Outworld... At a colosseum moments before the Time Merger...

Before all of that happened, Outworld was having an execution by the order of its ruler, Kotal Khan as his faithful men were next to his throne. The convicted felon was a pale blue creature with four arms that tried to break free to no avail.

Erron Black: "He is one ugly motherfucker."

Erron Black! (Outworld's best gunman!)

Kotal: "For years you escaped my justice. Sucked dry the bounty of Outworld's people. Today, your debt is paid."

"Kotal Kahn!" (Ruler of Outworld!)

Kollector: "Kill me, Kotal! And you lose profit!"

"Kollector!" (Four Armed Thief of Greed!)

Kotal: "You mistake me for Shao Kahn!" *Gets up from his throne and walks down the stairs* "I did not inflict a bandit on the poor!"

Kollector: "That was Shao Khan's deed! His word was law!"

Kotal didn't respond but held out his hand and was given his sword by a servant as he approached the Kollector.

Kotal: "Your master is dead, so is his "law". Never again will Outworld suffer from his corruption!"

Kotal raised his blade as his subjects cheered, but the ground started to shake as a statue had been broken and fell on the ground while sand was whirling all over the arena.

In a military base at an unknown location...

While the screams of people happened in Outworld, one of the soldiers woke up to the ground shaking and sand whirling all over too. It was hard to see as it was really windy too but it soon died down and they all could see what was coming through. Three figures were seen walking towards the squad. These figures formed into younger versions of Commanding Officer Sonya Blade, Jaxson Bruiggs, and Johnny Cage.

Back at the colosseum...

The sandstorm by Kronika was getting worse with the Kollector freeing himself during the chaos but this time people were coming through it. These people were coming from the past from both sides of light and dark. The light side contains Lui Kang, Kung Lao, Kitana, Jade, and the Thunder God himself... Raiden! A much humbler and less darker Raiden. However, the dark side had its champions too. Kano, Erron Black, Baraka, Skarlett, the past ruler's daughter Mileena and Shao Khan himself! The storm had finally ceased and everyone was confused about what had just happened. Kotal walked around and saw those that were brought from the past.

Kotal: "Raiden?"

Ermac: "Shao Khan?"

Ermac! (Made up of thousands of souls and Shang Tsung's creation!)

Shao Kahn: "General Kotal? Ermac?!"

"Shao Kahn!" (Previous Ruler of Outworld!)

Kotal: "I am Khan now. As for Ermac, he aids me now."

Shao: "Kahn? Pathetic fool. You pretend to be my throne!"

Kotal: "It is mine. By right and deed when you were killed long ago. As was that repugnant spawn, Mileena."

Mileena: "How dare you?! I should kill you myself for taking my throne after his demise!!"

"Mileena!" (Daughter of Shao Khan and Evil Tarkatan-human Hybrid!)

Raiden: "We were at the Mortal Kombat Tournament. Kung Lao had just defeated Shang Tsung and Quan Chi."

Reptile: "We are decades beyond those events!"

"Reptile!" (Kotal Kahn's Aid and One of the Last of his Kind!)

Raiden: "For us, they happened moments ago, Reptile."

Shao: "What game are you playing Raiden? What magic powers this delusion?"

Raiden: "If it is a delusion, it is one we all share. Is it possible that the past and future are colliding?"

Kotal: "Kitana, Baraka, Milenna, Skarlet, all Outworld champions long gone. If you are all here then-"

????: "I am here, Kotal."

A hooded woman came from the crowd and the two met eyes.

Kotal: "Jade..."

"Jade!" (Staff wielding fighter and a future Revenant!)

The two smiled at each other but Shao Khan pushed her aside to glare down at Kotal.

Kotal: "Osh-tekk custom requires all refugees be offered assistance. I offer it to you, Shao Khan and to you, Mileena."

Shao: "I am no refugee! I am Khan of Outworld! Vacate my throne or I'll soak the sands with your blood!"

Shao Khan summoned his hammer and charged at Kotal, who equipped his sword and blocked the oncoming attack, stumbling back and blocking another attack but was pushed back by Shao Khan. Kotal managed to put the blade in Shao Khan's shoulder who groaned in pain and was being held down.

Ermac: "Master..."

On Instinct, Ermac used his telekinesis to push Kotal back and aid Shao Khan.

Kotal: "Ermac?! What are you doing?!"

Ermac: "I am serving my master and creator!! I will serve the one I am bound with!!"

Mileena, who had extra strength, tried to stab Kotal with a blade she made from her hand which was blocked by the sword. She was about to be stabbed but dodged out of the way for Shao Khan to try and drop his hammer down. Ermac was pegged down by a soldier long enough for Kotal to form the attack and got back up to continue their battle with two against one. Shao Khan kicked Kotal in the stomach and launched him to a pillar as Mileena broke to let half of it fall on Kotal.

Liu Kang: "Lord Raiden. What do we do?"

"Liu Kang!" (Honorable Fighter!)

Raiden: "I have not met Kotal but he seems to be a good man."

Jade: "It's true, I know him well."

Raiden: "Then we must navigate this crisis by aiding him!"

Shao Khan stepped on Kotal's hand and stuck out his hand to try and steal his soul but was stopped by Liu Kang who kicked him repeatedly, making him stumble back. Mileena was about to interfere but was stopped when slashed in the back by Kitana's fan and then thrown far back from Ermac, who was being hit multiple times by Jade's staff and Kung Lao punching him. She growled and looked back to see her in a fighting pose.

Mileena: "We meet again, sister."

Kitana: "I have no memory of who you are. But if you're a product of Shao Khan then you must die!"

"Kitana!" (Rightful Heir to the Throne and Tough Warrior!)

Mileena: "I can't believe you would say that about your own sister! We're threads from the same cloth! Because of your foolishness, father created me to be the rightful heir to his throne from your own blood! Your death let me take the throne for myself after my father's death!"

Kitana: "We seem to be from different Eras then."

Mileena: "I'd had hoped it wouldn't be like this but have it your way! I'll finally have your head!!"

Mileena grabbed her sais and charged at Kitana.

Back with Liu Kang...

Shao Khan grunted as he tried to hit Liu Kang with the hammer but he dodged flawlessly and ended up being shocked by Raiden while Jade kept hitting him at bay with her staff while Kotal got back up.

With Baraka...

Baraka was slashing through soldiers as he made his way towards Kotal. He was stopped by a tongue that grabbed his ankle and tripped him, seeing it and cutting it off. This made Reptile scream in pain as he retreated his tongue back into his mouth and tried to spit acid but was avoided.

Baraka: "You dare betray Shao Khan?! Filthy Saurian! To think a former servant of Shang Tsung would be loyal forever."

Reptile: "I aid those who are fit for the throne. Shao Khan perished and Mileena was not the true heir and unfit to rule. I aided in Mileena's downfall and she was killed swiftly. As for you, your race was wiped out by Kotal. I enjoyed melting those who aided the very Khan that treated me and my race harshly!"

Baraka: "For that alone, I shall deliver Shao Khan your head!!"

The two went at it as they charged towards each other fiercely. Baraka tried to slice off Reptile's head but his arm was blocked and had acid in his face, making him yell in pain and be blind for a bit. Reptile tried to use his tongue again but Baraka grabbed it and pulled him forward, stabbing Reptile in the shoulder and trying to bite his face off.

