Both of the main characters courageously face many challenges within their families. Despite the odds, they persist, leaving me in awe. Title And Book Cover: 1-10 score (9 of 10)
The breathtakingly beautiful clear backdrop adorns the book cover for Love At Dawn, exuding an enchanting historical romance flair. The scene depicted perfectly aligns with the plot and blurb of the story, transporting readers to a bygone era. While the title seamlessly intertwines with the narrative, it may not be entirely unique, as several other titles on Wattpad share the same or similar name or theme.
Blurb: 1-10 score (9-10)
The blurb is concise, falling in line with the overall plot of the story. It is well written, with no grammar or punctuation mistakes. However, it is quite lengthy. To improve the flow and appeal to the reader, I suggest removing the dialogue portion at the beginning and starting with ‘Story of Fiona’. This change would make the blurb flow better and leave a bit of mystery, intriguing the reader and making them more eager to read the story.
Plot/Creativity/Originality: 1-20 score (19 of 20)
The vivid plot and unparalleled creativity of this timeless classic transport readers to another world. I’ve had the privilege of evaluating this book once before, and returning after three months has granted me a renewed perspective. The meticulous attention to descriptive text is astonishing, immersing readers on a sensory journey. This book is an absolute must-read, captivating not only the mind but also the senses.
Character Development: 1-20 score (19-20)
Incredible, considering the time period, she emerges as a young child in the opening, but blossoms into a remarkable, well-educated, self-reliant young woman, who remains unperturbed by others’ opinions. Her empowering transformation of independence is remarkable.
Story Flow: 1-10 score (10 of 10)
The story’s flow is perfect throughout the book. Neither slow nor fast paced.
Grammar: 1-10 score (9 of 10)
While reading, I noticed only a few grammar issues which I promptly addressed. Overall, there were hardly any errors that I came across during my reading.
Writing Style: 1-10 score (10 of 10)
It’s a rare gem to stumble upon a book so exquisitely crafted, where every word paints vivid pictures in the mind’s eye and transports the reader into the shoes of the main characters. The sheer delight I felt while the sensory feast of sights, sounds, and actions heightened my reading pleasure. I relish the anticipation of delving into ‘Love At Dawn' further in the future.
Overall Engagement and Enjoyment: 1-10 score (10 of 10)
To be honest, I was sad to have to put the book down because, given my busy home-life, I probably would have kept reading. The book’s flow is effortless, and highly engaging. As a reader, I could completely immerse myself and get lost in the descriptive details of dialogue, action, and surroundings. The fact that grammar and punctuation were also on point enhanced my reading pleasure. However, the only issue I found was the lack of descriptive text with the female protagonist’s emotions, which was disappointing considering how amazing the rest of the descriptions are. Other than that, the book is perfect.
Overall Score: 1-100 score (95 of 100)

Title And Book Cover: 1-10 score (10 of 10)
The title of the book is both original and creative, perfectly coinciding with the overall plot of the story. Additionally, the imagery is stunning, bold, and clear, providing a pleasing and captivating experience. Moreover, the font used on the book cover is bold and stands out perfectly, making it visually appealing.
Blurb: 1-10 score (8 of 10)
The blurb requires editing in order to convey a clearer message to the reader. By making it more intriguing, you can capture the reader’s attention and compel them to read the book.
Plot/Creativity/Originality: 1-20 score (19 of 20)
Throughout my extensive years of reading, I have never encountered a plot as extraordinary as the one found in ‘Beyond Time and Century.’ While I have delved into the realms of time travel literature before, this book stands out for its unparalleled uniqueness and boundless creativity. Whenever I find a moment of respite, I will undoubtedly return to immerse myself further in its pages.
However, I must admit that the unfolding of the plot takes its time. I distinctly remember two lengthy chapters, possibly chapters 3 and 4, in which the main female protagonist adamantly withheld crucial information from her grandfather, leaving him relentlessly seeking answers. The tension and anticipation hung in the air, as if time itself had slowed down, as I kept reading to uncover the truth.
Character Development: 1-20 score (18 of 20)
The main character’s character development is slow, but it’s understandable given that she has been a diva her whole life pretty much. Being the only daughter born to the family in over three hundred years, she has been overprotected and spoiled her entire life. However, her demeanor undergoes a drastic change when she leaves her family and finds herself thrust into several centuries in the past.
Story Flow: 1-10 score (9 of 10)
The flow of the book was perfect in most chapters, but it slowed down for two chapters before picking up again and becoming perfect once more. I believe it was in chapters 3 and 4 where the flow of the story kind of trailed off a bit. It was like, “Yes, I want to know why?! Can’t wait!” However, these two chapters focused on her grandfather’s efforts to find answers from her.
Grammar: 1-10 score (8 of 10)
There were a few issues here and there. But I addressed those as I came across them.
Writing Style: 1-10 score (9 of 10)
The writing style was smooth and intriguing. I feel if the author could somehow work on those two chapters where she’s conversing with her grandfather about what she truly wants and why. And somehow shorten the two chapters and make them into one. The story’s flow would be greatly improved.
Overall Engagement and Enjoyment: 1-10 score (9 of 10)
I found this book to be absolutely amazing. It provided a refreshing escape with its original and unique plot, which was a welcome change from the repetitive stories I’ve encountered countless times before. The thrilling narrative had me on the edge of my seat throughout. The descriptive text, in particular, was truly wonderful. As a visual reader, I could immerse myself in the story, feeling as though I was walking in the shoes of the female protagonist. While there were some grammatical issues that could benefit from editing, such as unnecessary “ed” endings on certain words, I understand English may not be the author’s native language, so I overlooked these minor flaws. Overall, “Beyond Time and Century” is a must-read book that I highly recommend.
