Cindy
*~*~*~*

Cole barged into my room, saying he wanted to go swimming. So we all got into the car and went to the store. One of them really needs a license soon.

While they went to go find some swim trunks, I was busy checking out the new, cute bathing suits.
Finding a bright pink one I really liked but also found a beautiful light blue one.
Eh, I can get both. Why not.

While going through the clothing racks, something caught my eye, a white lace cover up that look really light and flowy. Ooo, I can imagine this with a big sun hat. Now I need a hat!

After we got our bathing suits, I decided to get some summer foods.

"Why don't we go get some food, I'll make some platters. Nothing better than watermelon on a hot day!" I said happily.

While Cole and Peter were in the pool, me and William talked to each other. But I kept grabbing snacks and sipping on my drink, trying to distract myself. He looked so good.

I tried to keep up conversation, but then I would get so distracted looking at him. He was leaning back in his chair wearing dark blue swim shorts with a loose button up shirt, that had a tropical type pattern. It was unbuttoned, showing off his chest and of course he had nice abs. They were driving me insane.

He had some sunglasses that where laying on the table. But when I saw him with them on, I couldn't believe how good he looks. They fit him so well, dark like his hair.
Ughhh, he always had such dark hair. I wonder if he dyes it now? Mm, who knows. Glancing over to the pool, I guess the water will tell.

"Cindy?" He said, snapping me out of those thoughts.

"Hmm? Yeah?" I asked confused.

"Eh, never mind." He said, shaking his head and looking away.

Taking another sip of my drink then looking at the boys. "Uh, why don't you get in the pool with the boys?" I said.

"I guess I could. Why not use the pool. What about you?" He said.

"Oh, no. I'll just sunbath for awhile." I said.

"Why? There's a great pool right there." He said motioning towards the shimmering pool.

"It's just what girls do." I said.

"Alright. But if your going to wear a new bathing suit, it should at least touch water once." He said with a chuckle then got up.

"Maybe later." I said, taking another sip to hide my smile and blushing face.

"Oh, your getting in now. What took so long?" Cole asked grinning, while Peter splashed at him.

"Well it's a nice pool and it's hot out." William said.
"And I like the water, unlike some people." He said, glancing over at me.

We got this inflatable basketball and net for the pool, so we threw the ball around, but we're basically playing monkey in the middle now.
I could tell Peter was getting upset by it.

"Why don't we play something else?" I said.

"Alright, like what?" William asked.

"Uh, how about the dive sticks. Peter can throw them into the pool and we can see who gets them the fastest." I explained.

"Your on!" William said confidently.

"Alright, we'll see." I said. Peter grabbing the sticks and threw them into the pool.
Me and my dad started on one side of the pool then swam over to the other side, quickly diving to get as many as we could.

🌊

"Oooh! I win! Woooo!" I yelled excitedly, my lungs burning from holding my breath.

"I wouldn't be so sure about that. Let's count them up." William said.

"Alright, fine. I've got... seven." I said.

"I've got nine." He said proudly.

My smile faded. "Next round!" I yelled out, handing Peter the sticks.

"I think you cheated! Your bigger so you take up more room." I said.

"Nope, your just slow with one arm." He said jokingly.

"I can still swim better with on arm than you can." I said.

"Oh, really? Let's see then." He said.

"Guys!" Peter said suddenly, catching our attention. "Can you focus?" He said, throwing the sticks back into the pool.

"I'm gonna win this time." I said quietly.

"I wouldn't be so sure about that." He whispered back.
We glared at each other, both wanting to win at any competition.

"Hey! Guys!?" Peter called out.

"Yeah? Just go ahead and throw them so we can go get them!" I said.

"If that's what you want..." He mumbled. Throwing the last stick out towards us, a little, to close.

A loud, painful thud.

"Ow!" I yelled out, putting my hand on my head. "Peter!"

He looked surprised, covering his mouth with his hand. "Sorry! Didn't mean to do that!" He said.

Rubbing my head, it felt like a bump was already there.
"Dude, what are these made of?"

