Dominic didn't want to be the bearer of the news that will devastate his alpha but he couldn't do anything. Jason was walking beside him like a zombie because he knew that his alpha would have to prepare for the worst after hearing the news. He could lose his mate for good. He shivered in fear and tried to clear his mind from the negativity.

Dominic entered the study room where he finds his alpha and alpha Cayden discussing battle strategies with the vampire duo. He knocked on the door to gain their attention. Valerie looked towards Dominic and then towards the man standing behind him. She heaved a sigh of relief.

"Finally, you found him!" She rushed towards them and embraced Jason. "You have no idea how happy I am to see you today." But he didn't return her embrace and didn't smile a bit.

The other three understood by looking at his face but Valerie had no idea, she was busy celebrating the safe return of her beta and her sister's mate.

"Babe," Cayden said. Valerie let go of Jason and looked towards him. "I think Jason has something to tell you."

She looked towards Jason to find a solemn look on his face. She then looked towards Dominic and saw him sulking. She immediately understood what had happened.

"But, how?" She asked looking towards both. "You were in training the soldiers of the neighboring packs. When you didn't answer your phone I thought you might be busy. How could they have attacked you in between so many werewolves?"

"Alpha, they never attacked me," Jason replied. "I went out for lunch with some fellow warriors who were helping me train the other pack's soldiers. I went to the bathroom and was hit by a sweet fragrance. The next thing I know I was laying on the bathroom floor and one of the pack warriors were trying to shook me up. I knew something was wrong. I immediately called Dominic who told me everything on the phone. After hearing from him, I did felt a pinprick pain in my neck. Realization dawned on me that they have taken my blood."

"Oh, moon goddess! That means my sister is not safe anymore, neither is my mother. I have to do something." She looked towards Dmitri panicked. "We need to locate her. We need to change her location. I should call Autumn at once." Valerie was shaking in fear.

For the first time, he saw her losing her self-control and panicking so badly. Cayden felt helpless, he knew the damage has been done. He walked towards her and held her by her shoulders and whispered in her ears. "You need to calm down babe. Think rationally."

Valerie shrugged him off. "How could I think rationally, Cayden? That bastard killed my father and now is after my mother and sister. How can I calm down?"

Cayden understood her fear. He knew she was in no state to make rational decisions. Now she was just a sister and a daughter, nothing else. He asked Dominic to call Autumn and inform Charles and Kevin. He looked towards Valerie who was walking frantically. She was hitting Dmitri and then yelling at Alexei.

Alexei and Cayden looked towards each other and shared common emotions. They knew that they were both helpless. But both had the tears of pain for the person whom they loved more than themselves.

"Babe." Cayden coaxed once again. "Dmitri is trying to contact those vampires. Try to calm down love. We won't let anything happen to your mother or your sister. I promise."

Valerie looked towards him with teary eyes. "I can't lose them too."

"And you won't." He embraced her.

In the meanwhile, Charles and Kevin entered followed by Autumn and Flora. Autumn was carrying some sort of bowl in one hand and some stuff in another which belonged to Genesis and Jennifer. She was huffing and was out of breath.

"I have located them," Autumn said gaining attention. Valerie was looking towards Dmitri, who was talking to the two vampires looked towards Autumn, who suddenly entered the room and looked at everyone frantically. "As soon as Dominic told me everything I did the locator spell. But the problem is their location is not the same. And I am confused about that." She looked towards Dmitri, who was looking paler than his usual self, and asked. "Did you send them to two different locations?"

"No." He answered, "You are getting two different locations because the hunters were able to capture Genesis."

Valerie's body got stiff. Kevin and Charles started asking questions to Dmitri but Valerie was standing in some kind of trance. Cayden whose eyes were glued to his mate reached up to her and slowly but cautiously placed his hands on her shoulder. To his surprise, he didn't get any response. He moved a little bit so that he is in front of her to call her name.

She looked towards him and muttered. "They got her."

"I know," Cayden whispered.

Valerie looked around herself and saw a panicked Kevin and Charles asking questions to Dmitri. Autumn and Flora were blabbering something. Dominic was standing in the corner with Kevin supporting his weight. She then looked towards Cayden who smiled painfully.

He took her hand in his and kissed it. "I am with you. I will be there for you. I will be your strength. Tell me what you want to do. My soldiers will be present for your command. They will fight for you and they will die for you." He looked into her eyes and for the first time, she saw something deep. "Valerie." He paused and said. "Alpha, I will die for you fighting for your cause." His words were giving her hope and strength. She was feeling weak and alone a few moments ago but now his strength and his words were providing her the courage and valor that was needed to save Genesis.

