At the Time Keep...

Chronostasis and Spinner were walking down the hall of the Timekeep after their successful mission. Spinner pulled the bag as he struggled and panted.

Chrono: "Need help?"

Spinner: "Yes please?"

Chrono: "Interesting."

Chrono didn't help the Gecko as Spinner kept pulling until they met up with Kronika as she appeared with Fawful, Kurogiri, Dark Raiden and the Elite Trio. She shifted the room to be where the Hourglass was as they were all together.

Kronika: "I see your mission was successful."

C. Chrono: "Unfortunately we lost our only working quirk erasing bullets."

The real Chrono came in and admired the craftsmanship.

Chrono: "You got the tech at least. That's good."

Chrono #1 proceeded to slash his clone's throat with a knife as the clone fell on his knees and mud came out of it's throat until it melted completely. He proceeded to do the same thing with the Spinner clone and looked through the bag.

Chrono: "If Grodd did his work, your robot army might be unstoppable."

C. Grodd: "Unfortunately we have not. The Avengers had responded to a distress signal that had gone off when we had invaded. We lost good clones and I prefer to stay as one for the time being, to aid my real counterpart."

Kronika: "It is alright as long as one of you has succeeded in their mission. Kano has succeeded in getting rid of The Cage Family. For the most part."

Ashe: "Yeah but those damn Mercenaries from R.E.D. came and mucked it up. Then that Spy took down B.O.B."

P. Erron: "Maybe you oughta shoot your shot when you have the chance and not rely on a robot with no ammo."

Ashe: "Hush your mouth. Last I recall, you're the one that got beat by an old man. I thought you were Outworld's toughest mercenary with the weapon skills to boot."

P. Erron: "And those weapons skills are gonna put a bullet perfectly between your eyes if you don't watch your mouth."

Kronika: "Enough. I suggest seeing Moira to get healed just in case. And what of Vortex, Kurono?"

Chrono: "We lost Sakamoto to the heroes. Either he's killed or they took out his inhibitor chip."

Kronika: "Do not fret, Kurono. I plan on making this fun for me if they attempt anything. Deliver the equipment to Mother Brain and bring Bubaigawara to me. I have plans for him to make more clones."

Kronika walked off as she smirked, ready for what might be thrown at her. What happened at the Special Forces Base though?

At the Special Forces Base... Before the invasion...

Kenshi was healing on a bed in the medic room as Sonya was looking for something and Cassie noticed it.

Cassie: "What are you looking for?"

Sonya: "Just a toolbox that every Special Forces base has incase of scars like these." *Finds the toolbox* "Here it is!"

Sonya hauled out a red toolbox as she grabbed a wrench taped to it and hit the toolbox. It opened and started to build itself as she kept hitting it until it was finally built and spinning.

Sonya: "Engineer's teleporter never fails."

Cassie: "You wanna bring in the Medic from the R.E.D. division of TF industries?"

Sonya: "Oh yeah. Before your time, we had to use these teleporters to get everyone from place to place. They were said to cause tumors but that was... False in a few ways." *Grabs the phone next to the shelf* "Now if the number still works..." *Starts dialing*

Cassie: "Those guys have been doing their own thing for a while so we ended up getting the Overwatch Team to help us now. At least we used it."

Sonya: "Hey, Engi. It's Sonya. I was wondering if Medic is around and if you got a working teleporter." *Listens to the response* "Yeah. Alright, good. It's a couple third degree burns on Kenshi if you remember him." *Hears the response* "Alright great. Thanks, I owe you guys one." *Hangs up* "Medic will be here shortly."

Cassie: "I shouldn't be surprised but since when have we been working with Mercenaries?"

Sonya: "We've had these guys since the classics went AWOL."

Cassie: "They sound real handy now that Overwatch is illegal."

After a few minutes the teleporter was picking up speed as a tall man with glasses and a med pack appeared!

Medic: "Gutentag, Fraulines!"

"The Medic!" (The Mad Scientist of the RED Team!)

Sonya: "Good to have you back, Medic."

Medic: "It's been a while. Mein god, you got younger, Sonya!"

Cassie: "It's a whole time thing."

Medic: "Well then, where's the new patient?"

Cassie: "Right here."

Cassie moved to show Kenshi with his burns.

Medic: "Interesting burns. 3rd degree. Nothing a little medicine won't fix."

The Medic readied his Medigun and flipped a few switches. He then fired the gun and Kenshi's skin started to look better as it was healing and eventually, Kenshi woke up and gasped for air.

Medic: "Good morning, sir."

Kenshi: "Thanks, Medic."

Medic: "But of course! If you'd like, I could give you surgery, capable of giving you fireproof skin. And give you new eyes."

Kenshi: "I'm fine thanks."

Medic: "Suit yourself. If you need us, feel free to contact us."

Medic got on the teleporter and went back to his base. Kenshi put his blindfold back on as he grabbed his sword.

Kenshi: "How's Takeda?"

Sonya: "He's worried about you but he's alright."

Kenshi: *Gets up* "I'll go find him."

Sonya: "Rest, Kenshi. You've done enough. Takeda will come to you later. Right now he's at the Fire Garden with Kung Jin, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Sub-Zero and Scorpion. Now stay here and rest as much as you can."

Sonya and Cassie left Kenshi in the room as he laid in bed and waited for Takashi. However, the teleporter started spinning...

With Jack, Jacqui and Jax...

The three were testing out their new weapons as Jax blew up a training dummy with fire blasts coming from his arms and Jack hitting the head with his gun.

P. Jax: "Man, these arms are an upgrade. It'll be payback time, next time I see Ermac."

"Jaxson Briggs!" (Cybernetically-Enhanced Super Soldier!)

Jacqui: "Oh don't worry, I made sure he got his."

"Jacqui Briggs!" (Daughter of Jaxson Briggs!)

Jack: "This gun has good support. Killing Kronika might be our only option of winning so I'm not complaining with this gun."

????: *Barges in* "You fight like a girl, maggot!"

P. Jax: "Soldier?"

Soldier: "In the flesh, Briggs!"

"The Soldier!" (Dimwitted American Patriot but Loyal to his team!)

Jacqui: "I've heard about you through my dad. How you're the crazy one of a group of mercenaries."

Soldier: "I'm not crazy! I am a true blooded American! *Faces Jack* "Back to you, Maggot, you fight like a girl!! Get a real gun!"

Soldier took out an RPG and gave it to Jack as he chuckled sinisterly.

Jack: "Something like this could work. I'm not a killer though."

Soldier: "Then you gotta knock the snot out of those germany sounding canadians!" *Gives him a shovel* "Always go at 'em with a shovel!"

Jack: "Whatever you say."

Soldier: *Faces Jax* "As for you, cadet, I expect you to fight, kick ass with those metal boxing gloves you call arms. I'm gonna teach this rookie how to fight like a man."

Soldier grabbed Jack and dragged him away despite Jack's protest of how he already knows how to fight.

Jax: "Heh, he never changed. I like that about him. Now, I expect that in the future I am kicking ass with these right now?"

Jacqui: "..... Cassie told you about what happened right? About being a revenant."

Jax: "Sounded horrible. I can't imagine being one of Shinnok's puppets, but she said I will come back from it."

Jacqui: "The experience haunted dad. But then he, you, met mom. She brought you back to life."

Jax: "The love of a good woman..." *Smiles* "I like the sound of that."

Jacqui: "She was dad's everything. She died last year. Now dad spends his time on the farm. He feels safer there."

Jax felt sad after hearing the unfortunate fate he would have suffered one day.

Back with Sonya and Cassie...

Cassie was opening up the monitor for Sonya to look around the files.

Cassie: "Here's how you access incoming reports. Swipe here to cross check them with past reports. The software can suss out the deltas."

Sonya: "Now that's progress."

Cassie walked away to deal with other issues as Sonya looked through reports, feeling two sets of eyes on her. She turned to see Johnny Cage and his past counterpart looking at her but looked away.

P. Johnny: "So I end up marrying Lieutenant Princess over there? I always had a thing for blondes. Ever since Suzie-"

Johnny and P. Johnny: "-Donardo, Junior Year."

Johnny: "Take it from me heh. You didn't miss much. That woman over there? She's the real deal." *Watches Sonya with loving eyes*

P. Johnny: *Pulls down his sunglasses* "Ooo I got eyes, brother." *a bit too loudly* "As young as you, I solemnly swear to tap that at the earliest opportunity!"

Johnny got second-hand embarrassment as the other soldiers heard him say that. An awkward silence filled the room as Johnny looked at his past self.

P. Johnny: "What? It's our destiny-" *Grabbed by the ear* "Ah! Ow!"

Johnny: "Out. Now!"

Johnny dragged Past Johnny away as Sonya shook his head.

Sonya: "How do I ever sleep with that guy?"

Cassie: "Look, my dad isn't the Johnny you knew. He... Grew up. I like to think you rubbed off on him. As a kid, I looked up to both of you."

Sonya: "My dad, your grandfather, was my hero. Call me Private Pun'kin."

Cassie: "Hey, that's what you called me." *A second or two of awkward silence* "We should.. Get back to work."

Sonya nodded as Cassie walked away. While messing with the computer, Sonya's face was scanned.

Computer: "Biometric scanner detected... General Sonya Blade."

Sonya: "General Blade? Dad would be proud." *Gets a closer look*

Meanwhile... With Soldier and Jack...

Jack: "Look, Soldier, I appreciate you willing to teach me but I'm able to fend for myself."

Soldier: "Oh yeah?" *Let's go and motions towards himself* "Hit me, girlie!"

Jack ignored the Soldier's insults and walked off with the shovel.

Soldier: "Wussy!"

Soldier followed Jack but they stopped when they heard Johnny and his past self arguing.

P. Johnny: "Untwist your panties older me, I'm a star!"

Johnny: "This is a military operation, not a movie set."

P. Johnny: "I'm only the best fighter here but your daughter's got me sitting at the kids table."

Johnny: *Smacks P. Johnny* "Our daughter is C.O. A little humility might earn her respect!"

P. Johnny: "Dad always said, "Hungry people eat lunch, humble people serve it."

Johnny: "Dad was an asshole! Hollywood made us..." *Grabs Past Johnny's shades* "An even bigger one!"

Johnny dropped the sunglasses and stomped on them, only for Past Johnny to take out another pair and put them on. He smirked and got into a fighting stance, doing karate moves while Soldier and Jack walked away, knowing it wasn't their table to talk at. Johnny shook his head and got into a fighting stance.

P. Johnny: "Bring it, old man! Bring it on!"

Past Johnny charged straight towards his present self as he charged up his fist and just as he got close to his present self, the Current Johnny initiated the Nut Punch. The Past Johnny was launched back but got back up to get ready again. The Elder Johnny waited for his younger opponent. He made his turn to attack Past Johnny, as ran towards him he gave his younger self a Hollywood Haymaker and a Special Kombo Attack; The Post Credits. However, the younger Johnny got back up with Rise & Shine Attack to catch Present Johnny off guard. Once back up on his feet, Past Johnny did his own jumping attacks, The Straight Frame, to Johnny from the Present Timeline. However, Johnny had one more trick up his sleeve for his younger self as he surprisingly attacked his past self with a Kombo Attack, The Tear Jerker! The Johnny Cage of the Present won the match.

Johnny: *Smirked in triumph* "This old man just kicked your ass."

Past Johnny got up, embarrassed but had a scowl on his face, walking away from the fight.

P. Johnny: "You got lucky."

Johnny watched as his younger self walked away from the fight that ensued.

Back with Sonya...

While they fought, Sonya was looking through her profile and found recordings, data, files, etc. There was one thing that caught her eye which was the word 'deceased' that was under her picture. Curious, she dug deeper to find her last recording which was the mission to blow up the beacon in the Netherrealm. She listened to the recording, every creature being killed, the intense orders made by her and her squad... Her final words and Cassie's desperate hope to free her as she sat there in shock when it was all over. Cassie looked over as she worked to see she snooped around the files and sighed, sadly going to confront her and the mission.

Cassie: "You saw it didn't you?"

Sonya: "So that's it? My final mission?"

Cassie: "Yeah. I'm sorry, Mom."

Sonya: "It's fine, don't be sorry. You followed orders and there was nothing that could be done. That's how it is sometimes and you know that or at least I taught you that when I was your mother. I'm glad that in the future I could raise such a strong soldier like you. And you're C.O., I know I would have loved to see you get something like that if I had a daughter. I'm proud, C.O." *Salutes* "You're gonna be a great leader to these people so don't mess it up."

Cassie *Salutes with teary eyes* "I won't." *Sniffs and sighs* "I gotta get back to work. Thanks, Blade."

Sonya smiled as she looked through more files but after a few minutes, the screens went red and an alarm went off, alerting the heroes of what's happening.

Cassie: "Go to condition code red!! Call R.E.D and the new Overwatch. if possible!"

Soldiers got their guns ready as Jack, Soldier, Johnny and his past self armed themselves up.

Speaker: "We're under attack! Repeat, we're under attack!"

P. Johnny: "Yipeekayay right?"

Soldier: "Let's send these monkeys back to hell!"

Johnny: "Follow my lead."

The two were on guard as they headed for the enemies but the wall next to them exploded in a surprise attack, knocking them away and looking up to see Erron Black's past self and a cowgirl came out with other henchmen.

With Cassie...

While that happened, the doors were barricaded from the inside, ready to shoot down whoever came in. On the other side, Kano and his past self walked through the army of Cyber Lin Kuei and saw the door closed shut. Fortunately for them, the rebuilt Sektor approached them and fired his laser, slowly cutting a hole through the steel gate door. The soldiers readied their guns and aimed at the door.

Back with Johnny...

Johnny and the rest were behind trucks, shooting at the goons. They started retreating to a safer position close by but as they did, Past Johnny's cheek was grazed by one of Erron's bullets. They managed to hide again and they saw Past Johnny's cut, noticing that the current Johnny got the same scar.

Johnny: "Ohhh that's freaky like Friday."

Jack: "We need to get you two away from here!"

Soldier: "Time for a real gun."

Soldier took out his RPG and moved away to aim it at the villains. Unfortunately, too many bullets were flying and one even hit the Soldier's helmet!

Jack: *Pulls Soldier back* "It's too dangerous, Soldier!"

P. Johnny: *In shock* "They shot our face, Johnny. They shot. Our face!!"

Past Johnny pulled out a mirror and was shocked at the cut on his cheek. The mirror was shot to pieces and broke the camel's back as Past Johnny browled and grabbed a shield, shouting a war cry and charging at the henchmen.

Johnny: "Oh he's gonna get us both killed."

Soldier: *Runs out with his RPG* "Hut hut hut!!!"

Soldier jumped and shot the RPG under his feet, launching himself in the air and soaring through the air until he headed down and hit one of the gunmen with his shovel, aiding Past Johnny. Johnny walked but was interrupted by Erron Black and his new comrade.

Johnny: "Fancy way of saying hi."

P. Erron: "I was saying goodbye."

Johnny: "Now why is a nice Texas boy like Erron Black working with the Black Dragon and Deadlock Gang? You're a good guy this time kinda."

Ashe: "Oh we're on the winning side here. Erron and I got some good use for Kronika."

"Ashe!" (Leader of the Deadlock gang and dangerous Cowgirl!)

P. Erron: "Go overpower the idiot in the helmet. This one's mine."

Ashe: "Suit yourself."

Ashe readied her gun and walked off but she was cut off by Jack, who dealt with her while Johnny and Erron got into fighting positions.

P. Erron: "When I pick a side, I win. Everytime."

Johnny: "You chose... Poorly."

Jack kept fighting against Ashe and was going well as Jax and Jacqui joined in, causing her to flee in defeat while Soldier and Past Johnny finished off the henchmen. Johnny ran into the computer room to find lots of dead bodies from both sides on the ground. He looked to see Cassie on the floor, losing consciousness as Johnny went to check on her.

Johnny: "Breath, kiddo."

Cassie: "They took mom- Sonya."

Johnny: *Serious* "I'll get her." *Faces Jacqui* "Can we find them?"

Jacqui went to the computers and looked for any heat signals.

Jacqui: "Tarmac B!"

