It had been a year since Percy had been brought home with the Dursleys. It was Mrs. Dursley's voice that made the first sound of the day.

"Up! Get up and cook the bacon, don't you dare let it burn! I want everything to be perfect on Dudley's birthday."

The boys groaned, Dudley's birthday; how could they have forgotten! They crawled out of the cupboard, Percy set to making breakfast while Harry worked on moving all of Dudley's presents so they didn't have to eat on the floor. Percy went back to the cupboard after breakfast, he grabbed his small bag. He quickly wrote a note for Harry explaining where he went. Percy walked out the door, he looked behind him and walked out. 

-Four years later- (Percy's 11)

Percy was wearing a torn shirt, he had been attacked by monsters again. This time it was snake women, he sat down on one of the swings in the playground he was in. He was thinking about going back to the Dursley's, suddenly a man sat down next to him,

"You know, there's a place you can be safe." 

The man handed Percy a boat ticket.

"It leaves from dock 12 at 10:30 tomorrow."

And the man left, Percy felt a connection to the man but he didn't know where he knew him from.

'Oh well.' Percy thought, 'I have a boat to get too.'
