Amidst the ever-green trees, a soft laughter could be heard. 

'Catch me if you can" The girl shouted, she looked as if she was 18 years old

"Oh just wait you little one" The boy, who must be 19, laughed as he gave her a chase through the trees.

The girl ran and ran till they both reached a clearing in the forest. She turned to look at the boy who was in awe:
The clearing was all decorated with yellow roses and orchids and cute chocolate bunnies.

The boy loved all these! Yellow roses and Orchids were his favourite flowers. and choco bunnies? He loved devouring them. He turned towards the girl with questioning eyes and asked "what is all this Rena?"

The girl  took a step towards him. He looked at her, she was smiling, and those eyes- those beautiful eyes of hers- that ground him to his place every time he looked into them were shining with so much love and affection. Just as he was about to sweep her into his arms, the girl went down on one knee, a bunch of orchids in her hand, and right in between the orchids was a yellow rose

"Rena-"

"Hear me out Mill" The girl cut him off.

She took a deep breath and started speaking:

In life, we face many challenges.
I did too. Do you know what was the greatest challenge for me?
 YOU
 I love you with every inch of my soul, the very essence of my being revolves circles around you.
You were, are and will be my world for eternity.
 Every time i look into your eyes, you capture me there. You give me everything i ask for, Every fiber in me, my very essence of life belongs to you
Mill, my love, my Prince, I love you with all my heart
Will you be mine the way I am yours?
Will u marry me?

Mill, the boy was dumbstruck. Never ever in a million years did he think that Rena would propose him! 

He took a deep breath and looked at Rena who was still on one knee, he took the flowers from her.
Dropping to his knees, he held both her hands in his, they fit so perfectly, as if they were two pieces of a puzzle that have finally put together. 

He leaned in so that his forehead was touching hers, and he spoke in a low voice... 

"You know I always wanted to tell you something..." He chuckled,  "I am a dumb and forgetful person.
Still, I remember everything and every moment that had you in it.
 I was afraid to be myself,
But with you I felt more than myself.
 I could tell u everything even when the world turned deaf to me,
I would stand with you even if it meant that you will be the only one beside me,
Because that's what I always wanted YOU and ME and no one else.
 I love you too, I love you too
I am yours Rena, yours forever"

"Yours" Both of them whispered. 

Just then there was a thunder and an ear-splitting noise made them cover their ears. 

Resin jolted awake. 

It was her mom and dad.

They looked so young and devastatingly beautiful in their youth!

And the dream she had was not just a dream, it-it felt like a memory. 

The clock read 3:46 AM .

"Liloxan" she called out only to be met by silence. After calling out to her spirit guide a few more times, Resin fell asleep.

She decided to talk to him the next morning.

Little did she know that this next morning would arrive no time soon.