Johnny: "Keep her safe."

Johnny laid Cassie down as he grabbed an unused gun and started running to Tarmac B. He passed a door where he walked back to see a tank. He chuckled and entered the room as the rest of the heroes were trying to find any other survivors.

Outside the Compound...

Sonya was struggling to break free from the Cyber Lin Kuei's grasp as Sektor and Ashe went to her.

Ashe: "Well, aren't you a sight for sore eyes? Older you had a bit more fighting power than that. Let's just kill her here and now."

Sektor: "Kano asked for her specifically and that he be the only one to kill her. The ship will be here any minute to bring in the artillery too-"

Sektor was interrupted by a bullet hitting his shoulder as he stumbled back and looked to see where the bullet was fired. At the top of the rocks, stood the Sniper himself!

Sniper: "G'day, mate!"

The Sniper! (TF2's Sneakiest Sniper and Protective Mercenary!)

Ashe: *Pulls out her gun and aims for him* "Filthy sniper from R.E.D. thinking they can make a comeback."

Ashe didn't fire the gun as Sniper smirked at her and she nodded back.

Sektor: "Why aren't you firing?!"

Ashe pulled out a revolver and shot the two robot soldiers in the head, killing them. Ashe took aim at Sektor but he fought back by trading blows with her. Ashe started changing as she was revealed to be The Spy!

Spy! (Stealthy but Serious Spy of TF industries!)

Sektor: "Spy! I should have known."

Spy and Sektor fought as Spy tried to slash the robot with his butterfly knife and Sonya kicked Sektor's knees, knocking him to the floor as they ganged up on him. The other cyborgs tried to aid Sektor but were headshot by Sniper even if he missed a few times. That didn't last long as they were interrupted by rumbling coming from the base. The teams watched as a giant tank rolled out of the entrance and came for them.

Johnny: "Aw shit. Out of ammo!"

Spy and Sonya got out of the way as the tank aimed at Sektor while rolling. Sektor wasn't gonna give up easily as he teleported away from the moving tank and started running to the edge of the cliff. Sniper took aim but was stabbed in the back by Kano. Sektor stopped in his tracks as the tank aimed for the evil cyborg but an extraction jet appeared to Johnny's surprise. Sektor jumped back and onto the wing as two missiles were fired from the jet. They came for the tank as Johnny tried to get away to no avail and the tank was immobilized. The jet flew away and made a turn as Johnny came out, seeing the jet shooting at him, and dropped some C4 in the tank.

Johnny: "Let's see you come back from this!!"

Johnny pressed the detonator and the bomb exploded, making the jet burst in flames and fly down the ravine. Sektor survived as he jumped and landed on the ground, sending a message to his army.

Sektor: "Send another extraction jet with B.O.B in it."

Spy and Sonya would join Johnny but they were cut off by Ashe and her remaining lackeys shooting at them, making them run for cover.

Sektor: "Johnny Cage. You were defeated by Cyrax when you were younger and stronger. Since I am his superior, I am yours too."

Johnny: "You forgot that I defeated Shinnok mano-a-mano. Oh right... You were dead when that happened!"

Johnny: "Go back to the 90s." *Turns around* "Alright. Who's next?"

P. Kano: "I am." *Aims Sniper's rifle at Johnny* "Mr. Hollywood."

Johnny quickly ran towards Past Kano, doing a split before Past Kano fired the rifle. He missed but Johnny was able to do his ultimate move: the Nut Punch!

Johnny: *Sees Past Kano in pain* "Oh what the hell? Throwback me wasn't bad enough?"

P. Kano: "Oh it gets bloody worse. Sonya and your little girl? They're gonna die right in front of your face."

Kano's younger self grabbed a knife from his pocket and stabbed Johnny in the upper arm. Johnny made sure to channel his green magic and block the knife the best he could. With that, he managed to use his other arm to punch Kano back but Kano used his eye laser to try to scorch Johnny. More green aura was used and held off the laser as Past Kano stopped and spun in the air, hitting Johnny in the stomach and pushing him far. Kano grabbed his arms and pinned them down, leaning his head back and slamming his head into Johnny's nose. He was about to shoot his laser eye but Johnny's quick thinking made sure he hit his head on his nose, making him loosen up and the two got back up. Johnny and Kano tackled each other and threw a few punches as Johnny was punched in the stomach. Kano shot a laser but it was dodged and Johnny tackled Kano to the ground, stomping on his face a bit and kicking him in the side but Kano stabbed Johnny leg. That stab dug into his leg a bit as Past Kano got up and punched Johnny in the face. The two engaged in another fist fight but Johnny managed to pull out one of his oscars and whacked Past Kano in the face. The blow caused Past Kano to stumble back and fall to the ground.

Johnny: "No one threatens my family."

Johnny placed his foot on Past Kano's neck and was ready to crack it. However, before he could finish off the younger clone, he was shot in the leg and fell on the floor. He looked to see Kano walking up to him with Johnny's younger self with the Sniper's SMG aimed at his neck.

Kano: "Well, well. Got ourselves a full on generation swap here."

Sonya was held at gunpoint by Ashe as they watched Cassie, Kenshi, Jacqui, Jack, Past Jax and Soldier come out.

Ashe: *Grabs Sonya and aims his gun at him* "Not so fast, blondie! Move and the French man gets it."

Kano: *Makes P. Johnny kneel as he aims his gun at him* "Between Ninja Mime and Lady Liberty, we've got all the leverage."

Suddenly, P. Kano was grabbed by an invisible force and a knife was held to his throat, who showed himself to be Spy!

Spy: "Don't forget your younger self. You shoot them and the younger you will have blood coming from his neck."

It was now a standoff as they were all aiming their guns, sweating and not knowing when to shoot their targets. Kenshi gripped his blade tightly as he readied to use his powers.

Kano: "As long as I get rid of three for the price of one..." *Shrugs* "Alright."

Kano shot Johnny's younger self right through the head, killing both versions, prompting Spy to slash P. Kano's neck but was shot in the head by Kano once he did that, causing Ashe to shoot Sonya in the back of the head. Kano dropped his gun and held his throat as a wound was opening up and gasped for air. He was grabbed by Kenshi's telekinesis and dragged over so that Kenshi could slice him up and finish the job. Time had also caught up as Cassie dropped her gun and started stumbling, disappearing into sand while Kano and the current Johnny suffered a similar fate.

Jacqui/P. Jax: "CASSIE!!!/SONYA!!!"

Jacqui and Jax aimed their guns at Sektor and started firing all they could on him. Sektor could have teleported but was held down by Kenshi so that he could be shot down to pieces. The bullets weren't strong enough as they now had to fight against him. Ashe loaded her gun and aimed but was interrupted by Jack and Soldier's battle. Unknown to them, the extraction jet arrived as she grabbed the detonator that was where Kano's sand laid.

Ashe: "Alright now don't move! Unless you want me to blow this whole base up, I suggest you stay right where you are. Sektor's our last card on the table and I'm sure you don't want us to play it."

The extraction Jet's hatch opened up to reveal a giant robot that was reading a book on how to do things. Ashe smirked as she called out for him.

Ashe: "B.O.B., do something!!"

The robot looked up from his book and threw it behind him as he jumped out of the Jet and stared down the good guys.

"B.O.B.!" (Ashe's Mute Mechanical Bodyguard and Butler!)

Soldier: "Your hunk of metal is nothing against my RPG! Blammo!!"

He fired the missile which did no damage on B.O.B. as he charged at everyone. B.O.B. was a huge being that could do many things and bullets and missiles being launched at him were nothing to him. Jax took it upon himself to get in front of the robot and position himself so that he had B.O.B. in a bear hug. B.O.B's hands pressed against his as Jax held his ground, struggling to keep him back as they tried to push back one another. Kenshi used his telekinesis to pull him back but struggled to pull him back farther enough.

P. Jax: *Struggling* "Go.... Now!"

Jacqui: "I'm not leaving you!"

Just like that, Jacqui and the others tried to push him back as B.O.B. kept pushing onward.

????: "Everyone, get him ready!!"

The heroes looked to see The Heavy and The Medic arriving just in time to deal with B.O.B.!

Soldier: "Medic!"

Medic: "Keep him steady! I am almost at ubercharge!!"

Kenshi: *Struggling* "Hurry up!! I can't.... hold him much longer!"

Sektor: *Looking at Ashe* "What if they succeed?"

Ashe: "Oh I'll take care of that all right."

Ashe smirked, pressing the detonator and activated the explosive that was built into Sektor. Sektor grunted in pain as he broke down a bit and started to spark, beginning his soon to be demise.

Heavy: "Doctor!! How long?!"

"The Heavy!" (Armed Brutish Mercenary and Incredibly Dangerous Class!)

Medic: "I am fully charged!! Let him go!"

Everyone got out of the way as B.O.B. glared at Heavy and ran at him, full speed. Medic flipped the switch on his medipack and activated the Ubercharge that made him and Heavy glow red and become indestructible!

Jack: "Where's the cowgirl?"

Ashe: *Tips her hat as she's in the hatch* "I tip my hat off to you, boys and girls! Hurry it up, B.O.B.!"

B.O.B. collided with Heavy the same way he did with Past Jax. Heavy struggled a bit but started pushing back a bit. B.O.B let go of Heavy's hands and grabbed his hips so that he could throw him away as he tossed him far from the base. Medic was also grabbed but ended up being tossed over the cliff, screaming as he would fall to his death.

Ashe: "Thanks, B.O.B."

Ashe patted him on the back but that was bad as B.O.B. tipped over and keeled over dead with a sapper on his back, with Ashe morphing into Spy again!

Spy: *Points and laughs at B.O.B's corpse* "You suck!!" *Snorts as he laughed a lot*

Ashe's jaw dropped as she quickly grabbed her shotgun and took aim. Spy shot the gun off her hands as she had her hands up.

Ashe: "Quick, fall back, pilot!!"

The hatch started to close as the jet took off, flying far into the distance as the heroes watched.

Spy: *Laughs* "Victory is ours!!"

Jack: "And all it cost was a few corpses."

Spy: *Realizes they're dead* "Ugh.... Fuck!"

Soldier: "Those soldiers fought bravely. They will be missed." *Removed his helmet and salute in respect*

Jacqui: "Are we really all that's left?"

P. Jax: "Oh god..."

Past Jax went to Sonya's body as he closed her eyelids and let her rest but the moment would soon be silenced as he held in his pain while Jacqui held the sands of time that used to be Cassie.

Kenshi: "Anyone else here that beeping?"

They saw Sektor beeping more and convulsing as he started to spark more violently. Just then, bolts of lighting came down and Raiden came out.

Raiden: "Have I arrived too late?"

Jack: "You just made it in time."

Raiden looked over to see Sektor about to blow up as Raiden formed a dome around the group and took them somewhere else. Sektor beeped faster as he exploded and heavily destroyed the whole base.

At the Shirai Ryu Fire Garden....

At the Fire Garden of the Shirai Ryu clan, Scorpion was meditating with Takeda as they heard Raiden arrive with the rest of the heroes. They walked out to see everyone badly damaged from the battle.

P. Jax: "Now that's what I call a miracle."

Jacqui: "Thanks, Raiden."

Scorpion and Takeda went to them as Raiden bowed.

Raiden: "Grandmaster Hisashi. I humbly ask for the Shirai Ryu's hospitality. My Sky temple's been compromised. There is no safer place to gather."

Scorpion: "Lord Raiden." *Bows* "Welcome to the Fire Garden."

Present time....

Young Y/N: *In grief* "Aw, dude! At times like this I should've listened to Dr. Fate!"

Gabriel: "We can stay and regret things later. Right now, we should figure out what happened here."

Cyber Vortex: "It's hard to identify the bodies. They're charred beyond belief." *Sees Kano's cyborg eye and in thought* 'Kano's laser eye... Looks like Kano died trying to do his mission. Well his laser is more powerful than mine so maybe he won't mind me using it for an upgrade.' *Grabs the eye and rips it off*

They heard footsteps and coughing approaching them as they readied their attacks. That's when The Heavy came out of the smoke and tried swiping it away.

Kaleb: "Holy shit, it's Heavy from TF2."

Heavy: "Are you with Robots?"

Gabriel: "What robots?"

Cyber Vortex: "He means the Cyber Lin Kuei robots Kano attacked the base with-"

Heavy: *Cracks his fists* "You... You!! I hate robots!!"

The others got in front and tried to stop him as they said a jumble of things.

Young Y/N: "He's a good guy, and our friend! He's just a robot. He's not like the ones you faced!"

Heavy: "Hmph. Very well, little baby boy."

Everyone lowered their guards as they sighed and went back to searching. Heavy sat with Young Y/N and Shadow Y/N as they talked.

Shadow Y/N: "What do you remember from the attack, Heavy?"

Heavy: "I remember seeing a big robot attacking everyone and I used my fists to keep it in place thanks to Doctor. He was thrown off the cliff but I was thrown far away from the explosion."

Heavy pointed at the burnt and broken robot butler as Shadow Y/N and Young Y/N looked closer.

Young Y/N: "Funny. He reminds me of an Eggman robot and I don't know why."

Before Shadow Y/N could take the sapper off of B.O.B., without a warning lightning struck down from behind and the group watched Raiden coming out.

Young Y/N: "AAAHH!!!!" *Hid behind Shadow Y/N*

Raiden: "Do not be frightened, Young Y/N. It is only I, Raiden. I see you witnessed the aftermath of the base."

Kaleb: "You tell us. Looks like Jack forgot to invite us."

Maurice: "Speaking of which, is he alright?"

Raiden: "Jack is doing fine. Unfortunately, we suffered a few casualties."

Wong: "Then we should meet up with the rest of the team."

Raiden: "We currently reside in the Fire Garden. There is no safer place with my Sky Temple compromised. We should make haste."

Raiden made a dome that grabbed all the heroes as they were taken to the Fire Garden for a real gathering.

Meanwhile at Y/N's ruined Mansion....

Dr. Fate, no longer wearing the helm, walked around and saw all the destruction that Giga Metal and the Phantom Heavies left in their wake. Dr. Fate held the helm up in front of him as he seemed worried.

Dr. Fate: "Why can't I stop this? Why won't you let me fight back? How can there be order if Kronika has failed time and time again?! How can this reset be any different?!"

Nabu: "Humanity in all realms breeds Chaos one way or another. There is no balance until Kronika wins! Even the Lords of Order, Orderrealm, Chaosrealm and the Lords of Chaos are not enough for balance. Before Kronika's plan is executed, we must find Y/N. Get. That. Boy!"

Later... At the Shirai Ryu Fire Garden...

Some time later, Raiden and heroes arrived and everyone gathered around the home of the Shirai Ryu Clan to hear the news.

Jacqui: "The Elder Gods are gone? Shinnok is Kronika's son? No wonder the Black Dragon attacked the base. Cassie and Johnny both kicked his ass with some green magic."

Raiden: "It is not vengeance that drives Kronika. It is her pursuit of the balance of light and darkness among all realms. However, with the Cages gone, perhaps it gives her more of an advantage."

Liu Kang: "What can we do, Lord Raiden?"

Raiden: "Before everything, Earthrealm's mightiest warriors have been gathered by Young Y/N and his group. But that will be for naught if Kotal Khan's armies won't join us. Cetrion has informed me that Shao Khan has captured Kotal Khan. We must spare no effort to free him."

Liu Kang: "Kung Lao and I will go."

Kaleb: "And so will I. Somehow Lust found his way back to Outworld."

Elma: "You should rest, Kaleb. You've done enough to assist us."

Kaleb: "If I can beat Lust once, I can do it again. You can come if you want to though."

Elma: "Then I'm coming with you."

Tohru: "Why do you have to go with him?! You already did enough at the compound!"

Elma: "Well, maybe because he needs someone with more muscle."

Tohru: "I'll show you more muscle!!"

Liu Kang: "Tohru, this isn't a time to argue!"

Kung Jin: "Sheesh is this what a harem looks like?"

Nick: "Coin says tails!"

Tohru: "Huh?"

Kaleb: "Alright, Elma, you're coming with me."

Elma: "Yes! Thank you!!"

