"Lucas..." The familiar deep voice called out from down the hallway. Both heads turn to look at the owner of the voice making it's way towards the both of them.

"Are you bullying her?" Wilson accused while he raise an eyebrow, sharply glaring at Lucas. Lucas rise both his hands to his sides defensively and shook his head, "Dude, no. I was just wondering why she wander so far away from the dining hall. Besides, who is this girl?"

Wilson let out a sigh of relief and place a hand on your left shoulder. He said, "New comer, but... there's a slight technical problem."

"She got no fangs and she have a heart beat, am I right?" Lucas asked for confirmation. Wilson nodded his head before saying, "We will discuss this after dinner, lets go to the dining hall first. Everyone is waiting."

His cold hands grab your warm hands, sending a shock around your body. Wilson gently pulls you down the hallway, leading you to the dining hall. While you're following him, your eyes are completely fixed at his side profile. 'I know this is not the right time but... he's hot...' you subconsciously said.

"What did you say?" Wilson asked while he turn his head to the side and stares down at you. You quickly shook your head and flash him your innocent look, you lied, "I did not say anything..."

"Oh..." he briefly said before turning his head back to look in front of him. The corner of his lips is slightly raised, forming a small smirk. He heard it, but he act like he did not heard it. Why? Secrets are best to be kept among each other and it would be even more interesting if the person had no idea that both of them share the secrets together.

The huge door was swung open and 9 pairs of eyes are staring at the 3 figures standing by the door. Lucas close the door behind him since he's the last to enter the dining hall. Wilson said, "Meet the Van De Gore household members."

You stare at the girls wearing the same outfit as you. Each of them have their names sewn under the household crest. Wilson introduce to you each one of them.

"Starting from the eldest in the family, Lucas Van De Gore." Wilson pointed at Lucas, the guy you bumped with in the hallways just now. Lucas flash a macho smile before saying, "Nice to meet you..." He took a seat next to an empty seat in between a lady and Faith.

"My name is Wilson Van De Gore and I'm the second eldest in the family. Next is Faith Van De Gore, she's the one who help you out with this outfit. Right next to her is Kiara Van De Gore. So the four of us are basically the one who runs the household." Wilson explained. You nodded your head and turn to face the younger ones. Wilson pointed at the girl who called herself as Hailey, "That's Hailey Van De Gore, The eldest among the rest and is also the older sister among the twins. Next to her, is her identical twin, Hazel Van De Gore."

Now that Wilson mention it, you finally realize that Hailey and Hazel have the same facial characteristic. Except the fact that Hailey is blonde while Hazel have a black hair and also, Hailey has a pair of ocean blue eyes while Hazel has a pair of golden hazel eyes. Even so, both still looked extremely beautiful like a real life porcelain dolls.

"It's easy to differentiate the both of them by appearance. Their voice are identically similar. Hailey is the easy going one while Hazel is quite reserved. But both are sticking onto each other like a glue." Wilson teased. Hailey puffed her cheeks with air then pouted, she said, "Come on brother Wilson, this is unfair that you're exposing the both of us so early through the introduction." Wilson smirk then said, "Well that's the truth. Moving on..."

"Next to both of them is, Shaniqua Van De Gore. The friendliest and soft spoken, she's the one who helped with chores most of the time." Your eyes follows where Wilson is pointing, a lady with beautiful pair of green eyes and a nice golden brown skin. Her black hair is so thick and curly which grabbed your attention immediately towards it. You smile at her softly and she smiles back at you, showing the indentation on both her cheeks. Dimples! That caught you shrieking in your thoughts.

Now Wilson's pointers are pointing at a girl with a golden blonde soft curled hair and a cute straight cut fringe at the front. Her skin is so white that her blushing cheeks could be seen clearly. When she tilt her head up, you could see her pair of grey eyes. Tho it seems dull, it still manage to make her appearance a lot unique. "That's Luna Van De Gore, The most shy among all of us. She tend to stay in the bedroom all day and she's closest with Shaniqua."

"And last but not least, the triplets. Anika, Genevieve and Melissa Van De Gore." Wilson pointed with three fingers at the three figures sitting together while fooling around with each other. They did not look the same to be called identical triplets, but sure enough each of them have something in common.

Wilson pointed at the ash blonde haired girl with sapphire eyes, "Anika is the eldest among the three, she's the one who always helps in the kitchen and the kitchen is like an experimenting lab for her, need help with anything food related, she's always in the kitchen."

