🌼Dãï$y, whêrê ãrê ¥øü?🌼

(This story takes place in the early 1900's also it's reallllyyy long )

"Daisy? Where are yoouu?"
My older brother called. But I didn't answer, of course, we were playing hide and seek. "Daaaiisssyyy" He called again, this time his voice was closer. I tried to contain my giggles, covering my mouth with my hands. I could hear him step closer.

"Boo." He whispered chillingly into my ear. I jumped up, startled, but soon I bursted out laughing. He chuckled, "Found you!" I giggled, "Yup!"
"Now c'mon sis, you told me you'd go to bed if I found you." He said, lending a hand to me.

I took his hand while groaning, "But brrootthheeerrr! I wanna stay uupp" "You were the one who promised." He said, elbowing my arm as I stood from my hiding place. "Ouch! Alright! I'll go to bed!" He looked down at me, "You better, or Pa will get you." "Pa's too soft, and you know it."

"Then I'll get you!" He laughed, tickling me. I giggled, "S-Stop! Lukkee!" He pushed me up onto the first landing on the stairs, "Then go to bed!!" "Ookkkaaayy." I said, walking up the stairs, the ending of my play dress swishing around at my knees. He looked at me with a victorious glare, "And next time we play hide and seek, you're it!"

I nodded before sticking my tongue out at him. He stuck his tongue out back as I stepped onto the second floor. I dashed to my room, but made sure not to take my play shoes off.

"Rêãd¥ tø plã¥?"
A familiar voice behind me giggled.
I nodded,
"We can't be loud though, brother thinks I'm asleep."

I watched as my new friend came from the shadows, her face as pale as it always has been and her light brown and blonde hair flowing down almost to her knees. I had always wondered how she was so tall and how her hair was that long. I wish my hair grew a bit longer, and I wish that Ma didn't make me cut it. I twirled a stran of my thin pixie short hair, "Soo what games are we going to play tonight, Susie?" She hummed a bit of a soft tune before answering me, "Høw ãbøüt ã gãmê lïkê ¥øü ãñd Lükê plã¥êd?"

"You mean hide and go seek?" I corrected her. She always seemed to not know much about all the things I do, and sometimes even told me that the simplest things she didn't even know existed. "¥êãh! Büt ñøt êxãtl¥ hïdê ãñd $êêk." "A game similar?" "à gãmê $ïmïlãr."

I made a 'go on' motion with my hands. She went on, øü $êê, we're gøïñgpl㥠ã gãmêãllêd 'Pïck ã Dãï$¥'." "Pick a Daisy? My name's Daisy!" I giggled. "Mhmm! Ñø mãttêr høw mãn¥ plã¥êr$ ¥øü hãvê, ¥øü $t hãvê to hãvê $ømêøñê ñãmêd Dãï$¥ ïñ ¥øür grøüp." She nodded. "Well, how do you play? Any rules?"

She nodded once more, "Lïkê hïdê ãñd $êêk, thê $êêkêr $ tø €øüñt. Whøêvêr'$ ñãmê ï$ Dãïãütømãtïãll¥ hïdê$ fïr$t, thøügh." I grinned madly, I was going to like this game. "Büt üñlïkê hïdê ãñd $êêk, ¥øü døñ't hïdê bêcãü$ê ¥øü wïll türñ ïñtø thê $êêkêr ñêxt..." I tilted my head at this, "Then why do you hide?" "Bêcãü$ê ïf yøü døñ't ãñd gêt føüñd, ¥øü'll hãvê to $t ïñ ã pït øf Dãï$ïê$." She said simply, whispering the last bit.

I was confused, "Well, that doesn't sound so bad." She giggled, "Büt thãt ãlmêãn$ ¥øü løø$ê...." She murmured the rest under her breath before breaking into another fit of giggles. I nodded, "Oh! Well, what if the seeker doesn't find the hider?" Her face then turned a bit cold before she answered sadly, "Thêñ the $êêkêr $ tø øñ ïñ $hãmê, wïthøüt thê frïêñd$ thê¥ ü$êd tø hãvê. Thêy løø$ê, thï$ ï$ €ãllêd 'Thê Dãï$¥ $hrïvêl$ üp wïthøüt wãtêr ãñd $üñ' ïñ thê gãmê."