Tohru: *Quietly* "Dammit! Why her?!"

Nick: "Well to be fair, we left it up to chance and this coin I have."

Kaleb: "And besides, your portal skills are gonna come in handy for Vortex."

Tohru: *Whispers to Elma* "Hear that? He said my portal skills are handy."

Elma: "Bite me!"

Tohru stuck her tongue out which Elma grabbed as the two had a little scuffle.

Kung Jin: "Well since you guys are putting a team together, you can't forget about good support from afar. I'm in."

Kung Lao: "Thanks, Cousin."

Raiden: "Then may the Elder Gods protect-" *Looks down a bit and says in grief* "May you return victorious."

At Sheeva's throne room...

Kitana was trying to convince the Queen of the Shokan herself to help Kotal Khan.

Sheeva: "You are passionate, Princess Kitana. But I am not persuaded, seeing as you aid an old enemy of the Shokan."

"Sheeva!" (Four-armed Shokan Ruler!)

Kitana: "Please, Queen Sheeva. Haven't the Shokan fared better under Kotal Kahn's rule than Shao Kahn's?"

Sheeva: "In some ways. But we can only guess which Kahn prevails in this struggle. We gain no advantage, choosing sides now. Especially with Goro's return."

Guard: "Princess!"

Kitana looked over to see a guard escorting Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Kaleb and Elma to the throne room.

Kitana: "Liu Kang? Why are you here?"

Liu Kang: "Kotal Khan has been kidnapped by the Tarkatans. We must act quickly before he is executed."

Sheeva: *Stands up* "My people will not rally to a Kahn held in chains."

Kitana: "We have Earthrealm's support, your Highness. With yours, we can guarantee victory."

Kaleb: "Not to mention the powerhouse Elma is."

Sheeva: "There is no path to victory without the Tarkatans. If they can be swayed to Kotal Khan, it would be to our advantage to join them."

Kitana: "I will return, Queen Sheeva, with the Tarkatans at my side. Together, we will march on Shao Khan."

Kung Jin: "Shouldn't be so hard."

Meanwhile... Back at the Fire Garden...

Back at square one, Young Y/N was with Shadow Y/N discussing his plans with the Chaos Gauntlet and the Phantom Ruby Prototype while Gabe, Gabriel and Cyber Vortex watched from afar.

Shadow Y/N: "Y/N, you've heard of Sonic Forces before, right?"

Young Y/N: "Sounds like a nice future game."

Shadow Y/N: "It's not that good of a game but maybe this Phantom Ruby could copy all of us."

Young Y/N: "Ooo! I like that. And maybe we could use the Chaos Gauntlet to keep her at bay. Like I said, we don't need Chaos Control to stop Kronika."

Shadow Y/N: "True, but even if we confront that bald idiot, what are we going to do?"

Young Y/N: "I'm going to talk sense into her. I know it sounds stupid but that's my only lead."

Shadow Y/N: "What makes you think she'd come to you, let alone listen to you?"

Young Y/N: "It's obvious to me, she's hiding something. Something that she's too scared to tell us. Let me ask you this question, do villains like her have a secret weakness?"

Shadow Y/N: "A lot of them do but would your plan work if you found it? I mean she's crazy and based on what Raiden said, she's probably gonna go through with this plan no matter what."

Young Y/N: "Trust me. I'll do the best I can. She may be a perfectionist but during my months of training with Master Hand and Crazy Hand, they told me nobody needs to be perfect."

Shadow Y/N: "We'll see if she agrees. Now how do we use this Gauntlet?"

Young Y/N: "Simple, it's powered by all 7 of the Chaos Emeralds. Once worn with all of the Emeralds, you'll be transformed into a Super Transformation like Super Sonic!"

Shadow Y/N: "Are you telling me you can't turn into Super Sonic?"

Young Y/N: "And you can? We're both similar to Sonic and Shadow."

Shadow Y/N: *Grew a tick mark* "You damn idiot! Do you have any idea you would've used your Super Transformation in the first place!?"

Young Y/N: "I'm sorry! You know I'm not really smart! Plus, I was trying to unlock my Super Transformation as well as my Hyper Transformation! Dr. Strange told you I haven't mastered all forms, did he?"

Shadow Y/N: *Only grumbled in annoyance* "Next time, notice that to me."

Young Y/N: "Besides maybe the Gauntlet could work for someone else. I mean I wanna help and kick as much butt as I can but if you guys really think I can't do much, I'll stay behind."

Shadow Y/N: "Hmph. You'll be useful once we find the position for you. You can relax a bit if that helps."

Young Y/N: "I can't if Kronika is still out there and plotting to reset the entire timeline. You can plot the Gauntlet while I plot Vortex's sneaky infiltration."

Shadow Y/N nodded as Young Y/N walked over to Cyber Vortex and Gabriel talking to each other.

Young Y/N: "Hi, you two. I don't wanna interrupt but I think I have some sort of idea for Vortex."

Cyber Vortex: "Finally. Lay it on me."

Gabriel: "What's your plan?"

Young Y/N: "Well, since they didn't really see you come back to your senses, it could be a nice surprise to see you fully functional. I mean you're missing an arm so they'll think you're battle damaged so you can walk around and find a way to map it before they notice anything."

Cyber Vortex: "That kinda sounds like a good plan. I just need a way to map it and send things to you guys. Maybe even a way to... Record..." *Snaps his fingers* "Got it!" *Pulls out Kano's red eye*

Gabriel: "An eye?"

Cyber Vortex: "It's not just any eye. Kano's eye. If I can fit this somewhere to act as a go pro-"

Young Y/N: Then you can sneak around no problem! Brilliant! I think I got just the right tools!"

Young Y/N started to concentrate as he manifested a crafting table but felt a bit tired as the table was big.

Young Y/N: *Panting* "As you can see... I'm still young... and I can't manifest... big things yet. This crafting table will give us some room for building something. I don't think Minecraft has laptops yet right? I mean the Minecraft I played is version 1.0.1."

Nick: "Don't worry, I got this one." *Pulls out a laptop* "This work?"

Young Y/N: "How did you do that?! Are you some sorta psychic or something?"

Nick: "Shh, we don't question where they come from. They just do."

Nick put the table next to Cyber Vortex as he soon got to work, connecting the eye to the computer and morphing it to his body so it could function as a hidden camera.

At the Tarkatan and Kremling Camp...

The Tarkatans and Kremlings were dragging Kotal Kahn to the cage as they resisted.

Kotal Kahn: "Unhand us, wretched reptilian creatures!"

Krusha: "Ah- *Punches Kotal in the face* -Shut up!"

Kotal was knocked unconscious thanks to Krusha's strength as he was tossed into the cage. Ferra Torr, Reptile and Erron Black were being dragged by Tarkatans and Kremlings to later be eaten.

Baraka: "Your meat will be nutritious for our clan."

He chuckled as Reptile growled and they were all chained up in the Tarkatan hut. Jade, however, was being dragged into Skarlet's hut as Shao Kahn and Sindel's Revenant watched.

Shao Kahn: "What is it about Jade's blood that intrigues you so much?"

Skarlet: "Edenian blood is most sweet, your Excellency. It is also a rare commodity. Perhaps if her soul is intact, you may have a chance for more power."

Skarlet went into the hut as Shao Kahn walked off with the caged chariot Kotal was in for the execution.

R. Sindel: "Quite a shame for Jade. I would have made it quicker like last time."

"Sindel!" (Mother of Kitana & Ruler of the Edina Realm!)

Shao Kahn: "Come now, my queen. We shall rule the Outworld together once more."

R. Sindel: "Very well."

Atop of a mountain...

While Kotal was being wheeled away, Kitana, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Kung Jin, Elma and Kaleb watched as they saw everything from way up high.

Liu Kang: "Where are they taking him?"

Kitana: "To the Koliseum, no doubt."

Kung Lao: "Then we attack now."

Kitana: "We'll never see Baraka on Kotal's side by taking the offensive. We must turn Baraka first, then attack Shao Kahn together."

Kung Jin: "I don't think they'll grant an audience. Their instinct will be to attack."

Liu Kang: "Not to mention Jade and Kotal's men. At the first sign of trouble, they could kill them."

Kitana: *Looks at Liu Kang* "I have an idea."

Liu Kang looked at her, as if they had the same idea and smirked a bit. Back down to the camp, Kremlings and Tarkatans were arming themselves as General Klump was patrolling with his troops.

G. Klump: "Move out, gentlemen! Forward, march! Hip! Hup! Hip! Hup! Hip! Hup! Hip! Hup!"

They soon saw three figures from afar but as they got closer, Klump stopped them.

G. Klump: "Company, halt! Stop right there!"

Liu Kang and Kung Lao were wearing disguises that made themselves look like guards as they held Kitana in place.

Liu Kang: "Who is in charge here?"

General Klump and the Tarkatans looked at them as they escorted the guards to Skarlet's hut. In Skarlet's hut, however, she was preparing Jade's body to lose all of its blood.

Skarlet: "Almost done. Time to feast."

Skarlet held Jade's head tightly as she started to suck blood out, making Jade scream in so much pain. She stopped once she saw the guards bring Kitana into her hut and let go of Jade.

Skarlet: "Princess Kitana."

Liu Kang: "Our gift for Shao Kahn. We wish to join his fight against Kotal."

Skarlet: "All those years, the Kahn's high and mighty daughter, now brought low by common soldiers. Have you finally learned that you're no better than the rest of us?"

Skarlet was about to grab her face and feast on her blood but was stopped by Liu Kang.

Liu Kang: "She is for Shao Kahn. We demand to see Baraka."

Skarlet: "You won't be seeing anyone... Liu Kang." *Points at them* "Nor arka!"

The Tarkatans inside charged at Liu Kang and Kung Lao but the two fought back. Kitanan cut the ropes off as she began her battle against Skarlet. The clashed blades but Skarlet ran out of the hut, giving chase as Kitana caught up and dived for her which she missed.

Skarlet: "You betrayed your father, Kitana!"

Kitana: "I was Shao Kahn's "daughter" by conquest. He stole Edenia from its rightful ruler, the father I never knew!"

Skarlet: "Because your people and your bloodline were weak!"

Liu Kang and Kung Lao were supporting Jade up as they helped her meet up with Kitana.

Kung Lao: "As requested, zero casualties."

Kung Jin: *Comes out with Reptile and the others* "Same here! Got old fish face and his friends out. Told you it wouldn't be that hard."

Erron: "Hi, Skarlet."

Erron pulled out his revolver and immediately shot Skarlet perfectly between the eyes, killing her instantly.

Erron: "Bye, Skarlet."

Kitana: "Jade, are you alright? We must find Baraka quickly to save Kotal."

Jade: "Baraka won't join us. Kotal's hate for the Tarkatans runs too deep. If I hadn't stopped him, Kotal would've executed them all."

Baraka: "Yes. Kotal has made his intentions plain!"

Baraka, along with his Tarkatan army and General Klump's Kremling Army arrived and stopped in front of them.

Kitana: "Baraka, please listen. No more Tarkatans or these reptilian creatures need to die."

Baraka: "Kotal Kahn threatens all Tarkatans. In the New Era, Shao Kahn will rule."

Baraka growled and held his arms up, sticking long and sharp blades out as he charged at Kitana, who readied her fans. Baraka slashed his blades but each time he did, they were blocked and parried by Kitana's fans as the princess gave a quick kick to the leg and punched Baraka back once he knelt. Baraka grabbed her leg when she was about to kick him in the face and bit it hard, making her scream in pain and stab his shoulder with her fan. The two backed away in pain and panted as Kitana ran and tried to slash Baraka a bit with the only fan she had. Baraka shot the spikes from his shoulder but Kitana counteracted with a minitornado she formed. Baraka felt a few slashes and felt the fan in his shoulder be taken out but he jumped back and tackled Kitana to the ground when she stopped. He tried to stab her in the face but he missed, which gave Kitana a chance to grab the blade with her fans and broke the blade off. Baraka growled in pain and was pushed off by Kitana as he threw her fans at non-vital parts of his legs and kneed him in the face, breaking a few teeth. Baraka was defeated as he laid on the floor in defeat.

Kitana: "Please. Hear me, Baraka. I speak the truth."

Baraka slowly got up as he groaned in pain. Despite the fight between them ending, everyone was still in battle mode and fighting the enemies.

Kitana: "Jade, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Kung Jin, Elma, Kaleb, Reptile, Erron and Ferra Torr, stand down!"

They tried to stop but couldn't as the Tarkatans and Kremlings were fearless and full of tenacity to keep fighting. The Symbiote King gave Torr one of his symbiotes that took control and roared at the enemies.

Baraka: "Khut! Nar kombat trakka!"

Before more fighting could be ensued, especially with the Needle infused Torr, the Tarkatans stopped fighting and the Kremlings stopped just to listen in.

Baraka: *Stands up* "Speak. You earned your chance."

G. Klump: "What in the Kremlin's Cruelty are you doing?!"

Baraka: "We shall hear them out, General Klump."

Kitana: "Shao Kahn has pitted Outworld's peoples against one another for Millennia. And for what? The honor of dying in his wars? We must fight for each other, Baraka, not with each other. Even Mileena is guilty of such a thing."

Baraka: "Kotal wants us dead. He said as much to my face."

Kitana: "Aid us and I'll make sure you sit at Kotal's table. Which do you prefer, Baraka? To be Shao Kahn and Mileena's slave? Or Kotal Kahn's trusted ally?"

Baraka: "...... No one's ever made Tarkatans such an offer. But these are your words, not his."

Kitana: "Help me save Kotal Kahn. We'll ask him together."

Baraka: "He offers less, I slit his throat."

Kitana: "He offers less, I'll help you."

G. Klump: "Y-you're kidding right?! You hear this too, Krusha?!"

Krusha: "I am so confused..."

Kitana: "You are welcome to join us, General."

G. Klump: "I don't know where King K. Rool is but there's a fat chance I'll ever join you guys!! We serve his majesty for world conquest and that's final!"

Baraka: "Have it your way, General. As of now, you and your Kremlings are banished! Leave and never return or suffer bloodshed."

G. Klump: "I..." *Groans* "Fine... Before we leave, I have one thing to say. Kritters!!"

The Kritter troops rev'd up their Klap Blasters and aimed at the heroes.

G. Klump: "READY! AIM!!"

Before General Klump could call the firing squad, Elma transformed into her true form and glared at the Kremlings, roaring loudly at them!

G. Klump: "ABOUT FACE!!! RETREAT!!!"

Elma: *Growled deeply and said in a deep voice* "And...?"

G. Klump & Krusha: "RUN FOR OUR LIVES!!!!!"

Klump, Krusha and the rest of the Kremlings ran off in terror as fast as they could until they're nowhere to be seen.

Kaleb: *Laughs* "That's right, you Kremling Kowards! RUN!!! Man, I love this dragon! Told you guys she's a powerhouse."

Kung Jin: "I hope she's enough for Shao Khan."

Back in the Real World... In the Woods near the Avengers Compound...

A portal was opened by Tohru's Clone as she and Cyber Vortex came out for their plan.

Cyber Vortex: "Can you guys see anything?"

Gabriel: *From the other side of the portal* "Yup! All clear! Good luck, man!"

C. Tohru: *Closes the portal* "I have to go ask my real counterpart to help us fight Kronika. Be careful."

Cyber Vortex: "I'll be fine. Before I go, I need to look a bit more battle damaged-"

Without finishing his sentence, C. Tohru tore off Cyber Vortex's foot as he fell backwards and held his leg in agonizing pain!

Cyber Vortex: "WHY'D YOU DO THAT FOR!?!? YOU BITCH!!"

C. Tohru: "That was for Mr. Parker. That and I thought you were gonna ask me to damage you more."

Cyber Vortex: "YEAH BUT FUCK!! Just get out of here, I'll try and contact Mother Brain. I hope Y/N's plan will work."

C. Tohru sprouted wings and flew off to meet with her real counterpart. While she did that, Cyber Vortex started calling someone back at the keep...

At Kronika's Keep...

Mother Brain was working on more Cyber Lin Kuei with Frost as they tried to make more S.T.A.R.K. Technology. Suddenly, the two were receiving a call.