Back with Kotal...

Kotal was about to aid Reptile in the fight as he beat down a bunch of Shao Khan's soldiers but one of the dead creatures' blood started to leave the body and grabbed Kotal as it sent him flying and crashing through the pit in the arena where giant beasts were held. Kotal groaned in pain as he got up and the blood formed into the blood bender herself!

"Skarlet!" (Orphan turned assassin and Blood bender!)

Kotal: "The orphan turned assassin..."

Skarlet: "Better to thrive in Shao Khan's court than starve in the streets. You Osh-tekk may practice blood magic but I am the master!"

Skarlet teleported behind Kotal and used her blood to slash him in the back, making him slip from blood she made appear on the floor and turned around to summon a disc and throw it at Skarlet which sent her back and on the floor. She was kicked in the knee cap and tried to kick her head but the attack was blocked and Skarlet stabbed his leg, using the blood from it to slam it down on Kotal and using a blood staff to slash him. The attack was blocked by the shackles Kotal had and charged at her, turning into a lion and pouncing her to the floor. Her neck was almost bitten but Skarlet gave him a punch and made him miss, tearing off a chunk of flesh from her arm and then teleported behind him. Kotal changed back and Skarlet used more blood to form a spike and threw it at him, with Kotal stabbing the ground with his sword and causing a small earthquake in the ground. He charged at her as she was dazed and uppercut her and slammed her down. He punched her in the head and knocked her out.

Kotal: "Pride will be your downfall."

Jade and Erron Black arrived to see Skarlet on the floor.

Jade: "Kotal."

Jade ran up to him and kissed him deeply as Erron put his foot to Skarlet's neck and aimed his gun at her head. Before the shot could be taken, Skarlet teleported away.

Erron: "Damnit. Had a clear shot."

Jade: "I thought you were dead! What happened to you?"

Kotal: "I was betrayed by Shao Khan. He ambushed my army and Shang Tsung used me for experiments. After his death, I was finally free."

Jade: *Has a reassuring smile* "Seeing you again makes this nightmare worth it."

Kotal: "I will not lose you again."

The gates opened to reveal a younger Erron Black who was ready to shoot someone down.

Erron: "You two get out of here. I'll deal with the kid."

The two left as he aimed for his younger version's feet and missed on purpose.

Erron: "Consider that a warning shot."

P. Erron: "Almost like looking in a mirror."

Erron: "Our fighting could muck up the timeline."

P. Erron: "Then I'll leave you mostly dead."

With Kotal...

Kotal and Jade climbed up the stairs as they saw Shao Khan knock down Kotal's men.

Kotal: "I'll handle Shao Khan. You aid Kitana and Raiden."

Jade nodded and ran off as Kotal ran towards Shao Khan as he glared at Kotal.

Shao Khan: "I will have my war!"

Kotal: "Outworld rejected your pointless wars!"

Shao Kahn: "Empires must expand or die!"

The two charged at each other and held each other in place. Shao Khan managed to push Kotal into a cage that held a giant beast that wanted to feast. Shao Khan pushed his head closer to it but Kotal bit his hand and grabbed him. He pushed him and the two were now in a battle.

Kotal: "Your conquest served you alone! Not Outworld's people!"

Kotal threw a disc at Shao Khan but he used the hammer to block it and Shao Khan knocked him down with his speed. He used the hammer to launch him into a wall but Kotal transformed into his lion form again and pounced on him, biting into him but getting knocked back. Kotal called down the sun and used its rays to give him more strength, grabbing Shao Khan before he could swing down the hammer and hold him in the sun beam. It was burning him and Kotal started to punch him repeatedly, only stopping when he was stabbed through the stomach by Shao Khan and his manifestation powers. Shao Khan walked forward and was about to finish the job, only backing away after being kicked in the stomach.

Shao Khan: "I shall take back my right as Khan! Because I am Shao Khan!! Ruler of Outworld!!"

Kotal: "You... Are Khan no more!!"

Kotal looked up to see a flurry of insects appearing and swarming all of the heroes in the arena.

Kotal: "D'vorah!"

Speaking of the devil, she came out of a portal made by Kronika and called out for Shao Khan!

D'vorah: "Shao Khan! To me!"

"D'vorah!" (Humanoid Bug Queen!)

Shao Khan ran towards the portal and retreated with the other villains as she hissed at Kotal and they managed to flee.

Kotal: "I have not known stranger days." *Falls due to his wounds*

Raiden ran towards him and started to use his powers to heal his wounds. After that, Kotal managed to get up with no issues.

Raiden: "Kotal Khan. I am Raiden. Protector of Earth Realm."

Kotal: "I know who you are."

Raiden: "We have met in your era?"

Kotal: "We were allies who became enemies."

Raiden: "I am surprised, given our shared antipathy towards Shao Khan."

Kotal: "Everything changed after Shinnok's defeat."

Liu Kang: "Shinnok's defeat?"

Kotal: "Our realms joined to fight him but in victory, you were hardened. To protect Earthrealm, you lashed out at all realms you deemed threats."

Raiden: "That cannot be."

Kotal: "My Raiden wears Shinnok's amulet as a symbol."

Raiden: "Be assured, Kotal Khan. I am not that Raiden. We have a common cause. Both in solving this temporal crisis and in defeating Shao Khan."

Kotal: "Agreed."

Raiden: "Liu Kang, Kung Lao and I will return to Earthrealm and learn what temporal anomalies have occurred there. We must better understand the phenomenon we are experiencing."

Kotal: "I will have my scouts track Shao Khan and form an army to defeat him."

Liu Kang: *Goes to Kitana* "So, this is goodbye."

Kitana: "Only goodbye for now. I can't leave while Shao Khan and my sister threaten Outworld. I must seek justice for what he did to my family and to all of Edinia."

Liu Kang: "I will come back for you. To aid you, Princess."

Liu Kang bowed to her and was given a hug by Kitana. He wanted to hug back but couldn't as he smiled at her and walked back to Raiden, leading with him and Kung Lao back to Earthrealm.

Present time... With the Y/N Heroes...

After that happened, the Y/N heroes arrived at the dock with Torhu waiting for them.

Kaleb: *Knocks on the door* "Tohru! Open the door! It's Kaleb! I know Lucoa isn't in there so open up!"

Tohru opened the door, upset at Y/N's disappearance. Kaleb and the Y/N Heroes walked in to find her and the pile of sand and dust.

Vortex: "What the hell?"

Nick: "Sand?"

Tohru: "I don't know why there's sand, I saw him go inside and didn't come out, so I walked in and there was only a pile of sand left here!"

Vortex: "But why sand?- .... Oh my god.... The bald lady! The one that sent the villains to the void!"

Kaleb: *Angered* "Why that little dastardly bitch! When I find her, I'm gonna give her hell!!"

EJ: (I agree!)

Maurice: "That explains it! We never knew her name!"

Vortex: "Thankfully it's not hard to realize who she is. She's from the videogame world. Mortal Kombat to be exact. You guys play Mortal Kombat 11?"

Kaleb: "Oh my god... That's why she's so familiar. If that's the case then-"

Gabriel: "She must be erasing Y/N for a reason. It must be because of a time-related anomaly."

