December 31st, 2017 New Year's Eve

Collins's POV

We finally made it. The Youtube Party was just a block away. I slowly veer to the side of the road and put on my brake to stop. Devan unbuckles his seatbelt without much word, his hand holding the handle of the door. I guess Devan is anticipating to get there as much as I was.

Soon we both crawl out of the vehicle and walk on the  sidewalk towards our destination. I stare up at the lit building, my nerves beginning to squirm. What will they think of me? Will they think I'm some shabby creator? An unqualified person to have such a platform as I hold? I fidget with my collar, trying to calm myself down.

I tilt my head towards my brother. He was starting to tense up. From that notion I knew he was becoming nervous. I try to reassure him...and also myself, "Hey," he looks up at me, "let's just be ourselves. There's no need to be fake to impress some high maintenance crowd." Devan slowly nodded, exhaling a sigh, "Yeah, I know. I don't want to make you look bad...for having me come."

That's when I stopped, "What do you mean?" Devan looked down quickly, "I-I'm not a youtuber, you are. I'm just a sidekick..it's your channel." Is that what he really thought? Because...I don't see it that way at all. I put my hand on his shoulder, making him look up at me, "Don't cut yourself so short. You're such a tremendous help to the channel, I need you. That's why you should be here."

He finally smiles at me, "Thanks, Collins." I smile back, "Anytime bro."

Devan's POV

"Name please," the security guard in front of us asked firmly. I looked up at my brother as he spoke, "Collins Key." The guard scanned his large list and checked it off ...then looked at me, "Who's this?"

I immediately felt worse than I did. Of course he didn't know who I was, I wasn't expecting anything more. I felt like I was in a pond of important people..and I don't belong. I'm just some shrimpy kid.

That's when Collins indicated me by placing his hand on my back, "This is my little bro, Devan Key," he then looked at me, "he's..a very important part of my channel." That made me suddenly smile. As long as I knew Collins had my back, I'd be okay.

The guard looked at me once more, and then checked off the list again. He moved out of our way, giving each of us name tags, "Put these on and have a good time." The man tried to give a happy vibe, but he just seemed tired. I paid no mind to it as my brother and I walked inside.

What Collins and I saw was...incredible. It was pretty much a giant venue, a buffet on the side of the wall and tables with white cloths set up nicely. As well there was a DJ at the side of the room that blasted some pretty neat tunes, coming from someone who is familiar with DJing. There was a vast number of top creators walking around with their name tags, holding glasses and talking with one another.

I looked up at my brother as he looked all around in awe, "Dude, this is sick!" I agreed, "I know bro! Where should we start? There's so much to do." Collins began to process his thoughts, "...Let's go find a table." Without argument, I walked alongside him around the crowd to look for a spot to sit.

Brooklyn's POV

"Brook! Brook! I can't believe we're here!!" My sister continued to scream in my ear and squeezing my hand till it was turning purple. I just laughed along with her, "I know, I know! It's honestly amazing.." Bailey began to pull my hand and took me around as she looked for some people to meet. I was just as excited but my sister has had this on her mind for weeks, she is just now bursting out of control..

"Do you think Superwoman is here?" She asked me with a sparkle in her eyes. I smile at her, "I bet she is," I scan the crowd and I suddenly spot her," Oh! I see her! ..but it looks like she's busy." Bailey frowned a little, "hmmm..let's find someone that isn't swarmed yet."

We both look around and I suddenly spot two young men standing by an empty table, "Hey Bailey, how about those two?" My sis turns at the sight and grins, "They look nice, and sort of charming."

I hit her slightly, "Bailey! You're dating Asa!" She starts to laugh beside me, "I know sis! Chill out I was just teasing. Come on, let's go meet them." I laugh with her and we both walk over to them.

As we began to head over, I quickly analyzed the boys finding them to look similar. Not twins..but related. They have to be brothers. One had blonde hair, was slightly taller than the other, and wore a shiny key necklace overtop his suit. The other boy had brunette hair and was slightly shorter. The one thing that caught my attention almost immediately was their piercing blue eyes. It was more pure than the ocean..like pairs of crystals.