M. Brain: "Go for Mother Brain."

Cyber Vortex: "Mother Brain, Forgive me for calling so late but I managed to evade the heroes... those wretched heroes..."

M. Brain: "Sakamoto!? I thought you were defeated or otherwise!"

Cyber Vortex: "Don't worry, I'm safe... For the most part... I failed you..."

M. Brain: "Don't fret. A minor setback. At least you're OK. Alright now let Mother help you out."

Mother Brain wheeled her way to Kronika as she was fixing up her hourglass.

M. Brain: "Lady Kronika! Cyber Vortex was offline for a few hours but he's back online! We can bring him back."

Kronika: "Interesting... Very well. If you are able to fix him up, I'll have Geras pick him up."

M. Brain: "Yes, ma'am!"

Kronika opened a portal as Geras walked in and out into the portal to collect Cyber Vortex. Geras came back to show them the battle damaged cyborg in all his glory.

M. Brain: "Oh it's not so bad. I can fix him and upgrade him no problem and he'll be good as new."

Cyber Vortex: "I will get my revenge on these irritating do-gooders."

M. Brain: "Patience, my friend. Your time with those who damaged you will come soon enough."

Kronika: "All I require is my crown to be ready and full of souls Shang Tsung has collected right before I sent him into the void where I sent Robotnik and his colleagues as punishment for their failures."

M. Brain: "Thank you for the help, Lady Kronika."

Kronika: "My pleasure."

Mother Brain dragged Cyber Vortex back to her lab as the eye in his hand was capturing everything and seen by the others back in the Fire Garden. Mother Brain placed Cyber Vortex on the table as her and Frost kept working on the machines, unaware that Vortex was helping the heroes by letting him play by eye and ear.

Frost: "When the New Era begins, where will Sakamoto be?"

M. Brain: "He'll be my heir to the Space Pirates. Or what's left of him. Sadly, Ridley isn't here to not only help replicate the technology but take down a good portion of the heroes with his brute strength."

Frost: "Why is that?"

Flashback to the Titan War Arc...

Ridley was clawing and stabbing the troops with his savage instincts as he roared in intimidation. However that didn't last long when....

*BOOM*

He was crushed to the ground by the Armor Titan's foot, killing him instantly with just one stomp!

End of Flashback...

M. Brain: "Not sure but it's safe to say he won't be able to help for a while."

As Mother Brain and Frost spoke and looked through the damages, Cyber Vortex took a few deep breaths as he readied Kano's eye and made the intensity strong enough to break Mother's Brain glass!

Frost: "Mother Brain!"

Mother Brain flopped around again, drying up slowly as Frost was instantly met with a repulsor blast to the face, knocking her out instantly.

Cyber Vortex: "Next time, think twice before you transform someone into your robotic slave! Sub-Zero was right. Such wasted potential."

Cyber Vortex used his repulsors to help him float in the air as he snuck out of the room and looked around the place for a planning room of sorts. In a short time, the people watching the footage were able to map out some things and think of a clear path to the Hourglass. Cyber Vortex backed away quickly when he was almost caught by M. Bison and Goro, who were being healed by Moria.

M. Bison: "When I find Sakamoto, I'm gonna break his back and his neck."

Goro: "I need to heal quickly and help Shao Kahn execute Kotal!"

Moira: "Don't worry, I'm almost done!"

"Moira!" (Immoral & Mad Scientist!)

Moira healed Goro's arm as it grew back and he cracked all fours of his knuckles and chuckled sinisterly.

Goro: "Perfect. Thank you, Moira."

Moira: "My pleasure."

Goro walked out and almost saw Cyber Vortex but he stayed on the wall as he soon went the other way and looked around some more. A rather close call. He walked around more and saw a room with lights flickering inside. Taking a peek, Cyber Vortex saw a multitude of creatures and embryos in vats as N. Brio and Fawful were working on them. Cyber Vortex was in a state of shock as he recorded what the doctors were doing.

N. Brio: "Well, Fawful. I must admit your diabolical science really impresses me." *Chuckles*

Fawful: "Fawful thanks you Dr. Nitrus Brio for the compliments. Your praises are like toppings for a sandwich and our plans are the sandwich bread."

N. Brio: "It'll take some time but I think a few of these monsters are ready to be released on Lady Kronika's behalf."

Fawful: "Well, Doctor, before we do, Fawful has a request. Before the time merger occurred, the red and green fink-rats destroyed Cakletta's body in our pursuit for the Bean Star many years ago. With my headgear and machine, Fawful saved her by absorbing her into a gas that is held in the container I have."

The evil bean showed N. Brio the glass container that was nearby. A green gas was moving around and fast as N. Brio examined it.

N. Brio: "Well, Fawful. I sympathize with your leader. However, I suppose I do have something in the mutant blueprints that could make her useful. With the Mojo in my Evolvo-ray, the sky's the limit at a quicker place!!"

Fawful: "Fawful thanks you, Doctor. Kronika has also given instructions to be the commander of this mutant army you constructed for the past years."

N. Brio: "Ah. Just like old times. Unfortunately, N. Gin has been killed by the heroes but no matter. I'll avenge him. That and I don't have a lot of Mojo left in my machine. Human adults and children need an extra amount of Mojo to evolve." *Chuckles* "We'll need to recreate it with my Mutagen formula."

As they spoke, a bright light was emitted in the room. Cetrion had appeared with a pink creature with one eye and Twice.

N. Brio: "Ah Cetrion. Nice of you to join us. We were just finishing up the only three monsters we could make from N.M.E.'s blueprints. We were also going to begin making more Mojo for our mutants."

Cetrion: "I have noticed you only have a few monsters at your disposal. Forgive my mother as she and N.M.E. had a falling out when the Time-Eater was defeated."

N. Brio: "Oh don't worry, Lady Cetrion. Fawful and I were discussing bringing the Beanish witch he knows back to life. With my potions, I will make Fawful's master, the mutants and myself unstoppable!"

Cetrion: "Yes, about that. After careful planning with the Monster Association, Orochi has let us borrow his subordinate to help us with his own army to command. He will be managing you and your mutants to better protect the hourglass."

N. Brio: "N-New management?!"

Cetrion: "Correct. Gentlemen, this is Jin Bubaigawara who has the ability to clone anyone."

Twice: "Pleasure to meet you guys!" *In a deeper voice* "Interesting to see such higher beings serve Kronika!"

"Twice!" (Mentally Ill Clone Maker and Alias Jin Bubaigawara!)

Fawful: "Fawful asks who are you?"

Twice: *In deep voice* " I am Twice. My quirk allows me to clone duplicates but they get more fragile the more I make them. Also I refuse to clone myself for personal reasons, you got it?!"

N. Brio: "Duly noted, Mr. Twice." *Laughs nervously*

Cetrion: "Forgive him, he is the only other person that can clone available at the moment. Infinite is guarding the crown at Shang Tsung's Island. When things are said and done, I will give your monsters a small part of my power to strengthen them."

Fawful: "More powers to our monsters will be powerful sweet desserts."

With that, Cetrion rose to the sky and disappeared, leaving Twice and the new Monster commander with N. Brio and Fawful.

Gyoro Gyoro: "Pleasure to meet you both. I am Gyoro Gyoro. Like Cetrion said, I will be helping you with your mutants. May I suggest snacks?"

Gyoro Gyoro took a sack out and dumped purple looking blobs. They beat like hearts and had little things on the sides. N. Brio picked it up and examined it.

N. Brio: "Hmm, interesting... Tell me, Gyoro. What do you suppose these substantial blobs do?"

Gyoro Gyoro: "Eat it... Find out."

N. Brio: "I appreciate the offer but I'll save it for later." *Puts it in his pocket*

Gyoro Gyoro: "Smart. There's no telling what you'd turn into in a small space like this. You see, we make our Monsters the new fashioned way. We like to tempt or offer power to individuals for survival or for their own greed. Transformations may vary for who eats it but the risk... Let's say it's rewarded."

He spoke without blinking and staring into N. Brio's soul with his one eye as he towered over everyone due to the size difference.

Gyoro Gyoro: "Your methods are slow and have too many risks everytime you turn an animal into a mutant like the Bandicoot. Would you like them to be more powerful than you could ever imagine? No chance of a betrayal? Then work for me and that'll happen. Do we have a deal?"

With all this new information that he gathered, Cyber Vortex snuck away quickly. He soon walked into a hidden room that looked very interesting. It was a board with a bunch of plans on them, listing what needs to be done in order to harness the power of the Hourglass and even a map of the whole keep.

Cyber Vortex: "Holy shit, I've hit the jackpot. Are you guys getting this?"

Back at the Fire Garden...

The Heroes were watching Cyber Vortex capture everything as they saw the board. He placed the eye on the table to get a good look at the board.

Nick: "Ugh, I don't have enough arms to draw on this etch-a-sketch!"

The Toon King used his power copying ability to mimic Insanity's arm duplication and made two more arms that took control of the etch-a-sketch while he took his phone out and took pictures of the evidence.

Jacqui: "It's odd when you look at it. I mean why would Kronika need a hidden room with a board to show the plan and a map of her own Keep?"

P. Jax: "Well we know she needs her crown but look at the writing. It's showing how to take the crown and where everyone else will be."

Spy: "Wait a minute. This isn't Kronika's plan. Someone is planning on taking the crown for themselves."

Takeda: "The question is who?"

Before things could be figured out, Cyber Vortex left the room due to him feeling like there was an evil presence nearby.

Cyber Vortex: "It doesn't matter who it is, as long as we got a good map and what we can do to stop Kronika-"

Cyber Vortex was grabbed by the neck as he looked to see M. Bison holding him.

M. Bison: "Welcome back, Sakamoto."

Cyber Vortex: *Gasped* "Bison!? I thought you were being healed!"

M. Bison: "Moria's a fast healer. Too bad you aren't."

Bison lifted him in the air as he slammed Cyber Vortex on his back which caused him to scream in pain. M. Bison looked at the hand that had Kano's eye as he grabbed it and started to crush it with his brute strength.

M. Bison: "Clever boy. You know how to adapt."

M. Bison stomped on Cyber Vortex's stomach as he used all his strength to beat him up. He rolled quickly before he could be stomped again and used his repulsors to move him far. Activating his artillery, Cyber Vortex fired but the bullets and missile were deflected and blocked by the red baron. M. Bison laughed as he floated in the air before teleporting above Cyber Vortex and fell down, raising his foot and slamming it on the ground. Cyber Vortex dodged before he got hit and used his only working hand to electrocute M. Bison as he opened his mouth and spewed flames. Seeing that it bothered him, Cyber Vortex had his face grabbed and slammed on the ground. He was slammed on the ground multiple times as sparks and wires came out a bit as he glitched.

Cyber Vortex: *Glitching* "I-I-I-I-I already have the place mapped out, Bison. It d-d-d-d-doesn't matter w-w-w-w-what happens to m-m-m-me."

M. Bison: "As long as I kill you, I don't care."

Kronika: "Enough, Bison!"

M. Bison looked up to see Kronika, Grodd and Geras approaching them.

Kronika: "I had a feeling Sakamoto would be back to his default settings so I sent Geras and Grodd to follow him."

Geras: "I apologize for failing, Lady Kronika."

Grodd: "As am I."

Kronika: "Do not fret, Geras and Grodd. You can let go of him, Bison."

M. Bison grumbled as he got off and Cyber Vortex glitched a bit more. Kronika had a soft look towards Cyber Vortex as he used her telekinesis to lift him up and hold him softly by the neck.

Kronika: "Oh, Vortex.... This was not my plan for you... You were made for so much more. If only you didn't react so violently, we would have resolved this perfectly."

Kronika wanted to pet Vortex like a dog but he flinched, prompting Kronika to shush him in a mother-like fashion.

Kronika: "Come now. It'll be alright. Don't be afraid. I won't kill you just yet. Bison already punished you enough."

M. Bison: "He also used Kano's eye to map out the Keep."

Kronika: "No reason to fear. I can always make changes."

Kronika waved her hands as the Keep changed its interior and the place was almost impossible to map out. She then looked at Cyber Vortex with a smile.

Kronika: "How about you deliver a message to Y/N and his allies?"

Back at Outworld... In the Koliseum...

Kotal Kahn was chained to the floor as the arena had people roaring with cheers while Shao Kahn encouraged more cheering. Those at the execution were Mileena, Lust, Revenant Sindel and Revenant Kitana with a portal opening as Goro came out to aid them.

Goro: "I hope it's not too late, Shao Kahn."

Shao Khan: "You made it just in time to witness history." *Shouts to his people* "You've suffered too long at this pretender's hands! But I've returned, and I will save you from his madness!"

Goro: "Why do you get to kill him? I was promised his head and I will have it for killing me in the future."

Mileena: "He ordered my execution too. I would have killed him if not for the time-merger."

Lust: "I bet his brain would taste delicious~"

Shao Kahn: "I will kill him for taking my throne! *Summons his hammer* Only I can rebuild the empire. All realms will tremble before me! Outworld will again be conquerors, never the conquered!"

Goro: "I'd like to see you try."

Goro and Shao Khan got closer as they stared down one another. However, before they could resolve their petty argument...

*BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM*

The sealed door was broken open by Elma's strength and the battering ram the Shokan used. Kitana, Sheeva and Baraka led their armies as they approached Shao Kahn.

Shao Kahn: "Where's this boldness you've been hiding, Kitana? Your own undead revenant is more brass and bold. Had you shown this sooner, I'd have no need for Mileena."

Mileena felt a bit bad when she heard it as she heard more slander...

Kitana: "My 'sister' is an unholy monster that I was told you created. Exactly the type of monster you are, 'father'."

Kitana wielded her fan and took the first swipe but Shao Kahn backed away from each swipe and took swings at her with his hammer. Battle for everyone ensued as Jade and Elma tried to free Kotal as Kitana stabbed Shao Kahn's side, making him kneel but the Kollector attacked her before she could keep fighting her 'father'.

Kollector: "Ungrateful shrew. Born to privilege which you throw away."

Kitana: "Who are you to judge me?"

Kollector: "You have not known cold or hunger. If you had, you would value the gifts Shao Kahn gave you."

People cheered and jeered at the fights as Kitana glared at the fallen Kollector as she had other matters to attend to.

Kitana: "Be grateful you still breathe-"

Just then, Kitana was body tackled by Mileena and Lust as he held her by her waist with one pair of arms and used her other arms to squeeze her head gently.

Mileena: "All I ever wanted from you was familial love and for you to accept me. To have a loving family is all I ever wanted. But if you want an unholy monster..." *Voice mixed with Lust's* "YOU'LL GET ONE!!!!"

Lust licked Kitana's face but was stopped by Ferra Torr using Needle as Kaleb used Insanity to bite her hands.

Lust: "Argh! You pests!"

Needle: "Careful now, Lust. This new host is stronger than yours."

Lust and Needle charged at each other and started their fight as Insanity tried his hand at putting Lust in a chokehold.

With Shao Kahn...

Shao Kahn was moving away as Kotal caught up to him and threw sand at his face so that he could tackle him to the wall once he was distracted. Kotal slammed Shao Kahn into a wall, knocking a few people in the front row to fall off, as they roughed each other and Kotal tried to break his back. That failed as Shao Kahn headbutted him and wrapped his arms around his back and squeezed hard. Once that was done, he laid Kotal against his shoulders and took a deep breath before slamming him down and breaking his spine in half!

Jade: "Kotal!"

Kotal laid on the ground as Goro arrived and jumped on Kotal's stomach, grabbing both of his arms and legs to perform his fatality. However, just before he could rip Kotal's limbs off, he was slashed in the side by Kitana, followed by a bicycle kick from Liu Kang and an arrow to the shoulder from Kung Jin. As Goro let go and stumbled back, Jade began to hit him back with her Bo staff and Kung Lao slashed Goro's chest with his hat. Once Goro came back to his senses, the three began their own fight. Kitana opened her fan blades and walked over to Shao Kahn as Kung Jin, Liu Kang and Elma arrived to help her.

Kitana: "Surrender or face the consequences."

