Cole's pov
<><><><>

Slowly sneaking through the house, listening closely then,

"Boo! I got you!" I said, quickly wrapping my arms around Peter, giving him a kiss on his temple.

He was in the bathroom looking at himself in the mirror, messing around with his hair.

"Why did you do that!?" He complained, startled.

"Because it's fun." I smiled, leaving kisses on his face and neck.

"It's not even Halloween. So why did you say boo?" He asked snickering.

"What? Your allowed to say boo. It doesn't need to be Halloween." I said, swaying us back and forth playfully.

He shook his head, looking at us in the mirror.
Quietly holding each other.
My arms wrapped around his body, while his small hands were on my arms.

Placing soft, loving kisses on his neck.
"We make a cute couple." I mumbled, my lips against his skin.

"Mmm, yeah. We do." He smiled, lightly laughing as my lips tickled his skin.

"Mm, I love you." I mumbled, continuing to kiss along his neck.

"Hey- mm, hmm." " He moaned with his eyes closed, grabbing at my hair.

"M- hey. Don't pull so hard." I said firmly.

"I- umph. I can't help it, with you- ugh." He mumbled, grabbing tighter on to my hair.

Pulling away, just off his skin. "Mmm, your so easy, baby."

"Shut up." He elbowed me roughly.

"Mm, I love you too." I said in a deep voice, whispering in his ear. Every time I did that it made him twitch. Even though he got annoyed by it, I found it way to fun to stop.

"Ugh, Cole. You- mm." He huffed.

Trancing my fingers on his jaw, tilting his chin towards me. I planted a soft kiss on his lips.
Even though my lips were always rough, chapped, he still loved kissing me.

Looking into his eyes, our noses touching. "I lov-"

"Hey, boys! Dinner will be soon!" My mom called up from the bottom of the stairs.

Both of us sighed, shaking our heads. "Well, that ruined the mood." I said, taking my hands off of him.

"It's okay. If we kept going any longer it could have turned into something else." He said, winking at me then walking out of the bathroom.

My eyes widened and my jaw dropped, after he said that.

~

"Woah that smells good. Can we eat now?" I asked, seeing multiple pots and pans of food siting on the stovetop.

"Not yet. It only needs a few more minutes and your dad should be here soon." My mom explained.

"Alright..." I sighed.

"You and Peter can set up the table and get the drinks." She said, tending to the foods.

We grabbed glasses, plates, silverware and napkins, putting them all on the table. While my mom finished the cooking in the kitchen.

It was going to be a family dinner, "thing."

My mom had gotten the idea and there's no way to stop her when she gets an idea. So we might as well just go with it and enjoy it. Normally I would help her but she wanted to do it herself.

"You okay?" Peter asked quietly.

"Wha?" I asked confused, setting down the last few things.

"You have that face."

"You mean the one I'm born with? Yeah, I know I'm handsome, don't faint." I said sarcastically.

He elbowed me.

"Ow, why do you keep doing that!" I complained.

"You look like your thinking about something. What is it?" He asked, leaning back against the table with his arms crossed.

Pausing for a moment. "I was thinking about how it feels weird to be around my dad again. I mean it's not bad or anything, it just feels- odd. Especially with him being back in this house and around my mom! I mean they talk and laugh together, it's weird!" I explained.

"Hmm." Peter looked away.

"Don't go acting like Garvey and Edwin, if your thinking about something, tell me. I hate when your silent." I said.

He looked back at me. "I thought you liked the quiet. The peace and solitude. Being invisible." He said, moving in front of me, saying it in a taunting way, swaying side to side with his hands behind him.

Looking down at him, it made me feel something. He was in a flirty mood today. His big puppy dog eyes, adorable curls and the fact he was smaller than me. It made him so cute.

"Mmm, I don't know what's gotten into you today, but I like it." I grinned, leaning in for a kiss.

"Well you can tonight..." He said in low, flirtatious voice.

"I-I huh? Wh-wha- what'd y'a say?" I stuttered, pulling back, staring at him with wide eyes.