Finally, Bailey and I made it to the boys who didn't even see us heading over to them. My sister was the first to speak, "Hey!" They suddenly turned toward us and smiled. The older one spoke, "Hey, my names Collins Key and this is my brother Devan." Devan gave a small wave. I realized that Devan was probably the most reserved one of the two so I just waved back.

"My name is Bailey and this is my sister Brooklyn, if you didn't notice we're twins," my sister said with a giggle. Collins laughed along, "I did, it's really good to meet you guys. We just got here, do you mind if we tag along with you two?" Bailey looked at me and we both looked back at the boys as I answered, "We just got here too, so I guess we can all just hang out here."

Collins nodded, "Awesome!" I looked at Devan again, "You don't talk much, do you?" He suddenly seemed to realize and began to rub his neck, "I sorta just let my bro do the talking." I teased, "Well, maybe we'll just have to change that." Devan began to smirk, "Is that so?"

"Yep, very much so," we both laugh a little and I just look at Collins and Bailey starting a conversation. This is pretty awesome.

Veronica's POV

"It's so cool to see you again, Brent!" I say as my sister and I finished taking a selfie with Brent Rivera, an awesome youtuber and friend we filmed with a while ago. He just looked at us with a smile, "It's so good to see my favorite set of twins anywhere." Nessa and I say bye to him as he is pulled in the other direction by some other creators to say hi.

I'm having such a great time being here but Vanessa has been giving off a distant vibe since we've arrived. I frown and whisper to her quietly, "Nessa, are you okay?" She looked at me with a startled as if she was stuck deep within her thoughts, "Huh? Oh, sorry I've...just been so claustrophobic with all of the crowd."

I wasn't sure if I should believe her or not but I accept the answer anyway, "Okay..how about we go sit at a table?" She just nods and we both head through the crowd to find an empty area to sit.

Vanessa's POV

Okay...I'm not claustrophobic. I just can't get Grayson's message out of my head. I REALLY don't want to run into him here at this party. The thought of it is making me sick. I just keep my head down as I walk through the crowd praying I don't see him.

Collins's POV

The Mcknight Twins, my brother and I soon grab a little bit of food and began to talk to learn more about each other. From what I found is that Brooklyn and Bailey are very sweet and pretty girls that are filled with so much joy with what they do on their channel. It seems like Devan really likes them too, and also looks to be getting along with Brooklyn really well. That makes me happy he and I made a few friends here.

I finished eating and start to get up to go throw away my trash, "I'll be back." Soon I head over to the trash can, finding some creators come up to me and introduce themselves. They all looked to be very pleasant and I was glad to meet them. From that detour, I walked back to the table, trying not to bump into all of the people crossing paths by me.

I tried my best to not get in anyones way and I thought I was in the clear, not quite. A body suddenly collided with mine, almost pushing me over.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! I—I wasn't looking." I look down to see who was talking was a girl. I pulled away and say softly, "Hey it's fine, I'm alright. Are you okay?" She then looked up at me and—I suddenly felt my air leave me. This young woman had long black hair, milky brown eyes, and was..beautiful. The girl began to calm down, "I'm fine..thanks."

A smile broke across her face and my heart trembled. I didn't know what to say until she continued, "My sister and I were just trying to find a place to sit..she's feeling claustrophobic." I looked to the girl next to her and realized that they were almost identical. Another set of twins?? That's pretty cool. The other one looked uneasy and I concluded I needed to help them, "There's some room at my table, you two can sit with us."

"That'd be awesome," soon she introduced herself, "My names Veronica and this is my sister Vanessa. We're the Merrell Twins." I smiled to myself, Veronica..it fit her so well. I lifted my hand to her, "My names Collins Key." Veronica smiled at me, "Nice to meet you, Collins." She reached her hand to me as well and we shook, not breaking eye contact.

I couldn't take my eyes off her...until I realized I never said hi to the other twin, "It's really good to meet you too Vanessa." She began to grin too, "You can call me Nessa for short."

"Oh, you can call me Roni," Veronica added with a giggle. We all laughed and I suggested, "It's good to meet you both! I'll show you where me and the others are sitting." They both agreed and we headed through the crowd once more.