Gabe: *Sympathetically* "Poor Y/N..."

Nick: "Well whatever this evil time lord is, we need to figure out what to do here and avenge Y/N L/N at all costs! Where do we start?!"

While the team talked, Tohru saw sparks coming from the kitchen as it flickered more and more.

Tohru: "Mr. Kaleb?"

Kaleb: "Yeah?" *Sees her pointing at the sparks* "Wait guys guys, shut up and look! Oh gosh... It's him again. This isn't gonna be good."

The sparks formed into a portal to a library where Dr. Strange walked out of it. Tohru was about to attack him but Kaleb stopped her.

Dr. Strange: "Greetings, Y/N Heroes. I see you've discovered a horrific disruption in the fabric of time. Again. And I feel sympathy for your friend."

Kaleb: "It wasn't me this time. I swear."

Dr. Strange: "I'm aware of that, Kaleb. We don't have a lot of time so I'm asking you guys to come with me."

Vortex: "Give us a good reason."

Dr. Strange: "You wanna stop Kronika from restarting the timeline? Then come with me if you want to have your future selves alive."

Dr. Strange went back into the portal as the others didn't have a choice. They all walked in and were greeted by a whole library of books.

Dr. Strange: "Welcome to the Sanctum."

Tohru: "The Sanctum...You must be a part of the Sorcerers with the Sorcerer Supreme."

Dr. Strange: "Yup. I read about dragons like you from other realms. Nice to finally meet one despite being the daughter of the Dark Lord."

Jack: *Sarcastically* "You really have taste, Kaleb."

Kaleb: "Ah shut up. So is there anything in here about Kronika?"

Dr. Strange started to make a whip with his hands and grabbed a book that was far and high on the shelf.

Dr. Strange: "Here. This book entails about people like here. Titans. More powerful than Gods themselves. Thought to be legends too." *Places the book on a table and flipping the pages* "Kronika. The Keeper of Time itself. She's known to reset the timeline on multiple occasions due to an upset in the balance of this universe's timeline. Seems like someone caused that to happen."

Gabe: "You don't think it's Y/N, do you?"

Dr. Strange: "Surprisingly not. It's not Kaleb's fault either. What do any of you know about the Thunder God: Raiden?"

Vortex: "Wait, wait a second! You're saying Raiden is causing the timeline to be unbalanced? Oh right! Shit, it's been a while since I played Mortal Kombat."

Dr. Strange: "That, I didn't know about. I know that the timeline was disrupted after-"

Kaleb, Vortex & Dr. Strange: "Raiden decapitated Shinnok."

Wong: *Comes down the stairs* "After that happened, Kronika started merging the past and present together. Two realms have been affected. Outworld and Earthrealm. Seeing as how that's the case. We need to warn Raiden and get the Special Forces to help us. Only problem is we can't make portals that go outside our astral plane of existence. The video-game universe has its own earth, worlds and dimensions in another dimension which we can't access so easily."

Dr. Strange: "Which is why we were hoping you'd have your dragon friend with you."

Tohru: "You want me to make a portal to the video-game dimension?"

Dr. Strange: "Correct. What you need to do is keep the video-game worlds in mind for you to travel easier than right now. I'll come with you when you make it so I can work my portals there."

Wong: "You just want an excuse to not look after the boy don't you?"

Jack: "The boy?"

Dr. Strange: "That's another thing I gathered you all here for. Follow me."

The house shifted and arrived into a big room where a little kid with Nintendo, Namco & Sega gaming fashion, wearing Mario's Cap backwards, and clothing and gear. Last but not least, he was wearing boots like the Super Mario Bros are wearing. This special kid was eating a sandwich.

????: "Man, this sandwich hits the spot. Sorry, Mr. Wong but it's mine now. Too bad Kirby & King Dedede are not here to see this. They taught me the sneaky snack attack after all."

Dr. Strange: "Don't startle him by the way. He's a bit younger."

Wong: "Would it be wrong to punch a child?"

Dr. Strange: "Yes Wong, we've been over this already."

????: "Oi! Can you guys not stare? It's making me a bit uncomfortable! Have you ever seen a hero before?!"

Y/N Heroes and Tohru: "Y/N!?!?!?!?!?!"

Young Y/N: *A bit startled* "Maybe...? Who are you guys anyway?"

Nick: "Oh my gosh, he's a little baby!" *Adores him* "Aww he's too cute!"

Young Y/N: "Hey! I'm 12 and a half!"

Nick: "Still, it makes me happy to have someone that's near my age as my friend."

Y/N: "We're friends?"

Dr. Strange: "They're in the future. What's the last thing you remember, Y/N?"

Young Y/N: "Well I remember training with my friends Mario, Luigi, Sonic & Tails but these tough guys called the Hard Boiled Heavies appeared and I tried to fight them. Then I just appeared here. I got scared at first but then you and that bald guy helped me by giving me this sandwich."

Wong: "I didn't give you the sandwich." *Gives Strange a stern look*

Dr. Strange: "The kid was hungry, what else was I supposed to do?"

Young Y/N: "So I'm friends with you guys huh? You guys seem ok but don't seem anywhere near my power level. Why am I here anyway?

Dr. Strange: "Immortals can't be erased from the timeline completely. That's why Raiden, the Wind God: Fujin and Y/N are unaffected in one way or another."

Gabriel: "Wait, we took his immortality away when we were punishing him."

Jack: "Not entirely... Y/N's immortality isn't based on genetics but a power he acquired somewhere and somehow when he was 18. If he had kids, they wouldn't get his immortality."

Maurice: "Meaning that the Y/N here is mortal."

Jack: "What I did take with my power was some bits and pieces of his genetics that lurk around and help him achieve his many forms and abilities like his Saiyan forms. The only things I couldn't get rid of were his conditions and his Jutsu abilities. Seeing this, I'm pretty sure Y/N's parents were the strongest motherfuckers around."

Vortex: "Oh... Do you think the little guy is strong enough to help us?"

Young Y/N: "Strong enough? Ha! I'm stronger than that! I'm not like the rest of you! Three reasons; I'm stronger, I'm smarter! And I'm better! I am better than anyone else!!!"

Jack: *Muttered* "Gee thanks, Kronika... You gave us a spoiled brat who's full of himself!"

Vortex: *Whispered to Jack* "I agree. The next time I see her, her ass is mine."

Dr. Strange: "He's a bit of a spoiled child but he's got a similar power level and a good heart to the present Y/N. He doesn't have Chaos Control, multiple forms he takes during battle and a limited manifestation. Though he seems like he has the ability to travel between this world and the video game universe so that makes the trip easier."

Young Y/N: "Hey! I'm still training! I've mastered several but not all forms of the Mario, Sonic, Dragon Ball, Naruto & even the Kirby games but I'm still training on mastering Chaos Control! If Sonic, Shadow & Silver the Hedgehogs can do it, so can I!"

Kaleb: "Man, you look way better than I did when I was a teen and much more determined no matter how unfair life is. No fair, you got lucky."

Young Y/N: "Uh... dude. You're not looking so hot right now. Maybe you should take a nap."

Kaleb: "Maybe you should-" *Realizes he's a kid* .... Maybe I should quit the night guard job at those pizza and burger places to make me not so sleepy."

