Manik woke up with a wide smile and made a call to the most precious person of his life... His....
While on the other side a girl's beauty sleep got disturb by continuous rings and without opening her eyes completely she accepted the phone and put it on her ears and was going to say something when she heard an excited voice from the other end making her smile widely even in sleep
M- good morning my angel... May you have the best day.... Now my sleepy head wish your bhai
She smiled hearing his words and said in a happy yet sleepy voice
N- good morning bhai.... Aapka din shubh ho.... Khushiyon se bhara ho... I love you dher saara par aapko pata hai i didnt expected this call at all... Mujhe toh laga tha ab aap uthne ke baad sabse pehle call mujhe nhi bhabhi ko karoge like every new couple does
He smiled listening to her and in an assuring tone said
M- galat laga tha tujhe and rahi baat call ki toh mera din humesha teri aawaz sunke shuru hota hai aur humesha waise hi shuru hoga samjhi
Naira smiled widely hearing him and sat upright and in a chirpy voice said
N- aww bhai i love you so so so very much.....bhai  Aapko pata hai I'm so happy kal mujhe ek nahi balki do do happy news mile
Hearing her manik got confused and asked

Manik got shocked hearing her and to confirm it again asked

M- uss lecturer ki shaadi hone wali hai, "in a pity tone" bechara uska hone wala pati toh jindagi bhar usse lecture hi sunta reh jaega..."in a complaining tone" Kitni irritating hai teri woh di accha hua i didn't met her till now or else
Naira interrupted him  and In an excited as well as in a teasing tone said
N- Or else pyaar kar baithte shayad aap unse..."praising her di excitedly while manik start making bad faces" after all she's the best....... "Manik made a shocked face"You know aap dono na ek dusre ke liye bilkul perfect hote but " He calmed down and took a breath of sigh while naira comtinued" I'm so happy ki aapke life mai meri bhabhi aayi hai...... Maine dekha toh nahi but jitna suna hai na usse i can easily conclude that she's really beautiful and good...."manik felt happy" Aaloo di and mukku didu toh unki tareefein karte nahi thak rahi thi and mumma... Mumma toh itni khush hai na ki abhi meri sau galtiyaan bhi maaf kar dengi..... Mujhse toh na ab wait hi nhi ho raha hai
M- haa toh madam who said you to wait huh....."in an excited tone" Mai abhi teri bhabhi ka number deta hu tujhe you just talk with her once.... I really feel ki tum dono ki bonding bohot hi special hogi.... M- "in a mocking tone" matlab tujhe abhi tak pics tak nhi bheje apne fiance ke teri favorite di ne.... Yahi pyaar hai uska tere liye ha.... Dekh le Tu hi ek paagal hai jo din raat di di ki ratt lagaaye rehti hai
Listening him naira made a "ohh no he  started again" Kinda face and said