Kitana's future revenant and Revenant Sindel appeared to help Shao Kahn, as much as Revenant Kitana and Revenant Sindel didn't want to.

Shao Khan: "Surrender? On the brink of victory? You're as feeble minded as Jerrod."

Kitana: "King Jerrod. The father you murdered and stole me from." *Looks at R. Kitana and R. Sindel* "Why won't either of you help me? You two know he's murdered the father we never knew! The husband you loved!"

R. Kitana: "As much as I despise working with our false father, I need to in order to get what I want from Kronika. Only then will I rule, never be ruled!"

R. Sindel: "I agree with your future self. I never cared for Shao Kahn when he returned but being reunited with my family for a part of the New Era will make it all worth it. Just Mother and Daughter."

Shao Kahn: *Offended by R. Sindel's words* "How dare you?! I wanted you! Not your weak heir. I only kept her to appease you!! Do not expect any mercy for any of you!!!"

Shao Kahn swung his hammer at them as his first attack but the quick fighters were able to dodge the hammer. Revenant Kitana charged at her past self and the two clashed their blades together. The two princesses were pushing against each other but Past Kitana dropped one fan, caught it with the other hand and then stabbed Revenant Kitana's stomach, giving her the opportunity to pull the blade out and kick her older self away. Shao Kahn shoulder tackled Kitana far away but was hit in the chest a few times by Kung Jin's arrows. When that happened, Liu Kang took the time to bicycle kick Shao Kahn a foot or two back. Sindel's Revenant noticed this and used her hair to grab Liu Kang's neck and yank him towards her. She started to use her loud screech, making Liu Kang struggle in her grasp. If it weren't for Elma's intervention, Liu Kang would have suffered a terrible fate. She threw her trident which stabbed Sindel's side, making her let go of Liu Kang before his ears bled. Sindel's Revenant was kicked away by Elma but she was hit with a sneak attack which was a hammer to the back, launching her into a wall.

Shao Kahn: "Never hurt my wife! Know your place, wench!"

Shao Kahn was hit in the back a few times by Kung Jin's arrows but looked back in anger. He grabbed one of the arrows that dug in his chest and broke it. He growled and charged at Kung Jin with full speed!

Kung Jin: "Oh no..."

The daring opponent waited patiently as Shao Kahn was closer and closer until he was about to hit Kung Jin, the Shalion Archer jumped over Shao Kahn and jumped onto his back, using his bow to choke Shao Kahn. The merciless ruler started to walk back, trying to grab Kung Jin but Liu Kang kept him distracted by taking out his nun-chucks and hitting Shao Kahn with them. He started to hit Shao Kahn with a few fire attacks but the evil villain's blood boiled and started to grab Kung Jin, slamming him into Liu Kang. He grabbed ahold of Kung Jin's bow and snapped it in two with one hand. He summoned his hammer and about to slam down but was slashed in the chest again by Kitana, who managed to defeat her past self. Liu Kang and Kung Jin got up as they got into offensive stances. A kick was delivered to Shao Kahn's back as Elma had a bit of damage but managed to help out. With Shao Kahn on the ground, Liu Kang delivered a kick to the face, Kung Jin delivered a punch and Kitana dealt a swing with her fan. Shao Kahn got up, grabbing Liu Kang by the neck and ready to snap it but Kitana stabbed Shao Kahn in the chest with her fan blades while Elma kicked Shao Kahn again and slashed his calves with her claws, making Shao Kahn kneel while Liu Kang, Kung Jin and Kitana dealt multiple punches to the ruler's face. The evil villain's face bled and he was too distracted to do anything. He was grabbed by the helmet and his face was slammed into Kitana's knees. Elma had gotten in front and charged at him, punching him in the chest, making a hole but also launching Shao Kahn into a wall. He peeled off the wall and fell on the floor while Kitana got on top of him, yanking the fan blades out and opening them. With one swipe, Shao Kahn screamed in pain as his eyes were slashed by the princess. Shao Kahn's eyes bled as he groaned and tried to get back up but was kicked down by Kitana.

Baraka: "They did it...."

Erron Black: "Of course they did."

Kitana got off as she walked over to Kotal Kahn and Jade, who was feeling his legs to see if he was alright.

Jade: "Do you feel anything?"

Kotal: "Shao Kahn has crippled me... Left me defenseless...."

Jade: "Not while I am by your side." *Smiles at him* "We can heal you in the Soul Chamber."

Kotal: "You would have me? Even with my hardened heart?"

Jade: "I know your heart." *Puts her hand on his chest* "It can change."

Kotal grabbed her hand and smiled as Kitana bowed to him.

Kitana: "It is over Kotal Kahn. The throne is secure."

Kotal: "Thank you."

Sheeva and Baraka walked over to Kotal, waiting for their answers.

Kotal: "Baraka. Sheeva. I have not served your people well. Yet still you aided me. I will not forget."

Baraka: "We don't need charity. We will share in Outworld's rule."

Kotal: "That... Is for her-" *Points at Kitana* "-to decide."

Kitana: "What...?"

Kotal: "The throne is yours. You have united Outworld. Kitana Khanum."

Kung Lao: *Looks at Liu Kang* "She's now officially out of your league."

Kitana: "I am humbled, Kotal. From this day on, may all our people fight together as one. From this day on, may all our peoples fight together as one!"

The audience cheered as Mileena looked to see Kitana with her guard down. She growled as Lust took over her rage and fully formed. Kitana turned to see Lust charging at her but couldn't react in time to dodge. However, Lust was grabbed by webs that stuck to his back as Kaleb held them back. Needle charged at Lust and tackled him, smashing his fists on his head and roaring. He grabbed his jaw and started ripping him off his host as Mileena watched her source of power be held up by the giant beast. Needle bit on Lust as he started eating him while Lust squealed and tried to get away to no avail. Needle finished eating him as he burped.

Needle: "He didn't taste so good at all."

Ferra: "Victory! Woooo!!" *Shaking Torr's head* "Good boy!"

Torr: "Good boy... Thanks, sludge."

Needle: "Thank you for the brute strength."

Mileena: "My power!!"

She was grabbed by the neck as Elma held her up and glared at her. Mileena tried to free herself as she glared back at her. Eventually she gave up and accepted her fate...

Mileena: "Go ahead. Finish me!"

Kitana saw Mileena being held up as he started walking over to Elma and signaled her to let go.

Kitana: "That's enough, Elma."

Elma: "But-"

Kaleb: *Crossed his arms and Sighs* "Elma... let's hear Kitana out..."

Elma sighed as she dropped Mileena and Kitana looked at her panting heavily. Mileena looked away as she rubbed her neck until Kitana stuck her hand out.

Kitana: "I haven't treated you right. But I'd like to. I'd like to give you a proper family this time. Let's fight Kronika side-by-side. As sisters."

Kitana offered a warm smile as Mileena growled a bit....

Mileena: "I don't need your pity."

Kitana: "I am not offering pity, Mileena. I know what it's like to not have a real family. To be used for Shao Kahn's goals. I'm sorry for calling you a monster. I haven't gotten to know my little sister well. And I'd like to try that."

Mileena started to tear up as she pulled her mask down, looking at Kitana. Mileena didn't grab her hand as she got up and hugged her immediately, letting happy tears fall from her eyes as Kitana hugged back, slowly treating her like a new sister. Kung Jin and Kung Lao looked at each other and fist-bumped a bit while Kaleb smiled a bit, seeing Mileena be happy.

Elma: "Is it a good idea to keep her alive, Kaleb?"

Kaleb: "Honestly, since Lust was taking advantage of her family issues... I think I'll let it slide a bit. Besides, I... Kinda had the hots for her since MK9...."

Kung Jin: "Yup, it's official. Your taste in women is weird."

Kaleb blushed and chuckled as Kitana spotted her and Sindel's revenant starting to wake up from the fight as she approached them. Before she could speak with them, black clouds started to appear as red lightning struck down and Dark Raiden appeared with Revenant Liu Kang and Kung Lao in tow!

Liu Kang: "Lord Raiden!"

Kitana: "Are those Liu Kang and Kung Lao?"

Kung Jin: "Yeah they're revenants Quan Chi made."

D. Raiden: "We don't ask for a battle. We are here to bring Sindel and Kitana back to the keep."

Revenant Liu Kang and Kung Lao helped Kitana and Sindel's revenants up as they looked over and saw their past selves. Past Liu Kang walked over to confront the current thunder god.

Liu Kang: "Lord Raiden, why are you aiding Kronika's followers?"

D. Raiden: "She has offered me a chance to keep Earthrealm away from all other realms in the New Era. I fear none of you will bring balance if you win. That is why I will not let you ruin my goals."

Liu Kang: *Puts his hands on his shoulder* "Lord Raiden, you're being irrational-"

Dark Raiden yelled as he used his lightning to shoot Liu Kang far away from him as he started charging his lighting!

D. Raiden: "ENOUGH!!! NONE OF YOU COULD UNDERSTAND MY INTENTIONS!!! THERE ARE GREATER THREATS TO EARTHREALM THAN YOU COULD POSSIBLY IMAGINE AND I AM THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN STOP THEM!!! BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY!!"

R. Kung Lao: "Raiden! That is enough!! This is no time to attack! We came for who we needed."

Dark Raiden made his lightning go away as he glared at the heroes before grabbing the revenants and making their escape. Kitana was holding Liu Kang and making sure he was OK.

Kitana: "Liu Kang, speak to me!"

Liu Kang: "I'm alright, Kitana." *Sits up as he holds his head* "We must tell Lord Raiden. Our Raiden."

At the Fire Garden...

Meanwhile, Shadow Y/N and Jack were trying to fix the feed as there was nothing showing.

Shadow Y/N: "GRRRR!!!! Damnit!! Fucking M. Bison just had to show up!!" *Bangs the controls*

Jack: "Shadow Y/N, calm down!!"

Shadow Y/N: "You shut the fuck up!! Screw it!!"

Shadow Y/N kicked the table in anger as he started storming off. After he walked off, a portal opened as Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Kung Jin, Kaleb and Elma walked through it.

Liu Kang: "Where is Lord Raiden? We have urgent news."

Raiden came out of the temple as Liu Kang recapped him on what happened while they were gone.

Raiden: "The news on Outworld is hopeful yet grim. To think my future self would aid Kronika in her plan."

Kaleb: "Shadow Y/N told us that he switched sides because of Kronika promising to keep Earthrealm from all realms."

Kung Jin: "Doesn't she realize all these promises contradict each other?"

Jack: "I think the people she hires do. We sent Vortex to look through her keep and we found plans for someone to usurp her for the crown."

Gabe: "We took a bunch of pictures before they cut the feed off!"

Jacqui: "That's all we saw before it was cut off by M. Bison."

P. Jax: "Oof, yeah that guy really knew how to pack a punch. We're losing a lot of good people left and right here!"

Kaleb: "Shit... Where's Y/N?"

Nick: "I think he's training with Kenshi and Takeda. Why?"

Kaleb: "Just making sure. Show us the pictures you took."

Nick grabbed the computer and closed his eyes, opening them again as they started projecting the images and videos on the wall. It showed Vortex being fixed up, who was being healed, Monsters and Mutants being created, everything that happened beforehand.

Kaleb: "And he's not back yet... Shit... Shit shit shit..." *Breathing heavily* "We gotta get the guy back!"

Maurice: "Kaleb, Kaleb! Calm down. It'll be OK. Vortex is persistent and fights until one falls. He'll be OK. I know it."

Kaleb: "Alright..." *Takes a deep breath and exhales* "Alright..."

Outside of the dojo, a portal was opened as Jax looked to see it forming sand.

P. Jax: "Shit! We got another Kronika portal!"

The heroes jumped out and started arming themselves as Moira came out, holding Vortex's sparking and glitching body by the head.

Moira: "Relax, don't shoot the place up. Just here to leave something that belongs to you."

Vortex was still in rough shape after his defeat as he sparked and looked up to see the heroes looking at him in shock. Moira let go of him as yellow liquid formed in her tubes. She sprayed it at Vortex as he stopped sparking and she stopped spraying him with her healing powers.

Moira: "Those sparks were bothering me a bit."

Gabriel: "Why'd you heal Vortex?"

Moira: "Kronika wanted her message to come across clearly."

Moira walked back as she was teleported back to the keep while Kaleb and Maurice grabbed Cyber Vortex and helped him up.

Kaleb: *Helps Cyber Vortex* "Vortex! Speak to me, man!"

Cyber Vortex's eye started playing a hologram, showing Kronika.

Kronika: "Hello, everyone. If you're seeing this message, I found your spy. I commemorate your attempt to stop me but even with what you tried, I managed to change the keep's map. You will have no way of finding my hourglass or navigating the interior. However, I will give you a chance to yield. If not, I wish you luck. You will need it."

The message stopped as Cyber Vortex sat up and groaned, holding his head. Shadow Y/N came back and saw Cyber Vortex.

Shadow Y/N: "Sakamoto?!"

Cyber Vortex: "Shadow Y/N? Did you see the message?!

Shadow Y/N: "I didn't but how the hell did you get back?!"

Cyber Vortex: "Kronika found out and brought me back so she could tell us to give up."

Shadow Y/N: *Growled angrily* "Like hell we would! At least you're fine, Vortex."

Cyber Vortex: "Fine?! Do I look fine to you?! I'm missing legs, an arm and it looks like I was beaten to a pulp!!"

Jack: "Right. Let's get you in the Dojo."

Jack helped Cyber Vortex to the temple as Shadow Y/N looked through the photos.

Shadow Y/N: "Hmph! The jokes on her! We have pictures of her lair!"

Raiden: "Unfortunately, she has claimed to have shifted her lair to a different layout."

Shadow Y/N: *Thinking* "Hmm... Okay. Let's just work this out slowly then. No one can find it right?"

Raiden: "It is beyond realms and beyond my sight."

Scorpion: "Do you know of Kharon, Shadow Y/N?"

Sub-Zero: "Kharon... Of course!"

Shadow Y/N: "Who's Kharon?"

Scorpion: "Master of the ancient ship of the dead. Sub-Zero and I met him during our time as Revenants."

Sub-Zero: "He travels in the space beyond realms, transporting damned souls to the Netherrealm."

Scorpion: "If the keep lies there, Kharon knows its location."

Raiden: "Would he help us?"

Scorpion: "It is possible but I cannot be sure."

Raiden: "I urge you to investigate."

Scorpion: "We will leave immediately."

Wong: "I will come to aid you."

Sub-Zero, Scorpion and Wong traveled to the Netherrealm as Jacqui looked at Raiden.

Jacqui: "Wish we had more manpower."

Raiden: "The shaolin will join us. Liu Kang, Kung Lao and Kung Jin will aid the monks' preparation. However, I have a job for you, Takeda, Jackson, Spy, Eyeless Jack and Jack. Something that has caught my attention is Kronika's behavior. While mighty, she is not all-powerful. Otherwise why would she not only steal Jinsei but to ask for us to surrender despite how far we've come?"

Jacqui: "Maybe building strength?"

Raiden: "A distinct probability."

P. Jax: "Then what's her next move?"

Raiden: "With the Dragon Grotto's Jinsei fountain sealed, there is no greater energy source in Earthrealm than the Well of Souls beneath Shang Tsung's Island."

Jacqui: "Then we better go check it out."

Shadow Y/N: "Not without some help. Take this Phantom Ruby Prototype and copy your data so you can clone each other."

Shadow Y/N tossed them the Prototype Phantom Ruby as Jacqui and Jax went over to speak with Takeda and Jack as Raiden went back into the temple to meditate and look for any signs of Kronika tampering with time.

At Kronika's Keep...

Kronika was fixing up the hourglass as Dark Raiden, Grodd and his clone and Revenant Liu Kang were facing their backs towards her, having questions in their heads.

Kronika: "I'm sure my message has come across to Raiden and his team. Maybe they will yield before the final battle."

She could tell they all had questions as she pointed it out to them.

Kronika: "Speak your mind."

R. Liu Kang: "We've lost Shao Kahn and Goro."

Grodd: "We lost Sektor and the Black Dragon. There is not enough in Chisaki's Yakuza, Stark technology or League of Villain members that could benefit us."