Young Y/N: *Eyes sparkle* "You work at Freddy Fazbear's Jr. and Candy's Burger and Fries?! That's so cool! The robots are so cool and nice!"

Kaleb: "Yeah... It's different in the dark, squirt. They're the real deal. Anyway, we should get this guy with the special forces. I'm sure they'll listen to us."

Dr. Strange: "They will. The Avengers are gonna wanna hear about this. Good luck to you guys and Y/N should be able to take you guys anyway. Otherwise..." *Looks at Tohru* "You have other means of transportation."

Young Y/N: "Wait, you want me to make a portal to the video game worlds? I guess I could but no funny business with them alright?" *Grabs a warp potion and throws it at the ground as a Dimensional Warp Pipe is made.* "Anyplace in particular?"

Vortex: "Take us to the special forces base on Earthrealm. I'm pretty sure Johnny and Cassie Cage are still there."

Young Y/N: "Whatever you say, man! Come on, guys! Let's-a-go!"

Y/N jumped into the pipe to the secret base as the team saw the inside of it with nothing but an empty abyss. Raiden had them stand down as the team and Wong walked into the Warp Pipe.

Dr. Strange: "Try not to be too hard on the kid. Unless you want another Time Eater incident."

Maurice: "You have our word, sir."

Jack: "We'll keep our toxic language to ourselves when he's around."

Dr. Strange: "Good. Best of luck, Y/N Heroes."

Meanwhile... D'vorah's Hive...

The villains were in D'vorah's hive with them waiting for news.

Shao Khan: "You evade my questions, D'vorah and Ermac. I routed your people. Burned this hive. Yet you aid me." *Looks at Ermac* "I saw you stand by Kotal when I arrived and stuck by his side until you aided me! What for?!"

Kollector: "We can't trust them, Excellency. Kotal Khan did, and she betrayed him to Shinnok. Ermac must be helping you because of his loyalty to you years ago."

Shao Khan: "Kotal "Khan". How is it that I'm dead and Mileena was too weak to keep the throne as he now sits on it?"

Kollector: "You tried merging Earthrealm into Outworld. The Elder Gods intervened, and Raiden killed you. That's when Mileena became Khan."

Ermac: "Mileena was not a true heir to the throne. She was created in the flesh pits by Shang Tsung. After she took the throne, I watched as she drove Outworld into the ground by letting chaos run, refusing to accept Earthrealms aid as the war with Netherrealm lingered. Thousands of her soldiers died and Ourworlders were killed by the thousands. She did not care for Outworld. Only being Khanum."

Shao Khan: *Looks at Mileena* "What type of game do you play, Mileena?! You come from the era after my death, correct? Why do this to your own realm?!"

Mileena: "I... I Want to be Kahnum and follow in your footsteps, Father!"

Shao Khan: "Not a good enough reason. Just as weak and imcompotent as Kitana. To think I could create such a useless hybrid!"

What Mileena heard destroyed her on the inside, possibly the straw that broke the camel's back.

D'vorah: "After This one killed Mileena, Kotal claimed the throne."

Mileena: "You murdered me?! If this is true, you will die by my hands!!"

Mileena was about to attack D'vorah with her Sai with D'vorah taking out her spikes but the sands of time started to whirl in the hive as Kronika, Geras, a familiar one-eyed Jackal, and a hooded lady came out from a portal.

Kronika: "D'vorah is under my protection, Mileena. As are you. I am Kronika."

Mileena: "The legends are true."

Kronika: "I am displeased with how history has unfolded."

Shao Khan: "So you broke time?"

Kronika: "I stopped time. I enlist all those who disdain the current course of history. By merging past and present, we may draw upon allies from both eras. Kronika: "I offer greater power in the New Era, Shao Khan. Raiden will not exist to thwart you or anyone else."

Shao Khan: "You can wipe Raiden from history?"

Kronika: "It is an immense task. Requiring much power and effort. I could only erase one immortal with my current state and even then, he hasn't been erased completely. Both past and present Raiden exist due to my lack of judgment. Perhaps his future self can be of use to me somehow. I will attempt to fix this issue though. I will need your help protecting the hourglass while I work in the meantime. Will your Outworld armies defend it?"

Shao Khan: "They shall. *Smiles darkly*

At the unknown Military Base...

The Y/N Heroes were met with stares of new people.

Young Y/N: "Sheesh. I hate it when people stare at me weirdly."

Kaleb: "Just bare with it, Y/N."

Maurice: "Hello, everyone. My name is Maurice Elder King. We are the Y/N Heroes."

????: "We know who you guys are. We've seen most of you guys in the real world's news."

Kaleb: *Mutters to Jack* "Oh my gosh, It's Johnny Cage! One of the best actors of the 90s! At least in the videogame world."

"Johnny Cage!" (Retired Actor and General of the Special Forces!)

Kenshi: "Greetings. I am Kenshi. It's nice to meet you, Team Y/N. You were affected by the time merging too?"

"Kenshi!" (Blind samurai and telepathic father of Takashi Tekada!)

Vortex: "Right. Our friend ended up being erased from time but came back a younger version of himself."

Kung Jin: "He seems shorter than usual. Good to see you again, Vortex."

"Kung Jin!" (Cousin of Kung Lao and the Hawkeye of the Special Forces!)

Vortex: "Great... Mr. Smartass is here..."

Raiden: "So your friend is an immortal too. One that exists outside the laws of time."

Young Y/N: "Immortal!? What do you mean immortal!? I'm no immortal! I don't even know my parents!"

D. Raiden: "I recall seeing you achieve it at the age of 18. You might be more fragile than the Y/N of this era."

Vortex: "Lord Raiden..." *Sees the past Raiden* "Raidens...?"

Raiden: "We have met before?"

D. Raiden: "I used to. Before Shinnok's defeat, when I was naive and still having faith in the Elder Gods, I had recruited Vortex after seeing his potential from Kakashi. Only when I decided that Earthrealm was important that Vortex left the Sky Temple."

Vortex: "You went dark after Shinnok was beheaded."

Raiden: "I had heard about it. It pains me to see myself walk a darker path."

D. Raiden: "You should be thanking me for opening our eyes to the truth. That does not matter now. What matters is gathering our forces and destroying Kronika to fix our current timeline."

Wong: "Agreed. Not to mention we'll need it for what happened with Shinnok's temple."

Cassie: "Any idea what to do now?"

"Cassie Cage!" (Daughter of Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage and Commanding Officer of the Special Forces!)

Raiden: "For months, I have been getting premonitions of the future. It didn't tell me about this however. I must consult with the Elder Gods." *Looks at Liu Kang and Kung Lao* "Liu Kang, Kung Lao. Please assist the Special Forces while I am gone."

Liu Kang: "Yes, Lord Raiden."

D. Raiden didn't look in their direction as he had some guilt buried within him about their deaths. They saw how different and darker he was from the one they came with.

Vortex: "Holy crap. Liu Kang and Kung Lao... Raiden told me a lot about you guys."

Kung Lao: "Is that so?"

Vortex: "Yeah. It's nice to meet you both, my name is Vortex Sakamoto." *Bows* "It's a pleasure to meet you."

Liu Kang: *Bows* "It is nice to meet you too."

Kung Jin: *Sees Kung Lao* "Cousin... I still can't believe I can... See you after all this time."

