Naira's POV

I was scared , not that I'm a human or something like that , I was scared about the war. These Vampires , they are different and moreover the royals , they are invincible. I scoffed at the thought that soon , I'm gonna be one of them. Soon Kartik barged in with a murderous look , nope he's not alright

" So you're going?" I try to be very sweet and neutral

" Hmm...we are, we'll be back maybe by evening , I have enough of my brother" Kartik said with an angry tone that I flinched

"But then what? What you'll do with him?" I asked as being a curious human being

" We are Royals , the invincible but something can kill us too if we use the right thing" Kartik said while taking out his clothes from the closet

" What do you mean? How are you gonna kill him??" I was feeling irritated by his riddles

Suddenly he was infront of me kneeled down

" Just trust me , nothing is going to happen to you , and once you're one of us , you'll know everything" Kartik said cupping my face

I can smell him , the smell which surprisingly calm me. He brought my face to his level and we kissed , it was not passionate as the last one , it was more like a we need each other.

Kartik's POV

I was out in the jungle with my men. They all were searching for him , the traitor Rahul. He is going to die , today. My dad didn't liked my idea , but still he came to support me.

Suddenly I heard something , footsteps , I mean. We all were alerted.

" Well well if it isn't my brother" a sound boomed

I knew clearly whose voice was it
" Yes sweet little brother , your brother has came to meet you" I said in the same tone.

Suddenly some of my men fell on the ground and their skin burned to ashes. This was witchcraft, I knew it. I heard some footsteps but I tried to concentrate on one type of footsteps and when I heard it. I slowly went towards it and caught him by the neck.

" Greetings little brother" I said

He started laughing maniacally. What the hell , he's upto something very serious , I can see it on his face. He might have noticed my face

" You're doomed , hahaha , who told you I have an army?? I never had one , thanks to you" Rahul spat

"But then why are you laughing" I asked

" Because your soulmate is gonna suffer , you're here with your best men and there she is in the castle unprotected" he smirked

Realization hit me , my grip around his neck weakend and suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my stomach , I saw blood dripping out through the wound , and then I looked at Rahul who was smirking and had an oak stick in his hand , how did he?
He attacked me again and again.

I felt dizzy and then heard my father shouting and then everything was black.

Cries and prayers are heard from a room , where a person was lying on the bed with blood flowing from the wounds , NORMALLY.

But here Kartik's father had doctor's neck around his palm

" You better treat my son soon , or you know what will I do" He shouted

" Leave him , he can't treat him with your palm around his neck" Kartik's mom shouted and removed her husband's hand from the doctor's neck

Naira was sitting near Kartik , she was numb. She now knew what can kill a Royal Vampire.
