The idea of deflating the police inspector's ego was quite tempting.

What's the plan? asked Harvey in a whisper.

I giggled, clinking my handcuffs together.

Just go with what I say, I whispered.

The chief inspector looked on the verge of tears.

Boo! I'm a ghost, said Jamie in an eerie tone.

The chief inspector jumped. He whimpered, pointing at us.

This is what I'm talking about, said Jamie. We should run away!