Kung Lao: "Why wouldn't you? I remember when you were a bit younger, Jin."

Kung Jin: "Yeah... Back then was a different time." *Gives a soft smile*

With Young Y/N...

The younger Y/N was a bit nervous but he looked at the new place he was in and thought it was neat.

Young Y/N: "So this is what a military base is like, huh? Sweet!"

Gabriel: "Yeah it's pretty cool."

Young Y/N: "Say, uh...."

Gabriel: "Gabriel. Nice to meet you... Again."

Young Y/N: "Same. Not to judge ya or anything, but I noticed that you're wearing a Bonnet like the Bonneters from Super Mario Odyssey and a Penguin suit from New Super Mario Bros. Wii."

Gabriel: "Oh right. Y/N, this is Gabe. My partner & friend."

Gabe: "Hello there!"

Young Y/N: "Woah! That's so cool!! I never knew I could make great friends with someone like you! His name's Cappy and he, Mario and I have known each other since his globe-trotting adventure!"

Gabriel: "You still seem like the same old Y/N we know."

Young Y/N: "How am I in the future? Am I still the amazing and handsome fella I am now?"

Nick: "Yeah you're still the same. You seem to be a ladies man too. Just like the B-Man we knew and loved."

Young Y/N: "Ehhhhh. Alright sounds cool I guess but I don't know if I could handle it all." *Shivers and mutters* "Girls are scary to me."

EJ: (I wonder if he remembers me.)

Young Y/N: "Wait, EJ?! Like in Eyeless Jack?!"

EJ: *Nods a lot*

Young Y/N: "Holy heck, man!! It's been so long! It was... two months since I last saw you! You grew a lot! Not to offend you but did you get growth spouts or something?"

EJ: (No, I just grew up a little. You got a lot to learn about the future.)

Young Y/N: "Eh. I ain't too worried about it."

Vortex: *Thought to himself* '...I hate it when he says that. Even if he's the young version of Y/N he's still in his chill out zone!'

Y/N smiled at EJ as the monitor was beeping a little which alarmed one of the Soldiers.

Jaqui: "Cass...? You need to see this. Sat feeds show a Netherrealm incursion at the Wu Shi Academy."

Vortex: "The Wu Shi Academy...?"

Cassie: "The Netherrealm? Bringing down the temple was supposed to stop them."

Jaqui: "It's gotta be the Time anomaly."

Liu Kang: "We must help our Shaolin Masters."

Vortex: "Right! I'm coming with you guys. I trained there and the Sky Temple with some of the monks there ever since I got my powers. Before Raiden took me under his wing."

P. Jax: "Why would the Netherrealm wanna beat up your alma mater, Liu Kang?"

Liu Kang: "The Dragon Grotto. It's underneath the Academy. Earthrealm's Jinsei energy bubbles up in its springs."

Cassie: "That's no good. We've seen firsthand what happens when the Netherrealm screws with Earthrealm's life force."

Kung Lao: "They will not reach the Grotto. It is protected by powerful magic. The deadliest traps. I am sure our counterparts from your era are already dealing with them."

The people that knew what happened were a bit sad when they had to tell them. Young Y/N, however, is still confused and innocent as one of his mentors, Kirby.

Young Y/N: "What are they talking about??"

Young Jax: "That's for us adults to know, kid. And for you to not find out for a little while."

Jack: "I'm sure there's a place for Y/N to be more situated in."

Young Y/N: *muttered* "Killjoys."

Jaqui: "I'll walk you guys there."

Tohru: "I'm sure I'll be of use too for the younger version of Mr. Y/N."

Young Y/N: "Eh. I ain't too worried about it. When the time is right, I want to show everyone what I'm made of!"

Jack: "Keep dreaming, you little rascal."

Jack, Y/N and Tohru walked with Jaqui as they looked for a room to be more relaxed in.

Cassie: "Kung Lao? Liu Kang? You guys might wanna sit down."

At the Wu Shi Academy...

Liu Kang, Kung Lao, and Vortex, wearing his hero suit, walked to the Kolisuem as they passed the entrance.

Kung Lao: "I die in the Koliseum? You on a rooftop, fighting Lord Raiden? Our future Liu Kang, it is insane. Did you know about this, Vortex?"

Vortex: "I did. I ended up fighting your revenant selves on a rainy night when I stayed there to train a bit more. Bo Raicho was attacked by you guys, Kitana, Sindel and a few other guys. I gotta say, you guys didn't hold back since it was two on five but I managed to stand a chance... Although barely. I ended up training more and might stand a bigger chance than when I was younger."

Liu Kang: Though, I apologize for the inconvenience they caused you but obsessing over this future will not change it, Kung Lao."

Kung Lao: "Neither will we accept our destiny as evil undead warlords."

Liu Kang: "I'm not. But we can't change a future we don't fully understand. Lord Raiden will guide us."

Vortex: "Maybe but at the same time... Your deaths were heavy on everyone. Especially Raiden. He felt a lot of guilt for what happened with Liu Kang the most."

Kung Lao: "Of course he does. That's why I'm wondering if we can trust him. It seems like he got us both killed!"

The three noticed a body laying on the staircase as they climbed up to see a Shaolin Monk's corpse, bloody from the fight. They proceeded forward and saw the door bashed in and lots of Shaolin bodies.

Liu Kang: "So many Shaolin! They died defending our sacred ground."

Vortex and Liu Kang: "The Netherrealm will pay."

The three kept walking as they saw three guillotines swinging in different patterns.

Liu Kang: "Seems like whoever entered must have disarmed the traps."

Kung Lao: "Any idea how to get through them? The monks never taught me."

Vortex: "You must have skipped class for that one. You just have to time it right."

Vortex walked forward and proceeded to run up and jumped through the axes, with Liu Kang following suit. Vortex dusted his suit off as he watched Kung Lao stall the axes with his hat, smirking and making Vortex grit his teeth a bit.

Vortex: "Lucky prick!"

Kung Lao: "What's next?"

Liu Kang: "Everything. Poison darts, trap doors, poison gas-"

The exits were blocked off by metal bars that were triggered somehow.

Vortex: "Oh that's just great!"

Kung Lao: "I did not do that!"

Suddenly, a giant white beam shot at them but hit the pillar next to them.

????: "I did." *In a calm tone*

The trio looked over to see the person that shot the beam!

"Mike Bison!" (Street Fighter's Evil Dictator and Murderer of Chun-Li's Father!)

Vortex: *Stares at him* "Bison..." *In a vicious tone*

M. Bison: *Sees Vortex* "Well... If it isn't the fabled fighting hero. Long time no see. Very unfortunate you came all this way here for nothing." *In a calm tone*

Liu Kang: "You two seem to know each other."

M. Bison: "That's correct. I've known since he was young. Sad to say it but you three will die just as painfully as these pathetic monks. They broke like twigs too." *Chuckles as he got in his fighting stance* "Maybe they'll come back when the new era begins and they serve as my slaves! Conquering this world is gonna be fun. If she fails, I won't be afraid to fight back."

Vortex: "We'll see about that, you dictating son of a bitch! One of you disarms the traps while the other helps me out here."