Next, he pointed at a girl with a strawberry blonde hair that's nicely tied up into a bun and baby blue eyes, "Genevieve is the second and the conservative yet observant one, she tend to be in the library, so if you need any help with things that you don't know. She's always in the library."

"While the youngest, the loudest and the most joyful, carefree and nature blending, Melissa. She is everywhere, just call her name and she'll be there." Wilson said while his fingers pointed towards the last girl. She's a ginger with beautiful sky blue eyes and a very pale skin with small freckles across her face.

"Hello there to all, it is so nice to meet you..." you said gently with a huge smile on your face. Each of them are awfully beautiful that you felt like a total odd ball.

"Hey there! I'm Melissa, what's your name?!" Melissa excitedly asked while she put up her hand to grab your attention. You smile widely at her, in awe of her cute way of excitement. Wilson cleared his throat, "Melissa, we need to eat first or it will pass your bedtime. You can sit at the empty seat next to Melissa." Wilson whispered the last part.

You nodded your head and slowly made your way and sit next to Melissa. She quickly turn to face you and now her beauty is so clear now that it's up close, it's blinding. "I'm so happy that I will have a new friend."

"Now that everyone's here, hold each other's hands and close your eyes." Lucas said. All of them held each other's hands, making a human chain around the table.

You joined in then close your eyes shut. In your head played the question, 'What are they doing? Praying?'

A few moments later, Lucas told all of them to open their eyes and they are now allowed to eat. Melissa said, "We're not praying..."

"Then what are you guys doing just now?"

"It's actually an oath and spell." Melissa replied. You're curious on what she meant by the oath and the spell.

Maybe it's not suitable to ask now, since it's dinner time so you plan to ask Wilson later. So you quickly finish your food so you got time to ask him before bed time.

After dinner, you and the rest went back to your bedrooms.

You sat on the bed next to Melissa's. The sight of them being playful with each other, throwing pillows at each other's faces and giggling like a child through the night made you doubt of their identity as Vampires. They seem more lively than what's written in books; scary, silent, cold-hearted and diabolical themselves.

While you're endorsed in your own thoughts, a knock on the door silence the lively room and grabbed all eyes towards it before it swung open to reveal Faith holding a night gown in her hand. She took slow steps towards you before lending you the night gown, "Here you go..."

You took it from her and saw the name embroidered on the left chest of the gown. "Pandora?" You asked. All of them snapped and turn their heads to look at you with a rather shocked expression.

"Follow me..." Faith briefly said before turning her back against you and walked out of the room. The girls stared at you silently as you stood up and made your way out of the room, following Faith from behind.

A few moment had passed and now you both finally came to a halt in front of a huge door. Faith pulled the torch lamp that's stuck on the wall next to the door and as if there's a special mechanism built within the walls, all of the torch in the huge space lit up and illuminates the dark room.

Your eyes are going wild, searching through the room with extreme decorations, a huge golden lion head on the pillars and knights armors arranged in a line at both side of the room acting as soulless guards. However, when you turn your head to face the front, your eyes grew as wide as a tennis ball.

A gigantic golden door with strange carvings that resemble the ancient Egyptians carvings in caves. Faith's sudden interruption of the silence made you jumped a little from your spot, she said, "The carvings on this door represents the story of the first vampire and how we are divided into two sides now..."

"Why did you take me here?" You asked, curious on the main purpose. Faith turn around and looked at you with a pair of purple eyes, "Behind this door, there's a magic ball. It's called the ball of destiny, it tells you what you're destiny is. However... it's not so simple."

"What do you mean?"

"It does tells you  your destiny, but in a riddle. If you cannot solve the riddle and find your destiny, you will ended up turning into a completely demonic entity that roams the earth in search of innocent lives to feed your hunger and fulfill your pleasure to kill." Faith said with a serious tone that you heard for the first time ever since you both met.  You asked, "How about the girls? Did they found out their destiny?"

She shook her head left to right, "They refuse to know their destiny..."

You fall silent from knowing the girls gave up their destiny in order to save others' life. They are not confident enough to even accept the challenge.

"Are you up for the challenge?" Faith asked. You stare at her, giving the silence to her for a few moments, trying to give time for your head to make the right decision and cooperate with what your heart wants as well.

"Show me my destiny..."

To be continued...