"You heard me." He said, glancing down at my lips then my eyes.
Gulping in shock.

~front door opening~

"Hey, everyone!" William called out.

"Oh, f- uh. We should uh, hm." I muttered, glancing back and forth towards the door and Peter.
They didn't see us talking- flirting together but that was close.

Peter winked at me then walking to the kitchen.
I stood there for a moment, trying to pull myself together. What just happened? Is that even Peter!? Cause- jeez. That was new.

"Alright, everybody dinner is ready!" Cindy announced.

"Ooo, that smells good." William said.

"Now everyone grab something and carry it to the table. I cooked, so you guys can use your muscles to carry everything." She smiled, sitting down at the table.

Each of us grabbed a plate or container of food, sitting them down on the table then taking our own seats.

"Isn't this nice." Cindy smiled.

"So what are we eating?" William asked.

"I dunno but I'm hungry." I said, reaching for a dinner roll.
But my mom smacked my hand.
"Hey!"

"Not yet. Wait one more minute." She said.

Sighing, I sat there quietly, except for my stomach growling.

She told us what she made, fish, blah blah, sauce, blah blah, rolls, asparagus, yada yada... ugh I'm to hungry to listen to this.

"Alright. Now you can eat. Dig in." She said, turning to me.

Quickly grabbing a roll and taking a bite of it, while they all stared at me judgingly.

"Wha? I said I was hungry."
They shook they're heads with a laugh then we all grabbed what we wanted.

"Is it good?" Cindy asked.

"Mm, hmm." I mumbled with my mouth full.

"Cole. Slow down." She said.

"Yeah. What happened to enjoy the food. And this was made with looove." Peter said.

"Sorry. I haven't eaten much today." I explained, taking a moment to chew my food and gulp down some water. Then taking it slow to appreciate the food.
My mom and dad made small talk while Peter ate quietly.

Glancing over at him, he looked up at me. Smirking then taking a bite of food. Sticking his tongue out to catch the dripping sauce, closing his eyes as he put it in his mouth. His eyes flicked up at me, giving me a wink. Smiling as he chewed his food, taking a sip of water.

I quickly looked back at my parents who were to busy taking to see what had just happened.

Grabbing my glass of water, I took a quick gulp. My leg was bouncing up and down, thinking about what just happened.
Until I felt his hand on my knee, immediately stopping my leg.

Side eyeing him, he had a small smile on his face. Looking down at his plate.

Seriously, why is he acting like this. And in front of people!? Let alone my parents. Damn, Peter. Chill.

I mean... I kinda like it. But not now! Why can't he just, wait until later.

Continuing to eat, I tried to forget what just happened. But that image of him is still in my mind. And, his hand. It's still on my leg.

"So, Cole." My dad said.

Quickly turning to him, nervously sweating.
"Uh, um, yeah?"

"You weren't listening were you?" He said jokingly, shaking his head.
"I was going to ask you, what's your plans for school?"

"What? School!? Why would I want to think about that?" I said.

"Um, honey. The end of school comes quick. I know it's summer break and it's fun, but you'll have to go back and then eventually you'll have to go to college." My mom explained.

C-college?

"It felt like yesterday, when you were sent off to Alaska." She said, laughing it off.

"So, do you have any plans Cole? Or you, Peter?" My dad asked, looking down the table at both of us.

"Uh, well- umm." I got nervous, unsure of what to say.

"Oh, yeah. Finally getting out of high school!" Peter smiled. "I think I want to do something big in college. I'm trying to decide between two majors." He explained.

"Good for you." My dad said.

"Thank you, sir." Peter smiled back, his hand griping onto my leg.
My jaw clenched down.
Grabbing my glass, so the water would hopefully cool me off.

My parents started talking about something again, while I was a bit- distracted.

Peter's hand moved further up my leg, gripping onto it. Making me weak, not to mention nervous...

"Daddy, can you pass me a roll." Peter said suddenly

...

Gulping, h-h-he didn't just say that. D-did he?

