Hello~Minna~San! My "new" book is here! It's almost like an AU--because the whole Phantom Lord arc never happened even though Juvia and Gajeel are still part of Fairy Tail.

You'll notice the format of this book will be nearer and more complex like the show!

It was a normal day for everyone in Magnolia; birds chirping, townsfolk chatting and Fairy Tail's strongest team; team Natsu destroying everything in their path. But that was normal.

The job the reckless team was requested to go on was in the forest of  Luminous city east of Magnolia.

The troublesome bunch just gathered the last of the bandits that were rumoured to roam there, and harm townsfolk passing by.

Erza sets the last one with the others and brushed her hands together, a motion that shows all the hard work to get one guy. "That's the last one."

Natsu on the other hand had no trouble getting five in a row--but of course that's Natsu for ya.

"Can we go back to the hotel and clean up? This was hard work.." Lucy whines waving her chipped nails and muddy hands.

"I don't see what you are all complaining about, this was a piece of cake!" Natsu exclaims.

Erza perks up at the mentioning of cake. "Natsu..do you have a..cake...?" Erza questions stepping closer to salmon haired pyro.

Natsu steps back a little. "Way to go flame brain you made Erza go cake-mode."

Natsu inches closer to the ice-make wizard who is currently leaning on a oak tree.

"Oh yeah? Well it's not my fault it was easy! What it to hard for the stripper!?"

And the brotherly fight went on and unfortunately Erza couldn't control it since she was zoned out.

"GUYS!!!" Lucy screams. All three of them glance at the worn out celestial mage.

"Let's just get these bandits back to the sender of the request and call it a night." She continues a bit more calm that everyone stopped.

This gives Erza an idea. "You know this isn't my first time in the forest, but it would be my first time camping!!" She starts fangirling and rambling on about some camping ideas.

Lucy sighs. "I guess on the way back we can pick up a few supplies." Then Natsu pitches an idea. "I could do the fire!"

"Aye, sir!"

"Let's just focus on the unconscious bad guys first." Gray finishes gesturing to the tied up bandits.

Luminous was a beautiful city during the nightfall and luckily for them it was exactly that time.

The bright street lights lit up perfectly and the clear water fountains were shimmering. It really was a spectacular place to live.

The four stop at once of the local houses. Obviously it belonged to a wealthy man and wife--standing out from the others.

It was the house that belonged to the young man who sent out the plead for help.

Lucy cautiously steps forward and knocks on the bright mahogany door.

The door swings open and reveals a tall man, burgundy hair and a memorable beard. Natsu holds up the round of crooks before he could greet anybody.

"Ah, please come in thank you for finishing the job!"

Erza enters the mans abode. "It was no problem, really."

The interior of the house was just as gorgeous as the outside. Picture frames hung around, mostly including family portraits and it was pretty clear this man had a good and expensive sense of style.

"Yeah, sure that's exactly what Lucy and you said 15 minuets ago." Natsu childishly chuckles as he joins the rest on the wine-colored couch.

"Shut it Natsu, the point is we completed the mission." Erza glares and the now shivering Natsu.

"Yes, and I thank you for that here's the promised 82,000 jewel." The client interrupts handing the scarlet haired reequip mage the reward. "Do you need any help sending the bandits to the local jail?" She adds motioning towards them--sitting still tied near the entrance of the house.

"Nope no help required." He answers sternly. The rest thought his answer was a tiny bot odd considering they helped all their other clients with that exact same task.

Lucy speaks up to break the awkward silence. "We'll be on our way!" The man just stares at the blonde mage. "Whats your name?"

Lucy is considering telling a stranger her full name so she starts with her first name--not even her Nakamas should know her last.

"Lucy!" She answers and she adds an awkward smile hoping, just hoping he doesn't ask anything else of her.

"Lucy..what..?" And all her teamates give her a look reading they would also like to know the answer. She knew all theirs; Erza Scarlet, Natsu Dragneel, Gray Fullbuster and Happy Dragneel..I guess.

"LUCY, LUCY!" She blurts out and quickly scurries out the door. The odd man and the rest thought her actions were weird but her friends didn't question but instead ran after their A-wall friend.

Lucy dashed away, but she did have a certain destination; Luminous's  outdoors shop. She figured it made sense to hide out here for awhile, she was just caught up in the heat of the moment.

After all we do have a camping trip later...

While Lucy is waiting she wanders around the spacious store. The stellar mage started looking for some good quality tents.

The shop door swings open and the customer bell rings throughout the building. Lucy swivels her head 'round and her pupils shrink.

Already Erza, Natsu, Gray and Happy had found her, impressive too. "Lushee why'd you leave when he asked for your last name?" Happy flies towards the dumbfounded Lucy.

"I remembered we had a camping trip planned and I was so...excited I ran here!" Lucy says waving her hands in front of her in innocence.

