you never will." He said the last part softly.

        I was shocked, I didn't know what to do. I mean., he knows that I find him annoying. But why? I see him shake his head at himself and looks into my eyes with complete honesty, sincerity.

"No. Look, I know I said that I like you."

"But now that I'm here, holding your hand, I realize that..."

He inches his face closer to mine.