Kung Lao ran off to turn off the traps as Vortex shot Bison multiple times with his revolver. He started to kneel down as they went through. Before Bison could get up Vortex started to summon his Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu as he took a deep breath and breathed fire towards M. Bison while Liu Kang ran towards him. M. Bison was blocking the flames and couldn't see Liu Kang heading towards but when he did, he quickly teleported away from Liu Kang's bicycle kick and performed a scissor kick to Vortex that was blocked.

M. Bison: "You really think these bullets can stop me?! I've been through worse!!"

Bison did a slide kick that knocked Vortex down which he did again. Then again cause he's that kind of person. Vortex was visibly enraged by his spamming and started to perform Clone Jutsu!

Vortex: "Clone Jutsu!!"

He started to clone himself multiple times as Bison was a bit confused but teleported to one of them and punched them through the heart, with the others charging at him but they were tossed at one another, one was lifted in the air and smushed, some were headstomped and Bison killed the last clone with his head stomp!

M. Bison: "I shall turn this place into your grave!!"

Vortex charged at Bison with his sword and Liu Kang shot some fireballs at him. Bison took a fireball and dodged the rest as he grabbed the blade before it could make contact with his neck.

M. Bison: *Stares him down and smiles* "Pathetic."

Bison broke the sword which made Vortex's eyes widen in shock and disbelief. Now being visibly angry and vengeful for his family's sword being destroyed, he grabbed the sharp shard and tried to stab Bison, making him chuckle.

M. Bison: "What are you so upset about? Sad cause your favorite toy got ruined?"

Liu Kang joined in the fight as he kicked and punched Bison which were blocked and taken. Vortex kept punching, now equipping his spiked Knuckles as his anger was clouding his mind and making him vulnerable. Bison saw this and grabbed his fist and Liu Kang was grabbed by the face and tossed aside to make his punches to Vortex easier. He punched him in the face a few times while taunting him...

M. Bison: "Guess I was right. Did Mommy and Daddy buy you that toy? You really are such a little-" *Punches Vortex again* "Pansy!!" *Punches Vortex's arm and teleports behind him to grab the back of his head* "Of course you'd be so angry. I hear that you're so small and impotent that you take your anger out on others!" *Makes Vortex kneel and slams his head in the ground* "It makes you weak and easy to fight! It helps make my job easier!!" *Slams his head again and smiles evilly* "Your sacrifice is gonna be such a great history lesson!"

Bison saw Kung Lao and used his brainwashing technique on him but was interrupted by Liu Kang hitting him with a staff and performing another bicycle kick on him which actually made contact. He shot out fireballs and used his fatal blow to make a fire dragon that grabbed him and crashed him through a ceiling. Bison growled as he charged up his Psycho power. He punched the dragon so hard it broke it pieces and crashed onto the floor completely fine. He grabbed Liu Kang's body with his telekinesis.

M. Bison: "I shall show you the true power of the Psycho Crusher!!"

M. Bison smiled and was about to strike at Liu but Vortex was doing hand signs for Ice Release: Ice and the Ice Prison Technique which trapped Bison, making him struggle a bit as he started to break the ice from the inside. There was little time as he charged at Bison and prepared his final move to keep him at bay for a bit.

Vortex: "Lightning Release: Chidori!!!"

Vortex punched through M. Bison's chest and electrocuted him with as much power as he could. Bison growled in pain as Vortex stopped and panted with Bison seeming to be fried from the inside. Vortex took his fist out and Bison fell to the floor, not dead but none of the heroes could tell.

Vortex: "That's for Dorai."

Liu Kang: "No idea you had such power and a grudge against him."

Vortex: *Panting* "He's.... Powerful... But not much of a challenge. My masters are some of the most powerful ninjas there are."

Liu Kang: "Impressive. I'm sure I would have loved to train side by side with you."

Vortex smiled as Kung Lao ran towards the two.

Kung Lao: "I couldn't get the traps to stop!"

Right on que, one of the traps was activated and it was the most inescapable one, Poison gas! Bison was panting as he started to sit up and saw the gas, prompting him to teleport away with the trio being caught off guard by the cage that trapped them. The trio were coughing as they couldn't hold their breath much longer and breathed in the gas that was killing them slowly. They would have almost died if not for the gas disappearing.

Kung Lao: "It stopped." *Coughs* "Why?"

The cage was lifted and one of the doors was open as Jade's revenant and M. Bison walked out.

R. Jade: "Our plans require that you live."

Liu Kang: "Jade? What happened to you?"

R. Jade: "An untimely death. Like yours, due to Raiden's incompetence."

Liu Kang: "You cannot turn us against him. We heard about our deaths, they were caused by our mistakes."

R. Jade: "You have been deceived, Liu Kang. The truth is that Raiden murdered you and even your friend here knows."

Vortex felt a bit of guilt and regret for not telling the full truth but he glared at M. Bison who had his usual frown and Vortex got into a fighting stance with his anger brewing. The two walked away and let Kung Lao and Liu Kang deal with Jade's revenant version.

Liu Kang: "You spread lies, Jade!"

Kung Lao: "I prefer the real you better."

R. Jade: "Believe me or not, Raiden killed you because you stood in his way!"

She summoned her staff and got in a defense position. Liu charged fiercely at the revenant lady as she waited for him and as he got close, R. Jade parried Liu's attack as she counterattacked him. Little did she know that Kung Lao ambushed her with a Rising Rim which flinched her. R. Jade attacked back with a Pole Strike and a Palm Bash which launched Kung Lao back but Liu Kang managed to catch him in time!

Liu Kang: "I'll take your position, Lao!"

Sure enough, the warrior of Earthrealm was set to work and charged at her fiercely again, activating his flame fist for the right moment. Meanwhile R. Jade was in her defensive stance, blocking each punch with her staff but Liu Kang broke through the staff, breaking it in two. R. Jade used the two pieces in an attempt to keep her at bay as Kung Lao kicked her in the stomach and rapidly punched her face and knocked her out.

Meanwhile with M. Bison and Vortex...

Bison was a bit weakened but still determined to take down Vortex with all his muscle!

Vortex: "I knew you wouldn't stay down! You're a little roach that can survive a nuclear explosion!"

M. Bison: "Hmph! I'll still squish you like a bug! That "Dorai" nonsense was just fun to hear. You care about that little lady's father for some reason. I killed my father and you don't hear me crying about it!"

Vortex came at him with a kick but was blocked and punched a few times in the stomach. Vortex performed the same move Kung Lao used and punched him a lot but was much slower. The two kept going at it as Vortex was preparing another Chidori but Bison grabbed him with his telekinesis and slammed him down multiple times. He then launched him towards himself as he grabbed Vortex by the neck and smiled sinisterly, trying to choke him out.

M. Bison: "I'll be honest, I had hopes for you. Your body might have been useful if I used too much of my powers. But, oh well. Your rotting corpse will find it homely here in this temple along with the others!"

Vortex: *Struggling* "Burn.... In.... Hell... Bitch!!"

Vortex quickly used his hands to perform Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu but the air wasn't coming in that much and he only breathed out a tiny bit of fire that hit Bison's face, making him grunt in pain. He threw a punch which wasn't a lot but made Bison stumble a bit. Vortex could feel more pressure on his neck, making it harder for him to breathe as he glared at Bison, who was smirking at him.

