Prologue-The King Is Discovered

His eyes drifted onto the sky, slowly drooping down during the moment of peaceful relaxation, transfixed mindlessly onto the sky, his golden hair flickering on the sun as he laid on the rooftops, slowly entering and leaving a bout of drowsiness, but it was too early to sleep so he forced his body up, pushing his arms to the side of the roof and forcing his body up, the movement causing more blood to flow through his body and made him awake enough that he could stand up, looking at the rest of the village from his spot.

He looked from up atop his resting spot, as a smile slowly showed itself to his face. This was his home village, Yamato Village, a place where the sun can shine it's beautiful glow on you anytime of the day.He could keep watching the sunset forever if he could but he soon heard two adults's voices shouting at him.

"ARASHI GET DOWN NOW!!!" the deeper voice said from underneath the house.

One was a man, his body tall with wide shoulders, as if he alone was all that was needed to bear the weight of the world itself, muscles chiseled through years of labor and hard work, even through his thick clothes that were barely able to cover them, his right arm sleeveless, allowing his free movement, his black hair almost was the opposite of Arashi's golden hair, the darkest black that promised to encroach the entire world and protect it at the darkest of times.

[Jakal Pendragon]

The other was a woman, her presence faint, as if at a mere moment she could fade out of the world, able to go anywhere and follow her heart however she wished and for the world to help her should she want it, her pink hair similar to cherry blossoms, able to blend in wherever land that wasn't touched by either humans or faunus existed, however she moved a practiced dance, honed by years of experience, gliding wherever she needed to without making a sound, but staying next to the man as if that was where her entire purpose lied.

[Himiko Pendragon]

The young golden boy would silently climb down the roof to only enter the gaze of both his mother and father as he only smiles "H-Hi there mom and Dad funny seeing you there" the golden hair child would look at his parents with a worried look on his face as this was the third time he was caught climbing the rooftops looking at the sky.

"You know it's dangerous to do that honey," the pink haired woman said to her child, kneeling down to his level, putting a gentle hand on his cheek, looking at her son with worried eyes as her son spoke. "I know mom, it's just that..." he stops trying to find the right words to say in this situation "When I am up there, I feel like I'm closer to the sky like I can do anything." Arashi said as he smiled looking at his parents with honesty in his voice.

The black haired man sighed at his child's reckless behavior but he can sort of relate to his son's actions. He was once like that when he was young as well. The black haired man only patted his son's head with a rare smile that contrasts his dark look "Just don't do it again okay son?" He asked as his golden haired child beamed with happiness "Okay then Dad" Arashi said with a smile.

Himiko can only smile at her son and husband. She feels joy from being with them as she chuckles "Now come on you two, or I'm starting the picnic without you two" she said giggling as her husband,Jakal, playfully gasps in fake shock "You wouldn't dare" Himiko can only giggle at her husband's reaction "try me~" she said as the pink haired faunus starts walking off as her lover and child soon rushes to join her.

For a while, the three walked in silence, only needing the presence of each other to feel comfortable, sometimes waving and saying hi to the other villagers when they called them, until eventually they reached the edge, where the empty fields could be seen unpolluted by people, the wind gently blowing and sending a whistle in the air, cooling them while the sun hit them without the lack of shadows.

The family set out an old,red blanket to sit on the grass as Himiko pulled out some sandwiches for the whole family to eat as it was a peaceful scene for them. There was no chaos to distract them, just peace and quiet enjoyed by their company. But soon there was a noise as it shook the ground beneath the family, Jakal soon grabbed his dust powered katana being on guard as Himiko pulled out her bow reading it in case of an attack.

Jakal looks around for the source of the booming sound as he spots a grimm as he growls "just great a grimm" he said as he pulls out his katana from its sheath.

It crawled on four legs, stepping closer to then and causing the ground to have minor quakes, its body short and long, resembling a crocodile, reaching the height of a fully grown male and as wide as a death stalker, multiple plates of bone armor covered its body, on the top acting like scales that faced upwards, while larger bone armor covered it's underbody in a few segments, barely leaving any skin to hit, it's eyes shone with fury while the skull armor that replaced its head shined with red markings, teeth sharpened and some chipped as if it had multiple years to build their strength by eating and grinding bones, the only soft flesh other than the flesh under its hide being the inside of its mouth, slightly open as it was prepared to attack.

