One word...one word could make a man lose hope...it could make a man weak. "No" made Levi weak...it made Levi's whole heart drop in pain.

He watched as Mikasa jumped off the roof and free fall down the large tower they were on. He tried to move but his legs wouldn't budge...why...did she not love me this whole time? Was I just a fool?

Levi felt a small frail hand grasp his shoulder.

"You mixed business with love young one. Go get her if you really love her." A old women said and helped Levi up.

Levi looked at all the faces staring at him...Kenny...no Mikasa.

He jumped off the building and free fell until he shot his grapples up and caught the nearest building. He swung forward passing buildings searching for the grey eyed woman he loved. The woman that made him confused, nervous and feel. This was his moment to prove his love for her. He didn't matter anymore...all that mattered was finding her.

He continued to search until he stopped at the sears tower, he looked around but couldn't find her...he listened...his heart raced.

He could hear the grapples of ODM gear north of him. He followed the sound until he saw her, her hair dancing in the air.

"Mikasa! Stop!" He shouted and raced towards her full speed. She turned around and saw him, she began to slow down.

"How did you find me?" She asked as she came to a stop on a roof top.

"I listened." Levi said and grabbed her.

He felt her cheeks, he could feel the deep cut above her cheek from the accident.

"I'm sorry.." Levi said and a tears began to drop from his eyes. Mikasa watched him stunned.

"I'm sorry I made you do this...I thought this was the perfect way to propose to you..." he said and fell to his knees.

"What? Make me join you're clan of criminals?!" She said took his hand off her cheek.

Levi sobbed and nodded... he finally stopped and stood up and faced Mikasa. This was it...this was the moment.

"Mikasa Ackerman I know I've made some stupid decisions in my life and I don't expect you to forgive me but...I love you and I always will love you...you make me feel crazy even if I don't show it, Kenny doesn't matter anymore, what matters to me is spending the rest of my life with you...will you be my wife?" He sobbed softly as he held Mikasas hand.

Mikasas heart skipped beats and her pupils dilated...she leaned in and kissed the sobbing man.

"That's how you're supposed to propose."

Levi sat in his booth and took out his books he watched Mikasa sit down too. The waitress walked up to them and brought them their order.

Levi smiled at her and began to write his next chapter of his book.

"So did you find out what you're going to name it?" Mikasa asked as she ate her eggs.

"What the baby or the book." Levi joked.

Mikasa blushed and smiled.

"The book silly." She said as she felt her stomach.

"Yep...it will be called...From Rivals To Lovers."
