Levi knocked on the door, the door opened and a man with a mask pointed a pistol to Levi.

"Calm down Eric it's me." Levi mumbled and walk past the masked man.

"It's been a while huh? You finally decided to trade your gear?" Eric asked and took off his mask.

Levi nodded and looked around the room filled with guns and ODM gear, he touched the gear and noticed that it was just used no more than a hour ago.

"I'm back in..." Levi mumbled.

Levi observed the gear attached to him, instead of one gas canister attached to his waist this gear had 2 one again on his waist and another on his back. The gas tanks were also attached to his back, and this gear had a black bio-under suit and instead of two swords attached to the handles the handles were now 9mm pistols with long barrels for accuracy...

"The suit is for temperature control." Eric said as he attached one more canister to his back.

"Just so you know Levi....he's been gone for years now...we have no idea where he could be. We've just been doing hit orders." Eric said and studied Levi.

"Ill find him." Levi answered quietly.

"By the way I'll be taking another pair of gear."

The next day Levi went to visit Mikasa at the hospital. Levi entered her room and saw Mikasa sitting by herself watching TV.

"Hey." Mikasa said with a smile and looked at the trench coat Levi had on.

"I'm sorry..." Levi began to apologize.

"It's not your fault." Mikasa cut him off and hugged him.

Mikasa notice that Levi had something under his coat but didn't say anything.

"Listen I'm sorry...I should've never let you use the gear without proper training." Levi said and held her tight but not enough to hurt her rib.

"You're wearing it aren't you?" Mikasa asked.

Levi looked down to his feet ashamed and nodded. He opened his coat and showed her his new gear.

"That isn't the same one is it? Where are the swords?" Mikasa asked and studied the extra belts on Levi's chest and metal playing on his torso. She caught a glimpse of the pistols on his side but didn't say anything.

"No it's not." Levi mumbled and slouched with shame.

"This gears meant to kill people...." Levi mumbled and tried to avoid eye contact.

Mikasas eyes widened and she felt her heart drop, who did she fall in love with? A killer?

"Listen I'm sorry...but you know why I changed my gear..." Levi said and sat down.

(Flashback)

"That's my wife....I say my wife instead of ex because we never separated...she was killed." Levi said and continued to strap the belts on Mikasa.

"By who?" Mikasa asked softly and felt Levi's hands go between her legs to strap a belt...but it didn't bother her.

"Him." Levi mumbled.

Mikasa automatically knew who he was talking about. Kenny, she said his name in her head.

"You know...I'm going to kill him...and slaughter his family if he has one..." Levi mumbled and a uncomfortable smile filled his face. He shakes his head and continued to help Mikasa.

"I'm sorry...it's in my blood I guess..."
