Pacifica stood in front of the door not knowing what to do.Would it make her seem desperate?

Desperate for her boyfriend's attention?

Nevertheless, she knocked on the wooden door,hoping it was him who answered and not anybody else.But it seems like life hated her, because now standing in front of her was Mabel Pines.

Mabel put on a sour, dissaproving look.Pacifica knew Mabel hated her for 'stealing' Dipper away.

And Pacifica hated her just as much.

But this time, Pacifica decided to put away her negative thoughts and remarks.So instead of giving Mabel her usual smirk, she smiled.

Mabel seemed taken aback by the sudden gesture but remained her sour expression.

"What are you doing here?"

"Well, I wanted to see Dipper."

"Why?"

"B-Becaus-"

"Because, Mabel, she's my girlfriend."

Mabel gasped and turned around.Dipper was behind her, giving her the 'what-do-you-think-you're-doing?' look.

"U-Uh, hey bro-bro!"

"Hi Dipper!"

Mabel shot a glare at Pacifica, daring her to say another word.But of course, Pacifica wasn't shaken by this.

"Dipper,can I talk to you please?Alone?"

Dipper laughed.He shrugged and turn to Mabel.He cleared his throat rather loudly.But Mabel still stood her ground.

"Mabel...come on..."

"Oh, so since you have a girlfriend now, you think you can ignore your sister?"

"Mabel Pines..." Dipper warned her.

Mabel sighed and stepped aside.

"Fine then.Like I care."Then, Mabel turned around without a word.

Dipper held Pacifica's hand.She welcomed his warmth and he led her to the porch.

"Sorry you had to see that."Dipper still held her hand.

Blushing, Pacifica looked away.
"You don't need to be sorry."

Dipper was so nice to her.Dipper was nice to everybody .

"Uh, I wanted to ask you something.."

"Yeah?"

"W-Well, tomorrow, the town is having their usual early-Christmas celebration."

"What's that?"

" Well, we all gather around and decorate the town and...stuff."

"O...K?"

"So I was thinking, would you- um..well you see, I wanted to...uh..."

"You want me to go with you?"

Pacifica faced him, staring into his eyes.

"I-Is that wrong?"

Suddenly, Dipper hugged her.Pacifica's cheeks flushed a deep shade of scarlet.

"Silly, you made me the happiest boy alive.."

"Dipper dear! Help me carry these boxes?"

"Sure thing, Mrs. Cat lady that I have never met!"

Pacifica glued on a sequin to a paper cut out of an angel.She looked at Dipper in awe. How can he be so cheerful? So helpful? So nice?

So not like her?

Since the celebration began, he had been busy helping everyone . He even offered to do Pacifica's work but she denied.

What did a person like her do to deserve a person like him ? There must've been a mistake for sure.

Pacifica shook her head.She shouldn't think like this, she should be grateful! She grabbed another angel cut out and continued to glue sequins onto it.

She was busy doing her job when three girls came to her.She looked up and saw Mabel, Candy and Grenda.

"Hello." Pacifica forced a smile.What were they doing here?

"What is your motive?"

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me, Pacifica. Why are you dating my brother?"

Pacifica raised an eyebrow.

"Is it wrong?"

Grenada laughed and wiped her tears.Mabel snickered.

"Wrong? Wrong ? Of course it's wrong!" Mabel slammed her fist onto the table, causing a jar of sequins to topple over.Pacifica thanked the god above that it didn't fall off the table.

"A person like you with my brother? Nonsense! You're evil and-and crazy! If it weren't for you, Candy could've had a shot at Dipper!"

Pacifica turned to Candy.She never knew Candy had a crush on Dipper.

Pacifica sighed and took a deep breath.

"Girls, I'm sorry tha-"

"Sorry doesn't cut it!" Candy practically yelled."Dipper was mine!Mine!"

Pacifica couldn't calm down any longer.She rocketed out of her seat.

"Keyword : was."

"See, you aren't good enough for my brother! "

" I so AM !"

People were starting to whisper and stare.Mabel looked around, satisfied.

"Pacifica! Mabel!" Dipper ran towards them.

"I heard you two shouting.What is going on?"Dipper crossed his arms.

Pacifica was about to speak when Mabel beat her to it.

"She started it!Everybody! This...this monster is tricking him!"

"Mabel!Dipper I didn-"

" It is true!" Candy voiced out."She wants him for her own personal gain!"

Pacifica shoved Candy.All she was seeing was red.Red all over.

"I am not using him!"Pacifica looked around and saw Dipper's shocked face.Pacifica looked down.Candy was unconscious.

"Candy?!" Mabel and Grenda screeched in horror.Pacifica shooked her head and slowly backed away, her eyes never leaving Candy's body.

"No...no...no..."

"Call an ambulance!"

"Somebody help!"

Pacifica looked at Dipper who was now by Candy's side.He looked at her for a second but quickly looked away.

"No....no...no...no..."

"You monster ! Look at what you've done!" Mabel yelled.Pacifica didn't like being yelled at.

"I...I...no...." Pacifica ran away to the direction of her car.She got in and accidentally startled the chauffer.

"Take me home now ."

"Yes, miss."

Pacifica could hear the distant wailing siren of the ambulance.She prayed Candy was safe.She- It was an accident!

She looked back and saw Dipper.He was staring at her.Then, he turned around....

Mabel was right.She was a monster.She didn't deserve Dipper.

Pacifica locked herself in her room that night.No matter how hard her parents persuaded her, she just won't come out.

I wonder if she could still hear them.