Listening the term aap dono ki shaadi he made a haww face and immediately corrected her
M- Oye humari respective shaadis mai
N- "smiling sheepishly" Ha ha obviously
Again trying to find more about his lecturer's fiance without showing his interests... In a normal tone
M- waise teri di ka woh bakra sach mai handsome hai ya phir badi badi phaink rahi hai woh
Manik thought that he's successful in hiding his interest from his angel but she's also manik's sister... She very well knew that he wants to know more about her di and she really wants to see their good bonding coz they're the most precious persons of her life and in a normal voice said
N- aap khud hi kyu nhi pooch lete unse..... Waise bhi unhe congratulate karna chahiye aapko
M- "in a disagreeing tone" mai kyu karu use congratulate
N- "with all her rights on him" kyuki mai keh rahi hu aapse..... Unhe bohot accha lagega and unse zyada mujhe...."trying to emotionally blackmail him" Apni angel ke liye ek congratulations nhi bol sakte unhe
And how can our manik not fulffill such a simple request of his angel... He immediately agreed
M- okk but sirf tere liye
N- "excitedly" okk
M- "in an urgent voice" accha ab now go get ready fast or else you'll get late for college
N- aye aye captain waise "in a teasing tone" bhabhi ko good morning wish kar do jaldi ab bechaari aapke muh se good morning sunne ke liye betaab hongi
He blushed hard at this
M- "trying hard to control his blush" Tu phone rakh aur jaa ready hone
She can feel his blush in his voice only and thrilled said
N- bhai are you blushing.... Sach mai.....oh my God bhai i so want to see your face right now.... Bhabhi ko toh hume award dena chahiye after all Mr. Manik malhotra ko blush karwana kisi lifetime achievement se kam nhi hai
Manik knew that if not stopped.... She'll start teasing him again and he can't take the risk of blushing in front of her again as this news will spread like wildfire and soon it'll become the headline news for his family and they'll tease the hell out of him... So in a bossy tone he said
M- ho gaya.... Ab ready hone jaa
N- "sheepishly" ha bye I love you and...."in a teasing voice but hurriedly" ha bhabhi ko na bilkul aise hi blush karte huye good morning bolna ha
M- naira Tu
He was going to scold her but before that only she cuts the call and manik thinks a little angrily
M- "thinking"  yeh accha hai iska pehle toh mujhe ched lo pareshaan kar lo and then just gaayab ho jaao....milne do batata hu ise.... Cabu aur mukku ne bigaad ke rakh diya hai........" Cutely" Waise lecturer ki shaadi sach mai ek handsome ladke se hone wali hai kya.... "Self assuring" Naah uss lecturer se konsa handsome ladka shaadi karne ke liye taiyaar hoga pakka faink rahi hogi meri angel ke saamne "self realizing" but use congratulate karna toh banta hai after all chahe kitni bhi irritating kyu na ho woh....."with a glint in his eyes...respect for her clearly visible on his face" she did a lot for my angel and I'll forever be grateful to her for loving my angel so much...... But pehle nandini se baat karta hu
He took out his phone and again felt jitters in his body but then ignoring it thought
"Confused" Nandini ko message karu ya call karu..."in a determined voice" yeah I'll message her first..yes."he started to type but again felt jittery....his hands started sweating a little......frustated  he thought" Yaar kal call karne ke baad bhi yeh bechaini mera picha nahi chod rhi...."looking heavenward....in a complaining voice" Oh god kyu kyu......kyu mere saath aisa kar rahe ho......kya bigaada hai maine aapka ha.......... Kya maza aa raha hai aapko iss maasoom se bacche ko pareshaan karne mai ha...."folding his hands....in a begging tone" Help karo meri please na please bhagwaanji please...
Just then something clicked in his mind and in a horrified tone he thought
M- "thinking" agar nandini ka bhi sapna hua baaki ladkiyon ki tarah ki mai usse subah uthte hi wish karu toh.. Like uthte hi sabse pehle woh mere message expect kar rahi ho toh

While on the other side nandini woke up and her hands automatically went to her phone to check whether she got any message Or not actually she's waiting for manik's message and not finding which....she became a little sad
Na- "thinking" Manik ka message nhi aaya.... Films mai toh aisa hi dekha hai maine ki aise meets ke agle din subah subah hi the guy messages the girl good morning.... "Mentally chiding herself" Arre buddhu yeh film thodi na hai real life hai aur real life mai kaam bhi hote hai hume and movies mai toh I don't think so kabhi protagonist kaam bhi karte hai....tu apne dimaag ke ghode daudana band kar and manik ko good morning wish kar....."in a confused tone" Par mai kaise.... "explaining herself" arre agar Tu unse expect kar rahi hai toh ho sakta hai na ki woh bhi tujhse expect kar rahe ho... "In a confused tone" Haa woh hai par ladke karte hai na.... "Self mocking" Konse zamaane mai jee rahi hai aap doctor nandini... Ladka ladki ek hai yeh sochne wali aisi baatein soch rahi hai not done...."agreeing...in a relieved tone" Bilkul sahi bola... Mai abhi message karti hu "in a confused tone" nahi nahi call karti hu... Nahi nahi message karti hu... O god it's so confusing... "Looking heavenward....in a complaining tone" Kyu kyu kar rahe ho aisa ... Kl bhi aisa hi kiya tha aapne mere saath not fair godji not fair
Just then an idea clicked in both of their minds
N and m" Together thinking at the same time....in a thrilled tone" Message kar hi deta /deti hu baaki baad ki baad mai dekhenge
They messaged each other at the same time
Good morning
and a beautiful smile appeared on their faces seeing the message and reminiscing last night they laughed hard on their respective places as they got each other's message at the same time