My eyes widened, "This must be a little bit more of a serious game then." She nodded, "Ït'$ tø mãkê frïêñd$hïp$ $trøñgêr." I nodded, "Alright, but what's the whole 'lie in a pit of daisies part' called in the game? And what happens next?" She laughed, "Well, the lying in the pit of daisies is called 'L¥ïñg wïth øthêr$ tø thê êñd'. This is because the daises your with represent others, and the seeker picks the loosing hider up and they promise to be the bestest of friends forever. After that, they go back to laughing and being friends, not really caring about the others in the world." "Oh wow!" I acknowledged all of this, nodding even faster.

"Well, let's play!" I giggled. "How long are you going to count for?" "Thê $êêkêrøüñt$ thê pêr$øñ ñãmêd Dãï$¥'$ ãgê. Ïf thê¥ ãrê ¥øüñg, thê¥ €øüñt $løwl¥. Ãñd ãl$ø, thê hïdêr$ hïdê øüt$ïdê." I nodded, and started running downstairs, out the door. I heard her counting faintly as I ran to find a hiding place.

"Øñê."
I attempted to climb the tree, and I failed miserably, falling down and scraping my knee.
"Twø."
I ran over to the bush, but I decided not to hide there.
"Thrêê."
I looked everywhere to acknowledge all the possible hiding spots.
"Føür."
I narrowed all the places down.
"Fïvê."
I decided I was going to hide under the porch steps.
"$ïx."
I wacked cobwebs away.
"$êvêñ."
I crawled underneath the stairs, and tried to make myself comfortable.
"Êïght."
I winced because of my scraped knee.

"Tïmêpïck Dãï$ïê$!"
I wondered. Did that mean she was coming to get me? Had she already counted to eight? I breathed heavily, and then covered my mouth.

She walked down the porch steps. Well, she didn't really walk.... She....
She doesn't have legs?!?!
I quietly gasped, but my hand had muffled it. I watched her disappear and reappear, from the bottom of the steps to the tree I tried to climb.

She floated. She floated. She floated.
To the top of the tree, clearly looking for me. Okay.... Now I wasn't sure what to think. Maybe I shouldn't have hid in such a place that's noticeable....

Maybe I shouldn't have been her friend in the first place. I started to rethink my actions and I replayed in my mind the rules and how to play.
You have to have someone named Daisy.
The person named Daisy automatically hides first.
If you are found you have to stay in a pit of daisies.
If the seeker can't find them they have to go on in shame without the friends they used to have.
If you are found you and the seeker have to bound to be friends forever. And not care about any others in the world.

I breathed heavily. I had realized what she'd done. She tricked me. She tricked me! She's dead and she wants me to be-...... Dead and with her.

This 'game'  isn't a game.

I watched her closely. She got nearer.
She's getting nearer.

She found me.

She put me in a pit of daisies.

She picked me back up.

I had to swear to be her friend forever.

And I watched my old body shrivel up and die.....

There once was a girl named Daisy.
She grew up to be a bit ditzy.
Her brother told her to go to her room.
She did so, and met up with her newest friend in her room.
Her friend told her about a game.
A game that has her name.

She said yes,
In her swishy beautiful play dress.
They played throughout the night.
Daisy went to hide.
Her friend floated.
Her stomach felt bloated.

Her friend found her,
Like how the travelers found their lord in a manger.
Daisy said her stomach didn't feel too well.
Her friend said that it was simply
'Because of the spell.'

Right after her friend said that,
Daisy's stomach turned inside out and this way and that.
Daisy then remembered once that, she had been such a brat.
She remembered Ma
She remembered Pa

She fell into the daisies.

There once was a girl named Daisy.
She woke up feeling dizzy.
She woke up from her doom.
Her friend pulled her from her flowery tomb.

They hugged and Daisy couldn't tell,
Her ma, pa, and brother about her friend's spell.
Because now it was too late.
She couldn't go back, and her soul was captured and couldn't move on in her earthy crate.

(Woo! Finally finished! Ima go rest my hands)
