Here's a small look into what I'm planning.

"A sparse forest is in view as a small clearing can be seen, bushes and ferns scattered throughout. At first there seems to be little activity, but this changes when a gray, bipedal pokemon roughly the size of a person enters the clearing, closely followed by two seemingly miniature versions of itselves. This is a Rampardos, and its offspring, two Cranidos. The Rampardos seemingly looks around suspiciously, as if anticipating danger. After a moment, it motions the Cranidos to follow as it approaches a bush and proceeds to bite down.

Contrary to what many believe, this evolution line was not carnivorous, but rather herbivores, although certainly not placid herbivores most of the time. The Cranidos, looking up at their mother, felt reassured and began chowing down on the numerous ferns surrounding them. Closer looks reveal a lengthy slash across the Rampardos' side. Although seemingly ignored by her now, one could tell that whatever inflicted that injury didn't get the time to add any more. Indeed, this was an indirect warning heeded by the five pokemon surrounding this family.

Soon, one of these pokemon leaps out into the clearing, letting out an earsplitting screech. The Rampardos immediately notices this and takes caution as the rest of the pokemon also enter the clearing, revealing a vicious pack of Velozolt. These predators were among the smartest during their time, so it would make sense that they would hesitate before attacking. Despite their appearance and slow speed, a single headbutt from a Rampardos could cripple even a Tyrantrum for a long time. These Velozolt could only imagine what it could do to them, and clearly none of them wanted to find out.

The Rampardos poised itself to make a move while beckoning the babies behind it to hide, which they gladly accepted. Normally, Velozolt went after the babies, but that was only when they were seperated, and they would have to deal with the mother as well this time if they did. Cranidos also had potent attacking power, and there was too much at risk at the moment to seperate themselves. Ignoring the fleeing Cranidos, the pack began to surround the lone Rampardos, which loudly bellowed in a failed attempt to intimidate her predators.

Dashing forward, a Velozolt strikes the angry mother with Bolt Beak, catching her off guard as it instantly retreats. Stunning her for a moment, Rampardos swings her thick skull wildly around, to no success, being too slow for her attacker. Taking advantage of the opening, another Velozolt runs up and delivers another jab to the Rampardos' side, causing her to stumble and groan. Taking a few steps back and tensing up, another Velozolt runs up to her only to stumble back upon seeing her ready to charge. The other Velozolt upon seeing this mimic this behavior as Rampardos runs forward without caution, striking a tree and easily felling it.

Recoiling from the attack, Rampardos had no time to prepare as a Velozolt jabs her again, this time causing her to let loose a scream of pain. Enraged, the mother blindly swings her head towards the injury, hitting the same Velozolt in the process, who couldn't dodge in time, and was flung out of the grove into a tree with a sickening crack. Falling limply onto the forest floor, the bloodied Velozolt didn't get up again.

The other four Velozolt were watching this and flew into madness. Two of them ran up at once and leapt onto Rampardos' back, tearing at her rocky skin. She attempted to shake them off until one of them struck her with a Bolt Beak, causing her to weakly yell before hanging her head low. She was getting weaker. Making one final attempt to charge the pack, she ran ahead, getting both Velozolt off of her, before simply stopping, too tired to go on. With that, a Velozolt leapt onto her again, causing the mother to weakly groan and topple over onto the earth near the edge of the clearing.

The pack now looked to be communicating while watching their bounty, which while breathing was smothered in bleeding gashes. They advanced closer, still a little distrusting, before one of them called to the largest one, the alpha, who was currently on Rampardos, asking if they were ready to eat. The alpha waited a moment before calling back that it was okay, and upon bending down to take a bite, both Cranidos charged out of the bushes, aimed directly at the pack. Most babies would've continued to hide, but Cranidos aren't very smart, and they were in a blind fury from seeing their mother downed.

The pack caught attention of the babies and attempted to dodge, the alpha backing off of Rampardos. One Cranidos missed entirely, while the other bashed a rather slow Velozolt onto the ground. It slowly got up, coughing blood, and limped away, while the Cranidos lined up to defend her mother, who was starting to stir herself. The alpha commanded to attack again, but both were careful, and barely managed to even hit each other. Then a Cranidos caught a jumping Velozolt by surprise jumping up while it was already jumping up onto it, and headbutted it into the air.

Once the Velozolt came crashing down, Rampardos slowly started to pick herself up. The rest of the pack stopped attacking while the alpha Velozolt tried to kill the baby as a last resort, until her brother came to her aid, causing the alpha to back off. Snarling, the alpha watched as Rampardos finally got up, still bleeding but extremely angry. She bellowed while her children stood by her side as the pack watched, awaiting the alpha's commands. The Velozolt screeched, telling the pack to call off the hunt, and they all disappeared into the trees, leaving a mess of blood behind.

Rampardos looked at the two sons who had saved her life and stared in approval, seemingly thanking them. Both Cranidos nuzzled up against her legs in return, and she went to lie down on the ground, resting her maimed body, while her children resumed eating the foilage around them, keeping a vigilant watch in the process."

Didja like it? Well, here's the thing, I'm not gonna be the only one working on this. There's gonna be so, SO much more than just this. I can't wait to reveal it!