Controlling their laughs they made a call to each other but again they dialled each other at the same time.... They giggled and took the call and with giggles they said
N and M "together" Hello good morning
They again laughed hard on this and they laughed till their tummy hurts
Finally controlling his laughter manik said in an amused tone
M- phir se nandini humara kuch nahi ho sakta
N- "in an amused tone" sach mai manik abhi phir se wahi haalat ho gayi thi..."in a thrilled tone" O god kitni ajeeb  feeling hai na!!!
M- "in an enthusiastic tone" sach mai aisa lagta hai jaise mai call karne ke liye phone nhi utha raha balki kisi se ladne ke liye talwar utha raha hu
N- "in an enthusiastic tone" haa sach mai mujhe toh apne final exams mai bhi aisi feeling nhi hui thi jaise kl raat aur abhi ho rhi thi
He giggled on her remark and giggling said
M- sach mai mujhe bhi
They laughed hard
Soon after controlling their laughter session.... Manik in a normal yet hopeful tone asked
M- accha what's your plan for today
N- I'll fresh n up and then I'll be going to my hospital... "In a little sad tone" I've a really tight schedule today
M- oo
N- and what about you??
M- umm same here... I'll fresh n up and then I'll go to office.... Today I've two important meetings
N- "in a cheerful one " all the best for your meetings
M- "in an excited tone" same to you all the best
Manik and nandini wanted to interact more but then they didn't knew what to talk.... Trying to initiate a conversation in a hopeful tone she said
N- umm toh..
Manik also wanted to answer her... But then didn't knew what to say.... In a hopeful tone he said
M- hmm.. Toh ... "Suddenly in a fast pace he said" Umm tum abhi breakfast Mai kya karne wali ho
Immediately Self chiding himself manik pagal ho gaya hai kya aisa bhi koi puchta hai kya woh abhi uthi hi hai... Awkward kar diya na sab kuch
Nandini smiled hearing his question and understood what he must be feeling now... So to lighten the air between them she said
N- umm i dont know but ya I'll definitely have a cup of coffee..... "In a curious tone" Accha what do you like the most chai Or coffee
Manik smiled brightly as nandini didn't felt awkward and the
M- "in a cheerful tone" umm mujhe dono hi chalte hai
N- "in a curious tone" so you aren't addicted to any of these
M- no..."lovingly" I'm not addicted to anything except my families love. ..."curiously" And you?? Do you have any addiction of chai Or coffee
N- no but i like coffee sometimes...."excitedly like a kid" It's my favorite... Mine and my kittu's... We often share our day's happening  drinking coffee and eating icecream.
M- "in a thrilled tone" wow... What a combination... Hot and cold together
N- hmm ajeeb hai na sab bolte hai that we both are unique
M- "lovingly" nhi bilkul bhi nhi... Sab kya sochte hai hume isse koi fark nhi padna chahiye... Hume bas iss baat se fark padna chahiye ki aapke dil ko kisme khushi mil rahi hai and how much peace it brings to you
Nandini smiled brightly hearing his words and just then something clicked in her mind and she immediately said

She was gonna say naira's name when she remembered the promise she gave to her pari and halted in her words but manik interrupted her thoughts and asked