D. Raiden: "And the footage we received was from an old student of mine. It entails us having a mole in our midst. One that could ruin our plans of full protection for Earthrealm."

Grodd #2: "You raise a good point. I nor my original self have found this traitor in the keep."

R. Liu Kang: "Maybe Raiden will have a vision of him."

D. Raiden: "I gave up on those visions long ago after what you said at my sky temple. Just like how I should have given up on you. Your past self is a lost cause too. I am only concerned about this traitor being untraceable."

Kronika: "The mole will be found, Raiden. While your past self and his allies have fought tooth and nail through the clones made by Bubaigawara and Infinite, our most important work has continued, uninterrupted, on Shang Tsung's Island."

Grodd: "What could possibly be there that could-"

Kronika: "I need to be close to my hourglass if I can achieve such great power. Whenever I am away, I can only teleport and float around. However, the crown I need is being filled with souls that contain every minute, every second lived. So much time to help me travel far from my hourglass in case I ever need to leave and access only a fraction of my true power if necessary."

R. Liu Kang: "Shang Tsung fed off souls. He collected them."

Kronika: "In his Well of Souls which remains untouched, beneath his island. A destiny I crafted for Shang Tsung, in case I ever had need. That is why I enlisted Infinite, Jackson, Ermac and Noob Saibot to keep it safe in case its secrets get out. That is why I recruited you all. To aid me while I work behind closed doors."

Revenant Liu Kang smirked as he, Dark Raiden and the two Grodds bowed.

Kronika: "Shang Tsung's souls will be mine."

On a ship... With Jacqui, Jack, Spy, Takeda, Jax & EJ...

Later, The group were setting sail to Shang Tsung's island as Jacqui and Jax were standing by the dock.

P. Jax: "How's the view?"

Jacqui: "No sign of the mystical barrier you mentioned."

P. Jax: "Oh you'll know it when it comes."

Jacqui: "How are you feeling?"

P. Jax: "For the first time in a while, in control. I got tossed into the deep end of this world of gods and monsters. But now, knowing my future, I feel like I've finally come up for air. Those bad things that happened to me... I mean, will it happen to me? Like Raiden said, it's gonna be different. Isn't this good news?"

Jacqui: "The things that happened to my Dad. That trauma he suffered. It's why my parents met. They fell in love while he was in recovery. If they don't happen, you and Mom may not meet. I may never be born."

P. Jax: "Jacqui, I can't pretend I get all this cossmic time stuff, but I do know you are here for a reason. You're not just some random accident."

Jacqui: "I hope so."

Jax comforted his future daughter as Takeda, The Spy, EJ and Jack saw from afar.

Takeda: "Still unreal to see them together. It's gonna be awkward trying to meet her father for the first time again."

Spy: "Agreed."

Jack: *Stands up* "Heads up. We're nearing the island."

The ship started entering the green smog around the island as they started to pass a bunch of wrecked ships. They passed the mystic gate as they saw the iconic Mortal Kombat symbol itself in plain view.

Jacqui: "We made it."

P. Jax: "Here we go again."

Once they docked the ship, the group exited and walked through the many statues. They saw figures floating in the air as they got closer and saw the rotting corpses of monks hanging from the ceiling. They passed them and arrived in the main arena itself...

P. Jax: "When I was here for the tournament, there were people everywhere. These guys looked a lot younger. Seems like only yesterday."

Jacqui: "Ugh.." *Pulls out her scanner* "Guess after Shang Tsung died, this place did too."

Takeda: "Did he die though? I don't think we ever saw him dying and I don't think any of our parents recall that either."

Jacqui: "Well at least nobody's home. So much for needing stealth. We could have brought Jack's friends."

Spy: "That's true. At least we copied each other's data on the Phantom Ruby just incase."

P. Jax: "Kinda hoping Raiden's wrong about the Well of Souls. I don't wanna be here longer than we-"

Just then, Jacqui's machine started to beep as it detected people nearby.

Jacqui: "Multiple contacts!"

Jack: "How many?"

Jacqui: "Two! But one of 'em's circling us real fast!"

Everyone started to look around as they started to see purple spinning around as it knocked the device off Jacqui's hands. Jax took a leap of faith as he punched the runner in the face, making him stop and start sliding on the floor. The man stood up and revealed to be Kobal's revenant!

R. Kobal: "Kronika knew you'd send someone here!"

Jade's revenant came out of hiding as she summoned her Bo Staff. Jack and Takeda got into fighting positions. Suddenly, EJ put his arms out and looked back at Jack and Takeda.

Jack: "Are you sure?"

EJ nodded as Kobal spun his blades around while chuckling. He charged straight at EJ as he tried slashing him, getting good slashes but were being healed. He didn't feel the pain as he tried to look at the pattern of his movements. The rest walked away to let EJ keep the villains busy. However, Jade started to spin her staff and slammed it on the ground as life was being given to the dead Monks. Spy tried to shoot Revenant Jade in the head but his bullet was knocked away by her staff.

R. Jade: "Rise in Shinnok's name!"

The Monks came to life as they either freed themselves from their nooses or stood from where they sat. They went for the heroes as they got into fighting positions.

R. Jade: "Do not disturb Kronika's work!"

Jacqui: "Disturb? Try ending."

P. Jax: "You're done messing with the Well of Souls."

R. Jade: "You're not as strong as you think, Jax. As I recall, Sindel made quick work of you."

The zombies charged at Jax and his daughter as they started blocking and attacking the Monks that outnumbered them. One by one, the zombies were being killed and dealt with while EJ began his assault on R. Jade by appearing out of thin air and punched her hard in the face. Jack grabbed the Phantom Ruby Prototype and made a Phantom Clone of EJ that glitched a lot but saw what was going on as it started helping its original copy. Jax punched through zombies as Jacqui blocked and kicked a couple of zombies that were her way as she shot one down with a barrage of bullets from her gauntlets. Spy shot a couple of Zombies in the head with his gun as he ran out of bullets and resorted to using his butterfly knife on the horde. The horde was getting smaller and smaller with the trio as Jack and Takeda were able to hold their ground with their blades. Jacqui, Spy and Jax managed to take down the horde of zombies as they saw R. Jade and R. Kobal were busy with EJ.

Jacqui: "C'mon, let's get that crown!"

P. Jax nodded as Spy, Jack and Takeda walked with Jacqui to the Well. They walked through the gate to see a deep cave with bones of former victims. They walked through the cave as Young Jax stepped on a skull, ignoring the loud noise it made. The torches were able to give enough flames for him to light up one of his cigars while the rest looked around.

Takeda: "So this is Goro's lair?"

P. Jax: "Thankfully, no Goro."

P. Jax: "And no Shang Tsung either. He locked me up here back at my first tournament. Never thought I'd be back..."

Jacqui: "Remember where a well of souls might be?"

P. Jax: "Couldn't tell ya. I was pretty beat up. It's all a bit hazy."

Spy: "I'm sure if we continue the path, we will find it soon."

Spy lit up one of his cigars as everyone continued their trail until they saw a green light in a large room. They turned the corner to see a well of innocent souls surrounding a crown as if it was feeding it.

Jacqui: "I'm guessing this is it."

P. Jax: "That crown. Five bucks it's Kronika's."

Takeda: "It's drawing souls from the Well."

Spy: "Must be where it draws power from."

P. Jax: "No way that thing isn't guarded. Let's grab-and-go before whoever's on duty gets back."

????: "We never left..."

From one of the pillars, Ermac floated forward from the Well while Infinite came down from the sky. Jax and Jacqui saw Ermac and drew their guns, shooting him as much as they had left. Ermac used his magic to block off the bullets as Infinite used the Ruby to summon Noob Saibot, who started making Shadow Clones, surrounding the team. The clones charged as they were shot with the last bullets Jax and Jacqui had. The rest were dealt with by blades from the other members as Jax and Jacqui dealt punches to multiple clones. More and more came and were still being dealt with as Ermac grabbed P. Jax and Jaqui with his powers brought them to him while Takeda, Spy and Jack were overwhelmed by the shadow clones as they held the trio down.

Ermac: "We meet again, Jackson Briggs."

P. Jax: "Ermac. You look just as disgusting as before. I heard my daughter whooped your ass."

Ermac: "I failed to defeat her but this time, I will fix my mistake by ending you."

Infinite: "Don't kill the guy. We need his future self for Kronika's doing."

Jacqui: *Struggling* "What... The hell are you talking about...?"

Ermac: "Kronika enlisted the help of your father."

Jacqui: "Fat... Chance he did..."

Infinite: "Are you done bickering? Let's just kill these weaklings already."

Jack managed to break free by hitting his head back and making one the clones let go for him to get himself back up and defeat the other shadow clones. He helped the other guys as they used their weapons to break free and tried to hit Ermac but he dodged in time. Ermac tossed Past Jax aside as he tossed Jacqui away as she got back up and armed her gauntlets ready. Ermac floated to her as he glared at her, glowing green. Suddenly, another Ermac appeared but was glitching red a bit as Infinite nodded at them.

Ermac: "We will not repeat the same mistake!!"

Ermac and his clones began their fight as Infinite put the Phantom Ruby away as he floated in the air and stared down the other members.

Infinite: "It's quite enjoyable to see pitiful fools wasting their own lives attempting to stop us."

Infinite started making Phantom Copies of Chaos, Metal Sonic, Sindel's Revenant and Zavok!

Infinite: "Now to even up the odds."

The menacing jackal commanded his clone troops to commence their battle. Jack pulled out the Ruby Prototype and started making clones of himself, EJ, Takeda, Spy, Jacqui and Jax.

Infinite: "What?! Impossible! Where did you get that?!"

Jack: "Heroes are always prepared."

Infinite growled as he summoned a Phantom Copy of Shao Kahn, who equipped his hammer and stared them all down. The clones charged at each other as Infinite came down to deal with the original copies. He summoned his sword and slashed it down on them but they dodged just in time!

Infinite: "If you'd think I'm weak since you have the ruby prototype, then think again."

Infinite started swinging and went for Jack and the Prototype Phantom Ruby. The daring manipulator, Jack quickly threw the Ruby at Takeda, who used a whip to grab it and bring it to him while Infinite tried to slash the Ruby in mid-air. Takeda threw it to Spy, who threw it back to Takeda, who threw it to Jack. It was now a mix of hot potato and monkey in the middle as Jack tried to get close to Infinite and activate his Genetic Powers while the clones were busy.

With the Clones...

The Phantom clones for both sides were busy battling one another as Jack was sneaking to get a good feel for Zavok as he battled with Spy. Shao Kahn's clone saw Jack trying to hit Zavok and body tackled him far as he tried to slam his hammer down. He was stopped by a sharp whip that hit his helmet, getting his attention and turning to see Takeda throwing both whips at him, causing one to go around him. While that happened, Jacqui and Jax's Phantom clones dealt with Chaos' Phantom while EJ dealt with the Sindel and Metal Sonic clones. Jax and Jacqui tried shooting Chaos but he was able to block and tank the bullets that hit him. One was coming for his head as he blocked the bullets and used his water arms to grab Jacqui and Jax's Phantom Clones by the head in an attempt to drown them!

P. C. Jax: *Struggling to breathe* 'Can't... Breathe...!'

Jax's clone started charging up his arms to shoot out heat blasts as he felt his eyes getting heavy. At the last minute, the heat blasts were shot and hit Chaos in the head, making him stumble back and let go of them. Jacqui and Jax's clones were gasping for air as they felt weak that they couldn't stand up. With a little bit of stamina left, they shot as much as they had left at Chaos' Phantom Clone but they were being blocked by his water. However, being distracted was his downfall as he was stabbed through his visible brain and organs by a tentacle!

P. C. Chaos: *Screeches in pain*

The Phantom Copy glitched violently as it proceeded to disappear and EJ's phantom clone helped Jax and Jacqui up.

P. C. Jacqui: "Thanks, EJ."

EJ's clone nodded and the three went over to Zavok and Shao Kahn to help Jack, Spy and Takeda's Clones.

With the Originals...

The real deals were battling Infinite and trying to keep the Phantom Ruby away as Jack tried to get near Infinite. However, it was becoming more difficult with how Infinite was moving quickly due to the powers of the ruby. Takeda readied his whip as he threw it at the arm that was holding the sword and held on tightly, pulling him back!

Infinite: "Let go of me! Give me that ruby!"

Takeda: "What's so important about it?! Yours is better!"

Infinite: "You fool! Prototypes of the ruby can cancel out the true power of mine! I need the Phantom Ruby without anything stopping it so I can make my army all powerful!"

The jackal was off guard but he used his other arm to grab the Phantom Ruby and ready another clone. Takeda quickly activated the blades in the whip as they started digging into Infinite's arm, making him grunt in pain but summon the clone. Jack quickly made work and ran towards him, reaching his hand out to change Infinite's genetic pool but he was kicked in the side and stumbled back a bit. He looked to see Vortex's Phantom Copy staring him down. Jack's expression changed to surprise as the evil clone started doing Jiu Jitsu and activated Fire Style!

Jack: "What the he-"

Jack saw the flames and quickly jumped away as Vortex's Phantom Copy fired flames from his mouth and quickly changed his Fire style to Ice style: Ice Chains which started coming out and wrapping around Jack and his allies as they squeezed them tightly. The master manipulator was struggling in the chains as Infinite grabbed his sword with one hand. He panted as he glared at Jack and his friends.

Infinite: "Playtime's over! I will end you all!!"

Infinite charged at the heroes but slowed down due to the blood loss he suffered from. He started to fall to the floor as he lost consciousness, making the clones glitch more and start disappearing!

Takeda: "Finally..."

Takeda let go of the whip as he relaxed against the ice chains, shivering from the cold as they melted slowly. With Jacqui and Jax, they were able to deal with Ermac and his Phantom Clone and Noob Saibot's Phantom Clone long enough as those clones disappeared while the real villains were knocked out on the floor.

Jack: "Thank you, Takeda."

Takeda: "Yeah, no problem."

Spy: "So how are we going to get out of these chains?"

P. Jax: "Don't worry, I got just the thing."

Jax heated his arms up as he grabbed the cold chains and started to melt them. The trapped heroes got out as they wrung their clothes out a bit.

Takeda: "Thanks, Mr. Briggs."

P. Jax: "Hey, call me Jax. No need for formalities."

Takeda: "Right, thanks, Jax."

Jack dusted himself off as he made the clones disappear and held Infinite by the back of the head, ready to alter his genetics and .

Jack: "At least now we can focus on the crown."

Jacqui: "Right."

Jacqui went to the well as she reached for the crown until...

????: "Jacqui, stop!"

The heroes turned to see a bit of red glow in the shadows as a puff of smoke came out. The figure walked out to reveal the present day Jax!

P. Jax: "Mind. Blown."

Takeda: "Oh shit."

Jacqui: "Dad? How'd you get here? Wait...Ermac was right... What are you doing?"

Jax: "Giving you the life you deserve."

P. Jax: "By destroying the universe?"

Jax: "Restarting it, not destroying it. Being a Revenant. The years I lost, the things I did... Your Ma held me together. But I was never the father you needed."

Takeda: "Jax, you're talking craz-"

Jax: "Call me 'sir', Takeda!"

P. Jax: "Look, you're talking nonsense, man. You raised a fine daughter. She's one helluva soldier."

Jax: "She shouldn't have been a soldier! I never wanted you out there, taking those risks. If I hadn't fallen apart, you wouldn't have felt the need to enlist."

Jacqui: "That's not why I do this, Dad!"

Jax: "Please. Give that crown to me. I don't want to hurt anybody."

Jack: "Then let us get by without any issues."

P. Jax: "You kids hang back. I wouldn't wanna fight my Dad. How 'bout we keep this between me, myself, and I?"

Jax: "You don't know how bad it gets! Losing your arms was just the beginning."

P. Jax: "Oh I know. But you don't betray your unit. And you sure as hell don't betray your family!"

The older Jax made sure his metal arms were heated up as he charged at his past self and gave Past Jax an uppercut and a Pound Town attack. The Younger Jax returns with a Kombo Attack, The Briggs Special Move & Knee Jab in the stomach of the Elder Jax. The two have both hands caught in each other and both pushing with all the strength they have.

