She said she was gonna try to be quick in her explanation. She was quick but I wish she had taken longer. I wasn’t ready… I don’t think I would ever be ready for what happened next.

She said it was up to me and Braeden to stop this organization? Apparently this place had me as a baby and was running tests on me. Until my mother saved me that is. She said my mother stabbed me after they found out I was still alive and tracked me down to try and kill me or take me back. My mother wanted to make sure that never happened so she made sure the wounds she made were not deadly and left me to sacrifice herself.

I couldn’t believe it, no I didn’t want to believe it. Who wants to believe that, who would? I thought she was insane! Maybe she is insane. If she was insane though how did she get so many people to follow her? I wanted to ask but before I could ask she gave me and Braeden a hint and a map.

"You need one more person and you will meet them in the next town if you don't find them you cannot proceed," she said this and then disappeared and when she was gone the park was once again full of people and animals. The sound that it was lacking before had returned and the only thing out of the ordinary was me and Breadens thoughts.

I asked Braeden what that was all about and he shrugged too confused and dumbfounded to answer me. Eventually though he looked at me and said, "I don't know honestly I don't even know if we can take what she said seriously she has got to be insane!"

"I agree but what if she isn't?" I questioned, "What if this is true? Maybe my mom is alive!"

He looked at me with a sad look, "Nyx I know you want her to be alive but if what she is true I dont think she'd still be alive, I'm sorry."

I broke down crying with sobs racking through my body as I flung myself into Braedens arms. He hugged me in an attempt to comfort me mumbling into my ear words of comfort doing what he could to help. As I cried into his shoulder a few people passed by asking if I was ok concerned about what was happening but the only person that was helping right then was Braeden it was a great comfort knowing he was there.

I eventually quit crying and we agreed to go back to my place and think over what just happened. As we walked back we decided to stop and get something to eat cause the ramen we had didn't last long. Eventually though we had managed to momentarily distract ourselves from the issue at hand.