"Are you okay?" My dad asked concerned.

I glared at him.
"Really?... I said ow for a reason. I think I already have a bump on my head. Seriously, how did you do that, Peter!?" I said confused.

"I dunno. I didn't mean too. I wanted to throw it towards you, but I didn't want it to fall short or go out of the pool." He explained.

"Thanks. So much." I said annoyed.

"I'm sorry!" Peter said again. He got of the edge of the pool and came over to me.
"I really didn't mean to. I'm sorry." He said.

"It's okay. At least you apologized. But I don't think that was an accident. I think you were just upset about earlier, being the monkey in the middle." I said jokingly.

"Maybe." He said then kissed me. "I didn't mean to hurt you. Again, I'm sorry." He said, kissing my forehead.

"Alright, let's get back into this game." I said.

"Are you sure you don't need to sit down or something?" Peter asked.

"I'm fine. Well, I mean it hurts, yeah, but- I wanna win." I said.

"Alright, but don't hurt yourself more, Cole." My dad said.

"I'll try not to." I said. We continued with our game, seeing who could get the most sticks in one breath.

🌊

"Ughhhh. I'm so tired." I said exhausted, laying on the concrete by the pool.
It was fun being outside, playing games, swimming, joking, what not. But it takes so much energy, especially in the hot sun.

"Your looking a little red, honey." My mom said.

"Cole! I said to put on more sunscreen." Peter yelled, standing above me.

"Eh, it's fine. But seriously... can someone drag me inside? I'm to tired to walk." I said, my eyes closed to block out the bright, painful sun.

"Come on, you shouldn't be laying in the sun, especially if your already red." My dad said, then a sudden hit of cold water against my body.

"Ahh! Jeez! Wh-wh-ah- why did you do that!? That was freezing!" I yelled out, suddenly jumping away from the cold water.

"Come on, get up." He said, giving me his hand then pulling me up.
"Let's get you inside." He said, patting my back.

"Ow! That hurts." I said, looking over at my skin that now was a red tint.

"I told you, Cole!" Peter yelled at me, lecturing me.

"Ughhhh!" I said annoyed, while Peter complained in my ear. Opening the sliding door and going inside. The sudden rush of cold air hitting my body.

Peter had told me earlier to put on sunscreen, over and over. I did at least once or twice, but he kept pestering me. It was really annoying but he had a good point. At least I wasn't burnt to bad.
Meanwhile Peter had a thick, white layer of sunscreen on him at all times. Wouldn't want my ginger boy to burn.

I climbed onto the couch and wrapped a blanket around myself, trying to get comfortable and warm, but it hurt my sensitive skin.

"Ugh, Cole, come here. Let's go out the sunburn cream on you. Otherwise it's going to hurt a lot and I don't need you getting skin cancer you idiot!" He yelled, grabbing my arm.

"Ah! Alright, alright. Don't touch my skin though." I yelled, getting up and following him to the bathroom. The sunburn ointment immediately helped, taking away the sting and cool down my skin.

"Can you help me out everything back?" I asked William.

"Yeah." He replied.

We put up the pool toys, threw away the trash, and carried the food trays into the kitchen.

"It was nice for you to come over and spend time with Cole." I said.

"I really enjoyed it. We should do this more often." He said.

"Maybe you two can have a day together and I can go have a spa day to myself." I said.

"What? I cant have a spa day too?" He said jokingly.

"I mean, you could. But most guys don't like the idea of it, I'm not sure why." I said.

"I could use a good massage right now, and I wouldn't turn down a spa day right now." He said.

Putting the platters in the sink and washing them off. While he washed all the glasses.
We were standing right next to each other, our arms touching.
I guess he isn't shy about being near me. But- ugh. We shouldn't be together, it's silly to even think of it. Besides he's probably to busy with work or maybe even has a girl...

Do you think he's with someone else? He wouldn't be... right?
Wait, why do I even care!? It's none of my business! I don't care!

But I couldn't help to love the feeling of his arm brushing against mine.
