A random theory I made up -

The ending of Season 1 of Umbrella Academy isn't real.

What I mean is that what if Vanya had been in a coma or some shit and the ending (killing Leonard, hurting Allison, destroying the moon, blah blah blah) was in her imagination.

- Vanya had to take pills for her nerves, when she couldn't find them, her powers went *moon exploding* crazy.

- What if Vanya had some type of disorder where she would make up random stories and have hallucinations (sorry, my smol violinist) and that's what happened.

- Her book "Extra-Ordinary: My Life as Number Seven" literally could've been considered a fiction by other people and she convinced herself it was real.

- Everyone was angry at Vanya for believing her own mind and writing a darn book about it.

- Luther locked up Vanya for her own safety so she wouldn't get in trouble and this led to Vanya getting into a coma.

- She had finally found love with Leonard and naturally thought of the worse while she was in this coma state.

- Allison can't speak because she's speechless about Vanya's current state

- Vanya imagines of Ben like 24/7 because she deeply misses him

- Exploding the house and seeing all those bad memories is Vanya's subconsciousness living through those again

- All the powers Vanya had (especially when she flipped that one car, remember that?) was Vanya's subconscious trying to break free from the coma
