Wrath of the Soured
Armored dies. I sense her soul go inactive, but she gets back up. What? I have so many questions. It's not like she's a hollow... Is she?
Whatever or whoever is possessing speaks, "you," it growls, "you are a monster. Let's get to the point. I am Watt Soured, a representation of lemon writers, or, tasteful ones. And I am going to kill you. For you are clearly the antagonist of this series. You kill and kill and kill without remorse. You kill real people who exsist on the other side. I don't care about the ship, not right now. This is bigger than the ship (no matter how hard I ship it). It's time to end this book."
The ground shakes, thorned vines rise from the black soil. The vines lunge at me. I counter with fire magic.
"Why are you doing this?" Sour asks.
I'm to focused on douging to answer, and at this point, this attack is to large for Breaker to change. I slice the vines, slowly working my way towards Sour.
"Are you unhappy?" Sour asks.
Yes, extremely. As long as there is a story, I can never be happy. A vine stabs my leg from behind. I burn the vine and cauterize the wound with fire magic. I hold back the screams as not to leave me open to further attacks.
"Will you ever be happy," Sour asks, "without her?"
"Shut up," I mumble.
Vines surround me. I ignite myself, the fire not harming me due to my training and use of fire magic. I slice through the vines.
"Between chapters," Sour continues, "Armored taught me that the Peace Seekers philosophy is 'Peace at any cost.' If that cost is your life, so be it. However, I cannot continue in this body. This ends now."
The plants that I had burned spring back to life and lunge for me. I dodge narrowly avoiding each strike. They whiz past my ears, slice at my flesh with each grazing strike, they do everything they can to rip me to shreds. Until, they suddenly wilt. Soul falls to their knees. "This isn't over," they growl, "we will stop you. Maybe not this book, but in book three we I'll defeat you. For now though, I do not have the mana to continue. I'll be back though, and we can pick up where we left off."
Sour goes limp. It's over. My work here is done. You now see what my life is like, and I hope for your alliance. However, you still need to finish book two. Weather you're on my side or not, do everything you can to save that world. Ask Edgar for more info if you wish. For now, I head to book three. "Breaker! End this!"
"The End...?"