She didn't knew what to say and thus applying the idea her pari gave last night she lied closing her eyes
N- "babbled" umm nothing... Actually mom is calling me... I'll call you later... Bye
Nandini was feeling utterly embarrased due to this and thought
N-"thinking" Yeh ladki bhi na.... Kyu mujhse promise liya isne.. Aise phone cut karna pada mujhe...manik kya soch rahe honge mere baare mai.....and mai manik ko sach bhi nhi bata sakti........agar unhone puch liya toh phir se jhuth bolna hoga..... "In a determined tone" Pari se milwate hi mai manik ko sorry bol dungi and kabhi pari ki aisi zidd nhi maanungi.... Kabhi nahi
While here manik got confused because of her weird behavior and thought
M- "thinking" weird....."self-assuring" tu zyada soch raha hai manik..this is not at all weird..."self-mocking" You don't have any work but she has,She's a doctor for God's sake not like you, a guy who gets up so late... "Self-chiding" Hey don't comment on my sleep, its one of my favorite work..I love sleeping.... "In an apologising tone" Okk kumbhkaran abb uth jaao nahi toh "giggling" tumhari mumma raavan ka roop dhaaran kiye upar aa jaaengi
Scared he immediately ran towards his washroom to fresh n up ..... Getting all ready he thought
M- let's congratulate that lecturer otherwise my angel would feel hurt
Taking out his phone... He typed in the search bar- lecturer... Soon her name popped out in the screen.... Seeing it he smirked inwardly and felt proud on himself for giving such an apt name to her- lecturer
He typed
M- congratulations..... I heard you're getting engaged

Nandini who just came out from the washroom got shocked seeing a message from an Id titled-- Mr. Jj......and thought
N-"thinking" "In an astonished tone" Arre waah unexpected..... mr.jj congratulated me. Good...."self realizing" Nandu don't you think you should also congratulate him after all he's also getting engaged.... "Self-questioning" But why will I congratulate such a julmi jallad aadmi..... "Self answering" Coz he's your pari's brother and don't forget how much he helped you in your maths exam....."self-realising" Yup I remember... "In a determined tone" Okk I'll congratulate him too

She typed
N- Congratulations.... I heard even you're getting engaged
Manik who was going out of his room stopped in his tracks as he heard a ping sound and checking the notifications he found that nandini congratulated him... He casually typed remembering nandini's beauty
M- yes... To the most beautiful girl in this world
Nandini got annoyed seeing his message and thought that he's trying to flaunt his fiance and thought
N- "in an annoyed tone" Haa toh mujhe kyu suna raha hai....."proudly" Mere manik kya kam hai....."in a pity tone" Bechaari woh ladki iss jj se shaadi karke apni zindagi barbaad karne wali hai.... "In a determined tone" Let me also tell him how handsome my manik is...
Thinking this she typed remembering her manik
N- Good....even I'm getting engaged to the most handsome and dashing guy of this world
Manik saw her message and felt exasperated and thought

He typed
M- Oo good......accha laga sunke.... BTW can i have a look at your dashing fiance
Seeing his reply nandini made a haww face and became really angry as she thought that he's thinking like she's boasting about her fiance and impulsively typed
N- So you think that he's not dashing and I'm just exaggerating things
Manik got angered seeing her reply and immediately typed impulsively
M- When did I told such a thing... But yaa now I've a doubt... I mean who will be interested in marrying a girl like you who loves giving lectures on anything and everything
Seeing his reply nandini's temper rose and she typed

Neyonika chuckled at this and in a tensed voice said
Ne- Maa inn gadho ke baare mai sochti hu na toh dil ghabra jaata hai mera "lovingly" dono hi paagal hai par jaan hai meri.....mere dono bacche best deserve karte hai....... Maa Mera cabu sharaarati hai badmaash hai.....kuch bhi bol deta hai......par dil se maa bilkul sona hai mera baccha....mera bas chale na toh duniya ki saari khushiyaan uski jholi mai daal du.....uske liye toh uski jaise hi koi nautanki dhundhni hogi jo use acche se sambhaal sake aur ha "giggling at her own words" use aaloo ke paraathe toh banaane aane hi chahiye..... Mere cabu ki jaan hai woh

She immediately cut the call saying
Ne- Maa mai rakhti hu mujhe niche jaana hoga warna yeh nalaayaks pure ghar ko sar pe utha lenge
She giggled and said

Ne- bye.... I love you maa
Ra- I love you too
