I should tell Braeden about the lady from last night. What would I say though, "Hey Braeden guess what? Some random old lady entered my home last night claiming to know about my past and claiming to know who I am." I'd sound like a completely mad person. He's my best friend. I can trust him so why not tell him. That seems like the best option right now. Ya... I'll tell him what happened he'd know something is up anyways. He always does, that's one of the best things about him.

"Hey Braeden, so i need to talk to you about something that happened," I mumbled into the phone.

"Sure what's up and are you ok dude? You sound stressed or upset about something," he said.

"Listen to me for a minute because I'm not sure I honestly feel like I might be going insane and that's kinda scary but beside the point!" I replied nervously before I proceeded to explain what just happened. He quickly decided we should discuss this in person, he also felt it necessary to bring food to my house while we talked about it.

"I don't mind but do you really think it's necessary to bring food here too?" I asked, confused as to why it was necessary for him to. But he insisted and wouldn't take no for an answer.

A little bit later he showed up, "I come with a feast fit for a king!" he exclaimed, walking in holding two things of instant ramen. I couldn't help but laugh at him.

"You're such an idiot," I laughed.

"But you seriously didn't have to bring anything with you, you didn't even have to come like at all..." I mumbled mostly to myself. He walked up to me and shoved the ramen in my face.

"I didn't have to but I did now sit down eat the ramen and tell me more of what happened ok?" I nodded and sat down on the couch and told him more of what happened and he looked at me for a moment before asking to see the card she gave me. I handed it over to him and he examined it for a minute.

"I've come to a conclusion!" he suddenly announced.

"We are going to meet up with this lady and before you ask no I am not stupid and yes it will be in a public place I swear I know enough about people to go about this in a smart way ok?" I simply nodded and sat there and thought about it for a moment.

"So," I asked. "We're just gonna go meet some weird creepy lady that randomly showed up at my house claiming to know about me and my mom even though I have never met her before in my life and she didn't even give me her name?"

"Yes, precisely and we are going to hear her out and not make a scene or leave unless something bad happens because we are all rational adults ok? I know you can and you never know it might be useful info or it could be a waste of time that we turn into an inside joke either way you know we will leave if something bad happens so tell me what is the worst that could possibly happen?" He said slightly out of breath from talking for so long without stopping. I just shrugged my shoulders and agreed to the meeting.

He called the woman and explained who he was and what we were gonna do. She agreed to meet at a cafe close to where I live in two hours. I was a nervous wreck but I knew this was the right decision and Braeden desperately tried to pump me up but failed miserably. It was a nice effort though and made me laugh and even though that didn't rid me of my anxiety completely it did help the smallest bit. I'm so glad I have him by my side and I hope it stays this way forever.
