Nowadays we don't have to give in to the traditional Christmas carols, we now have modern pop and pop rock music providing us with songs to boost the Christmas spirit,  we will dive into some classics, and some of the best Christmas pop music in the world. From Sir Cliff Richard to Slade, from Mariah Carey to Bing Crosby, this chapter has all the makings of a pop music Christmas.

Ok we begin with Bing Crosby, and his title song from the movie of the same name. White Christmas a all time Christmas classic song

Such a beautiful song, if you ask me.

There are many versions of the Christmas Song but my all time favourite version of the song is Michael Bublé

Modern crooner Micheal Bublé is better at singing this song that Bay King Cole.

Christmas just isn't Christmas without Slade, Noddy Holder is a legend, not only he sang party hit, The Superman, but this is Christmas, his famous hit for this time of year is Merry Christmas Everybody.

One song that is a Christmas song and a charity hit in one is Band Aid 1984 original, Do they Know it's Christmas? You know it's Christmas when this song kicks off the festivities.

The Darkness, a pop rock band done a sing for the Festive season, the music video for the song is fantastic, if you want to feel some Pre-Christmas angst, listen to Christmas Time (Don't let the bells end).

And of course, if you like Raymond Briggs classic, The Snowman, listen to Child tenor, Aled Jones, the theme song of the said telefilm, Walking In The Air. Which is also been tweaked for a Scottish soft drink advert.

Mel and Kim have a classic Christmas song, Rocking Around The Christmas Tree, it's fun to listen to and the video is fun to watch.

Wizzard had a classic Christmas song as well, which involves children in the music video. I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday is the song in question.

Mariah Carey has a brilliant Christmas song as well, which was covered by My Chemical Romance, All I Want For Christmas Is You. It is such a beautiful song and a classic.

Sir Cliff Richard has a classic Christmas song as well, and he sings his song with the spirit of the story of Jesus as he is a Christian too. He sings a song called Milseltoe and Wine

I saw mommy kissing Santa Claus is a favourite of mine, and I love it so much as the song is also the name of a film as well.

Also I love Eartha Kitt, Santa Baby is highly is highly popular because this is another Christmas song favourite of mine.

And of course, you can't have Christmas without the song, Santa Claus is comin' to Town.

Then there's a song about one of Santa's reindeer. Yup the one fabled to have a red nose. Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer.