My parents both stoped talking and eating, freezing in place.
I stared intently at my plate, to scared to look up or move.

"Oh, sorry..." Peter apologized. "Can I please have another roll? Daddy."

My eyes widen further, putting my hand up on my face to block my view from my parents. Lowering my head as I panicked.

Peter's hand patted on my leg reassuringly, making me glance over at him.
Angry and confused I glared at him, my jaw clenched.
He just smiled, shrugging it off.

Finally removing his hand, reaching for a roll.

"Ahem." My mom cleared her throat, putting her napkin to her face.

While my dad gulped down some water, not making eye contact.

"So... I guess that means you guys have gotten closer..." My mom said slowly.

I abruptly got up and ran away, I couldn't handle being in the same room any longer.

Peter's pov
^*^*^*^

Cole got up and ran away. I kinda felt bad for him, buuuut, it was kinda fun to mess with him.

I couldn't keep a straight face any longer, starting to laugh.

"Peter, I- I can't believe you did that." Cindy laughed.

Coughing between laughs, leaning back in my chair.
"I'm sorry- I-ugh, I just had to. I couldn't resist." I wiped tears out of my eyes, from crying so hard.

"He's probably going to die of embarrassment." Cindy said, looking in the way he ran off in.

"I hope not. He survived a bear attack but not can't handle embrassement? That would be embarrassing!" I laughed, slamming my hand down onto the table.

William looked very uncomfortable, sitting there awkwardly, gulping down water.

"Are you okay?" Cindy asked him, still laughing.

"Uh-" He glanced up at her.

Cindy looked back at me. "I think he might die of embarrassment too." Starting to laugh.

"With all the laughing we're doing...we might die from ox-ygen dep- deprivation." I mumbled, trying to catch my breath.

Once I calmed down I got up to find Cole, he was so nervous earlier but he's probably mad by now.
Eh, I can make it up to him.

"Cole?" I knocked on the wall, he was sitting against the wall, in another room.
Sitting down next to him.

"I'm sorry, I just wanted to have some fun." I nudged him.

He shook his head, sighing. "You- you are such a tease." He laughed.

"Mm, yep. I am. I'm a major turn on, aren't I?" I asked playfully, leaning in towards him.

"Ah... maybe." He said.

"Uh! How rude!" I said jokingly. "You know you love me." I said, patting my hand on his knee. He was sitting against the wall with his knees up, resting his arms around them.

"Don't do that. It's so annoying." He nudged me away.

"Awww, but you love it so much." I said jokingly, moving my hand down his leg.

"Hey! Stop it!" He laughed, trying to grab my hand.
"Your so annoying."

"Mmm, hmm. I love you too, idiot." I smiled, kissing him.
We stared into each others eyes, sitting there together. Leaning forward to give each other gentle kisses.

"Do you want to get some dessert?" I asked.

"Why? You trying to apologize?" He asked.
"I almost died of embarrassment!"

"Yeah, I was kinda worried you would." I said jokingly, laughing at him.

"But I will make it up to you. One way or another." I winked then stood up, walking away.

He leaned his head back onto the wall, shaking his head with a smile.

Cole's pov
<><><><>

After all that, dinner was over, my dad went home and my mom cleaned and put the dishes up.
Me and Peter finished up the last bits of our food then went upstairs.

"Ugh, never do that to me again." I sighed, flopping down onto my bed, face first.

"I'm sorry, but it was fuuun." He smiled, walking over to me.

"Ughhhh. No. Never again." I mumbled with my face smushed into the bed.

"Whyyy, it was fun." He laughed, laying down next to me.
"But I won't do it again... for awhile... like- five, minutes?" He said sarcastically.

Looking over at him, "Mm, at least your cute."

"Oh, really?" He smiled, reaching his hand up to play with my hair.

"Mmm, yeah. Your adorable." I softly. His fingers twirling around my hair, making me sleepy.
Closing my eyes, yawning.

"I love you." I said.

"I love you too." He said, kissing my forehead.

