SM-06's P.O.V

I'm now outside the Kingsley Enterprises building after the attack.

Everyone is safe now, but I did get my ass kicked. Only a little bit.

But I'm currently doing an interview with the repoters at the event.

Reporter: It seems that thing had you on the ropes, Spider-Man. Are you alright?

SM-06: Oh, yeah, I'm good. It got few lucky shots, but I definitely did more damage.

Reporter #2: Spider-Man, do you know what that thing was?

SM-06: I have no idea what it was, but it was ugly. Don't worry, people. Spider-Man has it all under control. Because I am Spider-Man, me.

Just then Batwinf flies in and the reporter's immediately rush over to him.

SM-06: Hey!

I sigh.

SM-06: Damn it.

After that I see a woman come over.

She's the one who was with Kingsley when that freak showed up.

???: Are you sure you're okay, Spider-Man? You did take some hard hits.

SM-06: Yeah, I'm good. I heal fast. Who are you though?

???: I'm Kara Andrews, reporter for the Daily Bugle.

We shake hands and I smirk.

SM-06: So, how old are you?

She scoffs.

Kara: How old are you?

SM-06: Old enough.

Kara: Let's just say I'm too old for you, kid.

SM-06: Okay, babe. Whatever you say. I gotta go.

I rush away before firing a web line to swing off.

Third person perspective

Once the new Spider-Man was gone, Luke goes over to Kara.

Luke: Hey, Kara.

Kara: Hey. You okay?

Luke: Yeah. That thing didn't even land a hit on me.

Kara: Okay. Speaking of which, we need to find out who or what that thing is.

Luke: Agreed. So, did you find anything on our new Spider-Man?

She looks at him.

Kara: I did. And you're not gonna believe what I found out.

Luke: What'd you find?

They both look over to Kingsley who is being interviewed by the reporter's.

Daniel: Yes. Kingsley Enterprises' new Spider-Man can handle that thing. The kid can handle anything that comes his way. Kingsley Enterprises will protect this city.

Kara: Daniel Kingsley is lying, as usual.

(The next day)

Luke, Kara and Anya Corazon a.k.a Spider-Woman are at the Spider Cave.

They're currently watching the news report for today.

It has now been revealed to the world that the new Spider-Man is a clone.

As the report plays an image of SM-06 from the gala appears on screen.

Anya: He's actually pretty cute.

Kara and Luke look at her.

Anya: What just cause he's working for the bad guy doesn't mean he's not cute.

Luke: Okay...

Anya: Anyway, are we sure this is real? You know, him being a clone. I mean he doesn't really look like Barry.

Luke: You sure about that? Take a look at 'em side by side.

Fox puts images of both of them next to each other.

Anya: Okay, never mind. I see it now.

Kara: But he doesn't look enough like Barry to be exact copy.

Luke: That's cause he's not. To create a clone like this there'd have to be two sets of DNA. One belongs to Barry, but I don't know who the other belongs to.

Kara: We need to find out.

Luke: Agreed.

Anya: How are Nora and Henry taking all this?

Kara: As well as you might expect. They just wanna meet him. Help him.

Anya: Do you think we can?

Kara: I hope so. Being around Kingsley isn't for anyone, especially for him.

(Three days later)

SM-06's P.O.V

So, it turns out that I'm a clone, the Daily Bugle reported it the day after the gala.

I can't believe Kingsley didn't tell me, I deserved to know the truth.

But right now that doesn't matter I get to meet people and alot of girls.

I'm now out taking pictures with two girls on the street.

Girl: Thank you for doing this.

SM-06: Of course.

They both kiss me on the cheek as I take the picture.

Girl: Thank you! Bye!

Girl #2: He's so cute.

SM-06: Thanks. Bye, girls.

Just then a limo pulls up and the window rolls to to reveal Daniel.

Daniel: Get in the limo, now. 

SM-06: Yes, dad.

I go over and get into the limo.

(Thirty minutes later)

The limo is now driving down the street.

Right now I'm rolling the window up and down.

Daniel: You need to be done with this. All this swinging through the city, saving cats from trees, taking pictures with pretty girls. It's over.

SM-06: Hey, I'm just doing what you want me to do. I'm being Spider-Man. Everyone knows it.

Daniel: Not everyone.

He brings down the screen infront of us and shows me a news report.

Daniel: You see what they're calling you now, right?

SM-06: Really? Spider-Boy? I'm Spider-Man.

Daniel: Clearly not to everyone. Alot of people still believe there's only one Spider-Man, Barry L/N. And you're just a clone, a carbon copy.

SM-06: Speaking of which, thanks for not telling me I'm a clone. I appreciate it.

He sighs.

Daniel: So, you're a clone. What's the big deal?

SM-06: The big deal is you didn't tell me and I had a right to know. And stop doing that with the window.

I stop and leave the window closed.

Daniel: I didn't think it mattered. And yes, you're genetically engineered, who isn't these days? A little DNA from here, a little DNA from there. Boom, you're here. Congratulations.

He grabs me by the face.

Daniel: The only difference between you and a child born naturally is that I put alot of money into bringing you into the world.

SM-06: Take your hand off me, or it'll the last time you'll ever use it.

He smirks and let's me go.

Daniel: So, you still got some fight in you? Good. You'll need it.

SM-06: Need it for what?

Daniel: I got you a mission. A big one. If you do a good job, you'll be seen as the one and only Spider-Man. It's time to grow up, Spider-Boy.

SM-06: Alright.

I'm now Spider-Boy. I am Spider-Man.