Jakal stands his ground in front of his family ready to strike as he was staring at the beast waiting for the first one to strike as Himiko slowly loads an fire dust arrow aimed at the creature.

There was one thing they didn't account for though, the Grimm was young and Arashi's heart wasn't hardened to feel no fear, and seeing such a weak target, even if it was surrounded by stronger targets, it's hunger won over it's rational and the sobek dashed forward, clearly trying to target the warriors child.

Both warriors unleashed their attacks causing great damage to the creature but ultimately the beast rushed through the two hunters jumping at the child ready to attack. Arashi closed his eyes in fear waiting for the pain but there was just nothing. Arashi slowly opened his eyes to see his parents pushing back the attack protecting their child with their life.

The Grimm's anger rose from someone stopping it from getting its prey, roaring in a deep growl and using its size difference to try and push through the two parents protecting their child, but was just met with more resistance, it's anger rising as its tail bent around its body, trying to strike Jakal , while Arashi slowly moved back, not wanting to leave but his instincts making him stay out of danger.

Jakal dodged the attack with great speed holding his blade then he jumped onto the tail of the beast running up its back striking from above at quick speed. Himiko was firing arrows rapidly as the arrows seemed to be alive moving like magic as her eyes glow bright red as she fired a barrage of arrows at the best damaging it but not enough due to its tough shell.

With Jakal on his back, and arashi still it's target due to the boys fear, as well as Himiko using her arrows, it used the opening where it could still move it's body freely, ignoring the pain from the two attackers so it could once again charge at arashi, its mouth wide so it could chomp down on him.

But with its large body making its charge obvious, Jakal jumped forward, using the momentum that he had from the grimm and his faster speed in order to land in front of it, his sword glowing slightly blue as the ice dust cartridge was activated, the blade digging into the front fangs and slowly spreading ice throughout it, cracks slowly growing from the initial dent as the ice spread apart, removing the from the Sobek.

Enraged from the loss, it changed its target to Himiko who kept firing her arrows as the beast charges at her but Himiko was too quick as she got of the way and send one more arrow at the beast but the beast rage only increased as it hits it tail to the ground causing the ground to shake more.

This instability shook all of their bodies, making Himiko miss her next few arrows, as the Grimm swiped its tail at an opening, crashing it into her body and sending her flying to her husband, her aura absorbing the damage but the pain still spreading through her body when Jakal caught her.
With both of them in a temporary vulnerable position, it charged at them once again, it's maw wide and ready to snap the two's body within its mouth, smacking the ground with its tail one more time to make the ground shake and make it harder to avoid, Jakal could try to escape but carrying Himiko with him would be too much of a risk, slowing him down so neither would escape.

With that thought, he did the only thing he could think of, Himiko's eyes widening as she felt her body being thrown out of the way and wanting to bring him with her, but it was too late, he had thrown her out of danger and now if he tried to escape the Grimm would just turn and grab his wife before she could land, staring at the Grimm with conviction as he crossed his arms in front of his face, ready to take the attack head on.

From the sidelines, forgotten by the Grimm and thought to have ran away to safety by his parents, Arashi could feel something inside him click when he watched the fight, the two people he cared about the most in danger, his fear and anxiety left his body as if they never existed.

He stood strong as his eyes glowed pure golden light as his body started to move on its own, already knowing what to do without thinking, rushing towards the battle as his hand felt somewhat heavy but he didn't care as he rushed at the sobek, giving his father enough time to dodge while his mother landed.

Jakal didn't want to at first, however with a single glance at Arashi's eyes, a feeling of trust and tranquility filled his heart as he moved without thinking, getting out of the way from the soboks attack while entrusting his son to finish it, his weapon staying ready to protect his son in case his instinct was wrong,

""EX-"

Arashi stood his ground firmly and raised the light covered sword in his hands to the air, energy flowing through his body as he slashed down.

"-CALIBER"

A huge pillar of light formed for all to witness, crashing into the beast with pure destructive force, breaking its body and instantly slaying it.

With the uncontrolled destruction, a crater was formed on the ground with Arashi in the episenter, soon he was hit with a sudden wave of exhaustion, falling onto the ground.

Later, he was resting on his bed, his parents having picked him up and placed him on his bed, taking care of him as he rested.

Within beacon academy, a certain man sipped his coffee, watching the recording after his magic reacted to something in the world, staring at the beam of light that was shown on his screen "so the king has risen."