Jax: *Struggling* "Ready to give in, squirt?"

P. Jax: "Look at what you're doing to Jacqui by fighting like this? Make this right."

Jax: "The only way to make this right is to give up!"

They pushed each other back and went back to punching as Current Jax would throw a punch along with the Past Jax. This would cause the two to hit one another in the jaw, making them stumble back. Due to Past Jax having more energy, he managed to get back to it and started to shoot beams from his arms while Current Jax was blocking them. With each knockback, Jax kept approaching him and took one chance to charge up his arm and slam it to the ground, making Past Jax lose a bit of balance. Jax took the moment of weakness to tackle Past Jax to the ground. Jax lifted his younger self up by the neck and proceeded to slam his fist down multiple times. With each hit, Jax would remember as if he had got them years ago. Past Jax grabbed his older self's fist and started pushing him back slowly until he headbutted him and punched him in the stomach. With two jabs and an uppercut, Jax fell back and was knocked out while the young Jax was panting and fell on his butt.

P. Jax: "I'm sorry.... There's gotta be a way to make this right..."

Jacqui ran over and checked the current Jax's pulse.

Jacqui: "He's out cold but he'll recover. How are you feeling?"

P. Jax: "Trippin'. You?"

Jacqui: "Ditto... We can't leave him here... Let's grab him and take the crown with us."

After getting the crown from the well, Takeda and Jack were dragging Jax out as they walked out to see EJ eating the kidney he ripped out of Revenant Jade.

Jacqui: "What the fuck...?"

EJ looked down a bit as he grabbed his notepad and started writing in it.

EJ: (I eat kidneys to live. I know it sounds gross but it's true.)

Jacqui: *Cringe in disgust* "To be fair, I'd rather keep my kidney. We're heading back to the ship so finish your kidneys ."

As Jacqui and the others headed off, the ground shook and the sky started to turn bright in a blinding light!

????: "Mortals!!"

A booming voice echoed and soon Cetrion appeared as she floated down and stared down the heroes.

Cetrion: Surrender Kronika's crown and the Elder Jackson Briggs. No harm will come to you."

Jacqui: "No deal. We know you betrayed the Elder Gods, Cetrion."

Cetrion: "Kronika must restore the balance that Raiden and many others have destroyed. Can you not see, he is the devil in these matters?"

P. Jax: "At least he's the devil we know."

Jacqui: "Can we take an Elder God?"

Takeda: "I mean Cassie beast Shinnok."

Jacqui: "Only because they had magic powers."

Jack: "Yet they didn't use it during the attack."

P. Jax: "Maybe we have our own magic."

Cetrion: "Stand down, please. Resistance only ensures your suffering."

Jacqui took a deep breath as she grabbed the crown but Past Jax and Takeda stopped her.

Takeda: "Wait, Jacqui, we don't know what it'll do-"

Jacqui: "I'm not discussing it!"

Jacqui put the crown on her head as she felt the power surge through her body. She grunted but exhaled as she walked towards Cetrion as EJ finished one of the kidneys and walked towards the group. Jack stopped him as he grabbed the old Jax and the two were ready to leave with him.

Cetrion: "Your mind is too frail to wield Kronika's weapon. For your own safety, remove it!"

Jacqui: "It's not time for safety. It's time for action!"

Jacqui: "Eat your heart out, Cassie."

Jacqui started taking the crown off as she grunted, cuing Jax and the others to help her take it off as Takeda made sure she didn't fall to the ground. Cetrion was kneeling as she looked back up and stood.

Cetrion: "You were warned! Mere mortals cannot control the Crown. I did not wish to harm you, but now you have forced my hand."

Cetrion slammed her hand down as the ground causing it to rumble and cave in. The ground caving in caused everyone besides Past Jax to fall but they grabbed on ledges as EJ grabbed the others with his tentacles, trying to climb up. However, as he got back up, he was hit with a beam of light, burning him too much and causing him to lay on the ground, too burnt to move while the rest were pushed back in the hole. The Elder Jax woke up as he saw what was happening.

Cetrion: "Come now, Jackson Briggs."

The oldest Jax got up and walked over to her, seeing the problem. He felt shame as he looked away from the ultimatum.

P. Jax: "What the hell are you doing?!"

Cetrion: "Give me the crown and I will spare them."

Jacqui: "Don't! Don't give it to her! GO!!!"

Jack: "She's right! We'll find a way out but you need to leave with the crown!"

Spy: "Don't let her win, Jackson!!"

Takeda grabbed his whip and tried to get back up but it wasn't working since there was nothing to help him get back up.

Cetrion: "Their lives are in your hands."

Jax: "Nobody here wants to hurt anyone. Now, please. Don't let this happen to our girl and her friends."

Past Jax looked at the crown and at Jacqui and the others as he groaned.

P. Jax: "Damnit!"

Past Jax threw the crown at his future self, who caught it and looked at Cetrion.

Jax: "Now bring Jacqui back!"

Cetrion lifted the Earth as everyone was back on the ground while Cetrion used her powers to heal EJ a bit more than his healing factor could.

Jacqui: "Dad! How could you do this to me?!"

Jax: "I'm not doing this to you, Jacqui. I'm doing this for you! I love you..."

Jax sadly walked over to Cetrion as she signaled for a portal back to the keep.

Cetrion: "Kronika awaits our return."

The two disappeared within the sand that circled them as young Jax tried to help Jacqui up.

P. Jax: "C'mon! The fights' not over yet!"

Jacqui and the rest got up as they all headed for the ship, upset at their loss.

At the Keep...

Cetrion and Jax had arrived to give Kronika the crown as Moira, Dark Raiden, Kitana and Liu Kang's Revenant with Ermac carrying Infinite's body with his magic to the hourglass.

Kronika: "This will bring us our deliverance. This crown will make it possible for me to achieve my true power without needing to be near the hourglass."

Kronika grabbed the crown as she looked over at Jax.

Kronika: "Thank you. Both of you. I sense apprehension, Jackson Briggs."

Jax: "I'm not usually surrounded by so many friendly faces. Specifically Raiden's."

Kronika: "We are unlikely allies, united for a common cause. Raiden has accepted an offer that even he could not refuse as have you. Worry not. Liu Kang, Kitana. Are the armies assembled?"

R. Liu Kang: "They're en route. Kitana and I will see that they arrive as planned."

Kronika: "Excellent. Moira, heal Ermac and find a way to fix Infinite's issues."

Moira: "Let's see the damage then. What happened to him?"

Ermac: "One of the Y/N Heroes used their power to alter the Jackal's Genetics."

Moira: "Oh then there's not much I can do. I can try a diagnosis but it'll take time to actually fix his issues. I mean his genetics have been altered. That doesn't mean I can't make an experiment or two."

Kronika: "Worry not. With this crown, I will achieve much more."

The Keeper of Time placed the crown on her head as all the souls surged within her body.

Kronika: "So many souls! So much time!"

Kronika started to float up as she looked up in triumph.

Kronika: "As my strength gathers, the New Era draws ever closer!"

Infinite and Dark Raiden saw what power the crown had as they found it ever so interesting to say the least. Kronika came down as she started to wave her hands as Infinite was lifted into the air and he felt himself feeling better and like himself. Infinite regained his senses as if he was never injured in the first place.

Infinite: "Hmph. Thanks."

Kronika: "My pleasure, Infinite. However, I cannot let something like this happen again. That is why I enlisted Bubaigawara to help with your cloning."

Twice: "Hey hey, fresh faces!" *Says in a deeper voice* "What kind of freaks are you?!"

Infinite: "Who's he and what the hell is wrong with his voice?"

Twice: "I could say what's wrong with your body and head!" *Says in a deeper voice* "Strange! It appears he is a humanoid Jackal and a total edgelord!"

Infinite: "Save your flattering for your job."

Twice: *Flips him off* "Yes, sir! Fuck off!"

Twice grabbed the measuring tape from his wristbands as he started to measure Infinite's body. He started measuring everyone else and got pretty good ideas of how to clone them.

Kronika: "While you clone them, I will put the crown to the test."

Kronika started to disappear, knowing that she was going to answer someone's burning question...

Back at the Fire Garden...

Y/N was using the Sword Copy Ability as Kenshi was showing him how to become a better sword fighter. The young gamer was copying Kenshi's fighting style as he sliced up a few training dummies. They were diced up easily as he put his sword away.

Kenshi: "Very good work. Now, you'll need to learn to fight against a real person."

Young Y/N: "Well c'mon then blind man! Gimme the best you got!!!"

Kenshi took his kitana out as he got into a fighting position, spinning the blade around.

Kenshi: "Consider this a front row seat at a lesson."

Kenshi charged at Y/N as the gamer waited for his opponent to get near him. Just before Kenshi was about to attack, Young Y/N, still Sword Y/N, slashed his weapon against Kenshi's katana as Kenshi slid back a bit as they two clashed blades multiple times. Kenshi used his telekinetic powers to push Y/N back and lift him up, spinning him so he'd be upside down. However, the young gamer spinned like Sonic the Hedgehog and spun faster and faster. Kenshi watched as Y/N spun but he held his katana with both hands and flung Young Y/N away before he could launch himself. Kenshi smirked knowing Y/N lost. Unfortunately, he thought wrong. Sword Y/N was discarded and was now Wheel Y/N and was rolling towards Kenshi at breakneck speed. The blind swordsman stood upright as he held his sword up, concentrating to hit Y/N.

Young Y/N: "Take this, Old man!!! Epic dash wheelie!!"

Wheel Y/N collided with Kenshi's sword as Kenshi stood his ground, gripping the blade tighter. Wheel Y/N saw this as he tried pressing harder and harder but as he did, he felt his speed dying down and the blade slicing the burning rubber.

Kenshi: "Had enough, kid?"

Young Y/N: "Not quite. I have one more trick."

Kenshi: "Yeah, so do I!"

Kenshi concentrated his powers and started slicing the sword down on the boy. Once he saw that the child's speed was dying down, he quickly pushed Young Y/N back with his telekinesis and charged at Young Y/N. Before he could reach him, Young Y/N took out Invincible Candy. Just as he did, Kenshi used his telekinesis to push it far as he swung his sword and stopped it right at the gamer's cheek. Young Y/N was panting and shook a bit from the sword so close to his face.

Kenshi: "You give up?"

Young Y/N: "Listen if you strike me down, I'll be more powerful than you could possibly imagine."

Kenshi: "Heh, nice Star Wars reference."

Kenshi put his sword away as he held his hand out for Y/N to take.

Kenshi: "Here. Take my hand."

Young Y/N: "I don't know. It might be a trick."

Kenshi: "Well my powers come from my sword. Besides, I knocked you down already."

Young Y/N: "True.

Young Y/N grabbed his hand and got back up, dusting himself off.

Kenshi: "You still have much to learn about sword wielding, Y/N. That's why I'm helping you."

Young Y/N: "Yeah I know... Before this whole crazy thing, Meta Knight was only a few weeks into training me to use swords."

Kenshi: "Who is this Meta-Knight? Is he a swordsman?"

Young Y/N: "Yeah. He's the last of the Star Warriors. His sword is called the Galaxia Sword and looks awesome."

Kenshi: "You don't say. Well, why don't you tell me more during our break?"

Young Y/N: "Yeah, sure!"

The two went into the temple as Kenshi started getting some tea ready while Y/N was fixing up the Master Sword and talking about other things.

Young Y/N: "So you became blind because you looked into a well?"

Kenshi: "Yup. Shang Tsung needed to feed off of souls and I was a dumb kid. This sword contains the souls of my elders. They guide me. It gave me a chance to work on my sense of hearing. I do wish I could see what Takeda looks like. Not one day have I ever seen what he looked like."

Young Y/N: "I'm sure you got some idea in your head. Now, I hope I can give Princess Kitana some nice flowers to keep her spirits up, but where?" *Looks around*

Kenshi: "Well I can tell she's got hope left in her with Shao Kahn's defeat. Besides, I don't think you should get her flowers. You might make Liu Kang jealous."

Young Y/N: "Eh, I ain't too worried about it. I'll go look for some while you make the tea."

Kenshi: "Very well then. Don't wander off too far."

Young Y/N got up and left the temple to look around the Fire Garden. He saw a lot of trees with cherry blossoms falling. He kept searching but there wasn't much that would really scream 'Don't lose hope'. As he kept searching, he was unaware of someone approaching him.

Kronika: "Searching for flowers are we?"

Young Y/N: "Yeah. Nothing but stupid-" *Stops suddenly* "Who said that?"

The gamer looked behind him to see the Keeper of Time standing a few feet from him and gasped.

Kronika: "Do not fear, Y/N. I do not mean to bring harm in my visit."

Young Y/N: "Yeah, right. Unlike what other evil acts you've done to my friends and allies."

Kronika: "I mean well in my actions. The balance between light and dark is imperfect yet again. I must do what I must."

Young Y/N: "Yeah, I've heard that from everyone that talks about you. I still remember my inner Yin-Yang telling me what's right and wrong."

Kronika: "You're clever for a child, aren't you? Well, I can tell you have a lot on your mind about the time of the merger."

Young Y/N: "Oh yeah? What's up with that? Why did you do all of this if you did this so many times? And why so many times?"

Kronika: "To keep things simple, my whole view on life is to perfect order and chaos into a Yin and Yang scenario. When two things work together in perfect harmony, it can make heavy work and make the sands of time flow like clockwork. However, that task has failed more times than I could ever count."

Young Y/N: "So that gives you the right to restart everything?"

Kronika: "I restarted the timeline more than once because one person from the light that I had high hopes of being pure, becomes dark and twisted. Not to mention, many evils have been defeated and killed to where light overcomes dark and vice versa."

Young Y/N: "Have you ever heard of sparing a hero or a villain's life?"

Kronika: "That is not my choice to call. Heroes and Villains have been known to kill one another if possible. I always have high hopes for the next timeline I make. This timeline however... It was different. It was the perfect balance."

Young Y/N: "Which was...?"

Kronika started shifting reality around her and Y/N as they were now in a barren desert where a Vulture was ripping flesh off a dead corpse.

Kronika: "In this timeline, there was a power that banned the forces of Evil and Good together. While Good and Evil shifted and such in your world, here was a bit more complicated. There had been many powerful warriors throughout millennia but agents of Mortal Kombat tore the fabric of the realms. The critical point had finally reached..."

Low rumbling formed as one of the greatest Shao Kahn Warriors, Kintaro, appeared from the dust. That's when multiple heads of evil appeared and watched as an army of heroes from the Mortal Kombat World were charging at them. Both Good and Evil charged as they enacted in a deadly brawl, both sides taking down the other.

Kronika: "So you see, the forces of Good & Evil will always plague each other, even they will violate the effects of Time & Space. It was shown that one day, the two forces would become too powerful and too numerous. If nothing was done, the realms would fall victim to all that became too powerful."

The forces of Good and Evil clashed with each other as they battled hard and long with old faces and new faces from the past.

Kronika: "I had named many from this world as the true harbinger of evil or harbinger of good. To avoid total destruction, the Elder Gods found a safe keep. One that would keep things in check and satiate the blood lust."

The ground started shaking as a giant pyramid started rising from the ground and growing ever so in size. It stopped as a giant flame was at the very top, making those look in awe.

Kronika: "Like moths to flames, they would be drawn to battle."

Pretty soon, the heroes and villains started climbing the pyramid as they killed one another just to be ahead, making it difficult to know who would be on top. Y/N saw Kenshi stab Sheeva through the stomach as he fought Quan Chi but was killed in the process. That's when Quan Chi was lifted in the air by Ermac and flung off the flight of stairs. Ermac glowed green as he jumped and slammed his feet onto Kenshi's stomach, showing that it was actually Shang Tsung!

Kronika: "The apex of destruction and good would suffer broken alliances."

As she said that Shao Kahn was killed to the edge of the pyramid by Shang Tsung as a winged beast, Onaga, grabbed him and flew off with him.

Kronika: "And old hatreds would be revived."

