That is correct. Sayaka was the first in the Mutual Killing Game of Class 78 to die. Leon was the first one to be executed.

There is evidence of Leon liking her, because he still wants to execute music as his career inside the killing game. He also broke open the bathroom door after he accidentally stabbed her to check on her.
