Chapter 47
Landing roughly on the ground, she looked to see Holy Knights surrounding the area, her eyes meeting with some of her teammates.
"Commander! What's going on?!" Tut asked, catching her gaze.
Brooks looked at him with a dark gaze, "A bloodbath."

Hendrickson walked out of the dust, and Brooks' eyes narrowed upon seeing his changed form.
His skin had turned into a lilac color, cracks had appeared on his face and arms, and from his waist and below, his figure took a more demonic look. Apart from the changed on his body, horns had grown on his head and wings were placed on his back. Hendrickson was a completely different person.
He looked towards Elizabeth with a stoic look, and Brooks watched as Meliodas lunged at him.
"Watch out, he's going after Elizabeth!" He exclaimed, aiming to stab the man— demon in the chest. Though along with the changes in appearance, his skin has also change, upping his defense to the point where not even Meliodas's dagger could cut through.
After Meliodas was flung away by Hendrickson, Gowther appeared behind the demon and started to cast a spell.
It didn't end well. His head ended up rolling right next to Brooks' feet.
"Grand Master Hendrickson! Please, you have to stop!" One of the holy Knights pleaded.
"You are under arrest for the crime of betraying the kingdom!" Another one shouted.
That's not going to work. Brooks thought.
After a moment of silence, little orbs of dark magic appeared around him. "Dark Snow." He casted. The orbs moved away from him and started to slowly fall onto the people down below.
"Everyone, get under cover!" Brooks shouted, opening one of her bottles and moving the water out of it and above her head.
Knights around her started to darken, like they had been covered in a thick layer of ash, falling to the ground in limp piles.
After checking one who fell, Howzer looked horrified. "They're dead!" He exclaimed.
"Don't let the dark snow touch you!" Gilthunder shouted, a bit louder than Brooks.
Brooks kept her eyes on Hendrickson, watching as he decapitated two knights who were back to back.
He lunged towards the masked knight Brooks had met before, and Hendrickson was frozen in place.
After being hit by the masked one's sword, everyone started attacking.
Manipulating the water that had been above her, Brooks flung it towards Hendrickson, manipulating it so it separated into multiple smaller blades. "Water Blades!" She casted, watching as the made contact with him at the same time another Knight's ice hit him.
The knights kept placing attack after attack on the demon. To no avail. He came out of each one unscathed.
Sierra rushed up past Brooks, and before she could be stopped, she activated her power manipulation.
"This power, I've never felt this much before!" Sierra exclaimed, a grin on her face as the power just kept flowing into her.
"Sierra, stop! It's too much for-!" Brooks started, moving to run up to Sierra to physically stop her. Though she was too late.
In front of her, Sierra started glowing a dark purple a second later she exploded.
"Sierra!" Brooks screeched.
"Sister!" Cabie screeched, tears coming to his eyes.
"No way. He has that much power?" Tut asked, a look of horror spreading across his face.
A shadow covered Brook's eyes. "Vivian. Get the other zodiacs. We're going to need everyone to beat this demon." Her voice was dark, and when she looked up, her eyes had turned to inky pools, glowing golden orbs staring intently at Hendrickson.
Vivian nodded and opened her wings, rising up and flying in the direction the other zodiacs were.
"Soulsss. Ssso many sssouls." Ophion uttered out, looking round with wide eyes.
"You need to wait with that." Brooks said, glancing over where Sierra was last seen. "For now, we need to kill that demon of a man." She pointed her hand towards the said demon. "Flood of the Seven Seas." She casted. Her constellation weapon ability.
The bottles at her belt immediately started gushing with water, pooling and building up around her feet.
Glancing at each other, each of the zodiacs present nodded, knowing what they each had to do.
"Charge of the Bull!" Tut shouted, his battle axe glowing and growing, earth coming up from the ground and strengthening it.
"This is for my sister! Pinchers of the Master Crab!" The boxing glove like pinchers fused with his skin, getting larger and sharper, water dripping from the tips of them.
"Claws of the Prideful Lion!" Leander shouted, his brass knuckles turning into metal boxing gloves, giant, flaming metal spikes positioned just like claws on the ends of the fingertips.
"Scales of Balance!" Liah shouted, scales appearing in her hand as an aura surrounded her and the wind around her starting to speed up.
As Liah casted her spell, Vivian had returned with the rest of the zodiacs, and they realized what was going on once they landed, immediately casting their own constellation weapon spells.
"Flaming horns of the Ram!" Aria casted, her joust glowing and curving as it grew longer and larger, engulfing itself in flames.
"Spear of Heaven's Maiden!" Vivian casted, her staff glowing and gaining an earth made spear head at the top, little pebbles surrounding it as it sharpened into a even more deadly weapon than it was before.
"Trident of the Sea God!" Pandora casted, a the trident in her hand leaking water that pooled around her, much like Brooks' spell, then ends seeming to get shaper as well.
"Arrows of Man and Animal!" Sage casted, arrows appearing around him as if being held by invisible bows, all of the tips of them tipping themselves in pure white flame.
"Swords of the Two to One!" Gabriel casted, their eyes opening and their swords separating and sharpening, wind seeming to encase them individually.
"Spiked Club of Sea and Earth!" Caspar casted, a club appearing in his hand, earth encasing it—making the weapon larger and deadlier than before, spikes of steel and rock extending from the main section of the weapon.
"Ssscyth of the Underworld!" Ophion casted, a scyth appearing in his hands, ether our liquid surrounding the end of it as it grew a second blade, the weapon flaming up at times.
"We twelve of the Zodiacs have casted our spells. Combined, the elements come together." The twelve of them started chanting, "Us of Fire, Water, Earth, Air, and Ether will deem you to be unfit for this world, and bring it upon ourselves to banish you from it!"
The close range attackers— Leander, Aria, Caspar, Cabie, Pandora, and Caspar rushed forewords unharmed by the attacks from the Zodiacs behind them. Water flooding towards Hendrickson from Brooks, blades of wind from Gabriel, A spear cutting through the air with wind whipping around it from Vivian, slices of flaming etherous liquid from Ophius, Flaming arrows from Sage, and slashes of earth and energy from Tut.
All of their attacks hit Hendrickson at once, creating a large cloud of dust around him.
"Did we do it?" Tut asked, his axe returning to it's regular size.
"I can't see anything with that dust." Gabriel stated, fusing their swords together once again as they floated closer to the ground.
"I don't hear anything- oh no. No please." Brooks said, her eyes widening in horror as she realized something. "Can... can any of you guys feel anything from over there?"
"Apart from the overpowering demonic energy... no." Vivian uttered out, covering her mouth.
The dust parted and what was shown was Brook's worst nightmare.
Laying on the ground, the close range team was injured gravely— their unmoving limp bodies scattered around Hendrickson with blood pooling around them. They were dead.
"We gave everything we had... and it still wasn't enough."
