Kartik went towards the plane and saw his brother Rishi there.

R- Hello Brother , you're late as always.

Rishi shrugged his shoulders.

Kartik looked at him for a second then a smirk formed on his face , he put one hand in his trousers and said calmly

K- I'm never late , it's just everyone's early

After saying this , Kartik patted his shoulder and went inside. Rishi followed him knowing that he can't joke around with his brother.

R- This will be the first time , we are going to the mortal world

K- Hmm

As soon as the flight took off , Rishi ordered a glass of blood. Kartik gave him an impossible look

R- What?

K- You just drank in the castle and now you want more , Seriously man!!

Rishi smirked and leaned on his seat

R- Well thank me , I'm not drinking right from a human

They landed after 8hrs being in the air. They went to the hotel which has already been pre- booked for them. Both Rishi and Kartik had their own suites.

Kartik went to his room and retired on the bed. Only one thing was on his mind that was finding his soulmate , he only has one week for it or he'll be banished from the kingdom and it will also bring shame to his family.

Kartik was lost in these thoughts when he heard a knock at the door. Kartik went and open the door

K- What Rishi??

R- Let's go and explore the city

K- Ha , I know you , you want to explore the bars and the clubs

R- If you know me that well , then c'mon

They both walked down the street and went in a club , Rishi immediately got engrossed in his activities but Kartik was not enjoying it , so he went out.

He was feeling hungry , it was late night and the cold breeze was blowing but it didn't effect him. He saw a couple going in the opposite Lane and wondered what LOVE is like , that is when he collided with a middle aged man who was drunk.

Man- Hey look where you are going.

Kartik didn't responded but kept looking at him

Man- What!! You rich bastard!!!!!

Kartik eyes turned red and his fangs started coming out , the man was too shocked that no voice was coming out from him , Kartik dragged the man in a small , narrow , dark Lane and satisfied his hunger . When he was finished he heard a sob then another. He looked at the opposite direction and saw a girl sitting there all by herself. Her phone rang , and she whispered.

Kartik can hear her clearly. When Kartik heard her , he was a bit surprised and saw her throwing her phone which smashed into pieces.

Naira's POV

I was frustrated and irritated , the mere thought of my family makes me angry and I start to cry.

I worked late in the office and was thinking what life has done to me , I had no one whom which I can share my pain , my life.

Suddenly tears started coming , it was late night so there was no one on the street , I sat on the porch of the shop. Then my phone rang , and I talked slowly.

N- What mom?? Why are you calling me?

Mom- Today was the family reunion dinner , where were you??

She spoke sternly

N- Did you even care , where am I?? I don't care , it is not my family

Mom- How are you talking

N- Do you know it is the first time in 2 years that you called me

And I cut the phone and threw it and it smashed into pieces.