Shang Tsung turned to see a figure walk from the dust, chains rattling as Liu Kang stumbled towards him. However, this Liu kang was zombified and adjusted his neck while growling and spinning his chains. The two fighters engaged in battle but in the end, Liu Kang's zombie form was tossed off. Mileena tried to get ahead and bite Shang Tsung's neck but she was tossed off as well. It seemed that Shang Tsung had won the battle until he was stabbed in the shoulders byu Liu Kang's chains. The flames started to take form as a figure rose from inside.

Kronika: "At last. Armageddon had begun for the final battle."

Young Y/N: *Grew unimpressed and disgruntled* "So this is the perfect timeline you so desperately wanted?"

Kronika: "It was. However, fate had other plans."

Kronika fast forwarded everything to where the sky was now brighter as there were many dead corpses of heroes and villains. There were only yells and grunts from two people. One of Good and One of Evil, Raiden and Shao Kahn.

Kronika: "Shao Kahn had defeated Armageddon and took the power he so craved."

Shao Kahn: "Where are the Elder Gods, Raiden? *Chuckles as he grabs Raiden's body* Their art of pathetic Mortal Kombat shackles me no longer.

Shao Kahn punched Raiden in the face multiple times until he threw him away, breaking Raiden's amulet. Shao Kahn summoned his hammer and walked towards him.

Shao Kahn: "They masquerade as dragons but are mere toothless worms." *Spins Raiden around and puts his foot on his chest* "My venom spreads. It is the end of all things. Armageddon!"

Raiden: "Stop!!"

Shao Kahn: "It is done, Raiden." *Lifts Raiden up* "Your time has passed."

Shao Kahn tossed Raiden again as he coughed and weakly got up, seeing the bits and pieces of his amulet nearby.

Shao Kahn: "Each has wasted with foolish resistance. Now is the dawn of my rule."

Shao Kahn walked forward and noticed Raiden beginning to cast a spell.

Shao Kahn: "Yes. Pray to the world. As your world ends."

Raiden was finishing the spell as Shao Kah lifted his hammer and swung it down but before he finished off Raiden...

Raiden: "He must win..."

His head was hit by the hammer but that was for naught as the time had begun to go back. Before Armageddon, before Mortal Kombat 4, Before Mortal Kombat 3, 2 and ended at the very first events of Mortal Kombat. Past Raiden gasped a bit as he was being shown visions of what the Raiden of the future endured. They were now at the tournament Shang Tsung held during the events of the first game.

Liu Kang: "Lord Raiden? Are you alright?"

Raiden: "I... I have seen visions of the future."

Raiden took out his amulet, showing a small crack.

Liu Kang: "Your amulet. It's broken!"

Raiden: "Worry not, Liu Kang. The tournament will begin soon."

Kronika and Y/N watched everything unfold. The young gamer tried to resist the horror and calamity as he looked at Kronika.

Young Y/N: "So what was the point of all that? This is why you hate Raiden so much? Because he sent visions to his future self?"

Kronika: "He did not send visions, Y/N. He rewinded time to decades in the past and destroyed all the hard work I had put into Armageddon. After that, the timeline changed events and my representations of evil and good were killed off one by one."

Kronika started showing the events of Mortal Kombat 9 by showing the carnage Sindel enacted when she was resurrected, Liu Kang's death, Kung Lao's death and Shao Kahn's death. Everything was different than what it was really supposed to be as she showed the events of Mortal Kombat X. That's where Revenants appeared, deaths of villains and heroes occurred and then showed Raiden starting to form into Dark Raiden. She also showed the events of World of Light to Young Y/N's horror.

Kronika: "Shinnok had failed far too many times for me but other beings of pure evil had been killed. My perfect timeline was ruined by Raiden, Liu Kang and the Cage family. That is why I have decided to restart one more time."

Young Y/N: "Oh sure. Feel very unsympathetic to everything except for the dark side. No wonder everybody hates you."

Kronika: "Hate is a very strong negative emotion. They will see. Once I complete my goal, they will all see. Evil is leaping over good more than it should be."

Young Y/N: "So what does all this have to do with me? Why did you turn Future Me into a little kid?"

Kronika: "I have my reasons. One is that I had a plan for you to be the purest of heroes. However, your future self exhibited signs of a darker moral compass much like Dark Raiden. That was not my plan for you. I will fix everything to my liking by doing this. I want Good and Evil to be balanced as all things should be."

Kronika shifted reality back to the Fire Garden as Kronika started levitating.

Kronika: "I also know how strong your future self is. The power you possess now is no match for me or my army. Especially with Chaos Control."

Young Y/N: "Hmph! Tell that to Shadow Y/N but I do not want to fight you. Even if I would fight you, I don't need Chaos Control or the Chaos Emeralds. You're obviously hiding something you're too afraid to say."

Kronika: "You wouldn't know anything. You're a child."

Young Y/N: "Oh yeah? Well this child is gonna beat you! And you'll learn not to kill any of my friends or family!!"

Kronika: *Chuckled confidently* "How adorable. We shall see won't we? I was going to give you a chance to step down but have it your way. Say nothing to your comrades. Or do. It won't make a difference in my plan."

With that, Kronika disappeared as Y/N sighed and started walking back to the temple.

Young Y/N: *Muttered* "Stupid bald witch. I'll show her!"

Just then, he found a beautiful rose by a cherry blossom tree.

Young Y/N: *Picks up the rose* "Maybe I give this to Liu Kang and tell him to bring it to Kitana, maybe that'll make those two happy."

Young Y/N walked into the temple as Kenshi was drinking tea with Shadow Y/N.

Kenshi: "Oh I see you're back."

Young Y/N: You can't see at all. No offense, Kenshi."

Shadow Y/N: "Shut it, Brat. Sorry about him."

Kenshi: "It's fine. Did you find any flowers?"

Young Y/N: "I found this pretty red rose. I think I'll be a good wingman and give this to Liu Kang. That way, Kitana will like him even more, heh."

Kenshi: "You're generous for getting someone something nice."

Young Y/N: "Well, I'm just trying to keep people's spirits up."

Just then, Raiden came in with devastating news...

Raiden: "I have received word from Jacqueline Briggs. Her father's actions have gravely compromised our situation."

Shadow Y/N: "Meaning he screwed us over like Raiden did! I am tired of everyone betraying us!!" *Growing a tick mark*

Raiden: "Even if we locate her keep, Kronika's power now likely exceeds the might of our combined forces."

Kenshi: "If we had Shinnok's Amulet, maybe you could use it."

Raiden: "I cannot, Kenshi. Even if we had it, I refuse to use it, knowing how badly it has affected me in the future."

Shadow Y/N: "I don't wanna be the one to admit it but Dark Raiden seems to be more powerful than you. When he decided to join Kronika, I lost my temper and fought him but he was able to go toe to toe with my power."

Raiden: "His power adds to her advantage. Despite that, we must attack as soon as we know the Keep's location."

Young Y/N: "Well we only have what it looks like inside but that won't work now."

Shadow Y/N: "And it's been hours since we heard from Sub-Zero, Wong and Scorpion. I don't think they're coming back."

Raiden: "They must. Or else hope is lost."

In the Netherrealm... Kharon's cabin...

Scorpion, Wong and Sub-Zero managed to find the home of Kharon but looked to see a bridge being built far within the distance with lots of creatures walking on it. Cetrion was building the bridge, feeling her power being used immensely to help the army.

Scorpion: "Those warriors must be headed for Kronika's Keep."

Sub-Zero: "Agreed. But why not use Kharon's fleet? The bridge clearly taxes her power."

Scorpion: "The fleets bound to Kharon. It sails only by his command. That it's still moored suggests he won't help Kronika."

Sub-Zero: "In which case, he may help us."

The army made it through the bridge as Cetrion started to make the bridge and herself disappear. The two Grandmasters and the Sorcerer heard screaming within the cabin.

Scorpion: "It looks like Kharon is home. Perhaps hosting unwelcome guests."

Wong: "Then let us take care of his guest."

Wong stood back and started opening a portal....

Inside the cabin...

Kharon was held by multiple blades that dug within his shoulders and legs. The ones holding the blades were Shadow Clones created by Noob Saibot as the man in question walked towards him.

Noob: "You should have aided Kronika, Kharon. Now you will suffer."

Kharon: "You cannot kill me, Bi-han. I am immortal."

Noob: "Then you will spend the rest of time laying in your own blood with no hope of moving from where you lay."

Orange sparks appeared next to Noob as he looked to see a portal open and a dagger flying through it. Noob dodged it in time but was grabbed by an orange whip and dragged into the portal, bouncing and rolling until he got back up and saw Wong, Scorpion and Sub-zero.

Scorpion: "First you rebuild the Cyber Lin Kuei and now you torture Kharon? You fight for a lost cause, Bi-han."

Noob: "I will get my clan from Kronika. The better of a job I accomplish than the others, the better chance I have. I should thank you for helping Quan Chi perfect me but it would be much better to avenge my death!"

Sub-Zero: "This is not the way to fight, Bi-han. Kronika is toying with your mind."

Noob: "Of all people to help my killer. Mother would be so disappointed. "

Noob Saibot readied his weapons and cloned himself multiple times as they charged at the trio. The clones began to attack one different fighter after another, meanwhile, the real Noob has his eyes on them. Sub-zero froze a few clones and punched them into several pieces as Scorpion flamed them and stabbed them a bit while Wong used his magic to get rid of them. Wong prepared his magic as he braced for impact from the Noob Clones and opened a portal for them to fall into the blood ocean nearby. While he did that, Noob teleported behind Wong and kicked him in the back, slashing him in the back with his blades. Wong held in the pain as he formed hand shields with magic and blocked the blades that were coming down. Noob made a few clones that went 2v1 against Wong while Sub-zero got the drop on Noob and hit him with ice blasts, an icicle and even kicked him back. Saibot took damage but still undaunted to fulfill his purpose, he made clones, teleported with the clones and started to kick and slash the two the best he could while Scorpion got rid of the last clone. He looked to see Noob dealing damage to Sub-zero and Wong as he intervened with flames out of his hands. Scorpion threw his dagger but Noob grabbed it just in time. Noob dodged other attacks as he yanked Scorpion's chain but he set the chain on fire, making him let go in pain. The three managed to get a few punches and even mix fire and ice abilities in but they were immediately hit by Noob's darkness and flew back a bit, seeing Noob charging at them. Noob began with Wong, kicking him a bit, making a clone to stab him in the side and yank him back for a punch as Sub-zero was sucked into a portal, causing him to fall into another portal and go though two portals at them same time closing it and letting him fall face first onto the ground and stabbing him in the shoulders so that he could flip him for a rib cage brake as Scorpion tried to intervene. With that said, Noob performed his fatal blow, trapping him in a portal with a shadow clone tackling him and pushing him forward. Noob ran at him and drop-kicked Scorpion in the face, going through a portal while the clone slammed Scorpion to the ground as Noob came down and slammed Scorpion's head. Noob jumped off and readied his blades once again. It seemed that the heroes were beat up. Scorpion tried to get back up but was kneeling and bled as he looked up, seeing Noob walking towards them. He looked back at Sub-zero and Wong as he spoke...

Scorpion: "Sub-zero. Return to the Fire Garden with Wong and alert the others. I will hold off Bi-han and save Kharon."

Sub-Zero was about to convince him otherwise but Scorpion used his flames to send him and Wong back to the Fire Garden. He got back up and took out his sword, standing his ground.

Noob: "Sending them from harm's way will not stop me, Hanzo. I will have my debt paid"

Scorpion: "I understand your anger, Bi-han. I had the same anger for Quan Chi and he used me the same way Kronika uses you. I let go of my anger and it saved me. To save yourself, you must do the same."

Scorpion charged and swung his sword down at Noob, having been blocked by the two blades and pushed off as he dodged Noob Saibot's attacks and teleported behind him and kicked him in the back. Scorpion gave Noob a Hell Hook to the calf and a Hell Port giving him major damage as Noob fell to the floor, making several clones. The clones ran towards Scorpion as he readied his sword and slashed the ones that missed their punch. He got closer the more clones he killed as Noob ran with his blades, using the distraction to catch him off guard and give him the Empty Grave Kombo Attack. Scorpion took a lot of damage but was not giving up. As Noob was gaining the upper ground, Scorpion returned the favor by giving him a Specter Strike, the Scorpion Sting a Special Dark Soul Kombo Attack! That caused Noob to flinch and launch back towards a wall. Scorpion grabbed Noob and punched him in the face one after another but his opponent stopped him with a Wraith Boot attack and gave him a Wraith Kick, causing Scorpion to get away from him. Once free from his grasp, Noob charged at Scorpion again and delivered a Shadow Slice and a Rising Shadow Kick. Scorpion tried to resist the attack but it wasn't a success. Before Noob could attack again, Scorpion gave him The Killing Kombo Attack and a Shin Strike giving Noob an amount of damage. When Scorpion is about to attack him again, Noob strikes first by attacking with a Total Darkness Kombo Attack and a Sinister Silhouette Kombo Attack to finish the last attack. Taking the attacks like a champ, Scorpion had sent out flames from his hand as he charged at Noob while distracted. Noob grabbed his blade to try and block Scorpion's sword but it was knocked off his hand and was slashed in the side. Noob was kicked in the stomach and fell to the floor. Scorpion had his sword to Noob Saibot's face as the reborn ninja laid there, battle damaged.

Noob: "Do it. Like you did decades ago."

Scorpion looked down at him as Noob held his wounds and panted heavily. He gripped his sword, remembering his wrong doings...

Flashback... In the Netherrealm...

Bi-han, the original Sub-Zero back then, had fallen to the ground, bleeding and holding his wounds in pain. He was panting as he looked up at the flame demon himself. Back then, Scorpion had been filled with unbridled rage and a puppet of Quan Chi.

Scorpion: "I have avenged my family and clan."

Quan Chi teleported next to Scorpion as he saw Bi-han still alive.

Quan Chi: "This is your retribution? Scorpion. Kill him."

Scorpion: "I... I will not. He has been beaten."

Quan Chi: "Have you forgotten?

Quan Chi started to show Scorpion what had happened to his family and clan years ago.

Scorpion: "What is this?

The flashback showed people dying, beheaded, while the Lin Kuei army rampaged and destroyed everything that held dear to him. Scorpion could only watch in horror as he watched everything unfold like he was there. As he watched his family and clan slaughtered like cattle, Bi-han got up and witnessed the carnage until it showed the leader of the attack... Bi-han.

Quan Chi: "Your family... Your clan..."

Scorpion watched as Bi-han approached Scorpion's wife and newborn baby with his sword, swinging it and killing them.

Scorpion: "No!!!"

Bi-han: "That is not me!"

It was too late to convince him as Scorpion, full of rage, took off his mask to reveal the burning skull he had.

End of Flashback...

Scorpion exhaled a bit as he put his sword away. Noob got back up and held his side in pain.

Scorpion: "Raiden had trusted me not to kill you the first time we fought. I took your life out of pure vengeance and Quan Chi's manipulation. Everyday, I regret killing you for someone else's crimes, because I thought you murdered my family and clan. Because of that... I am without honor and I apologize greatly. I have beaten you but I will not kill you. Your brother had given me a chance at redemption even when I despised your clan." *Holds his hand out* "I offer that same redemption for you as well. Help us fight Kronika, Bi-han."

Noob was taken aback by what Scorpion had said. Being a creation of darkness, there was something about his apology that felt right. However, that wasn't enough in his eyes...

Noob: "You won't kill me...? Or you can't?!"

Noob grabbed Scorpion's arm as he used his blade to stab Scorpion deep into his gut. Scorpion felt a sharp pain as Noob dug it deeper, making him scream a bit in pain. He looked up at Noob as they made eye contact. Noob watched as Scorpion collapsed a bit and watched life leave his eyes.

Scorpion: "I'm sorry I did not spare you, Bi-han... Do not... Give into Kronika's lies... Take care of... Sub-zero..."

Noob held onto Scorpion as the iconic Mortal Kombat Character drew his last breath, dying from blood loss. Noob closed his eyes as he laid Scorpion on the floor and walked off, putting his blades away.

Noob: "Goodbye, Hanzo Hasashi."