M. Bison: "Look at me... I wanna watch life leave your eyes, you disgusting failure of a fighter. I'll make sure Chun Li gets the message before I snap her neck in two."

Before Bison could finish the job, his arm was slashed by Kung Lao and then Bicycle kicked away by Liu Kang.

Liu Kang: "Don't even try it, Bison!"

Bison held his side as he glared at the duo while Kung Lao held onto Vortex, who was coughing.

Kung Lao: "Are you OK, Vortex?"

Vortex: *Catching his breath* "I'm... I'm fine.... Fuck... Guys, finish the job. He's tougher than I thought he would be but he's a bit weaker from the chest wound."

Liu Kang: "Don't worry, Vortex. Keep yourself composed."

Kung Lao: "We'll keep this guy busy-" *Feels himself getting brainwashed and holds his head in pain*

M. Bison: *Laughs* I'm done playing! With all the power I have left, I'll make you my puppet!!"

Vortex's eyes widened and gasped as he tried to perform the Ice Prison Technique and froze M. Bison again. While M. Bison was doing this, Liu Kang snuck to surprise attack Bison by activating his flame fist and giving him a back of the head punch. Bison looked over in surprise and was met with another punch to the face, making him lose focus and giving a side kick, knocking him down.

Liu Kang: "Now I'm starting to understand why Vortex hates you, Bison." *Sees Kung & Vortex* "Guys, you two alright?"

Kung Lao: *Regaining his senses* "We're okay, Liu. Thanks. This M. Bison is a powerful opponent to face."

Vortex: *Regaining his senses* "Y-yeah..." *Stands up slowly* "Fuck... Thanks for saving me, guys. I'm forever in your debt."

Liu Kang: "No problem. Come on. We should leave before Bison wakes up."

The three started to head for the Dragon Grotto. Liu Kang and Kung Lao lifted up the gate as the three continued deeper in.

With Raiden... At the Elder Gods' domain...

Raiden teleported to where the Elder Gods sat and stood council as he looked at them all.

Raiden: "Elder Gods! I have come to seek counsel. The realms are in crisis."

Light began to shine as the Elder Gods awoke from their slumber.

Elder Gods: "The crisis is grave, indeed, Raiden. Every being will be erased in a temporal Armageddon, even we Elder Gods. Already our power weakens."

Raiden: "I will fight, Cetrion. But how?"

"Cetrion!" (Kronika's daughter and one of the Elder Gods!)

Cetrion: "You must find Kronika's Keep and gain control of her Hourglass. Only then will time's momentum be restored."

Raiden: "It will be done."

Raiden was about to leave but there was something on his mind that he couldn't ignore. Cetrion noticed this.

Cetrion: "Speak your mind, Raiden."

Raiden: "Since the time-merger, I have learned about my future. That my champions fall. That I become a tyrant. I have even met him and we already disagree and are at conflict. If Kronika was defeated, would I be consigned to this grim fate?"

Cetrion: "The restoration of time will not predetermine your destiny. That is for you to decide."

Raiden nodded as he found the words to not be so helpful. He left and went back to Earthrealm.

In the Dragon Grotto...

The trio entered the Dragon Grotto as they saw two figures collecting the Jensei, one of them surprising Vortex.

Kung Lao: "Would it be too late to ask for you to put those back?"

Vortex: "I hope not. Especially from someone like you... Nitrus Brio."

N. Brio: "So....it's good to see you again, M-M-Mr. Sakamoto! You've finally defeated Mr. Bison. Yet, I'm thinking of a rematch since you cheated last time!!" *Laughs maniacally* "I gotta hand it to you, Dr. N. Gin and I were almost shot down by the police if Kronika didn't have the love & compassion to spare & save us because she sees us as more trustworthy than Cortex & N. Tropy ever will be."

Geras: "Kronika shall deliver so long as you provide for her needs."

"Geras!" (Fixed point in time and immortal powerhouse created by Kronika!)

N. Brio: "It shall be done, Geras!" *Laughs*

Geras: "As for Liu Kang and Kung Lao... They said you'd come."

Kung Lao: "Who said that?"

????: "Who do you think, Kung Lao?"

Vortex: "Oh no..."

The trio looked to see Kung Lao and Liu Kang's future Revenants as they stared at them down.

Liu: "Are they... Kung and I?"

R. Liu Kang: "Welcome to your future. Courtesy of Raiden."

Liu Kang: "Our future may be tragic but it's not Lord Raiden's fault. You've been warped by Shinnok's evil."

R. Kung Lao: "Shao Khan snapped my neck in the arena. Raiden saw it coming and did nothing!"

R. Liu Kang: "I would have defeated Shao Khan! Raiden wanted the lord so he struck me down with his lightning!"

Liu Kang: "No! I don't believe that."

R. Kung Lao: "One day Raiden will betray you. Then you will believe."

Kung Lao struck first at his Revenant as the two were equal in strength and very agile. Vortex assisted Kung Lao as Liu Kang and his future self got into a fighting pose.

Liu Kang: "You spew Shinnok's lies. You attacked Lord Raiden and he defended himself. He did what he thought was right to protect Earthrealm."

R. Liu Kang: "Protect?! He enslaved Earthrealm! How was I ever so blind with you?!"

R. Liu Kang struck first as he threw a punch that was parried by Liu Kang. Vortex assisted by giving the Revenant version of Liu with Kikoken and a Spinning Bird Attack. Liu Kang charged at his duplicate and began to attack but R. Liu Kang fought back by attacking his organic counterpart with a Snap Kick and a Dragon Fist. Before he could attack Liu Kang more, Vortex ambushed him with a Bolshoi Russian Suplex Attack and hit him with an uppercut. Growing impatient, R. Liu Kang changed his target to Vortex instead of the regular Liu Kang! Vortex dodged the Revenant rival when he did Windmill Punch at him but failed. Little did R. Liu Kang knew that he let his guard down and his regular counterpart ambushed him with a Flying Dragon Strike and Vortex assisted him with a 10-Hit Combo and a final strike by Liu Kang, knocking the Revenant out. A KNOCKOUT!!!

Liu Kang: "The only blind one is you."

Vortex: "Seems like you're getting old at this."

Meanwhile, Kung Lao blocked and dodged some punches but was kicked in the stomach. He then parried R. Kung Lao's attack, and dealt two blows that knocked his future self out. With the three finished with their trial, they proceeded to confront Geras.

Geras: "With this power, Kronika will remake history."

Kung Lao grabbed his hat and tossed it at Geras' neck. Geras stood there with no reaction as his head was cut off perfectly, scaring N. Brio and the body falling on the floor. His hat came back as Kung Lao cleaned it off and smirked at Vortex and Liu Kang.

Kung Lao: "That was easy."

N. Brio: *Shrieks* "What have you done?! You killed the only Brawns I have with me!" *Pulls out his explosive and mutation potion beakers* "S-s-stay back! I'm warning you! I'm not afraid to mutate myself!" *Whimpering*

The four saw sand form on Geras' body as his head was moving and reattaching itself back onto Geras' body. He got up and stared them down.

Geras: "I, Geras, am a fixed point in time." *Cracks his neck* "With every death and Rebirth, I grow stronger."

N. Brio: "M-M-M-Mr. Geras. Oh thank goodness! I was so scared you were dead. Why Kronika didn't tell me you could do this, I don't know. Heh heh... heh..."