"Hey, Luce what is your last name anyway?" Natsu asks staring at her dead in the eye. "Oh, hey would you look at that a good tent! Only 39 jewel?" Lucy avoids the question by turning her back and continuing her search for a tent.

"We did say we would camp tonight~" Erza says completely ignoring Lucy's acts.

But Natsu isn't fooled unlike Gray and Happy. "Aye! Plus it's getting late we better hurry!"

Gray gets into running stance. "Me and Happy will fetch other camping supplies!!" And their off leaving Erza and Lucy looking at tents in awe and Natsu just standing their inpatient.

"Cmon Luce stop avoiding the question.." Natsu complains his arms crossed and his eyes closed signifying he's waiting for a proper answer from the stellar mage.

He opens one eye and and sees a no Lucy or Erza.

Just there a second ago...

Natsu's ears perk up. His Dragon hearing picks up Lucy's voice. "We'll take these two tents for 74 jewel please."

His head shoots in the direction the check out is. Impressive considering it was almost out of sight from the tent aisle.

Both Gray and Happy checkout some items after that too.

Can't believe no one notices Lucy's...oddness.

Crap. Is Natsu on to me? The celestial mage worriedly thinks while the group including herself walk back to the nicely forested area.

While she's caught up in all her stressing she unknowingly bumps into Natsu who stands in front of her.

The bag she was carrying; containing marshmallows, gram crackers and chocolate flys mid air.

Lucy as well feels the gravity take affect on her and is about to land flat on the cold dirt road/trail.

Instead she feels warm arms hugged around her waist. The others notice but turn their backs and keep walking to they don't ruin this "NaLu" moment that Mirajane keeps screaming about.

Lucy looks up to see the pyro holding her up and stopping her from falling. As a quick response she stands up straight and regains balance in half a second.

Unfortunately no one was there to catch the smores  bag from dropping so it currently lays on the ground, luckily unharmed.

"Arigato and Gomen' Natsu!" Lucy quickly brushed imaginary dirt away from her too short mini skirt. Lucy picks up the dropped plastic bag and catches up with the others, Natsu blushing to hard he's unable to speak and Lucy's face the spitting image of Erza's hair.

"Alright for this to be my dream camping night listen up!" Erza yells her hand cupped, positioned at her mouth for better volume. She steps on a log and continues her speech.

"Natsu and Happy set up the smores  making area to your left and Lucy, Gray and I will set up the boys and girls tent!"

No objections, just the way Erza liked it...and so did everyone else meaning no one getting harmed, 'cause as its rumoured she can break a mountain.

In fact Gray and Lucy already stared on the first tent, and Erza quickly followed with the second.

Natsu had the perfect job, he got to set something on fire. Happy helped gather some round rocks in a circle, father wood in the middle and Natsu just used his magic.

Natsu got the faster and easier job so he attempted to help Erza setting up the boys tent.

"I wanna help Nya!~" Happy whines flying mid air.

"Happy, your too small just be helpful and jump cut to when we're done setting up." Gray says hammering down the second of four poles on the girls tent.

"Aye.."

《Happy jump cut!! ( ^ω^ )》

It was a silent evening, around 9:30 already. The only thing that could be heard was the crackling of the fire while the team made some delicious smores.

"How 'bout we all tell each other's dark pasts for fun!" Erza squeals like a little girl. She seemed to be really into her first camping trip.

She continues. "Me first!"

"I was tortured and was a slave in the heavens tower, and my friend Jellal tried to kill me!" Erza says as if NOTHING was wrong with that sentence.

"Natsu, your turn."

Natsu gets is hard face on, everyone knowing what's coming next....his childish side.

"I was raised by a fire dragon Igneel, one day he disappeared and so did all the others dragons on the same date, now I seek vengeance striving to find my father." Natsu says in the most silliest tone; dark, deep and mostly fake.

"Happy's next." Natsu says in his regular Natsu-like tone.

"Fish...?"

"Lushee your turn, I haven't heard yours!"

Lucy freezes. "Uh Luce your marshmallows on fire."

She stays still pupils contracted. "Luce-"

"Right! Um-" she blows out the fire on her now over burnt marshmallow.

"I had a plain, boring n-normal life."

They stare blankly at her.

Natsu was about to say something but he just held it back and yawned.

"Well I'm off to bed it's getting late." He stretches some more."

"For once I agree with the barbecue." Gray gets up and cleans up.

"What's that ice princess.?"

Before the name insulting can proceed Erza shouts something, her hand on her forehead indicating she's stressed.

"Enough, hit the hay before I get a major headache."

"Yes ma'am." They both sigh and slouch as they make their way to their reserved tent.

"Lucy you coming?" Erza says looking back at the unmoving Lucy.

"I'll join you inna sec just need a breather."

Erza understands and heads in the tent.

A shooting star passes by at that moment.

Better make a wish...