Cayden saw the change in her demeanor and he felt proud of himself that he was able to bring back the alpha that he knew very well. Whose strength and whose willpower could shake any stone. He looked deeply into her eyes and felt immense love for her and suddenly he realized that he can do anything for her. Anything!

He bowed his head in front of he and she gasped. Alexei who was trying to calm everyone down saw Cayden bowed down showing his neck. He nudged Dmitri and soon everyone was looking towards the two alphas standing there in front of them.

"Cayden," Valerie whispered. "What are you doing?"

"I am surrendering myself in front of you. You will lead this war as my alpha and I will fight under you. We will save your sister."

Valerie sobbed and sniveled. "You don't need to bow in front of me. We will fight this as the two alphas, together and we will win it. Randall will repent the day he decided to kidnap my sister. He will regret the day he decided to harm werewolves and he will be penitent for killing my father and grandmother. He will pay."

Cayden felt proud of her and he yelled, "Aye!"

"Aye!" Dominic yelled followed by Jason and the two vampires.

The news traveled fast that Genesis was kidnapped in the Stalwart warrior pack and the neighboring packs. They were ready to give full support to Valerie and Cayden. Valerie and her trackers were in continuous contact with Mark. He told her that he had a glimpse of Genesis and he doesn't know where Randall is keeping her but he promised that he will try and find out about her whereabouts and the condition in which they are keeping her.

There was not much improvement in Scarlett's condition. The officials of Mystic moon and Stalwart warrior pack were strategizing the battle plan and then that will be circulated to the neighboring pack.

The vampires who agreed to help the werewolves started arriving in the pack and they were intimated about the upcoming battle.

It was two days since Genesis was kidnapped and Valerie didn't hear a single word from Randall. Her mother came back the same day Genesis was kidnapped. She was a mess, she was crying and bellowing for her daughter. Valerie wanted to be there for her mother but she had the alpha duties.

Autumn was practicing spells day and night. She was trying to masters the dark magic. Flora was trying hard to the seer for her alpha, but she could see fogginess in her mind. The same was the case with April, Cayden's seer.

"I am afraid," Jason said suddenly.

Valeri, Cayden, and the rest of the high-rank officers were sitting in the dining hall of the Stalwart warrior pack and were discussing their moves to tackle the situation. They were looking at the coordinates of the location where Randall had made his base camp on the map provided by Mark and discussing the plan of action of the attack.

Valerie looked up from the map and asked. "We all are? She is my baby sister."

"He raped your grandmother Val," Jason said with tears in his eyes. Valerie felt goosebumps in her body and a shiver ran down her spine.

"Make contact with Mark, immediately." She said looking towards Dominic. She then looked towards Autumn and asked her. "Is there any sort of protection spell that can protect her.." She hesitated for a bit, then took a deep breath and said. "That can protect her from sexual molestation."

"I can. But my mother is there, she will be able to break it if she found out." Autumn replied.

"Will you come to know about it?" Valerie asked.

"Yes alpha."

"And will you be able to do it again?" Autumn nodded. "Then I need you to do it. We will attack them in a day or two. We are just calculating their moves and the reason why they haven't yet contacted me."

The ringing of Cayden's phone was clearly heard in the silent atmosphere. He immediately answered it to learn that Scarlet has gained her consciousness. He was delighted to hear it and he shared the news with everyone.

Valerie was happy with the development. She smiled and asked Cayden to leave for his pack.

 "Take your officers with you and meet Scarlett. I will inform you if something changes here." He nodded and left with Ryder and Griffin, his head warrior.

"Should we attack them first?" Valerie asked Dmitri once they all left.

"I don't think so. We should know their motive for kidnapping Genesis first." Dmitri replied.

"I have a question," Alexei said. "Why does Flora not able to the seer for you and neither do April?"

Flora shrugged her shoulders. "I have no idea. But my newly found powers are also quite helpful. I am able to control some of the elements like earth and fire. With the help of Autumn, I am trying some spells to use them defensively."

"So having sex with Dmitri did benefit you after all," Alexei said.

"Now is not the time Alexei." Valerie reprimanded him.

After few minutes Dominic returned with the information. He told that the hunters have kept Genesis in a warehouse and they are not providing proper food to her and neither allowing her to sleep properly. They are not even giving her water properly. Mark once tried to help her but he could not. She is under very strict security.

Dominic paused and then said. "Randall asked few vampires to feed on her. They are sucking her life out of her alpha."

Valerie's body started shivering suddenly and she knew her wolf was taking over her senses. It wanted to destroy everything and everyone who harmed her sister. She tried to control it but was not able to.

"Work on that spell." She ordered Autumn and sprinted out because she knew that she will no longer be able to control her wolf.