Geras: "No need to feel concerned about me, Doctor. Leave me. I shall handle these three myself."

N. Brio: "Y-yes, sir!" *Looks at the trio* "See you if you survive!!" *Laughs maniacally*

N. Brio grabbed the Jensei and started to run but Kung Lao threw the hat, cutting off N. Brio to make sure he didn't escape and Vortex ran towards N. brio and kicked him down while Kung Lao and Liu Kang kept Geras from getting to Vortex. Geras headbutted Liu Kang after deflecting Kung Lao's blows and smacking him aside as Liu Kang grabbed his Nunchucks and smacked his punch.

Vortex: *Knocks N. Brio down and grabs the Jensei* "Guys, I got it! Let's make a break for it-" *Gets frozen in time by Geras*

N. Brio: *Groans in pain as he growled at Vortex* "I'll show you who invented who! Let's see how powerful I can truly be!! *Starts chugging his mixed chemical potions* "Because I! Was in!" *Starts to mutate into a buff beast* "The first! GAME!!!" *Growls, beating his own chest and roars*

"Mutant N. Brio!" (Nitrus Brio Mutated!)

Kung Lao: "Fetch the Jensei and help Vortex, Chosen one." *Moves Liu Kang so he could fight Geras*

Geras: "You're strong. Nothing compared to the Great Kung Lao however."

Kung Lao: "You know my ancestor?"

Geras: "He stood a chance against me. You have none."

Kung Lao: "Well... Why don't you show me?"

Kung Lao got into a fighting stance as Geras attacked first with a Heavy Fist as it hit the legendary Earthrealm fighter. Resisting the pain, Lao fought back with a Spin Kick. He managed to hit Geras successfully but it wasn't enough. Before Kung Lao could attack again, Geras struck him with a Sand Trap and a Gauntlet Slam in addition. Growing impatient, Kung Lao performed a Shaolin Slam and a Shaolin Drop. He managed to hit Geras and gave him damage but Geras has more where that came from. Geras attempted to strike Kung with a Close Sand Trap but Kung Lao caught him off guard thanks to his famous Hat Toss move. Kung Lao knew it didn't do much but to only him it was a distraction for getting Geras' attention. The famous Shaolin Warrior attempted to perform only 3 of his Kombo Attacks. First, was the Fist Fury. Second was the Kung Tang, and finally, he saved the Fatal Blow for last. Geras was flinched by his opponent's moves but found his opening to rewind Kung Lao and freeze him. He was performing his own Fatal blow as he took out a staff and hit Kung Lao multiple times. He then manifested his gauntlet and uppercut him, launching him high in the air. Before Kung Lao could keep flying, he was rewinded back to the floor and punched him multiple times with his gauntlet, the last punch sending him back. Kung Lao held his stomach as he got up and was heavily damaged.

Geras: "You fought well. However, I seek that your defeat will aid in history."

Kung Lao charged and started to kick and slash Geras with his hat, giving all he's got. He then used all the energy and adrenaline to perform his final blow. Starting off with a flurry of punches to the stomach and chest. Kung Lao then threw his hat which stood idle as it started to spin and Kung Lao kicked Geras in the back, making him stumble forward and the hat slicing his forehead. Kung Lao grabbed his hat, threw it in the opposite direction and kicked Geras' stomach to slice his back. It was really bloody but worth it as the hat went through Geras. The final blow was Kung Lao decapitating, slicing the arms off and decapitating Geras as his body fell to the ground.

Kung Lao: "How's that for none?"

Kung Lao walked away but little did he know that Geras was slowly coming back to life.

Meanwhile... Vortex and Liu Kang...

During the fight with Kung Lao and Geras, Liu Kang and Vortex were having trouble with the mutated mad scientist.

N. Brio: *Roared ferociously*

Vortex: "You know, for a crazy mad scientist, he looks tough!"

Liu Kang: "I'm sure we can take him."

Liu Kang started to take his nunchucks out and hit N. Brio in the jaw, not dealing any damage.

N. Brio: *Smirked maniacally and roared as he starts to slam down his fists*

Luckily, Liu Kang moved out of the way before the fists collided with him but the shockwave knocked him back a bit. He got back up and N. Brio glared at them while slamming his fists down even more with each step.

Liu Kang: "Damn... He's invulnerable even to my weapons. We must find his weak spot immediately before he could crush us all!"

Vortex: "Don't worry, I know what his weak spot is! Just avoid the shockwaves and attack the head!"

N. Brio roared as he attempted to smash Liu & Vortex but little did he know that Liu was luring him to tire himself out. When the monster was dazed, that was Vortex's chance to strike him in the head with his Spiked Knuckles and Liu Kang joined in by attacking N. Brio with a Shaolin Spin. As Nitrus Brio regained his senses he began to slam his fists at the duo repeatedly like no tomorrow. He grabbed a rock nearby and threw it at the duo, Vortex breaking the rock in half by punching it with his spiked knuckles.

Vortex: *Glaring at N. Brio* "Nice try..."

The daring fighter punched the mad monster's head, leaving himself dazed and Vortex punched him in the face again with the spikes damaging his face. The two kept going at it as they pulled no punches.

Vortex: "Keep going and give him no time to think!"

Liu Kang: "Got it!"

The two held nothing back and continued their assault until N. Brio growled and grabbed Liu Kang's leg. He then started to slam him down onto the ground numerous times, slamming him into Vortex and the two were knocked back. N. Brio was about to slam down on them but N. Brio was slashed in the hip by Kung Lao's hat, causing the mutant to roar in pain but regenerate the wound.

Kung Lao: "You two look like you're in need of help."

Vortex: "Glad you finished with Geras. You OK? You seem so battered up."

Kung Lao: "Like you guys are any better. If anything, Geras is way worse right now."

N. Brio growled and the three got into aggressive offense mode again.

Vortex: *Serious and charging up Chidori* "I call the final blow!"

N. Brio beat his chest and roared as the three jumped at him... Until they were frozen in time by Geras. N. Brio was confused and saw Geras, back from his decapitation, walking towards them as he grabbed the Jensei and dusted it off. The sands of time whirled as Kronika appeared.

Kronika: "That's quite enough, Doctor. Your job here is done."

N. Brio nodded as he walked over and Geras gave Kronika the Jensei. He looked back at the trio.

Geras: "It's dangerous to keep them alive."

Kronika: "If they die, their revenant selves will cease to exist. At least for Liu Kang and Kung Lao. Perhaps Vortex might be of use to Infinite for cloning with this group of robots and his gemstone called the Phantom Ruby. Bison will enjoy seeing his old friend at the keep." *Goes over to Liu Kang and Kung Lao as N. Brio grabs Vortex* "Once again, Liu Kang... You joined the wrong side. One day, you'll soon regret it."

The villains were brought back to the keep as Kronika used her powers to teleport Liu Kang & Kung Lao far away from the Dragon Grotto. Little did they know they were watched by someone familiar to the Y/N Heroes.

????: "Hmph! Just like in the Squid Game Incident. Whatever it takes to stop Kronika, she's mine!" *Takes out his bag with the 7 Chaos, Sol & Super Emeralds* "Even if I have to use these and kill anyone who's been an enslaved marionette. Vengeance will be mine and for Y/N!"