"Mmm." I mumbled, wrapping my arm around him, pulling him closer.
Looking down at him. "There's my good boy."

His eyes widened. "Wh-wh-what d-did you just say?"

"You heard me." My voice deepened.
Leaning down to his ear, whispering,
"Have you been a good boy? Hmm?"
Kissing lightly on his neck, nibbling on his ear.

His arms wrapped around my shoulders, one hand grabbing onto my hair.
"Your a tease too."

"Oh, I am? How so?" I whispered, one hand grabbing his hair while my lips worked on kissing all over his neck.

"Ugh, you- augh." He smiled, gently laughing. His legs moved up around my body, wrapping around.
"Mm, Cole." He laughed as my lips tickled his skin.

Kissing faster and more playfully, I moved down his neck to his shoulder and chest.
"Ha, Cole, s-stop." He laughed, pulling me back up.

"What? You don't want my love!?" I said playfully, containing to kiss all over him.

"Alright, alright!" He laughed, squirming around.
"Okay, Cole! Ha, oka- ah!"

Then a sudden knock on the wall, the door still opened.
"Uh, boys. I'm going to bed, so uh, goodnight. Get some sleep." My mom said.

"Ah!" We both yelled out, jumping away from each other. Falling off the bed then laughing.

My mom shook her head with a laugh.
"Are you two okay?"

"Yeah." I said, getting up off the floor.

"Um... are you two- well..." She said slowly, thinking.

"Huh?" I mumbled curious to what she was about to say.

She looked up at us, glancing back and forth.
"Well, you know...have you two done it yet?"

"What!? M-mom!" I screamed out in shock and embarrassment. Peter's jaw dropped, curling up into a ball and hiding his face.

"I'm just curious. I mean- with everything going on and how you two act... I thought that maybe... you know." She said.

"Ick." My body shook, this is gross why did she bring this up.
"Never... say that. N-no. Please stop."

"Well, honey, I just want to make sure you two are being safe. You are using protection?" She asked.

"Ah! No! Mom! D-don't say that! Yuck." I said grossed out.

"I just want to know if you two are doing good!" She said concerned. "But you probably could use a doctor visit." She thought.

"What! N-no." I said quietly. Ugh... not the doctor.
"Can you please- not. Just- go to sleep. Goodnight." I motioned my hand.

"Okay. Fine." She said, drawing it out. "Goodnight, honey." She walked over to me, giving me a kiss on my forehead.
"And goodnight to you too Peter." She said then walked out, closing the door.

"Well- that happened." I said, glancing over to Peter. He was curled up, sitting against the bed, hiding his face.

"Are you okay?" I asked worriedly, sitting next to him, putting my hand on his back.

He looked up at me with a frown.

"Is that a no?" I said sarcastically.

"Ughhh. I think I almost died from embarrassment this time." He mumbled, hiding his face again.

Wrapping my arm around him.
"It's okay, you got me to be embarrassed and awkward with." I smiled, nudging him.

"Yeah. I got you." He looked up at me with a soft smile. We leaned closer, giving each other a kiss.

Glancing at the bed. "Well, while we're here... do you wanna, y'a know?" I winked.

"Cole!" He yelled, pushing me away.

Laughing, "What? Why not?"
"Hmm? Don't you love me?" I pouted.

He shook his head. "Just go to bed idiot." He smiled.

"Alright. Let's go to sleep, both of us." I said, struggling to pick him up.
Putting him onto the bed, laying down.

"So are you sure you don't want to-"

"Cole! Shh." He said, playfully hitting me.

"Mm, I think I can change your mind. Besides, you promised me. You said "I'll make it up to you, don't worry." Mm." I said jokingly.

"Ugh, go to sleep." He said annoyed rolling over away from me.

Sighing. "So sad." I pouted.
Sitting up, I pulled off my shirt then cuddled up next to him.
"Goodnight, baby." I said sweetly, kissing his forehead.

...

"Your my good little boy." I said in a deeper voice.

"Cole!"
