My life is flashing before my eyes.

Flashes of my childhood.

Me running in district seven.

Flashes of me and Spencer kissing.

Flashes of my games when Jack almost killed me.

My whole life is flashing before my eyes.
I am going to die.

"Jessie, it's better now."The voice of my childhood friend whispers.

"No."I whispered.

I felt weak but I can't die.

I have to fight.

But I can't.

"I can't let my friends die."I whispered.

I feel pain and agony.

But I'm still breathing.

I'm still alive.

But what if my love decides I won't wake up.

I have to wake up.

"Wake me up inside."

I'm dead.

I should except the fact.

That's when I feel something soft and warm touching my hand.

"Jessie, please wake up."Spencer whispered.

I can hear him but I can't move.

I can't show him I understand.

"She'll wake up."Rue said trying to sound confidant.

"The games are tommorow."Spencer said.

I try to move but I can't.

"We have to unplug her."The nurses voice said.

"No."Spencer cried.

They can't.
I'm going under.
They are going to unplug me.

"I'm sorry Spencer."President Swirl whispered in his ear.

I can tell Spencer left the room because it's quiet.

"Jessie, I know you can hear me."President Swirl whispers.

"I must confess, I thought you were smart. We found Jack, he is going to be executed."President Swirl whispered softly.

Nurse Joy who I met once before when Haymitch hurt me seems to be trying to say something.

"Born to a legend, killed by a idiot."Joy muttered.

I open my eyes for a split second and they close again.

But they noticed.

"She's alive."Joy gasps and step back.

"Spencer?"I say half drowsy.

"He's not here."Another nurse says.

"It's time for you to die."A evil voice cackled.

A gun is pointed at me.

It's Jack.

I must be hullicinating.

But I'm not.

He puts his finger on the trigger and pulls.

The bullet hits me.

Right in the chest.

I'm going to die.

"No."I whispered.

I start to black out again.

Blood pouring from my chest.

I hear voices.

But I know it's to late.

I'm dead.

Nobody can save me now.

Spencer, I'm so sorry.
