It was noon the next day and Lloyd was ment to be back at 4am so he could get some sleep and be ready to train the kids. He would only be late if there was an emergency, especially this late.

The algorithm that Zane was running had pulled up nothing, this man was elusive, invisible almost,

"The robber of Borg tower was found dead in a back alleyway along with the stolen artifact; the blade of
Essence" sora read from her phone.

The crossroads and ninjago city's (because it was the only city around for miles) news pages had combined into one website called 'the merged ninjago news'. They used it to keep an eye out for any lingering threats or issues in their area.

The ninjas all gathered around the main table in the sam X cave under the monastery, they would have to come up with a plan to go and find Lloyd.

"Zane, can you check where Lloyd was last see with the trackers you put in his suit?" The water ninja asked

"Yea, I would exempt for the fact that his trackers went offline about 13 hours ago, so like at around about eleven o'clock yesterday night," he replied

"So your telling me, that Lloyd could have gone anywhere with in the past 13 hours!" Sora started shouting "and he could have been kidnapped and taken very far away!" She continued

"I knew I should have gone with him," arin mumbled under his breath. He felt incredibly guilty at the fact that if he had gone with Lloyd, he would've been safe.

"Right, we need to go out to the last place we saw Lloyd and have a search around, who's coming with me?" Kai said in a stern yet reassuring voice.

"I AM! I mean, I am" arin half shouted, standing up in a rush.

"I'm in as well," sora said.

"And I assume I'm coming as well," Zane said

"I'll stay here to watch over the monastery and the dragons," Nya said, leaning on the table.

Yesterday, a few hours after Lloyd passed out.

The body was still there as the police hadn't found it yet. Lloyd felt strange and felt heavier, like he had extra limbs.

He was still drowsy and couldn't quite tell what was one hundred percent going on. He felt an ice cold hand wrap around his wrist. He also felt the moving of the course, rough ground below him as he was dragged behind a building.

It was still midnight and as he looked up into the dark, all he could see was two purple, glowing circles, staring at him in the darkness...

Back with Kai and his group.

The ninja had managed to locate the scene of the crime with a mixture of intel of the ninjago police and what ever information they had left from Lloyd's tracker info.

On the entire trip there, Arin was extremely jittery with nervousness.

"Hey you ok, Arin" sora said from next to him.

He jumped at the sudden sound of her voice next to him.

"Y-yea, just worried, really really worried, I can't help thinking this is all my fault"

"Look, Arin, even if you would have gone with him, this most likely still would have happened, and you would be in danger as well as him, it's in no way your fault."

"I know that sora, but I can't help-"

"No buts, we can't change the past, so right now, we can't dwell on it, we need to focus on helping and looking for Lloyd right now, ok?"

"Ok, let's do this!" Arin said positively for the first time all day

Once the bounty had landed on a nearby roof, they started making their way down the buildings and to the taped off alley where Lloyd was attacked.

When the group made it down, a few of the police officers and investigators were suspicious of people being there, but once they realized that it was the ninja, they lightened up and they let the group through the closed of section.

The body of the mystery man was covered with a white plastic sheet with a still stream of dried blood peaking out from under the material.

They walked forward a little past the deceased body and in the shadows of the buildings Kai saw a small shine of a magenta-red liquid.

"Lloyd!" Kai shouted at the sight of his blood on the ground.

"What do you mean 'Lloyd'?" Sora asked

"Oni blood is purple, where as human and dragon blood is red, you mix them you get a sorta magenta red: Lloyd's blood color" Zane replied

"So, so he's in trouble?!" Arin called out in an extremely worried tone

"It's not a whole lot, Lloyd's had worse injuries by the looks of it, he should be ok," Kai reassured the orange ninja,

Suddenly Zane detected movement in the shadows
"Wha-" he was cut off as he was grabbed by his white gi and pulled into the shadows.

"Kai!" Sora called out as she was grabbed as well.

"Quickly! Follow them!" Kai shouted to Arin. The pair dashed after the other two and stopped when they reached a dead end.

Arin, panting heavily: "where, did, they," he paused trying desperately to catch his breath, " go?"

Kai whipped his head when he heard a rustling behind him.

"You ok Kai?" Arin whispered to the ninja of fire

"Shut it" he replied in a short sharp tone. "WHO EVER YOU ARE!" He called out into the shadows "SHOW YOURSELF RIGHT NOW!"

Someone, or something, stepped out of the shadows, it was,

"Lloyd?!?!" Arin shouted. But the green ninja looked different than usual. He had a green and gold dragon tail with gold wings. His usually stubby horns were now long and pointed. Lloyd had larger fangs as well.

He wasn't alone either. Kai spotted two faint purple circles from behind Lloyd's left shoulder. Someone else stepped out as well.

"Hey bitches," he said in a sinister yet playful tone. It was Lloyd. No, Lloyd's oni side...
